The char-broiled hamburgers are as large as Kopps' but not fried so they are extra delicious. One of the best things about this place are the variety of 'gourmet' burgers you can get. The Port Wine Cheeseburger tends to be a little messy, but the tang of the cheese with the fresh soft pretzel bun make it a real treat. Custard is good - creamy and rich. Prices are reasonable for a made to order place like this. Clean dining room and courteous staff were just the toppings on the sundae. I would definitely recommend this over the chains - life's too short to eat anything but fresh yummy food.

Bubbas has great custard and food. Their custard is more flavorful and creamier than Culvers. Their food menu is very unique and they have monthly specials that are only available during that month. If you get on their email list, you have access to all sorts of specials that they run throughout the year! It is great. Plus, they are a small independent business that supports the local community so I love supporting them. Go check out Bubbas for their food menu and their custard. You will not be disappointed!

Holy Moly... I went on another adventure and look what I found. That day I had to make the hardest decision. EVAR. A burger from Five Guys or a burger... or something from Bubba's Frozen Custard. I had never even heard of a Bubba's. I decided to try Bubba's. I did use the handy dandy Yelp App to find out more about the menu. See there is a problem with being unprepared in situations like this... the anxiety of making a choice and feeling so overwhelmed you just make a choice without thinking it through. Most of you will be thinking that I just overthink things (this is a true story), but some of you are thinking, "She understands me!" Anyway I discovered the Athens Burger as their burger of the month. It didn't say it on the menu, so I did ask before to make sure it was still an option. The Athens Burger comes with onions (Holy Onions Batman!), tomatoes, and Feta. And I had a side of Onion Rings. And yes, I did put on my fat pants when I got home. Anyway, the burger was quite large and despite all the onions it was ok... it could've been better had the meat not been so dry. However, Feta Cheese on a burger... good idea! And the onion rings... I think they were the best part of the meal. Overall, I'd probably go back... for onion rings and to try their custard. For the burger, I think I'd go across the street to Five Guys. Call it a progressive dinner ;)

I have been coming here since I was a teenager. Their selection of burgers is great, they also use fresh bakery buns. On their Sunday's they use that fun crackel topping, reminds me of breaking into a creme brûlée of awesomeness. It is great for family's and or just a group of friends getting together. Defiantly a must stop if you are an ice cream or burger connoisseur and enjoy.

This small establishment has become my most favorite custard go to. I personally think they have better custard than Kopps or should I say best in WI and a burger that is a strong contender. You can't go wrong with Bubbas!

After driving by this place countless times i finally looked into it a little bit, I decided to go and get the Wisconsin cheese head burger (Cheese curds, a few different cheeses and ranch on a burger) it was awesome. These burgers are quite close tasting to Oscars custard burgers, the service is great here. The mozzarella sticks are very good as well. I went back about a week and a half later with the same order and it was still great. I'll be back yet again.

A bit like Kopps' poorer cousin. It's not bad but it lacks the fatty goodness of Kopps. Burgers are huge but a little dry. The custard is good but is some how just not as great as Kopps, Mickeys or even Culver's. It's like it lacks creaminess or something. They do have a good selection of flavors though. The line can be a little in the summer for after softball game treats but Bubba's sponsors so many little league teams which I think is awesome.

I recently returned to Bubba's for lunch and saw something on the menu that made me decide to be a little more adventurous than usual. A Bubbadog. The counter guy told me that it was the same as a Bubbaburger, only with a different meat and bun. It's a heart attack looking for a place to happen, which of course, is the attraction to it. It's a hot dog on a poppy seed hot dog bun. (There's a portrait of it in the photo section.) A Bubbadog is topped with fried onions, cheese sauce and two strips of bacon. Add the condiment of your choice - I ate it the way it came out of the kitchen. Luckily, the restaurant was loud enough to cover up the sound of my arteries slamming shut. Sadly, my work assignments are changing and I won't be getting back into Mr. Bubba's Neighborhood as often anymore. At least once every two weeks, though, I'll be close enough to justify visiting the place that most effectively gives my cholesterol meds something to do.

Great custard. The burgers are on par with kopps , they are ok but like with kopps burgers I'm not a huge fan. Love their chese curds and they have a excellent fish fry. Yummy shakes and malts too

Every time I'm in the area it's a must to stop at Bubba's Frozen Custard. From the jumbo burgers, to the custard, and all the way to the awesome customer service, this place never disappoints.

Ok for the kids but i will not return for a meal. Sorry Bubba's but you could do so much better! The food was a very small step up from McDonalds and a big step up in price. Great atmosphere and decor. Kudos to Bubbas for supporting the Make A Wish Foundation and also a local charity. Their custard is wonderful but are lacking when it comes to sandwich quality & presentation. The meal is served on a Styrofoam plate (boooo). Like Culvers, Bubba's offers a quarter pound patty, but there is nothing special about Bubba's patty. If Bubba's is offering a special sandwich of the day it is served on a locally made bun (yeay). What i want is a good burger! Offer a 1/2 or 1/3 pound well made burger. I almost cried when i saw my burger. Yuck! My 6 year old had a corn dog, nothing special, and my other had a cheeseburger, nothing special. My son & husband have Celiac (wheat allergy) so their sandwiches were without a bun. Hubby had a dry grilled chicken sandwich and my son had the bacon cheeseburger. I think the word of the evening for the food was disappointing. Maybe you'll like this place if you're into hotdogs. Go for the custard but don't expect much for the sandwiches!

I really love going here with the kids. It's one of their favorite places to go for a treat. The custard is smooth, creamy and oh, so delicious, although I agree with many of the other reviewers that they almost give you too much. The food is good, too. I've had the burgers but typically I go for the BLT. I guess you could say that it's the standard ice cream parlor burgers and fries. We continue to go back!

Good burgers, great dogs and really good custard. The Good Prices are reasonable, the service is reminiscent of Culvers and the custard is better. The Bad If there is a line it can take a while for them to move through it. But it's generally worth the wait. The Ugly The cones are big... and while you probably only need to be eating 1/2 of what they give you, you're gonna eat it all. :) All in all, if you're in the area stop in and enjoy some good food.

Great food, custard and service. Have had a couple odd times when its seemed like nothing was coming in or out and waited a long time for a sundae...

Another installment of the "Delivery Driver Lunch Chronicles". My partner and I found ourselves delivering in the bowels of Waukesha County last week when he was overcome with a unyielding desire for grilled meats. Now, I'm a dirty east-side hippie. Waukesha County is not my natural stomping grounds, indeed, you could say that myself and most of the (R) denizens of said county are more-or-less sworn enemies. I am unfamiliar with the territory. This land is not my land. So, as is my custom, I consulted Yelp! for a place in Pewaukee we could find a great burger. Yelp! told me to to go Bubba's. I don't know how I feel about Yelp! anymore. It's not that it was bad. Hell, it had some really good parts. The burger was obviously freshly grilled. It tasted like it came of my backyard grill. The burger itself was focking delicious. But I think I made a mistake when I ordered the special, which was a port-wine cheeseburger on a pretzel bun. The bun was just completely inadequate to handle the massive amounts of cheese, burger, and other toppings that were piled upon it. You almost had to eat it with a fork, and I don't need to tell you that any kind of sandwich you need a utensil to attack is an abomination. It was good, they just need to rethink the presentation and construction. My partners double-cheeseburger on a regular bun looked delicious. That said, I also ordered a peanut-butter-and-chocolate-shake that was amazing. And the cheese fries were delicious. Good God, cheese fries and a chocolate shake and a port-wine cheesburger. For lunch. Did I mention that I'm fat? Anyway, I'm not sure I'd go here again. It was good, but not great. It's not a place to steer away from though. If you're in the area and want a burger you should try it. You might like it more than I did.

Wow! Ordered a single burger...Could have fed a third world nation, it was so big! You can get it with just about anything you want on it. The onion rings were delicious...So then, to top it off, I had to try the custard. I had a sundae with oreo's, mint custard and hot fudge. Silly me, thinking two scoops would equal the size of most two scoop orders. The sundae was twice the size of most places! Service was fast, place was clean, people friendly. YUMMMMM
