Never disappointed always leave full and not broke. Thank you for keeping the drive in atmosphere and a tradition going. I am now a regular. Even on a bad weather day you can tuck underneath the awning and enjoy a great lunch.

I had to give it a star to rate it but the food was aweful. The burger was cold and the root beer float was made with flavored ice cream, probably because they didnt wait till the flavor syrup was clear from the machine when making it. The waitress forgot half our order and by the time we finished my entire family felt ill. I will not return.

Beautiful place that brings me back to a time before my parents were born. With decade appropriate music streaming off satellite radio, and waitresses in poodle skirts hanging out food order off the side of the car, be prepared to enter a world where people drove just to drive and the cars themselves were works of art. The food itself is pretty basic, but well made. Delicious turkey burger! You should consider going for the basket. Dessert is mainly based in soft-serve, and not particularly great soft serve. But, the meal and atmosphere was great and if you want a DQ-esque "ice cream" treat afterwards, at least they save you the trip down the road. If we find ourselves driving through in the future, and are even a little hungry, we will certainly stop by again!

I normally look forward to visiting once or twice a year since moving out of town, but my most recent visit was incredibly disappointing. My family ordered three root beer coolers. There were few customers and several employees, yet it took over 15 minutes for them to arrive. When we finally got our drinks, they were lukewarm and gross. After bringing them back, the employees remade them, which we appreciated. During our extended wait, we also witnessed at least one car drive away after no one waited on them. This restaurant is a local gem, so I really hope this isn't a regular occurrence.

When you visit Rudy's you'll revisit an era before fast food became a dirty word. Excellent burgers, fries, cheese curds, onion rings, and root beer served (by roller-skated carhops!) in thick glass mugs. I was reminded of the A & W drive-ins I remember from the early sixties. But Rudy's doesn't feel like an exercise in cheap nostalgia. They don't pander to a 50's sensibility; it's more like they've been serving good food in a friendly atmosphere forever, and see no reason to stop just because so many others have. Heartily recommended!
