Really liked this place. The salads are huge and delicious. Gyros and souvlaki are great too.
Great food. Prices are moderate for the local Greek biz in the neighborhood.
Each time here I left happy! Great food, great service, great choices. This is a can't miss choice

How pleasantly surprised I was to find this old school greasy spoon ( and I say that as a compliment). This is the kind of place I remember fondly from my youth in NJ. No pretension, no gimmicks, just honest food done well. I had one of the specials - an omelet with cilantro, chorizo, green and red peppers and onions. It was perfect. Perhaps my favorite part about my breakfast was the hash brown potatoes. At many places like this, they are soggy and undercooked. Not only were they spiced well, but they were crispy as well. That's no joke with breakfast potatoes! In any case, I've been back twice in a week and a half, and plan on returning often. Don't let the exterior or decor fool you; they make good food in that tiny building.
My husband and I stopped in here on a freezing Sunday morning. It's a small place, but doesn't seem too crowded. We had eggs benedict, and it was VERY good. Prices they charged were more than reasonable for the quality of food, and the waitstaff was super nice. As people who drink coffee black, it's very hard to find small places like this that you need no cream or sugar to make the coffee palatable, and luckily this was one such place. So really, nice atmosphere, good food, nice waitstaff, don't even bother going anywhere else for breakfast.
I've been here many times. This place is the quintessential home town diner. Everything is always great every time, period. It was always fine but the since the new owner took over, clearly better. The old owner was, well, basically, a jerk. I don't know what his deal was, but it wasn't a good deal. The new owner has a great, friendly personality and the food seems better somehow. Everyone should experience a classic American diner-and this is IT. My favorite is the half order of sausage & biscuits. The full order is MASSIvE! Ladies take notice of Ken-he seems shy but...

Food was delicious. I had the BBQ club. It had flavor and was presented nicely on the plate. I also had a hazelnut latte. Yum! The espresso was poured well. This is probably my favorite place to get coffee in the area!
Sometimes I am forced to grab breakfast quickly in the morning, but feel really yucky going to fast food chains with their processed, bulk ordered muffins and processed cheeses. I've even witnessed the preparation of a Starbucks sandwich, merely involving unwrapping a premade sandwich from corporate headquarters and plopping it into the microwave. Yuck. What's Brewin' changes all of that. They take your custom order at the window and fry you up your sandwich to order. Yes, they do use premade egg patties for their breakfast sandwich, but the freshness and quality of the other ingredients is apparent from the first bite. They even offer a veggie sausage option, which I gladly added to my order. Yes, it took a moment or so for my sandwich to be made, but it was worth it. It gave my dogs a chance to nosh on their complimentary dog treats in the back seat. Overall, I will keep supporting this local non-chain breakfast place because of the convenience of their drive through and superiority in freshness and flavor compared to any of the other Mc-food places available in Sun Prairie. I also failed to mention the friendly service I got throughout. To me, that is Mc-priceless.
Comfortable, warm, cozy. I have been there two times, as it is close to work for me. The cordon bleu panini was good, but drippy sauce -- not necessarily a bad thing but watch your clothes. Last time I had a sesame ginger chicken wrap -- very crunchy with veggies and tasty. I do really like the water setup -- you get your own from a large carafe. Very eco-conscious. Both times I've been there, though, I had to weigh carefully to eat in or go -- because of the running around, screeching KIDS!! Just be forewarned.

Food was very good and we had excellent service. Poutine, cheese curds, and avocado hummus were all excellent. Pork sandwich was also very good.
We have been here twice now. First time we ordered wings, they was ok. Grilled cheese with apples were ok Cheeseburger was ok but small for the price. Service was great!! Second time Service was good, wish the waitress would have asked if we wanted anything else or another drink both our bottles were empty. She just handed us our bill. Food :grilled mac and cheese,it was good,it was nice it wasn't just Kraft Mac and cheese. Nothing was special about it, it had franks. It needs something else. We got sweet potato fries the were good, wish they had sea salt on them. I ordered the fish fry. I got beer battered, lots of beer flavoring. The breading is good. I didn't care for the paper under it cause every time I cut ,a piece of paper came with it from the grease soaking it up. The fries were ok. The dinner roll was good ,I would like it to be warm though. We loved the outside patio. Wish they had lunch special's,and a drink menu. We will be back. Love that the owner comes to check on you!!
We tried the Shredded Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, which was quite delicious. It was enough to feed two, and was a good value. We even had a few slices leftover. I believe they have a deal on the flatbread pizzas where you can get 2 or $20, which is a bargain. We tried a couple beers, and the prices were about what you'd pay in Madison. Not bad. Prices did seem a notch high on burgers, but they are stuffed with cheese, and come with fries. The prices aren't bad, so I'm not sure what some others are complaining about. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet. Given the small indoor space, I can imagine it could get a little noisy. The outdoor space looked very nice, though. The staff was nice, if not a little slow. My Moscow Mule was perhaps a little weak. Overall, I liked this place. I'll go back.

We both ordered one of the chef's three course specials for $24. Both 12 oz Ribeyes. Mine is French Onion Soup, Brussel Sprouts and Sweet Potato Fries. Hubs ordered Seafood Chowder, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and grilled Mushrooms with Onions. Dessert is included and not even thinking about it yet! Lots of food. I'm taking home more than half my entree! I had to save room for 6 bites of rich and creamy Creme Brûlée. We will be back!
We love dining here and our son loves live music nights. We wanted to take advantage of their date night special and made a reservation for Thursday night after confirming with the restaurant that it was on Thursday. I called the restaurant about 45 minutes before our reservation to see if they could accommodate us a little earlier since we had gotten our kids ready to go in record time. Matt (Restaurant Manager) answered the phone and I am glad he did because he made the effort to confirm with me that we were interested in the date night special. I panicked for about 10 seconds, but he made a quick judgement call and guaranteed that we would be true advocates (more so than we already were!) for Buck and Honey's. We arrived and were taken to our table within minutes which was exactly what we needed, both Matt and his boss came by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and offered assistance if we needed anything that night. Truly exemplary service all around and was continued by Carrin, our server. She had a great connection with our two children and made sure we weren't left wanting for anything. We chose to forgo the usual Date Night wine list and opted for a bottle of the Chateau Ste. Michelle Reisling, which my fiance enjoyed more than me and I ordered a Barenjager Lemonade. She ordered the Stuffed Chicken Breast and I chose the Pot Roast. Both made perfectly and very satisfying. When it came time to pay the bill, I had no qualms about tipping heavily and we look forward to visiting again soon!
We have been trying to get to this place for the past year or so after hearing everyone rave about it. So finally on a Monday... not a tuesday... a little joke for you younger readers... we got here! Let me tell you it was worth the wait. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly when it came to answering questions about the place and reccomendations on thier menu. Great drinks and beer selection for you beer snobs. Lots of wine choices for the ladies to choose from as well. Nice big place that was very clean. Nice ambiance. And now for the main event what we are all waiting to hear about. Drum roll please.... FOOD The food was excellent. We went with a group of 6 and everyone was impressed. I had the 14 oz Ribeye cooked perfectly. The Mrs. had Chicken Parmesan which our talented waitress recommended. Kudos for that, tip just went up. Ribs were killer and on and on. Did I forget to mention desert. Oh my. Just go try for yourself and you'll see what everyone and now myself is talking about. Well done B&H keep up the great work. Nice to have a place like that in the area.

We are huge fans of the one in the Dells, so we were in Madison and drove 15 miles out of the way to get here. I had the Taco Mac and Cheese. My wife got the ol' standby, Jalapeño Popper. This is just as amazing as the one in the Dells, in a small strip mall. They honor the MACs card (Buy 10, get 1 free). This is some of the most amazing Mac and cheese I've ever had and now that I live in Florida, I miss it like crazy! Bring a MACs to the Orlando area please!
A craving for Mac & Cheese combined with jet lag and moving apartments, led us to MACS last Saturday. This wasn't our first encounter with MACS. On my first visit, I ordered the regular Chipotle Mac & Cheese. On this particular visit, I ordered the Buffalo Mac and ordered it in the Mac Daddy size. The portion size on the Mac Daddy is huge. I was thinking ahead and planning for leftovers. However, we saw a couple sharing one of these which is probably a smart idea given the caloric intake. I like my food spicy, but haven't found a good option at MACS. I might try the Jalepeno option on the next visit. But, besides that I was a fan of the Buffalo Mac over the Chipotle. Ordering is always quick and easy. For fast food and considering it is mac and cheese, it is pricey when you add in drinks. But, it beats buying all the ingredients on your own only to make a sub par in comparison mac and cheese dish. They also have outdoor seating here which is nice in the summer. Overall, MACS is a great place to fulfill that craving for a cheesy dish. I'm sure we will be back.
That's a fascinating amount of carbohydrates I just ingested. It's hard to screw up Mac and Cheese, but Macs tries its best. Mac and cheese is cheap, so in order to get the most from you, they overcharge you. Then, they slop a pile of their brand of glop onto a clever skillet tray, cover it with some toppings to disguise the fact that it's basically been sitting out for hours waiting for someone to order it, and then run it through a salamander to heat it up. The end result is acceptable, but it ain't great. I'll probably go back, but not too often.

I love this place. I agree with the 2 previous reviews on food, price, atmosphere, I could see some of Heather's silly description really happening. Not the healthiest place to eat, with low fiber bread, etc. Good oldfashion greasy spoon that really cares about their customers. No modern smoke and mirrors here.
Good food, decent waitstaff. Only downside is the fact that one of them was a drug dealer, that had been arrested in the sun prairie highschool parking lot and two addicts who I watched get escorted out of the school into a police car by several officers while visiting to talk to a principle.
I live in Colorado and was returning home to Wisconsin for a wedding. So happy to find this amazing little diner off of Highway 151. A hardy old-fashioned breakfast with real food and friendly service

Love this place! They have an excellent general tso's chicken. I always ask for the steamed chicken. Seems healthier. But still very delish. Going to try the frog legs tonight. :)
It's your typical Chinese food joint. It's not the best, but better than other take out places. The place is a little run down and need major remodeling, but the food is okay. My husband loves the butterfly shrimp, it's a weird combination but it is good. I typically order spicy garlic shrimp with the mixed veggies.
I was so excited to order from here, due to the (mostly) positive reviews. Boy, was I disappointed! First of all, we ordered for delivery tonight, on New Year's Eve. Hey, I get it; NYE is a busy holiday for restaurants, so it's not like I expect a 30 minute delivery time. But when an hour and a half passed without our food, we called to check in. They told us, "Sorry, we only have one delivery driver for more than 30 orders." Um... ok? Why, when you know it's a holiday, would you not staff more drivers? So that was ridiculous right off the bat. Then, our food arrived (about an hour and 45 minutes after we ordered), and I would have forgiven the long wait had the food been amazing (or even good!). Sadly, this was not the case. I ordered the children's chicken fried rice for my kids, and I was honestly scared to give it to them when I opened the container and saw the cold, gray, limp chicken lying within the rice. My kids tried it and promptly spit it out. My order (the cashew chicken) was limp and spongy; the only slightly passable thing we ordered was the General Tso's chicken. Although even that, while it had excellent flavor on the breading and sauce, provided way more gristle than I expect to ingest when eating from a restaurant. So we may (if all other options are exhausted) give it another try, because hey, maybe it was just a fluke bad experience because of New Year's Eve. But I highly doubt we'll make our way there any time soon. I'd rather just get Chinese takeout from Imperial Garden on the east side of Madison; it's about the same distance from us as Panda Garden, and it's ten times better.

My husband and I went late hungry for pizza. They were open. The pizza was out of this world. So tasty , plenty variety of choices. The service was great. And we found out they will deliver to us in a different town. Now who does that and deliver any time. I'm thinking football season.
After a long day on the road, I needed to feed my pack of ravenous children and fast. I'll admit - I did not have the highest expectations as I journeyed to Sun Prairie to pick up a pair of pizzas with my restaurant.com certificate clenched tightly in my fist. But you know what; those Falbo Bros. pizzas I picked up were actually pretty decent. While they were not at the exalted Salvatore's or Grampa's level of greatness, but they provided an enormously satisfying pizza feed for the kiddos and myself. The ordering process went smoothly - I placed my order over the phone and the person call repeated my order to confirm they had the right order. She also applied some discounts to my order, even though I did not have any coupon codes. The tiny strip mall storefront is not well marked - I drove right by it initially. This is definitely more of a carryout / delivery operation with only four small tables inside the restaurant and not much in the way of dining ambiance. However, the interior appeared clean and well maintained. As I paid for my order, the cashier asked if I this was my first visit (it was) and gave me a $5 coupon for my next online order. I was ready to tear into the pizzas after enjoying the fragrance of freshly baked dough and fresh tomato sauce during the short drive back to Waunakee. When I popped open the boxes, the 12" cheese pizza certainly passed the eye test. The cheese topping extended almost the edge of the pizza and the crust had that wonderful brown leopard spotting. The crust had a satisfying chew - I believe Falbo Bros Pizza uses a fair amount of olive oil in their dough recipe to give it a degree of richness. What it did not have was any sweetness, so they did not use sugar to speed up the fermentation process. The well-seasoned sauce tasted homemade - it had brightness that most canned sauces do no have. They spread the sauce evenly over the top of pizza, creating a robust punch of tomato flavor to balance out the crust and toppings. The cheese passed the stringiness and flavor tests and was browned to tasty perfection. The crust on the other pizza (a 14" pie with half pepperoni and half feta cheese and roasted red peppers) was a touch undercooked. I cannot believe how much feta they applied. All that wet cheese probably contributed to the underdone crust. After applying my $10 restaurant.com certificate, I ended up paying $18, not too bad costing the quality of the meal. However, at full price, the pizzas were on the pricey side. So down to the important question, would I return? In a vacuum, yes I would. However, this location faces some tough competition, near long time local stalwart Anna's Pizza and one of my personal faves, Salvatore's Tomato Pies. To be honest, I would probably end up going to nearby Salavatore's if wanted a pizza in Sun Prairie. However, if Falbo Bros. Pizza opened up shop in my native Waunakee, no doubt I would be a loyal customer.
I ordered a medium pizza, a small bread sticks and a salad. For the quality- $40 (w/tip) was far too expensive. The pizza (which I paid more for deep dish) was just a regular pizza with a really tall, dry crust. The bread sticks were just a plain pizza crust, dusted with some dried herbs and a powdery cheese product. They came with a side of very cold marinara. I can't comment on the salad- because I never got it. We got delivery, and the driver literally pushed the boxes into my hands, and ran off before I could tell him I was missing an item (I am not blaming the driver- it was a Saturday, and I am sure he was very busy). The pizza was fine- greasy with an unpleasant crust, but not terrible. The "bread sticks" were awful- dry and flavorless. There are enough decent to good pizza places in the area that I see no reason for me to order from them again.

Day One Pizza

This is an amazing pizza place. Living in the Sun Prairie area, we order from there ALL the time (so much so that several employees know my kids' names and ages, and always ask after them, ha!) Granted, it's not some artsy, fancy pizza like Grampa's Pizza in Madison (which I also love!); Day One is just your typical cheese, pepperoni, sausage place. But it is SO good! Ingredients are always fresh, employees are friendly, store is immaculate, and it's reasonably priced. We usually order a regular crust pizza, half cheese, half sausage, which sounds probably kind of plain, but it's our typical Friday night meal; so good! My only complaint about them (hint, hint, if any managers are reading!) is that unlike other pizza places, they don't have a system where you just give your phone number and they pull up all your information. So every single time, I have to give our address, spell out our last name, etc. It'd be so much easier if I could just say, "yes, my phone number is 555-555-5555" and have them pull up all the info. But, that's a minor complaint and obviously doesn't deter me from ordering from them quite often.
We love Day One! The pizza is 100% fresh, toppings are plentiful, and the service is very friendly. Day One works VERY hard to accommodate diners with food allergies. Once you mention an allergy, they immediately call on a manager to handle your order. They will clean (although they already look very clean) your table and chairs to avoid any residue that might cause an allergic reaction. They provide gluten free pizza crusts, too. The Day One owners are very supportive of the community. This store isn't a franchise or a chain -- it is owner-operated, and it shows in their pride in their product. Yes, you can buy cheaper pizza, but with Day One you get what you pay for.
Don't like when I call a place 5 times during their posted hours of operation. For this I will now only call places that are interested in answering my call and wanting my business.
