Riding through on my bike from Wausau to Stevens Point I stopped in this cafe. I was tired, hungry, and my phone was dead. Not only did M give me great service but she also let me use her charger while I was there. The food was great. I had a BLT and the cook who I met was super nice and made it to perfection. They both need raises. I will stop in again the next time I am in the area.

Great service, friendly staff, pretty average food. Didn't give it 4 stars because the baked potato was only 3/4-baked, the color was boiled out of the mixed veggies and the garlic toast wasn't toasted but browned on the griddle, which gave it a bit of a burnt taste and over-saturated texture. Not much excuse for it when we are the only ones in the place.

great hometown atmosphere! love the eggs benedict. wonderful staff and you don't have to wait long for your food. Amazing omelets! Good amount of food for the prices.

I don't know where to start...if you like incredible American food this is your place. We were just flying through, and it was recommended to us as a good local mom-and-pop place. If you like locally owned, friendly service, well-equipped salad bars, and homemade pies you will not be disappointed! I'm currently enjoying their homemade Swedish meatballs and it makes me want to go shop at IKEA and buy a Volvo. I truly could not say more good things about this place. Definitely worth checking out!
