The best fish fry I have ever been to. Walleye poached in lemon butter, yum yum. The service was pretty good, and the location is nice. The salad bar they offer has cheese curds, which was a wonderful surprise. I highly recommend this place.

Ok, we stopped for drinks while on a road trip. The bar as it currently is, is beautiful. All new furnishings and well designed. Much different than other places in the area. We had planned to eat there as well. The bar staff was very good. When done with drinks, we decided to eat in their dining room. The fact that no one else was there should have told us something. The room was nicely set up with tablecloths etc. However, the service was terrible. The food I had (shrimp) was exceedingly average and very expensive for what you got. We had to ask to place our orders, did not have silverware for everyone, had to track down the server for the bill, had to ask for bread at the salad bar (bread was old). Just not what you expect for that amount of money. If I was to go back, it would only be for drinks at the bar. The rest of the experience is forgettable. The view is nice, but many places in the area have nice views. Sorry about going on and on. FYI, the place has changed completely since summer 2014.

Absolutely fantastic setting, right on the Minong Flowage, Pogo's has a lot going for it. We ate there on 7-28-14 with a party of 4, with entrees ranging from the thin crust pizza to 8 oz. sirloin. Our friend actually had the staff prepare her a grilled chicken/eggplant combo that wasn't even really on the menu, THAT'S how accommodating they are here. Owner Richie (a fellow Chicagoan) stopped by to make sure all was well and our server, Katie was exceptional in every way! The pizza is very Chicago, which up here in the Northwoods is a VERY good thing. They don't skimp on anything with very generous toppings and tremendous crust. I asked for it extra-crispy, and that's what I got! Outstanding! Can't wait to go back for the weekend karaoke. Very fun atmosphere!

Once you've had Pogo's pizza, you will find yourself craving it again and again. The sauce, the garlic, the crust, everything is incredibly delicious.

Used to have amazing food across the menu. Now I would recommend the pizzas. They're amazing!! Love the deep dish pizza. Plus, my dad is friends with the owner, Richie. Again, I've been eating at this place longer than I can remember. Great for a pizza and a beer and lots of friendly conversation with locals.

Pogos has the best pizza around! I highly recommend their new stuffed pizza. You will love the crust. Their sauce and sausage is the best and their toppings are always fresh. Enjoy!

All I've had here was the thin crust pizza, but boy is it good. You can get as many toppings on as you want for the same price, and they don't skimp. Very cheesy too! This is our place to go in the area for pizza.
