The best pizza in the Wausau area, lots of fun toppings - Mac & Cheese is my favorite Has the nice small town feel in the middle of Wausau's downtown. Can't beat the great price for meals.

Food: Super fresh. Staff: Friendly. Atmosphere: Comfortable and spacious. Cleanliness: Incredibly clean. Price: Affordable. I paid a solid 4.75 for a slice and drink. You enter and approach the counter with your choice of over ten pizzas made fresh by-the-slice picks. I settled for a Philly cheese steak slice with jalepenos. They popped it in the oven handed me my drink paid for my order and it was finished. Premade pizzas just need a kick in the oven. And the taste is out of this world. I was so happy to find a place in Wisconsin that serves sweet tea. What is a pizza joint with out a few arcade machines in the back. They have them too. Music playing in the restaraunt is comfortable contemporary that you probably wouldn't recognize. I highly recommend this place. Affordable, quick and tasty.

Pizza is hard to do wrong, but doing it just right seems to be an art form. Polito's Pizza does a fine job. Smack downtown with limited parking, the atmosphere is hip and lively with all types coming in for bit to eat. Large windows let the sun in, brick walls give it that trendy loft look, and fast moving pizza people behind the counter usher us all along. Three of us ate for 20 Dollars each with drinks and two slices, which was hard to beat. Food was good, exceeding my expectations for what I would have expected this far north. I would definitely go back on my next visit. Parking is limited, so be ready for a walk from around the corner or up the road. Wausau is a small city so even on the worst of days, parking can only get so bad. Eat, enjoy, be merry!

Very good ! I had to go over to get dinner since what I ordered at Jalapeños was so disgusting I left it there . I did not regret grabbing a slice eat in my room ! It was very good but and the staff is super nice very good about recommending what's " the slice " I will eat here again before I leave town for sure

The pizza is great, it's best when you go during lunch or dinner because then they go through the pizzas much quicker so you're much more likely to get a piece right out of the oven Even if you don't get it fresh, the pizza is still excellent They have toppings like steak and fries, spinach and feta cheese, nacho (cheese sauce, chips, tomatoes, etc) They also have the "normal" toppings which are also very good

Staying in a hotel and read the great reviews of this place on Yelp. Unfortunately they do not deliver and I had some work to catch up on so I used "Wausau to Go" and got a pizza delivered. It was excellent. Imagine how good it would have been if it was fresh and not delivered! Reminds me of the slices that you can buy in NY. I will be stopping in to try the stuff "right out of the oven" soon!

Very good! I had the spinach/feta and would get this again. Tasted the mac'n cheese also, which was kind of over the top, but really good as well. My 16-yr-old nephews loved it!

I had the Italian Beef sandwich with Brew City fries. The sandwich was delicious. Lots of beef and you can get it wet or dry. The even offer extra au jus if you like it very wet like I do. The fries were good, but I would like to see them use fresh cut potato fries instead of frozen prepackaged. You should see the pizza slices, they are huge!

The specialty pizzas: Mac n Cheese and Steak Fry pizza slices are great. Depending on the day, the pizza is over the top great or just average. The garlic knots are amazing as well. Overall, great place for a quick bite.

Yum. My darling husband and I strolled in here for lunch today and were both very impressed! The place was quite packed just after noon but people were in and out quickly - tables opened up at a nice pace. I loved how many slice options they had and very much recommend both the supreme and bbq chicken pizza! The reheated slices were great, so I can only imagine how delicious an entire pizza will be. We absolutely look forward to coming back!

Very happy they opened one up in Schofield. Their spicy garlic wings are the best wings I've had since moving here. Italian beef Sammie with hot peppers is really good as well. It's no ALS Beef, but does the job when I need an Italian beef fix. Garlic knots are something different and also really good. Definitely more there than just great pizza!

I'm surprised that no one has written a review. They have a very nice variety of pizzas. This is a cool place to stop in when you are in downtown Wausau. Buy one or two slices and enjoy. My wife and I stopped in to pick up some slices to take with us to a couple of the concerts they had last summer at the 400 Block. Ah, summer! It seems so far away right now. But I digress. My favorite slice so far is the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. The Florentine is excellent also. If I remember correctly it's about $3./slice. I have sampled pizza quite a few places in the Wausau area over the years. Polito's is certainly #1 in terms of variety. I rate it #2 overall in taste/quality.

One of my favorites! I love that they have Hawaiian pizza with BBQ sauce...YUM! I have enjoyed every different kind of pizza I tried. My only complaint is the location, they need to out another one in Wausau that is easier to get to and has more available parking!

Polito's Pizza is awesome. If you've had Ian's Pizza in Madison than you know what to expect at Polito's. Think mac & cheese pizza and steak & fries pizza. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. Most importantly is that the pizza is delicious. If you can't make it to the Wassau location, you can always get your fix at the Steven's Point location. I highly recommend Polito's. Check it out for yourself.

By far my fav pizza place in Wausau!!! LOVE!!! Their pizza!! Lots of different specialty pizzas to choose from & of course the classics. Never had a slice I didn't like!! Their pizzas remind me of the pizzas out on the east coast. Can get super packed. Especially on Friday/Saturday nights!!
