Mama Mia's has great thin-crust pizza. I also like their lasagna, but I request half the cheese, otherwise it is way too heavy. More than the food, though, I enjoy their martinis. My favorite, the mango martini, has fresh pureed mango without being super sweet. The host table has been rude and flaky in the past, but I can get past that.

Pizza is overpriced for what you get, other local pizza places have better pizza and lower prices.

Classic Italian pizza/spaghetti fare. Food is very good and consistent. Dining room is stylish and comfortable. Bar has become something of a neighborhood hotspot. Carry out is efficient. Portions are good sized and prices are quite reasonable. Great utility restaurant ...excellent quick alternative to cooking at home.

Can't go wrong with any pizza. Thin and crispy crust. Get the salad with house dressing (vinegarette) comes with their famous garlic bread made with 1/4 lb of butter! Small selection of wine. I wish the had more of a selection.

Pizza Pro's = Crispy crust, good sausage, ok sauce. Con's = Canned mushrooms, canned pineapple, way overpriced for its size, $18. Spring Salad Pro's = It came in a reusable aluminum box. Con's = Gross, Craizans are not Itallian, cheap iceburg lettuce, Raging Rip-Off for $9.25 Lazagna Pro's = Decent flavor, Large portion. Con's = I watched them microwave it, then brown the top in the broiler.... Overall, 1 1/2 stars because I genuinely feel ripped off from the Quality vs. Cost. Decrease the cost or Improve the ingredients and the stars shoot up.

I was pretty excited to see this place offered a white pizza. I prefer no red sauce. We ordered, to go, the Pizza of the Gods. It had olive oil and garlic, mozzarella, provolone, fresh tomato, artichoke hearts, fresh basil. The pizza was overloaded on cheese, which to me, defeated the whole point of the olive oil and garlic. It just was too much. The basil could have been bumped up more too. However, for the burbs, not bad. I just can't seem to find outstanding pizza in the burbs. Also, pretty expensive.

I sent an email to the manager and she was very quick to inform me that the manager on duty was, as I suspected, wrong about their policy on refunds. She is sending a refund promptly.

Hands down best hand-tossed pizza in the area. The pizza was reasonably priced and good portions. They have several specialty pizzas and you can also "build your own." we ordered two pizzas and they came fairly quickly. The toppings were fresh and delicious. Additionally, the offer a wide variety of beer (on tap and in the bottle) and mixed drinks. The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. The food arrived quickly and the drinks were cold. The outside of the restaurant is not indicative of the inside. It has a great atmosphere and there is plenty of room for larger parties. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to anyone in the area.

What happened?!!! We had been here twice a number of years ago. We were in the mood for lasagne and so decided to stop for dinner. The ambiance is cozy and there is a fireplace in the center of the dining area. We ordered an Italian salad for two, with garlic bread and lasagne for the main entree. Husband had a bloody mary which was very good. I asked for bottled sparkling water (San Pelligrino), but the server had no idea what it was or if they had any. She checked and said there was no bottled sparkling water whatsoever. The Italian salad was drenched in an average-tasting oil. There were a few pieces of cheese and pepperoni on there with a few grape tomatoes. The garlic bread we used to love, ended up being oily and extremely salty. In fact, I think there was mostly garlic salt and oil or margarine, didn't even taste like butter at all. At home we use organic butter and real garlic for our garlic bread - so this substandard version was pitiful. The lasagne had an off-taste and it was tough and rubbery. We have decided we make a better lasagne and garlic bread at home, and if we do go out again, then it will be a better quality restaurant instead of this one. Never will return.

We go here for certain items. Pizza, lasagna and garlic bread. Cult following good. Disappointments are the salad. Not as good as at other "Mias" past associated with them. I don't like that the cheese on the salad is from the pizza toppings pile. I'd rather have slices of mozzarella. Other wise we have enjoyed our meal each time we've visited.

Good service, a little hidden in Wales. You may easily drive past it. Deceptive, looks like a small place from the outside, it isn't. Food was good, service was fast. No Wi fi. Price fair: about $30 for 2.

This place is an embarrassment. - Had pop/R&B music playing - didn't realize Ariana Grande, Usher and Jason Derulo were Italian! Seriously just play classical music or Rat Pack music would be more appropriate. - No Italian wine on the menu. Um, seriously? We had a bottle of South African wine. It was average. - Their "Famous Garlic Bread" was dreadful. Hard as a rock (couldn't cut it with a knife), greasy and tasteless. Seriously hard like a brick. - The salad was less than ok - old lettuce and a very oily tasteless dressing. - The pasta must have been microwaved, it was NOT fresh. Could have gotten better sauce out of a jar. Ugh. - Eggplant Parmesan was soggy and tasteless. It had been placed under the broiler to melt the thick layer of cheese and the broiler caused much of the overcooked pasta to be hard and crispy. - Service was lackluster. Brought the appetizer to share but no plates. She was quick and abrupt and nonexistent at the end of the meal. Took a while to pay the bill. - Thin paper napkins (1 per person which was WAY under budgeted considering how greasy their food is), cheap plastic diner glasses for soft drinks and water and cheap silverware. Some simple cloth napkins and regular glassware would go a long way. - Had our 3 year old with us and ordered her dinner when we ordered our drinks (as usual) to keep her occupied so as not to disturb other diners. Waitress didn't bring her dinner until she brought ours. It's really sad that this is the only sit-down restaurant in the area and it's this bad. We live down the street and will not be going back. Save your money.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
