My whole family loves Logan's! My wife always gets the chicken and I always get the Logan. Sweet potato is very good. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

Our experience was so bad we thought we were on a hidden camera TV show. The hostess who was obviously off the clock (because she was wearing a coat and holding her purse) sat us in the worst booth possible. The booth was next to the kitchen and close to the area where the *busboy* sat until he had a table to clean. There was a constant flow of the waitstaff rushing by and yelling/speaking loudly to each other. At times some of the waitstaff would stop in front of our booth and talk loudly, we couldn't hear each other speak and we were sitting right across from each other. There were many times when the waitstaff would grab the back of our seats as they turned the corner. It was ok when it happened a couple times but it became super annoying when it kept happening over and over again. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often but that didn't make up for the fact that the food was mediocre at best. Logan's attempt at the standard chain steak restaurant Blooming-Texas-onion-rose-petal is just onion rings with a bland sauce, don't bother if you want an actual steakhouse onion thingie. It was la-la-la-lame. Our steaks arrived lukewarm, bland and overly fatty. And last but not least, the **busboy**. Our booth was next to the kitchen and close to the busboys hangout area. He was up and down and walking back and forth constantly. He was also scratching his junk CONSTANTLY. It was extremely distracting and super gross. SOMEONE BUY THAT DUDE SOME JOCK ITCH CREAM PRONTO!!! There were a few times he walked over to an empty area to really get in there but we could still see him. I will never go here again.

Service was good but they were out of Thousand Island so I had to change my order after already waiting for my salad. Ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly.

Came on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy at all and was seated immediately. My server was very polite and friendly. She did state that she has only been here for a week but to me she has been to for years. She was on the ball. Everything was exactly how I ordered it. I'm very picky about what is on my plate and everything I asked to. Steak, ribs, shrimp all delicious. Also try the house strawberry lemonade. Yum yum

I had the Logan steak. It had an okay taste but it was very difficult to chew. I ordered the grilled vegetables skewers with a salad as my sides. The salad was really good but the veggies were not great at all. I don't think I would go back. The steak was $14.99... Very overpriced for food quality and taste.

Disappointed. I have eaten at other Logan's and enjoyed it, but this experience was very underwhelming. For some reason they decided to butterfly the filet when it was ordered medium. The result was overcooked steaks. Luckily since they were fillets they were moist, but not what was ordered. Also, the asparagus was destroyed. Mushy and really overcooked. Sadly, next time we stay at the Holiday Inn nearby, I think we will just drive into the city for food.

Not very impressed, for the price of there food. I got my food and it was cold and not good. I had to go to the bathroom, and when I walked in the floor was sticky and there was stuff all over the seat of the commode, looked like the bathroom hadn't been clean all week. I can understand if they where busy, but we came at the peek of dinner, and really understaffed. They have redone their menu and really increased the price. I'm not the type to normally complain or write reviews, but this wasn't a good experience,

So my family and I went to Logan's the other night and I was a little shocked at how dirty this place was, everything was just dirty, they only had a "good" rating from the health department but we thought what the heck we will try it, I wanted chili and beer and everyone else wanted wings and steaks. First let me say that we had an awesome waitress that was very attentive and made sure everything was ok, my chili was cold but I didn't care too much because it was just chili. Everyone else's food came out ok. Did I mention that the place was dirty? The bathrooms were nasty, floors sticky and The server stations were nasty looking, just not a good atmosphere. As I was finishing up my beer I noticed the table across from me ( a couple talking) and the gentleman smacked the table, saw his lips say roach. And I just was shocked, the waitress came over and as she was freaking out a little I saw one crawling on the wall ( we were sitting in the back section) so I pointed and she saw it and got it, then one crawled by me on the wall. Not wanting to start a scene I looked at my wife and stood up and waited for the manager, he was cool came out and took care of our entire bill and apologized over and over. We left our table but saw that they didn't close down the section just bussed it and reset it for the next customers, I couldn't believe it! NASTY! I will never set foot in that location or a Logan's again. Now I see why they had a low rating from the health department. In all of my years dining out I have never experienced roaches before. Now I can say I have done it.

Food was okay. Place was crowded and the chairs were uncomfortable. A couple of things were forgotten on our order. We were also crowded next to a family with babies crying. I've definitely had better steaks. I probably will not go back.

Really good steaks. The rolls are to die for. I love them!!!! Great happy hour place. I always stop by Logan's when I'm in Charleston.

Maybe I have confused Logan's Roadhouse with some other restaurant. I ate a steak in Birmingham at what-I-thought-was Logan's and it was very good. This is not so good. I ordered their special ribeye but didn't notice it was 20 ounces! First of all it wasn't a ribeye but a strip. That was forgivable as I like strip steaks too but this one was chemically-tenderized and had a good bit of gristle. Not a good meal at all. If you're looking fir a good steak, Outback might be a much better choice. I wish I could remember where I ate the steak in Birmingham. It was very good but this one was very mediocre. Obviously it wasn't a Logan's in B'ham.

Prices are decent, so's the food, and the service pretty much averages out there too. One of the better places in Charleston to snag a steak if you don't want to pay out the nose.

Last night I had the biggest Porterhouse and stiffest Jack and Coke I've ever had. It was pretty darn good. The steak was a little too fatty for my taste, and probably rare when I ordered medium rare (it was too dark to really tell), but it tasted great. The bread was wonderful. Mac and cheese, yummy. And the veggie skewers, absolutely delicious. I do have to mention though, that although our service was great, the table next to us never got one whole dish and ended up sharing an order, and another table sent his food back because it was cold. It was our first night in Charleston, and we asked the front desk where we can get a good $20 steak... three people said Logan's simultaneously. I'd come back. Not that I'd ever come back to Charleston, but I'd visit a Logan's again.

I never got a steak here but the ribs are pretty good for WV. I go here once a week and order at least cheese fries and a couple beers. Great staff and beer is good.

Logan's Roadhouse is an average steakhouse chain with a Charleston location right on 119. It is a national chain that is designed to feel like an old fashioned roadhouse. It was surprisingly crowded for lunch on Sunday. We ended up waiting for 40 minutes. The floor is littered in peanut shells. You are actually given a bucket of shelled peanuts when you sit down. In addition to the peanuts, you are given complimentary bread, which was actually pretty good. It was slightly sweetened, which actually made all the difference. For lunch, I had the Santa Fe Tilapia, which was average. The fish was a little bland, even though it was seasoned in Southwestern spices. There was a corn and black bean salsa which was good, but it didn't taste fresh. There was also a cilantro-chipotle sauce. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't memorable either. I ordered fries and Brewsky onions with it. The onions were unedible. They were sweet onions with a kick and they had a funky flavor to them. The fries were good, but not great. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Logan's, but if your options are limited, Logan's is still edible, although not memorable.
