Nice atmosphere, but food is bland, and beer a little pricey.

Wasn't pleased with the meal, staff was good, place was clean (still new) way too overpriced drinks and food. Probably won't be going back to this one anytime soon.

Amazing service and food. I went with a very large group of friends (15+ people) around 730 on a Thursday evening and they seated us in a private room promptly and were nice enough to setup separate checks for all of us. Kristin, our server, was amazing and got all of our various orders for drinks and food correct. All of the food was delicious and interesting! I definitely want to go back before my short trip to WV is over. Thanks Kristin!

Excellent food! We started off with corned beef and cabbage egg rolls. Very delicious! It came with a sour cream and sauerkraut dip (sounds strange I know) but it complemented it well. I had the "Boxty" which is a potato pancake filled with cabbage, onions and red peepers. You have a choice off meat: chicken, steak, salmon or keep it vegetarian. I had the chicken. It's all topped with a Parmesan sauce. The whole thing was delicious! I did have a couple of pieces of cabbage that were hard and crunchy and the sauce was very runny which made it hard to eat without being messy. I also had a side of their Brussel sprouts. Must get these! Awesome!! My husband got the new fish and chips which is salmon and potato hash with sautéed veggies. Salmon was cooked perfectly and had no fishy taste. Had a Rosemary teriyaki glaze that was great. Waitress was awesome. I highly recommend this place!

I had two kinds of wings, the mussels (damn, the mussels were good) and three different beers. Brittany the bartender was spot-on, the food was great, and the people around the bar were all cool. Very happy to find this place during my trip to Bridgeport. Highly recommend, and will definitely come back if I return to town.

Good beer selection for the area. Had the banger and mash and thought it was very good. The atmosphere is ok. The room felt very large... Big and open. Kinda Loud! Also the floor was really slick... like the chairs slid all over the place. But was happy to see a nice local (WV) beer selection. Hope they keep that up!

So to start, it's was obvious that this place caters to a certain crowd. It was only white people interested in getting drunk. It wasn't a bad thing necessarily, but it was an odd vibe. Our waiter was Wes, and he was just great! Always on top of drinks and helpful at making recommendations. For an appetizer, we had the Celtic Knot. It was absolutely delicious for a pretzel and dipping sauces! K ordered the fish and chips, and he was thrilled. He said it was the best in the local area. (He reheated it next day and was ecstatic that it reheated up great). I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. I could only eat half the dish since it was so spicy, but in a good way! Overall, everything was delicious and fulfilling. This place is a little pricey ($50 for 2 with no alcohol), but it was a nice change from soul food.

Awful service appetizers were promising but the waitress either couldn't or wouldn't tell us the price of the beers then ignored us for 20 minutes then we gave up and asked for our tab she then proceeded to take the food orders for a table of 12 rather than get our tab horrible service too bad food looked promising

Food is always great! Such a great beer selection, too! The buffalo Mac & Cheese is top notch!

Food and drinks have been good on both visits. The Irish Nachos are good and a large serving for two people. We have preferred the apps and desserts more than the entrees.

So excited to have a quality Irish restaurant in the Clarksburg/Bridgeport area! The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5 star rating. I have been several times and have ordered various menu items. The only problem now is that I have enjoyed them all so much and cannot decide what to get next time! Don't miss out on the unique corned beef and cabbage egg rolls, spinach dip (ask for chips instead of the crispy bread), the Cobb salad, and the Reuben! Slainte!

Service ok food decent BUT!!!!!! Portions are tiny and way over priced!!!!!!!! Sorry meaghers i work tooo hard for the money.... 16 bucks for a shepherds pie that amounted to a cup of soup... If you eat like a bird this is your place

This place rocks. Great beer selection. Best Mac & Cheese I've ever had. Friendly service. I'm just passing through, but I'm bookmarking this place for the next time I pass this way. Oh, and the Irish music got my foot a tappin.

I don't review many places. This restaraunt is my favorite. They don't stare at you if you ask for a Tewlemore Dew, or a Paddy's Bee Sting. (Genuine Irish Whiskeys that taste like honey) If you're a WV native you know what Pepperoni rolls are. If you haven't tried Meaghers ' interpretation, you must order this. It's enough for at least two people. It's not your coal miners 'stick it in your pocket for lunch' meal. It has its own shape, and sauce drizzled across the top. Since this was my very first experience with a pepperoni roll, no other has come near this mouth watering treat since. Food. Well now. I come here for the Irish fair. I had always wanted to try a Shepard Pie. This as a meal that unlike most American meals, is light and won't leave you regretting the swollen belly like so many restaurants do. Delicious, and oh so tasty, without the swollen gut. Sandwiches. My Crazy Uncle Alberts. It is indeed the creation of a crazy uncle. Or a drunk one that just grabbed what he has available and decided to call this 'lunch' Since Uncle Albert isn't my uncle, I come here to ear this bizarre yet tasty delight. Breakfast. The most important meal of the day. Get the Irish Breakfast. With a good Stout, at 8 pm. Yum. Complete with , well, I'm not going to say. If you're a breakfast any time of the day or night person, and have learned that wine and chocolate actually DO taste good together, walk on in, ask for a good strong draft Stout, and an Irish Breakfast. You'll thank them later.

Refreshing new establishment in this area. Who doesn't like a pub with great food? Chef Brian Duffy did the consulting for the menu and we had the pleasure in meeting him during their soft opening. This place takes what they are doing seriously and each week we come back there is another improvement. The pepperoni rolls, the Mac and cheese and the new Celtic fish and chips are my favorite! If you're just looking for a drink, they have a huge option in beers and every bartender (especially Mike) will make you feel right at home. Next time you're on your way to Bdubs just turn into their parking lot instead! There is a reason we come back every week... Five stars!

Have visited here twice in the past few weeks. Both times the food was delicious. The first visit the missus had a reuben and I had the sweet n spicy burger which for me was not spicy enough. The most recent visit We started with the Irish nachos which was good just wish there was more chips. I had the fish and chips and they were excellent. The missus had the pork BBQ burger. Nice selection of draft and bottled beer

Great food, great music. The only good thing about coming to WV is having dinner here!

Five of us came here for drinks, so this is a five-star review without checking out the food. I'm giving five stars because they're super friendly, allowing us to stay well after closing to hang out to watch Game 2 of the NBA Finals, and because the place is very pleasant and fun and relaxing, a fun place to talk with friends.

This isn't a bad spot to have a nice pint of Smithwicks. A friend and I had supper there the other night and we were both a little disappointed with our meals. My chicken boxty only partly resembled any other boxty that I have ever had and his macaroni and cheese left him a bit underwhelmed. On the plus side, the decor was appropriate to a strip mall pub and the wait staff were great.

Sitting is this establishment now watching the Mountaineer game. I'm really happy that Clarksburg has another quality restaurant to add to the short list of places here to get a fine meal. To top it off they have all the Irish fare I love. We have been sitting here for three quarters of the game and the staff are friendly and happy to have us take up the table for such a long time. I'm giving them five stars because a good restaurant is hard to find in these parts. So if you are a local please give them your business as I hope to see this local business thrive. And if you are looking for a good meal driving by on I79 you will find a quick on and off the highway, great Irish food and friendly people. I will keep coming back.

Delicious food, fast service, waitress was very nice. I was honestly surprised by the portion sizes. You never know what to expect when you hit up a place randomly, but the portion sizes were nice and big! Had a large sandwich (can't recall the name, but it had like every meat in it) with a side of their homemade chips. I would come back here in a heartbeat if I'm in the area again.

First time. Not our last. Nice ambiance for an Irish Pub I wish they had Irish Music playing, instead of the top 40 mix. My Reuben was D-licous!! Four others had burgers. Three of four said theirs were good (and they all had different burgers). My youngest son had a "plain" cheeseburger from the kids menu. After eating half of it, he informed us it was burnt...and indeed it was....crispy black. It never should have left the cook's line. For this reason & the long wait to be served, I say four stars. The server did a fine job our drinks were never empty. So nice to have something DIFFERENT offered when eating out in this area. We will try again.

It's nice to have different items on the menu rather than the usual Italian/Mexican/Asian. The British menu is unique to this area and I'm determined to try it all! So far everything has been very good.

This place never disappoints! My boyfriend and I have been there a handful of times and we will continue! Each time we go we try something new and each time it has been delicious. Fish and chips, bangers and mash, Meagher burger; it's all amazing. Everything is cooked to perfection and definitely full of flavor. It's refreshing to have such a unique restaurant around the area. The owners, which we met our first visit there, were extremely friendly. This restaurant had been a dream of theirs for a while and they definitely have what it takes to run a business! I honestly have nothing bad to say!

Disappointing food, strip mall atmosphere. This is about as Irish as TGI Friday's. This place could be good, but it would have to try hard to be worse. The addition of a local beer selection is a plus, but receiving what I ordered would be an even bigger one.

The bread with one of our appetizers was stale. The first beer we were served was not what we ordered. The wings were generally flavorless and dry. You've got a ton of choices on the menu, though, and the TVs are great for sports ball watching. Overall an underwhelming experience was had by all.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Beautiful bar. Excellent craft beer selection. Not necessarily a sports bar, but they have plenty of HD TV screens to watch the games strategically placed throughout the pub. I'd much rather take in a game here as opposed to the obnoxious atmosphere at Buffalo Wild Wings next door and their food completely dominates them as well. I've eaten here about 6 or 7 times and the food was always excellent and well presented. They take pride in their local and regional beer offerings and will offer you samples if you'd like. They have West Virginia brews like Mountain State(Thomas, WV) and Big Timber(Elkins, WV), among others, that I definitely recommend trying. The Big Timber Pale Ale is probably my go-to because it's flavorful without being to hoppy or floral, it's easy to drink and it goes well with most of their food offerings. I don't drink liquor much anymore, but it looks like they have a solid lineup there as well. Not your typical bar food. They have a legitimate, culinary trained chef who helped develop the menu. There are some traditional Irish items on there, a few things they put their own spin on as well as some more Americanized fare. The gourmet mac n' cheese is spectacular. Probably the best I've ever had and, like pretty much everything else here, it's completely made from scratch. The corned beef and cabbage rolls with the herbed crème fraîche on the side are an excellent appetizer in my opinion. The Popper Burger is outstanding as well. I really love this place and it's probably my favorite bar in Bridgeport. Close to the NCWV Airport, the new UHC Hospital, the FBI campus, the Charles Pointe master plan development, White Oak business park and several new hotels as well. If you're with a Big 12 team or their traveling party and you're in for the game with WVU and staying at the Wingate or elsewhere in the area and looking for a place to eat or have an adult beverage, definitely check it out.

Also they had a party recently. "Half way to St Patrick s day" they were all dressed up in green and they had a man playing bagpipes outside. Half price drinks and appetizers were awesome. They also have trivia on Wednesday nights. Also a great place to watch a game or just hang out with friends. I love this place. I think I've found a new favorite hang out!!

The atmosphere is pretty neat here but unfortunately I was not impressed at all with the food or drinks. The wings were $10 and only came with 8 wings (all flats) and the crown and coke was just a glass of coke. Being an Irish pub you would expect a great fish and chips. Well, they were very bland. Everything was very expensive. Sorry but we won't be back.

We sat at our table for over 20 minutes without ever being waited on. At least 4 waitresses walked past us without any acknowledgement. We obviously left.

Good food, pleasant bartenders, decent decor and a great beer selection made this a nightly spot during my work trips to Bridgeport. I didn't try any of the Irish food (not a fan of Irish food), but their sandwiches and all of the other items I tried were great. They have an interesting take on the WV Classic Pepperoni roll as well.
