    Yes, I am reviewing a Starbucks. The reason for this review was for the exceptional service I received here this past weekend. My wife has been saving the points up on her Starbucks rewards card (a gold card). It turns out that you have to cash in free drinks within 30 days on your card now, and they can not be stored and used when ever you like. So instead of have multiple free drinks on her card for us to use, we only had 1 free one. The employee at the counter explained this new rule to us, and still hooked us up with a second free drink any size/ any kind of our choice. It was truly awesome customer service! So thank you lady employee behind the register this last Easter Sunday around noon. Other things I noticed about this Starbucks, it was very clean, a well organized pastry/muffin area. There is no drive thru, so that kinda sucks. I counted at least 3 people working behind the counter, so staffed properly. Our drinks were made quick and tasted great! 4 out of 5 only because it is a Starbucks and there are just so many of them (its not original). Again, excellent customer service!

    This Starbucks has great and friendly staff and is always clean, which is excellent. Although I there are always improvements to be made: 1) turn down the music in the back -- I like to go and do work at coffee shops and it is hard to concentrate there because of the volume of their music. 2) Turn up the heat! I know this is hard because everyone is different, but when everyone who is sitting at tables are still wearing their coats in Fall like weather inside, I think it is safe to turn it up a little. Hope this is helpful! I do recommend this Starbucks though. The renovation is beautiful.

    Yes its Starbucks and I prefer Ancora, but.this Monona location has the best service, friendliest staff you will find. It's often busy at 9 am but it's fast as one could expect. I've been to the others and it's no contest, Monona rules. No drive through, but I find the staff so good I don't mind coming in.Very well run.

    I only drink their teas and they are fine. The nice aspect of this store is the employees. They make the difference between this coffee shop and other places. Case in point, I was in line when a woman handed the barista a card with her order. The barista read the card, rang her up, took payment, smiled and then gave the hand sign for 'thank you'. Super sweet.

    Starbucks Monona previously had a sort of drab smallish interior. Since they reopened last week after their remodel, things have changed. Gone is the smallish interior, replaced with a mantra of working with the space we have and making it look like a whole new store within a same exterior. To explain it to someone who doesn't live here, it looks more like the Starbucks in Old San Juan in terms of Interior, maybe on a smaller scale. You have a similar layout of Grand seating area in the front, and a similar small walkway leads into a new seating area in the back, replacing the staff room.

    Line was super long but the wait was actually short. I was really happy to get my coffee and heated butter croissant quickly after I ordered. Very efficient staff and and clean shop. I'm going to be a regular here. Top: there are two doors to enter---one in the back and one in the front.

    One thing I hate are super long lines. It's unnecessary and inefficient!!! But we all know how Starbucks can be. The team there lacks initiative so you can prepare yourself to wait awhile to get your order taken. Also the selection of goodies are low and sometimes they don't have enough.

    Yelp asked me what keeps me coming back. I strongly dislike that there is no drive-up, but the service here is fast and friendly. You can not say that too often about a Starbucks. It is as if they know it is a pain getting in that lot. However, they have never gotten my coffee wrong. I give them a four just for being so nice.

    So this Starbucks is a really nice one as far as comfort goes. It's big, a lot of seats a nice fireplace and the bathrooms have been pretty clean each time I've been there. My problem here is that they don't brew a blonde roast. You have to get a pour over if you want it. Normally that would be fine, but at this location they can not seem to remember they started one. On 3 different occasions I have watched my coffee sit there getting cold. After almost 10 min one time I got an apology... But normally it's about 5 min after it's been done that you get it (after asking). No apology... Just here. It's kinda sad. It would have gotten a 5 star, but they forget you. It would have been 4 star... But no apology.

    It's a Starbucks, they're friendly, prompt, and consistant. Easy on/off the beltline. No drive through, but the Fitchburg drive through is a joke anyway.

    If you're comparing this to the other Starbucks in the Madison area, it has been my experience that this one is the best. Clean, friendly, fast, and the drinks are done even more carefully here.

    Such a pain in the butt just to get in and get parked, but I was cold and in need of a warm up for my drive home. I figured it'd be a quick little stop, but it was more than 20 minutes to get back out the door on a Sunday afternoon (3pm ish) and that's just really unacceptable. First I waited in line for 10ish minutes. There was just one mom/daughter in front of me, but it took absolute ages for the guy to take their order and get them settled. At no point did the person working the espresso machine or one of the other two people behind the counter get my order so my drink could be started. The ordering process was ok if a little fumbled, but at that point I was already wondering what the hold up was. I then waited another 10 minutes for my drink. The person working the espresso machine seemed incapable of making more than one drink at a time. Another employee couldn't get a container of strawberry syrup open and eventually three of them were working on it. If this is how traffic moves through there when no one is in line, how do they handle a morning rush? It's the only Starbucks between campus and heading back to Milwaukee, but I think I'll be settling for gas station coffee in the future - it's not worth going back for this and dealing with the hassle.

    I have received some very good coffee here, to their credit. But no drive through sucks and they still have too small of a seating area like most SBs. There is a Peets right across the street and I believe a Steep n Brew just down the road. I'm going to try there from now on and see who can win my business.

    Nice location. Clean and friendly employees. Most of the time it's quiet enough to get some studying done. I like how they have 2 different areas to sit in.

    Waiting 18 minutes for an American is a bit sad and truly should not be happening at Starbucks. This is the 2nd time I've been disappointed by this site. Poor management and training of staff is very evident.
