Karen made us the most beautiful and delicious wedding cakes! Our consultation was fun (and delicious!), and she was open to our ideas while helping us make sure our ideas were doable. She made a cake that looked exactly like an inspiration photo I found online, as well as a sheet cake (each slice monogrammed with our initials) that was also just lovely. She even had us drop off a few of our flowers in advance and decorated our cake with them. She delivered on time and was a dream to work with. I would recommend the SweetSpot in a heartbeat. (When I asked my stepson if he thinks the wedding cake earned five stars, he said the cake earned 20 stars!)

Nicely renovated space. Very clean. Service was very good. Sweet were very good. The brownie was too much frosting not enough brownie...

Very good food. The two star review reflects how they reacted when a large group of customers walked in. It was Saturday morning and I was with a group of 7 to try this little bakery. Being saturday morning it was also very busy in the drive-thru. Because of this the staff seemed to become very short with everyone in my large group. They made it seem like we shouldn't be there and ordering was a huge inconvenience to them. Besides that food was amazing.

We stopped in for lunch while on vacation and had excellent sandwiches and amazing coffee. It was really hard to choose what pastries we wanted for dessert but we managed and weren't disappointed. We'll be back here next time we're in the area!!

I was in town for business and stopped in for a quick lunch. Great food, great service and the pastries look amazing! I will definitely be back!!

Stopped here on my way out of town during a quick visit to Whitewater. Grabbed a latte with a strawberry lemon scone (delicious, fresh, not TOO sweet) and a cupcake to deliver to a friend. The baked goods were very reasonably priced and they even gave me a tiny to-go box for the cupcake so it wouldn't shift on my drive. Very happy with this spot & would love to go back!

Great coffee and tea shop downtown. Excellent bagels and panini's and friendly staff.

Great coffee, great baked goods, and great service. Only issues have been in quality here and there (wilted lettuce and apple slices that still had the produce sticker on it was the worst offense). However, as much as I go there I can't take a star away from what is consistently a great experience. Also a great atmosphere to hang out, although I usually get my stuff to go. Seriously, the baked goodies will knock your socks off. Cupcake of the month is always my go-to choice.

Exactly what Whitewater has needed for forever! The best place in town to get a coffee drink (sorry there are no Starbucks anywhere around). Good sandwich selection. The bakery is hit or miss. Some items are good, like the muffins, but I have not been impressed with the cupcakes I've tried so far. I'd also like to see a larger selection of bakery items, they seem to have pretty much the same things over an over. They make some adorable cakes and cupcakes that look like dogs, very cute!

The Sweet Spot is my favorite place in Whitewater hands down! Everything I have tried on their menu has been delicious and I've tried a lot. The health nut sandwich is definitely my favorite. They have amazing sandwiches, soups, and salads as well as amazing cupcakes, pastries, and coffee drinks. The atmosphere is great and very welcoming. I highly recommend making a stop here if you find yourself in Whitewater.

The Sweet Spot is everything you ever wanted in a cafe. Great food, phenomenal baked goods, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Sweet Spot is a nice alternative to Jessica's or Whitewater Restaurant (formerly Novak's). It does have a laid back cafe feel to it, especially in the back room. A nice array of bakery but with limited breakfast options. The bagel breakfast sandwich with sausage isn't overwhelming, but filling. A bottomless cup of coffee for $2.50 can't be beat. Friendly service and a nice place to kick back and read a book.

I had to get off the highway for gas, and while there I asked someone where to get coffee in town. He suggested this place, and it was splendid! There was a tempting array of sweets (I chose a lemon tart), and the Ancora coffee from a Madison roaster was mellow and smooth. As I sat on the front porch with my dog on my lap, felt like I had landed in Mayberry. I chatted with an art prof from UWW, and a nice lady bought my dog one of their canine cupcakes. A lovely respite!

Love the SweetSpot. The coffee, food, baked goods, and atmosphere are all excellent. The only problem is sometimes getting a table since the secret is out! The addition of the second location for coffee and baked good on the other side of town was a great choice! I love the monthly cupcakes! Absolutely Smashing!!

I have never found anything wrong with The SweetSpot! I love this place so much! The menu has a variety of food to choose from, the variety of desserts and drinks is great too. Everything is absolutely delicious and fresh. If I could afford to, I would eat here every day. My favorite things to order are the BLT wrap, a red velvet cupcake, and a vanilla iced latte!

First time for me. Worth the stop. Great baked goods, coffee and atmosphere.

The Sweet Spot is the perfect small town cafe. It has such an inviting atmosphere that you feel right at home. The coffee isn't overpriced and they have everything from baked goods to meals to amazing decorative cakes! I go here just to study or to meet with people. I definitely recommend going here.

Great place for coffee break or quiet lunch with friends. Wonderful baked goods and lunch menu foods.

I can not say enough about the cupcake I ate today. Everything about Sweet Spot is beyond expectation. The place is cozy, yet trendy, and really makes you feel like you are in a coffee house in Portland or Seattle. The staff is friendly and you can tell the people in there are regulars, and I can see why. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my daughter loved her latte and I fell in love with the London Fog which is like foamy Earl Grey awesome creation! My daughter and I each had a cupcake. I had the maple bacon, which was perfect in every way and my daughter had a chai cupcake that she also loved. These are not just passable cupcakes, these are like "drive an hour just to try" cupcakes. I love how they have pitchers of water for guests to help themselves with because things like that warm a place up for me and make me feel wanted. I personally wanted to try everything I saw so I'm sure I'll go back. I feel so happy when a place like this finds its way into a small city. Southern Wisconsin is not exactly a culinary hot spot, so I hope the people of Whitewater realize what a gem they have!

I have never, never had a bad meal or coffee at this place. It's clear that everything that is made here, is made with Love. The staff is fun and look great! I have even had parties there, the food was amazing!

  • Rajen P.

Great place for frozen blended coffee drinks or smoothies and light meals. My personal favorite drink is the Hazelnut/Caramel flavor blended coffee. The salads are good most of the time, if it is not the baristas are kind enough to say not to order it. The panini sandwiches are good. The desserts have ranged from awesome to ho-hum. Not sure if they are good the first few days after they are made and later become not so tasty. I tend to take recommendations from the staff and if I like it, re-order. I tend to notice some of the inconsistencies of the staff, generally newer staff seem to need more training. Overall it is a nice place near the lake in Whitewater and for art lovers, it has a small gallery nestled in back.

Everything I could want in a coffee shop. Relaxed atmosphere, nice menu with reasonable prices, comfy seating. When we were in on a Sturday afternoon, they had some great acoustic musical performances too. After I'd finished my coffee, I was even able to enjoy a very nice bottle of stout. Next time we're back in Whitewater, we'll definitely pay another visit.
