Culver’s Frozen Custard

Reviews:
Get the custard. Its egg based instead of milk based so its smoother than ice cream. Fantastic menu of quality fresh food, never frozen. Friendly staff and with every kids meal they get agree custard. This is the midwest version of In 'n Out but with more than just burgers. Oh and you HAVE to try the cheese balls. Love this place and the people are fantastic.

A gem of a coffee shop in a small town. Excellent coffee, some of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere, affordable prices. Even decent wifi (can't expect Google Fiber in a tiny town in Wisconsin). Staff is friendly, great decoration, fun music. If you come here on the weekends in the summer, you'll need to walk up the street to get a burger from Pete's. 5 stars. It's great, I'll be here everytime I'm in town visiting family.
I took a group of five lady's to this little coffee shop after reading the reviews. I was not let down!! We were treated very kindly despite arriving only half an hour before close. The food was EXCELENT!! and I mean we had 4 different meals and everyone was exceptional!! I can't wait to go there again!!
If your in PdC this is a must stop. Great food , great coffee and drinks, great service and environment

On a Sunday evening, we had no trouble getting a table. I had prime rib which had an "off" or "livery" flavor. Wild rice was good. Hubby had fried walleye which he liked. He agreed on my assessment of the prime rib. I took the salad bar which had the usual veggies as well as herring (good), a pasta salad (fine), ham spread (good), and coleslaw. He had a a Caesar salad which he liked. My mixed drink was well prepared and he liked one of dark draft beers on tap. Decor is dark and hubby found the men's toilet area "worn and shabby." Clientele: appeared to be locals. A few little old ladies were dressed in their best polyester slacks and blouse. Saw many people who came in their "possibly clean tee-shirt with cut-off sleeves" and shorts. Does ANYBODY dress up anymore? Their awning says "Casual Fine Dining." I say "so-so meal in the company of people who are slobs with the exception of the elderly ladies."
This is a terrific vintage WI supper club. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and atmosphere is, well, classic WI supper club! I highly recommend it :)
This is by far one of the best places to eat. Just a coupe of blocks away from our shop. The food is excellent, the service is awesome. I frequently recommend Jones Black Angus to our customers.

As locals, we eat here on a pretty regular basis. The crowd in the summer doesn't bother us as we just plan to enjoy a cocktail on the patio before dinner. Sometimes when there isn't a crowd, we still have a cocktail on the patio first anyways!! In my opinion, this is the best place to grab dinner in the area - and at the best prices too. Our favorites: white cheese curds, fish fry (get the half and half - with half broiled half beer battered), taco salad, prime rib, peel and eat shrimp (with Cajun rub - and for an extra dollar they'll peel your shrimp for you so you don't get smelly fingers!), burgers and chicken strips, spaghetti (Tuesday's only) - basically the majority of the items on the menu are great. Having eaten here probably around a hundred times, I cannot say I've had one single bad meal - that's pretty amazing!!!
We were staying at the Comfort Suites and wanted a good fish fry we were led here. It reminded us of our hometown bars! The place was busy but everyone was friendly our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed but it was busy. The fish fry was really good same as all of them back home so nothing out of the ordinary and the beer was cold.
If you're over by the Mississippi River, anywhere in the vicinity of Wyalusing State Park or the Marquette River Boat Casino, then check out this fine bar & grill on Hwy 35. A great place for a Friday fish fry or a Sunday morning bloody! If there is a game on, pull up a bar stool, grab a free bowl of popcorn, and enjoy your time at Spring Lake Inn.

Came into Jim's on a snowy Saturday afternoon with five friends. One drink turned into several. The bartender on duty was so sweet and nice and the local regulars were friendly and fun. This is a great place to stop if you're ever on the main drag.

Managing expectations is key if you want to enjoy a true dive bar experience. That goes for dive bars in your town and mine! I have been coming here for years and that continues to remain a challenge for me. Frazier's is a neighborhood joint that is considered a "beer tavern" and justifiably so. Keith is the owner and is your host and "bar keep". He pours a mean glass of beer and an occasional "Bloody". Anything other than that, indicates uncharted territory and you're on your own! He is a friendly and hospitable chap, and just like the bar itself...just off the beaten path! By the way, the building itself has a lot character, history and fast moving freight trains within steps of the front door. So, if your drinkin'...you better be thinkin'!!!

Fun filled tavern to grab some drinks with your friends. And if you don't have any friends, buy one of the regulars a drink and *poof* instant friends! Owners Bonnie and Denny Fuller are usually entertaining patrons. While the bar doesn't serve food, nobody puts on a special occasion spread like Bonnie. Stop in for St. Patty's day and you'll be sure to get some corned beef and cabbage; turkey and stuffing sandwiches on Thanksgiving -- you get the idea. In the summer, enjoy the spacious beer garden which usually features bands on weekends. Good jukebox, a pool table and a couple of dartboards help pass the time. Two TVs at either end of the long bar are usually tuned to some game. Lots of great local photos and memorabilia adorn the walls. This place is one of a kind.

Wasabi

Reviews:
I have been going here occasionally for a year and a half and everytime I go here the food and sushi is always wonderful. A kei is a wonderful guy that makes you feel welcome all the time and always makes you smile :) I enjoy every moment spent here
I have eaten at Wasabi many times and also gotten their food to go many times. I have eaten both the sushi and the Habachi. The sushi has always been good, but there are a few rolls that come out different every time they are ordered. There are also many items that they have on their menu that they never seem to have in stock. I assume that it is because they use a standard order form for their table menus. If you go there in the summer the temp of the restaurant is fine, but if you go in the winter wear some extra layers as it is always rather cold. When I was there last time I was wearing a long-sleeve shirt, which usually means that I will be roasting to death, and I was really thinking about putting my winter jacket back on. Lastly the service is so-so. I would say that their staff, which seems to change often just needs more experience. So in conclusion I still like Wasabi and I will keep going back because their sushi is good and outweighs the no so great things.
Highly recommended for the Hibachi grill and the sushi. I have been here about four times and have never been disappointed. Yum yum sauce makes everything better.

Had a great talk with some folks coming up from SD. Nice happy hour. Try the Breaded Pork sandwich. This is one of those places you'll come back for the company and the food. Enjoy yourself.
Great food and service. The place was clean and seating was comfy. Family-friendly place!
Have eaten here three times over that last three years. Food is good, beer is ok, service is hit or miss. What I loved: The waffle fries, the onion rings, the look of the fish sandwich (someone else ordered it) and that they cooked my burger close to how I ordered it. What I really loved: The cheese curds (if you notice a trend with deep fat fried items....it was just a fluke...I'm sure) What they could have done better: There were eight of us. You put us at two separate tables but yet there were other tables that could have been pulled together so that all of us could dine together. I'll be back, save some curds for me please.

Wonderful small town restaurant. Clean and bright. Delightful gift shop. Fabulous food, fast service, and coconut pie to die for! Loved it!
I'd classify this place as an above average diner. The service was excellent. Waitress was very attentive. I had one of the daily specials, cod basket. The fried cod was excellent. It had a thin, crispy, texture and buttery flavor. The twirly fries seemed to be homemade. The roll was average and served with butter. I did not receive my cole slaw, which I just now realized. I had originally gave this place 4 stars but down graded for missing cole slaw. The meal was very good and filling even with the missing slaw.
Nice place, more upscale than a diner. I went for breakfast, they have a cute waitress, friendly w the typical Wisconsin accent. Had the kielbasa skillet w eggs over medium and coffee. Food was good, service timely, friendly, I'd recommend this place!
