I've been here a couple times now, but just recently had an opportunity to try their wings, which my girlfriend has been raving about for years. Frankly, this place is a great, divey bar with a decent beer lineup and great bar food, including the wings. This is a no-nonsense joint. I'll be back (the BBQ wings were awesome!) and would recommend to friends, for sure.

The best servers! No matter who we get as our server the experience is outstanding. We love the fish fry, the wings and the pizza! This is always our "go to" place. Love the bands and the atmosphere!

I've only eaten here for the Friday fish fry, but it's easily one of my favorites. Whichever fish you choose, the breading is nice and thin (not caked on like some other fish fry places) with a delicious, light seasoning. Your fish will always be perfectly cooked; I have never had anything over (or under) cooked. I'm a big fan of bluegill, and any fish fry offering it already has a leg up on the competition; the bluegill at the Clubhouse is easily my favorite anywhere. The fish is tender and, unlike another review, I personally never have found any bones in it. This is my "usual" when I have the fish here - I absolutely love it, and crave it all week until Fridays. My next favorite here is the perch. They serve only lake perch (not ocean, thankfully), and it's either my number one or possibly number two favorite lake perch I've had anywhere. Occasionally I'll have a hard time deciding which to get but here, that's no problem! They offer a combination plate of bluegill and perch, which often makes deciding considerably easier. The other fish I've had is the fried walleye. The piece I had was huge. The breading fell off a little easier than I'd prefer, but the meal was still good; pretty much your typical walleye. Finally, and almost as important as the fish itself... The potato pancakes. I have had many, many fish fries from all over, and still nowhere comes close to the Clubhouse's potato pancakes. They are smaller and thinner than some of the others I've had, but I prefer them this way. The outside is lightly crispy, and they are baked with a really delicious seasoning of some sort. * My ratings of what I've had here, compared with the perhaps 15-20 other fish fries I've tried elsewhere over time: Bluegill: 10/10 Lake perch: 9/10 Walleye (fried): 7.5/10 Breading: 8/10 Potato pancakes: 9.5/10 Service: 9/10 (* Keep in mind, this place fills up fast - and for good reason. If you don't want to wait, best to come either before 5 or after 7:30) Bottom line: Probably my favorite fish fry anywhere. Try the bluegill with potato pancakes, and you'll be hooked. I love this place.

Stumbled into this place by accident and we are all very happy that we did. Got there late and were thankful they were still serving because we were starving. Guys ordered burgers -Blackjack-LOVED THEM. Everything a burger should be, juicy, flavorful, messy. Loved that FF were not the only choice of sides. Gals had chicken sandwich and the chicken pasta special...again juicy and flavorful. Our waitress, Denice, was as wonderful as the food. Attentive, funny and accommodating traits you really don't see much anymore. She is a keeper. Great band playing in the bar was just icing on the cake. Will definitely be back.

I've been coming here for months, and the staff has always been friendly, polite, and helpful. They really enjoy what they do, and it shows. The food is fantastic, I'd recommend the Reuben Sandwich unless it's Friday, then it's a toss up between the froglegs and the bluegills. Top notch!

We used to go here quite often for their Friday night fish fry. We always enjoyed it. Yes, the place is divey, but it has good food and friendly service. I went with my family the other night, though, a Saturday, and we were unfortunately a bit disappointed. My husband got the prime rib, which was good and potato pancakes. I got the special of beef tips and noodles. The taste of the beef was really off. Almost tasted a little like liver. My husband tasted it and told me it was low grade beef. I didn't like it. My son's dish of breaded shrimp with fries was okay. The soup was so-so good. The dinner rolls were deep fried so we thought they were too greasy. Kind of weird thing to do to the dinner roll. Staff is nice and attentive although I really, really didn't like the hostess/bartender vacuuming up leaves on the floor all around me while I was eating. She almost hit me with her elbows at one point. I actually had to move my head! Then she vacuumed under my son's chair while I was sitting there. (He had left for a moment) Usually I could give a better review for this establishment. I'm hoping I'll be able to give them a better rating next time I go.

This place is a Wisconsin treasure. Amazing burgers and the best fish fry I've eaten! It's your typical bar and grill with all of your favorites including but not limited too fried goodness! I experienced a burger that I still think about.. It's been a month! Very juicy and not to mention the size of the burger is enough to put you over the edge, that is if you can finish it! But the fish fry, that is where my mouth waters. The batter is similar to crispy fried chicken, so delish! And you are offered your cole slaw, potato salad, potato pancakes, and fries! Everything you need in life, okay maybe just for a satisfying dinner! I would recommend for a weekend night! Friday night should be reserved for a fish fry, and since I have lived in this area, this seems to be my favorite place to grab some great food and a beer!

The food here is always great and the staff is always very friendly. Ive been going there for over three years now. On saturday night they usually have prime rib that is simply the best I have ever had. The wings are great, they have a few sauces or dry rubs to choose from. I really love this place, we go here often.

I have been eating here for over 15 years. The food never disappoints. The Friday fish fry is the best I have found in Lake Country. The prime rib on Saturday is always excellent. The waitstaff is very friendly. Free live music on the weekends. Can't go wrong.

In my searches for a good local fish fry, we've decided this is our place. The fish has always been excellent. There is usually a selection of locally caught fresh fish, so you get something beyond the typical cod fish fry. On the down side, this is not the place to go for a quiet intimate experience. Then again, a fish fry is not likely to provide that anyway. Since this has not been included in the other reviews, this establishment is primarily a bar. They do have live music on the weekends, and host the "Nashotah Blues Fest" every summer.

Hey, this little gem deserves a nod! If you're from Wisconsin, you have fish-fry in your blood. You seek it, you crave it, you don't know why because it's just fried fish, but you can't resist. I know how you feel. And I have my standards. My fish fry must have the following: Salted rye bread Potato salad Potato pancakes with applesauce Good selection of fish Good batter or breading Coleslaw Lemon wedges Tartar sauce Good beer accompaniment I rate each of these (except wedges) on a scale of 1-3 (1=OK, 2=Good, 3=Great), so a perfect score would be a 25. Nashotah Clubhouse meets many of these criteria. Salted rye: 2 Potato salad: 2 Potato pancakes with applesauce: 2 Fish selection: 3 Batter: 2 Coleslaw: 2 Wedges: yes. (1) Tartar sauce: 2 Beer accompaniment: 3 (Bells Two-Hearted on TAP?! this should get a 5!!) For a total of: 18 out of 25. Not bad, Clubhouse, not bad.

The burgers and ribs are great and the pizzas are made from scratch. I hated this place before the smoking ban, but now it is a much better place to eat.

After eating at the nation's number one rate burger joint, we went to The Nashotah Clubhouse for a burger and Bloody Marys. The burgers were FAR superior to the chain restaurant's. I chose to try the chicken wings and they were SUPER. We ate sitting at the bar, but looked into the small dining area...clean and airy. I'm definately a fan of the food. The customers were friendly, as was Don, the barkeeper and our waitress was charning. Did I say the drinks were GREAT?? Well, they WERE!! Definately drop into this little place for a good time. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but I'll be back in the near future.

Wow. What a pizza! Their wings on Monday and Wednesday nights are awesome...meaty and flavorful. Best burger around. Fish fry on Friday nights and FREE live music every weekend. This place is a gem. They even have a smoking area outside for those of us that like a smoke with our cocktails.
