Its a nice change from the typical chain restaurants that litter Sabraton. There are nice things about Archies and there are some things about it that frustrate me. First off the food is generally pretty good. The Archie Melt steak sandwich has a lot of flavor but is difficult to eat because its pretty messy. The wings are really good. They cook them crisp and use a generous amount of sauce. Try the garlic wings and get them spicy. They are top notch. Where archies doesn't sine is in their service. Its very slow. I've eaten there dozens of times and I've never once had speedy service. At this point I only go there when I have extra time and I'm not in a hurry. They've single handedly destroyed several of my 1 hour lunch breaks. I've even asked for my check at the same time I received my food and still end up being late.

The wings here are terrific!! So are the onion rings!! Good beer selection. Nice place to relax and have some good food!!

Best wings in town. period. The rest of the menu is also great. The staff is genuinely nice, and the bartenders know how to mix a drink. If you want to chill out with good drinks and great food, without the pretentious vibe of other wing places in Morgantown, get to Archie's ASAP.

Archie's used to be the gem of Sabraton--a good place to get wings and drinks with friends. My husband and I took some friends who were in town to Archie's, and everything that could have gone wrong basically did. The restaurant has new owners and a new menu as a result. We put in our drink and food orders and waited and waited...and waited--until all of our drinks were empty. When our food finally came out all six of us had at least one item missing from what we had ordered. My friend ordered the mac and cheese which was supposed to include bacon and onions but seemed to just be plain Velveeta. On the other hand, the potato skins were filled with piles of onions. To top it off, our dinners were consumed with no drinks. My friend spoke to who she was told was the mangager twice who informed her that our waitress was new (and clearly did not receive proper training before beginning) as her way of apologizing. We finally asked for our checks and waited for 20 minutes to get them. We received no apology from the management and but just a measly $2 off our check. One of my friends paid in cash and was owed money back, and the waitress shorted her some of her change indicating that "they don't give (coin) change back." I will not be returning to Archie's anytime in the near future. Luckily, we were able to warn some Baylor fans who had come in to try Mario's Fishbowl instead. Please take my advice as they did and avoid Archie's until the new owners figure out how to run a restaurant or Bar Rescue decides to take them on.

WOW!!!!!! Absolutely horrible. New owners, new menu. Used to be one of my favorite places to go. Not anymore. Old steak hogie was awesome. No longer on the menu. Still have wings, but not nearly the same amount of flavors. Any locals that used to love to eat here, be warned. I won't be back. Very disappointed.
