Rained out camping so we decided to try a pizza place. We had cheesy garlic bread and pizza. Both were very good. Definitely a little gem in the middle of this small down. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took an hour for our food to come and that seemed long. The food though ended up being worth the wait!!

Visiting family in Merrill and we decided it was too late to cook so decidied on pizza. No one had been to Hugo's so we gave it a try. The pizza was excellent! We had four large pizzas--pepperoni, veggie, Reuben and Hawaiin. The crust has a dusting of cornmeal, the veggies were fresh, and the Reuben was unusual and very good. We'll be back!

This place has some of the best, most unique pizza in the area. Our favorite is their Rueben pizza (yes, just like the sandwich); however I don't think we've ever had one of theirs we don't like! They have all the ol' stand-by's, but also offer things like the Cowboy, Backyard BBQ, and Taco pizzas. They also have a whole wheat crust option that's delish and a little healthier. :) The only downside to this restaurant is that the food takes awhile, but its definitely worth the wait. Recently we've called ahead to order and then they had it ready shortly after we arrived, which worked great!

I am a visitor up here in Merrill, and had a taste for some pizza. I went with getting a pizza from here and one from Pizza hut (so if I didn't like Hugo's, which I did, I could still eat some good pizza.) Hugo's is absolutely delicious. It was a cheese pizza, and it had the a good tasting, crunchy crust, and it tasted like any great pizza, actually better. Anyone who wants to eat some great pizza and is in the area should eat here!
