Great find in the small town of Ripon! We are here for Oshkosh as we have been for every year the last 7 years and this was our first time to visit the Treasury. We stay over on Green Lake at The Angel Inn and we have visited many local restaurants, this being the BEST we have found. Food was very good and the service was great. Heidi was our server and she did a fantastic job of taking care of us. Our visit was on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was about 1/2 full. We will come again next year when we are back in town for Oshkosh.
This really is as good as it gets. We have been there every year since it opened. When we come to Wisconsin for our annual reunion, we save The Treasury for our special night out. We select from the Tapas menu. So many of the tastes are unique - subtle yet discernible. The bartender was skillful and attentive - she saw me order my drink from my server and had it ready before he even got to the bar. Philip - our server- was the perfect mix of friendly but he did not insert himself into our family get together. I do so wish I could clone this restaurant and reproduce it in the many small towns around the nation with glorious old buildings that need a new purpose. This is a work of genius in the heartland of America.
Excellent entrees, best food I've eaten since living in Wisconsin. Wait staff was beyond prompt and helpful. Thank you Philip! We will be back!

Service was great. Food was very good. Beer was delicious. A great dining experience.
I absolutely adore this place. The coffee is perfect, they offer plenty of fun drinks, and options for those of us who can't have dairy. I haven't indulged in their pastries yet, but they look yummy! Their food is also very good. I especially like the quinoa bowl. I make a lot of dishes at home with qunioa, and theirs is perhaps the best quinoa I have ever had. Flavorful and delicious, yet light! The atmosphere is festive and cosy. The only real complaint I have is about the hours...seems like fat bruces is rarely open :/
This restaurant has been a successful business for quite some time offering a great lunch menu, baked goods and coffee. Now under new administration, the restaurant has a virtually new menu including pizza and beer. The new owners are associated with Road House pizza in Ripon. I'm disappointed at the radical replacement of the menu with an offering that looks more like a re run of Road House pizza. The delicious, popular and healthy Quinoa salads are no longer offeted. I asked the owner if the Quinoa salads would be coming back to which he replied "maybe as a special". I ordered one of the new salads and although acceptable, the bread stick that was served seems to be of lesser quality than what was previously offered. It's not a bad place but certainly the menu changes were done too fast and the pizza and beer is already available in other restaurants in town.

Based in Yelp reviews we stopped in here when passing through Ripon. I had the bourbon bacon burger and we also had the ribeye sandwhich. Both were great! Of the two I would say that ribeye is a hands down winner...very tender meat. The place is a bar that is quiet enough that you can hold a conversation without yelling at each other. The music was classic rock. Just an overall nice place to enjoy a drink and decent meal. The staff was very attentive as well. We will definately be stopping here again when we pass through again. Glad we checked out the previous Yelp reviews as they were accurate.
Everything I've ever ordered here is very good. Love the all you can eat wings special they have once a week. Good beer specials to
Food is ok...standard frozen-delivered food. Good service and friendly local hangout. More of a home-town atmosphere kind of place and an older style interior look. Could use an overhaul...

Terrific food, pizza and wings are awesome. Service is fast and responsive. Big fan.
I don't go to Ripon often, but I will definitely be making this my first stop when I'm in town. The inside is brightly lit, and has an extensive bar with some really surprisingly varied beers in their selection. I haven't had Dogfish beer in ages, and they have it. That's worth a star right there. I ordered the Aloha sandwich, which was perfectly portioned and delicious. My friends all enjoyed their orders too, and nobody had a single complaint. We originally were going to stay just for a meal, but we ended up talking to the bartender and staying for hours. You just can't beat that kind of service and friendly attitude. Not only was he friendly and attentive, he offered to make us specials, and if we didn't like them, he'd make us something new, on him. We never were able to take him up on that offer, since everything he served up was fantastic. I never thought one of my favorite old fashions would be from a pizza/restaurant joint in Ripon Wisconsin, but life is strange sometimes. There's plenty of room for large groups, and an upstairs area with a bar as well, so no matter what you're intown for, a quick meal, or an event, they can cater to whatever you need. This is exactly the place to get a start on your night, and put you in a good mood before you go out. I'm not in town often, but I will be going back to Roadhouse when I am.
Great pizza. Helpful staff. Prices were very fair. Comfortable seating. Excellent martini.

This place was has new owners and was completely remodeled. The interior is a vast improvement from the old place, The food is excellent includes Chinese and Japanese food, Sushi etc was excellent and the prices are reasonable. Serving alcohol as well. Ignore any of the older reviews as they are previous owner and renovation, there is no comparison between the 2
A very good choice for decent Chinese food. Restaurant itself is redesigned quite nicely with a small sushi bar. A huge upgrade from the previous China1. I haven't had the sushi yet, but really tasty Lo mein as well as Hunan beef, chicken with veggies, etc. four stars, especially for Asian food in this area of the state.
In the past we would go to this place and order the usual Chinese fair, but recently they added sushi to the menu at and although price he was quite excellent. The place itself is kind of noisy and busy at times and the food is usually very good but I highly recommend the sushi they did an excellent job and it was very delicious.

My son.and i stopped for dinner and a drink. Notice that's a local hangout for many people but was treated nicely. Bartender was pretty busy but did chat a bit with us about a bar in our hometown. I don't see that it's mexican so not sure how it got that tag. We ordered fried cauliflower. A few bigger pieces were frozen in the middle but after leaving them to "cool" they were edible. The smaller pieces were really good. I would order again. I had the shrimp basket and my son had wings. The wings were awesome as I had 1 and they are great size, not fatty and very good. The shrimp were ok and had a lot of them. My son ordered a Spotted Cow and it was cold and tasted great. I ordered a SoCo and pineapple. It tasted really good. I would get that again Had a great time and would go back.
Went last night to visit cousin in Ripon. We went to Millers to watch the badger game. We asked if we'd be able to hear the game. They said yes. I hate hearing music when a game is playing. Once game did come on we could only hear it if we were next to the tv. All the TVs were out of sync. There was a young college crowd. Very loud for how big the place was and amount of people in there. It took forever to order food, which had to be done at the bar. Once we finally ordered food it took forever to get a pitcher of beer and a captain and coke. There was only two bartenders. They were running with there heads chopped off. We started watching the game and our food took forever to get because they didn't see us sitting down. Once they did they didn't bring any plates for our pizza or an napkins. So we had to ask and the were mad about it. Once we got our bill I went to the bar to pay. They bartender acknowledged me. I waited for 10 minutes. They were making small chat with everyone. Getting new drinks for there local patroons. Guys in front of me were sitting down. They call bartender over and to myself said screw it. I threw my bill down in front and cut them off. Saying keep the change I've been waiting for 10 minutes. I ask for my drinks and bartender was sobbing about it. Guys I cut off turned around and looked at me funny and said ,he knows what he wants, with attitude. I don't normally cut people off especially my elders. I don't care that I'm not a local but everyone to a bartender should be a local. I won't be coming back anytime soon. There are other bars in Ripon.
Many bars focus on their sales of alcohol and offer food as an afterthought. Other taverns attempt to differentiate themselves by having their kitchen creatively serve up quality ingredients. Miller's Tavern falls firmly into the former. My recent dining experience left me with the impression that Miller's kitchen staff just assembled and warmed institutional-grade ingredients and applied little in the way of creativity or technique to any of the food. Service was a mixed bag during my recent visit. No one greeted our party of thirteen when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night. We eventually flagged down a server, who told us that someone else would get to us. After about five minutes, another server came over and directed us to the upper level. When she interacted with us, our personable server was tremendous. However, she would vanish for long stretches of time and we ended up going to the bar to get refills of our beverages. It took more than an hour to get our food and our server never told us that the kitchen was running that slow. The Hot Combo Basket we ordered as an appetizer was standard fryer to freezer fare. The jalapeno poppers and the Texas Toothpicks lacked any real heat. I appreciated that everything in the basket was served piping hot and the exterior of each item had the requisite level of crunchiness. I ordered the haddock plate, served with four portions of piping hot fish, a couple slices of soft rye bread, soupy cole slaw and your choice of fries or potato salad. I enjoyed the crunch of the exterior batter, not too thick, but a tad salty. The texture of the fish seemed off, a bit too chewy and the color was a light tan instead of the usual white. The quantity of the fish served for the $8.25 price made this meal a decent value if you favor quantity or quality. Other than the crunchy crinkle-cut fires, the sides were forgettable. The soggy, overdressed cole slaw suffered from too much sweetness and too little cabbage. The under seasoned potato salad lacked flavor and needed some textural contrast. The rye bread suffered from the same blandness as the potato salad. My daughter ordered the cheese pizza. After eating a slice or two, she learned the hard way that there is such a thing as bad pizza and started poaching food off the plates of her fellow diners. This craptastic pizza spent far too long in the oven, evidenced by its tooth-shattering crust and coated with a hard dome of filmy, brown cheese. Just writing about this pizza has me reaching for a bottle of Tums. If you are looking for a place to watch the game with your drinking buddies, Miller's Tavern is decent landing spot. However, if you want seek a satisfying meal made with healthy ingredients, your taste buds and your waistline will thank you for going elsewhere.

Enjoyed the Friday night all-you-can-eat fish and chicken. Comes with soup and salad bar. Particularly good New England clam chowder.
We tend to eat here once a year by default when in town to visit family. It is a pretty typical Wisconsin supper club. Very basic salad bar with all you can eat fish and chicken on Friday night for $10.99. Decent deal, decent food and decent atmosphere.
Total disappointment. I moved to Ripon and saw this place and the "super Tuesday buffet" and got giddy. Pizza is like cardboard....obviously a frozen pizza. Pasta was rubber. White meat was dry. Potatoes were instant and instant gravy. Garlic bread was previously frozen. Taco meat was okay, but lettuce was nasty and so were the tomatoes. They charged extra for sour cream (on a taco buffet). Oh and the service was non existent. Dark meat fried chicken was the only part I liked. Will not be back.

Haven't been to a Subway in years. Used to get their Italian style sub. Their menu was all different and they had a lot of hot sandwiches. I ordered a Philly Sandwich. What I got was a beef and cheese sub. Not a Philly. It was really bland and the bread was doughy and bland too. We were really disappointed. We are really surprised that this sort of sub shop stays in business. We know of a few that would quickly displace this shop if they moved into town. Best skip this place.
