LOVE LOVE LOVE Silver Birch! A must visit whenever we are in Tomahawk. The place is always packed on Saturday so come in and grab a drink at the bar while you wait. The wait is definitely worth it! Well priced meals with a ton of food! I love the bacon wrapped feta stuffed filet! Any meal there is fabulous!

I'm actually basing my review on the 1980's when we ate here frequently. I have now moved back and will be returning soon, looking forward to it. My only complaint in the 80's was the smoke, I had to finally stop going because the atmosphere was too smoky. But now smoking in restaurants is outlawed, looking forward to returning.

We had a wonderful dinner! The special was Fresh salmon with feta over a bed of sauteed spinach. Mmmmmmmmm I suggest you try the smokey bacon cheese curds as well. Drinks and service were great!

Dinner was wonderful. I had the best coconut shrimp. The atmosphere was wonderful and beautiful to sit out on the deck. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I plan to return.

Every time I go up to Tomahawk the Silver Birch is a must! Chris the owner is a wonderful woman that makes every guest feel so welcomed. The food is tasty. Must have the Friday fish fry and the clam chowder is awesome. It is packed on Friday nights but well worth the wait!

Very good Supper Club, it's a bit smaller than most but there's also a patio for waiting and the bartenders make a good drink. Wine list is maybe a bit above average for the Northwoods (still not saying much) and the food is very good if rarely outstanding. They occasionally have seasonal specials but many specials appear to just be whatever the kitchen wanted to cook that day. Also be aware that the portions are large and the food is not quite as good as Bootlegger's but The Silver Birch is an excellent choice for dinner if you're in the Tomahawk area.

I would put 4 star... But chicken sandwich was dry, over cooked. Service - slow but only one waitress on what seemed a pretty busy night. Other food ordered was another chicken sandwich... Which was dry and ribs which were awesome!!! Boy a single piece of meat was left on bone because it just so moist. Runs could have had more BBQ taste but that's what I'll get next time!!
