Our favorite restaurant to go to for steaks and seafood! We love the fact that you sit at the bar and have a drink before taking your order. It's very relaxing to be able to sit, and have a waitress come to the bar to take your order. After your order is in they come and get you when your salad is on the table and ready. It's nice to not be waiting at a table for an hour before getting to sit and eat. The steaks are delicious and always cooked perfect! Lobster was rich and tender. Love the salads for how simple and great they are. We come about 2-3 times a year and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Delicious food. I ordered ribeye with gnocchi and loved it. Service was great. Spent a long time chatting with an old friend and didn't feel rushed to leave.

Some people may call it a conspiracy to sell drinks but I like their system of walking in, putting your name on a list and sitting at the bar with menus. With this system you are accounted for and not lost in the fog of "their not my table, they are only here to drink etc." In my experience, much of the Northwoods eating establishments have poorly trained service staff - I've had to beg for menus, utensils, condiments, refills and other basic things like: "No, I haven't decided what I want yet (after being brought a menu one minute before) or where is my check?" My experience here was excellent - service was good and prompt, the food was very good and the atmosphere was decent. The salads are basic iceberg drowned in dressing but there is something I like about it - the bread is also fresh and excellent. Prices were fair for the quality and quantity of food - and yeah, I'm one of those overweight people another reviewer saw...

I remember this place from when I was a child it was very good back then. I don't know what has changed if it's the menu or the management. The first thing that's wrong is that They bring you the menu at the bar and make you order your dinner while sitting at the bar. Only after you have ordered and your salads are on your table do they bring you back to the dining room and seat you. You feel pressured to order your food quickly and to order drinks at the bar. The salad is only iceberg lettuce and dressing all of the top. Not even a decorative cucumber or tomato. It was a Tuesday night and I could tell the staff and management didn't care about being there and had no problem showing it. The dinner was served and was completely unremarkable. The staff didn't check back to see if we needed anything. Until I took out my phone and took a picture of the salad. Then we got LOTS of attention. After I took a picture and that flash went off it seems like every person working wanted to stop by the table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. It felt very phony. The bottom line the food is overpriced for the area and mediocre (except for the marinara sauce).

Had dinner there last night Salad is iceberg lettuce only! House dressing was loaded with salt Gnocchi had red sauce that was too spicy Steak was too salty also If you are not a fan of lots of salt don't go here

We took the whole family. As if visiting a restaurant from the dark ages, they didn't even have a marinara sauce option, so we ended up with hard gnocchi and cheese. The bread was so crusty, it required gnawing. At one point I glanced around the room and could only find two individuals (not sitting at our table) who were not overweight or obese. Conclusion, if you want a shorter life dying of heart disease, eat the food this place offers.

Spent an night up in Iron Mountain and was given told for a good steak to go here. WOW! this was very good. You go in give your name and then sit at the bar for a drink and order your dinner at the bar. One the salad are at the table the call your name to be seated. I had the Ribeye and it was awesome. Truly if not the best steak I ever had it is certainly at the top. I was with a group and each of the steaks were cooked to their order and everyone was very pleased. I'm not much for desert usually but they had a home made butterscotch pie that was outstanding. In addition to the awesome food our server did a wonderful job with a group of eight. This is one of the few places I will tell you, it is worth a drive out of your way to go to.

This was a real throwback when I went here with my friend that I was visiting. Good old school steak house and you go check in and sit at the bar. We ordered up some beers while we waited and after a bit the waitress took our orders and sat us down. I got the bone-in strip steak and my friend got the the steak and lobster. I ordered it up medium rare and it was cooked just the way I wanted it. Unfortunately it was a bit over salted, but the meat still had good flavor This was a fun place to go. Much different from what you come across in chicago and it was what the doctor ordered. The pace was a bit slower and relaxing and being able to have some beers at the bar before sitting down was also nice after a long drive.

Excellent service and a fun casual atmosphere. Prices were great for a few beers and fish fry. Will definitely return if back in town.

I was just in this weekend for a great meal at T&T for the first time. I was with a group of 12 in town from Chicago for a bachelor party. We are pretty big steak fans and could not have been more impressed. The bartender (sorry, forgot her name) was fantastic and made a special drink for the man of honor. Our waiter, Kevin, was also top notch. Drink refills never took more than 90 seconds (not exaggerating) and he was extremely helpful to our large group. Overall, we couldn't have been more impressed with the food. I ordered beef tenderloin, which was perfectly cooked and done right (light butter, light seasoning). We also had ribs, stuffed shrimp, crab legs and lobster passed around the table that were delicious. When the bill came, you could have knocked any of us over with a feather - IN A GOOD WAY. I would have been ok with the meal costing twice what it did, really a great bargain. I am lucky it is 6 hours away or else I'd be at the T&T every weekend for their delicious steaks at a great price. I am actively trying to come up with reasons to get back to this area so I can go to the T&T again!

I love that their "petite filet" is 12 oz. I think that about sums this place up. If you're in the area and want a steak, this is your place. It's not Ruth's Chris, but it's at least as good as any steak you'll find in the area (with the exception of the Chippewa Club). If you go on a Friday or Saturday expect to wait for quite a while (probably 45 mins or more depending on the size of your group). They typically have customers order in the bar and then bring them in when their table is ready, so you'll have a place to hang out and contemplate which giant steak your going to get for a while before you have to decide. Definitely worth checking out as dining options around here are somewhat limited. I believe they have some sort of "all you can eat" chicken special during the week. I haven't tried it but the parking lot is usually packed so I'm sure it's good.

Very, Very, Best Filet in the World!!! Fresh, never frozen prime beef, and cooked oh so perfect!!! The side's are also so good!! The red sauce pasta is my favorite! They also have a house salad, with a nice Italian dressing and fresh finely shredded blue cheese!! Try the homemade bloody mary's at the bar while you wait to order! The place is always full and always the best!! You sit at the bar first, and have a dinner drink. They have $1 jumbo peel and eat shrimp there! And, then they take your order at the bar. When your salad's are on the table, they seat you! It's a pleasure dining there! Don't go if your in a hurry to rush through dinner! Whenever I visit the UP, I always make sure it is a not to miss stop! Last, but never least!! The prices are so reasonable!!

Who knew Yelp was in small town WI?! Awesome! Finally we got a vacation so my wife and I went back to her hometown for a family reunion in nearby Iron Mountain. Our first night in Iron Mountain we met a good friend at T&T Supper Club. Supper clubs are kind of a different concept to me. Basically you go in, sit in the bar area and have a cocktail while you order your food. When your food is about ready, they take you to a table and dinner is served. My father in law recommended I get the ribeye, so of course I did. The ribeye came with a salad, which was basically just lettuce and dressing but surprisingly good . Then the ribeye came out. I'm not sure how big it was, but it had to have been about 12 ounces and on the bone. There was really nothing fancy about how it was prepared, basically just a butter sauce and some seasoning, but it was one of the more delicious steaks I've had in recent memory. I'm sure all the locals know about the T&T, but if you're passing through, it's worth a stop. I hear the all you can eat chicken and spaghetti is amazing too.

Despite the food being quite tasty here, I think it's ridiculous how long you have to wait to eat at this place. I live in a metro area and never have to wait as long as I do when I go here. They make you wait in the bar basically until your meal is sitting on the table. It's annoying. They won't take reservations, they are slow on their drinks, and they have a red sauce that is obviously Prego out of a jar that they put on their gnocchi. Their steaks are pretty delicious though, and I guess if you want to sit around for an hour to eat a steak, more power to you. I only go here when relatives are "dying to go".... I wouldn't go on my own.

Love the T&T! Friday night is the night to go to get the "surf & turf". The dinner comes with a wonderful salad (very simple, just lettuce, but delish!), soft bread, and a side of pasta or potato. This is a busy place, so you will likely wait awhile, but it is totall worth it. I do not recommend the mixed drinks (margarita, daquiri) as they put very little alcohol in these drinks.

I really love this place. It has a great atmosphere - a great menu of steaks, ribs and seafood - great drinks, including ice cream drinks (these are not that easy to find!). I've been here several times now, and my favorite is the crab legs. At $24.95, these are a steal, as any big city would charge double for the pleasure. They are also CUT OPEN FOR YOU, so all you need to do is dig out the meat with a little fork. So recommended. Only downside to this place is the dinner salads, which really are just iceberg lettuce and dressing. Overall a great place and a nice place to hit a night on the town if you are in the area.
