I wrote a poor review of the place and now I see that the review has been removed. How does that happen? How reliable are the reviews? Does Yelp get paid to remove the unfavorable reviews? Bad food. I have to give a star just for this to post. I really mean a no star.

What a great find for dinner and drinks on the road up north. Great menu and beer selection, super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Try the bourbon beer and the shepherds pie, you won't be disappointed!

Had fish fry. Great food. Enjoyed a Red breast at the bar after. Think they may have the only bottle in all of waupaca county

I come to Waupaca once a year, I had not found good food here since the Italian place closed. The experience here was great except for the large group of loud swearing drunks in the corner. Our waitress, Caitlynn, was amazing, and actually got them to quiet down a bit. We also got complimentary dessert because of them. I read another review about the hamburger and he was right, it was quite the work of art. I love hamburgers that have that sirloin taste. My mother had the salmon, a genuine portion instead of the usual flat tiny piece you get elsewhere. Cooked perfectly. My wife had the filet, very tender. The chef here may be too cautious about overlooking the steak, the medium request was medium rare, but she liked it anyway. Delicious desserts, especially the cheesecakes. Caitlynn knows all the beers and recommended a great one to go with the hamburger. I'll be back next August.

We love this restaurant. In fact, when it came time to planning our wedding, we asked them if they could do the food. Thankfully, they said yes. In short, I have never heard people rave about a wedding dinner so much. I am still getting compliments weeks after the wedding. Ribs, pulled pork, citrus chicken......all done at a venue with no kitchen. It was an amazing meal. They went the extra mile for us and everyone loved it. All the more reason to head on down for a good meal, with great beer, in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The people here are great. Special thanks to Caitlin and her team. Thanks for everything. See you soon. A&E

TDub's Public House gets an excellent rating from us. Stopped here for dinner & food was really good. Didn't get to try the microbrews as we were driving right after leaving there. A big plus was the outdoor patio - it's situated at the rear of the building, right across from a park & river, so it's quiet & peaceful, unlike many restaurant's outdoor seating areas. Staff was friendly & prompt. Wonderful place - I look forward to going back!

In the area for the past 2 weeks. Found this place by accident. Great find. DW and I ate there a week ago. We had steaks, both done perfectly. Could have used a bit more seasoning (some garlic & pepper, pinch salt for our tastes, but that is very minor.). Salads are fresh and great. Sides are fantastic. My son and his girl friend visited and I took them to T-Dubs. Very friendly staff. Excellent drink menu. Had the fish fry which was outstanding. Awesome stuffed mushrooms and spinach dip appetizers. If you are in the area this place is a must. It is a 3 hour drive each way for me, but I would consider it. Dinner for 3 ~$30 per person.

Good atmosphere but food wasn't great. Sausage was too lean (too dry) and the fish and chips were pretty bad. Very greasy fish, and the chips (Irish fries) has a terrible coating. Hopefully their other good is good, since the owner and staff were very welcoming.

For us this is a destination stop that is well worth the drive. Unique setting! Great food and spirits! Owners will come around and check in on you. Service is fast and friendly. We recently had the Fish Fry and a Half-Rack of Ribs and they were delicious. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

We have eaten at TW's a number of times and the food has been good. We had not been there for a number of months and decided to try again. I ordered the Irish Sauce Salmon, and it was incredibly salty. Almost in edible. And the potatoes were saturated in butter and salt, so much so that it was hard to tell that I was eating potatoes. My wife ordered a garden salad and the veggies were old and dried out, like having sat in an open bowl in the frig for a couple of days, not what one would expect for a $10 salad. $42 later, and while the wait staff was wonderful and the beer excellent, we were very disappointed and probably will not return. Too bad.

Amazing atmosphere and food. The Guinness beef stew was hearty and delicious...I think I could survive on that stew all winter. I just might have to move to Waupaca and make T.W. Martens my second home. The pub is cozy and welcoming in an upscale casual way and is full of friendly people (many who seem to be regulars). The menu has a good selection of food and beer...great for the lone traveler or a group of friends.

Fish and chips are more like fish disks with fries. Their pints are more like schooners. When I asked for a full size pint, instead of this feminine sized schooner, I was told "Sorry dear, we only have one sized pint, and you're looking at it." But... it... is... not even a pint. Service was ok. I don't know Locals rave about the place. I guess us out of towners have our bars set to a different level... pun intended.

One of the best pubs town offering an upscale menu with a good selection of beer. Decor is warm, inviting and making good use of the basement architecture. Too bad they aren't open during lunch hours.

The food is way better than anything you can expect to find in Waupaca. They have a great selection of microbrews to boot. Bartender James always ensures a great time!

Amazing food it's my new favorite place in Waupaca bar and atmosphere is also great. Good place to take a date!

Very friendly staff, but the kitchen is letting them down. Do not know why it is describing itself as an Irish bar as it appears tp be having a bit of an identity crisis. The Swedish meatballs were okay but the gravy was thick and tasteless. Mussels did not taste freshly cooked - very rubbery. My pasta was good. We ate outside because the local (obviously long tolerated) drunk would not leave us alone in the bar area. Lots of great potential for this non Irish pub with its great location.

The best place for a nice dinner in Waupaca. Good selection of beer on tap, and a unique menu with tasty choices. My favorite is the Chicken Visuvio, but the mussels are a close second. Owners are very friendly and add to the quaintness. Good selection of brews on tap.

Nice place. Only open dinner hours. Perhaps a little overpriced.

I've been here a few times and have not had a bad experience. The service is great and the food is very tasty. We still have to try more of the microbrews, but so far, so good. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting an upscale pub experience with good food. I found it odd that they are closed on Sundays, but, keep that in mind if you are looking for a place to watch Packer football.

Great location in a historic building with lots of character. I enjoyed the BBQ pork sandwich I had along with a local microbrewery IPA. Two of my table mates raved about the pecan crusted walleye to the point that the waitress had the chef come to our table to talk to them about the recipe.

The best that Waupaca has to offer when it comes to great food and excellent service!! The atmosphere at T-dubs is perfect for dining with your partner, entertaining friends or a place to meet new friends...
