It has almost been 3 years since we tried the pizza here and I was sure we would never go back. But a few factors were in place for us to give it a try and a re-review! First, this location is under new management but still the same family. I am sure that there is a good story here. I have heard a few rumors but I am not going to pass on word of mouth facts. Secondly, they have coupons in the Happenings magazine. Bonus!!! So we were hungry one night and wanted food fast without cooking or driving too far to get it. When I came across the coupons. There was a coupon for a four piece fried chicken dinner for 5 bucks and a coupon for a large pizza with two toppings for 5 bucks. I figured if I was going to try them again, at least it wasn't going to cost me a lot of money. I must say that the pizza is a completely different pizza then the pizza we got years ago. The fried chicken was also really good too. I am giving the food four stars based on the new management and for the coupons. If it was not for the coupons, I am sure I would not be tempted to eat here. The coupons make the food worth it. I also must say that everything was ready in 20 minutes...that was really fast. The food was also nice and hot by the time I got it home. So if you see a coupon in the Happenings, then give them a try if you have had a bad experience in the past.

My husband and I ordered a family dinner of spaghetti with meatballs with bread and salad for take out and it was terrible! The pasta was so over cooked it was mushy. The sauce was so bland it had no flavor whatsoever. The meatballs tasted like they bought generic frozen meatballs and warmed them up. The bread was cheap rolls slightly warmed up and the salad was super simple with watery salad dressing. Terrible! Olive Garden is better than this place for "Italian".

Just got a pizza here tonight. The pizza was good...wasn't the best I've ever had but wasn't bad enough to make me angry either. We will definitely order from here again. The best thing about this place...organized service!!! I'm impressed. When I placed my order on the phone, the girl (Ashley...got her name off the receipt) was very polite and friendly - even though they were probably getting slammed with calls at 5:30 on a Friday eve. When I went in to pick the pizza up, both girls were on the phone; however, one of them acknowledged me by making eye contact and gave me a smile and a nod to indicate she'd be right with me. It was effortless!! Thank you, Tenutas!!! Finally someone is doing it right.

They have such a huge reputation. When we first moved there, we got their pizzas for the movers and ourselves. First time that I threw the leftover away. I haven't been back.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
