I just tried this place for the first time and was impressed. The tortilla soup is awesome!!!!! My cheeseburger was delicious (loved the bun) and the waffle fries were great. My fiance had a steak sandwich (too much bread, but the steak itself was excellent). Good prices and nice atmosphere.

Save yourself a trip to this restaurant and go to one that values their customers! I will make sure I tell all of my friends NOT to bother with this poor excuse of a restaurant! I'm sure it wont be open much longer:) good luck

Solid think crust pizza. It's good. We would come back. The only problem is my ass husband didn't want to share.

Breakfast was acceptable but have some issues with the management style to relate in this review. First off, if I remember correctly, the owner comes from a totally different industry, printing. It shows in his management style. There is a side door that explicitly states that it is to be used as an exit only, yet he and his, I assume granddaughter, came right on in. Those who rule make the rules? Hmmm Secondly, the same little girl was then given a little pretend vacuum cleaner and proceeded to go through the dining room "cleaning". Keep your relatives at home.

It's been a while since I was there. Well before I began to yelp. Went for breakfast and the restaurant had been 3/4 full. I sat in a booth designed for three people. After ordering are food the hostess who just sat us down 5 minutes earlier now tells us that she has a large party and needs to put their kids in are booth. She told us that they are waiting. I know when there's a call at a firehouse the firemen rush to their trucks put come on we haven't even gotten are food. The food was nothing to take my time with to make a point. If you like fire themes and below average food and a hostess with a short term memory. Then this is for you.

Stopped in for breakfast on mothers day. 15.95 for mediocre buffet. For the price definitely expected more.

As a retired volunteer fire fighter I wanted to give this place a try because I like firefighter themed places. I was not impressed with the decor. I know it is housed in the former Saukville fire station but there are only a few pictures in the main dining area. About 9 or 10 fire helmets, some toy fire trucks & a couple of nozzles in the pub area. That just doesn't cut it in my opinion. No hostess was at the station when we walked in. Two waitresses walked by and said nothing to us. Finally after about 5 minutes the hostess (Jessica) showed up and took us to a table right by the entrance. During the hour or so we were there she wasn't at the hostess station more than 5 minutes. It took our server (Olivia) another 5 minutes to come to the table to take our drink order. We ordered the following: 2 Cups of seafood chowder - mine didn't seem to have any seafood. My wife's had some but not much. Overall the flavor itself was good but the lack of seafood was a big disappointment. Nachos - It came on a 16" pizza tray - It was huge but wasn't very flavorful. Only chips(burned taste to them) black olives, tomatoes & blah hamburger meat with melted cheese on top of it. It seemed like they were left in the broiler to long. Sour cream, salsa & jalapenos came on the side. My wife had "poor mans lobster" (aka baked cod) with potato pancakes, cole slaw & rye bread. She had to ask for apple sauce. The fish was cooked well but it had no taste to it. The potato pancakes were greasy and doughy inside. Probably the worst potato pancake she ever had. The coleslaw had a very good flavor and was creamy. The apple sauce was likely from a can or a jar so they couldn't screw that up. I had the 12oz rib eye with ladder fries & vegetables (green beans & carrots). The steak had no seasoning on it whatsoever, the vegetable mixture was good but it seemed to be greasy. I don't know if that was because is sat in butter water or what. The steak comes with "deep fried onion hose" which had a burned taste to me. As if the oil was old or dirty. The menu states that it would all be delivered on a sizzling platter - it wasn't. If your going to put that on the menu then do it! Overall this was a disappointing experience. We drove from Muskego to try this place based on the fact it is a "Firehouse Restaurant" and we both came away really let down by the staff and the food. We won't be making the trip again and won't stop in even if we are in the area. There is a McDonald's around the corner that I know has better tasting food than this place. I emailed the restaurant the review I did and wanted to follow up with Yelp to let you all know their response. "Mr. H, First, I would like to Thank you for your service as a Firefighter, and also for taking time to contact us regarding your experience. It saddens me that you and your wife's experience at the Firehouse was less than perfect. We pride ourselves on excellent service, and outstanding food. We are grateful for your opinion, and its people like you, that help us to continue to strive towards perfection. We would love for you to give us another try at the Firehouse, and let us know your thoughts. Again, thank you for the information, and we look forward to serving you again on a much better experience. Sincerely, Jessei Firehouse Manager" We did visit on a Friday night at about 8pm. It was NOT busy at all. There was no reason we should have waited for 5 minutes for the hostess to show up at the stand. Yes, I did see the mural on the wall. Sorry I forgot to mention it. As far as the owner/chef talking to customers....I did see a guy talking to one couple but he didn't approach anyone else so I have no idea if this is the owner/chef. I am also wondering why the owner/chef didn't answer my email if he is that in tune with the customers. Also I think it is kind of funny that I post a bad review & in the next two days there are two glowing reviews of the place by people that have never reviewed anything on else on Yelp. Coincidence?

The breakfast was terrible. I gave this place a try anyways. Big mistake. The the food is all canned and nothing was fresh. The toast was hard and the hash browns overcooked. The chocolate milk was good because nobody had to cook it. I'm new to the area and would never go back. After eating I was already planning what I wanted to eat for lunch.

We ate there for breakfast. One of the worse breakfast I ever had. The American fries were old baked potatoes pre-made into cubes. The rye bread was stale. The eggs were good. I do not understand how and why they are in business. The locals must not have taste buds bc this place would not last in Milwaukee.

We live in Saukville and like to give patronage to the local restaurants. But we always regret our choice to go to the Firehouse restaurant. Service is always slow, food is just OK and the prices are high. Ordered the wings and paid a small fortune, only to get little nuggets of chicken so small it was laughable. We will still givce it the occasional visit but ownership needs to improve the food, prices and service for us to ever be regulars, and we're not hard to please. :o(

This is probably one of the worst meals I have had in a very long time. Everything is clearly pre-packaged then heated up. Our waitress only stopped by the table to take our order and drop off our bill. The food was not good and we ate little to none of it. It was so terrible we had to go elsewhere to eat.

Our first time here was a few years ago, we started going almost weekly for Sunday breakfast also a good value, great food and great service. Then it changed ownership and most of the regular staff was gone, food went down hill - FAST! Service tanked, costs went up. Because it was close we would still try it occasionally - no improvement. Today we returned, first time in six months, and the place was nearly empty, I can remember having to wait to get a table and that was with both sides going, and that was just two years ago. Regardless, food still not good, pancake recipe changed, now just blah( that was one good item) overpriced bacon, guess cause every one likes bacon $1 a slice is what it boils down too. Not the same restaurant it used to be...

I've stopped in here a few times, for a while it was almost on a weekly basis. It's true, there isn't that much to the decor -- but that's ok. It's simple and easy to the eyes. I want a quiet place to sit down and eat, not some over the top themed restaurant. I think the food here is fantastic and have never been disappointed. If you love wings, this is the best place to get them in my opinion. Forget Buffalo Wild Wings or Wingstop , this is it. Service has always been friendly and fast. Never have I has to wait extensively longer for an order, always on average time tables, given or not, how busy the restaurant is. Shout out to Lee and Renee. The two friendliest people in the restaurant. I've been in customer service for 13 years and it really says something when someone from the establishment remembers you by name.

It was what we were looking for on a Sunday morning - a place to have a Bloody Mary and breakfast. We sat at a high top in the bar and it appeared that the bartender was training. He was slow to wait on us. But when the regular bartender (Lee) came in, the service improved dramatically. Food was fine. Bacon and Cheese omelet and eggs Benedict. Nothing exceptional, but a standard breakfast.

Chef salad for lunch. Felt fine going in, but hour after leaving, diarrhea. Nuff said.

This place opened up earlier this summer in the building that used to house the Saukville FD, hence the name. It replaced a restaurant called "Patrice's". It is a typical restaurant with a bar, a mix of booths and tables, with a central bar. The food is typical American - burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and the requisite fish fry on Fridays (this is Wisconsin). I didn't get wowwed by anything original on the menu. I've only been here once and it was average. I food was OK, service was OK - not bad, but nothing to get excited about. I will be back again, but for now this is about 2.5 - 3 star place in my mind.
