Excellent pizza!! We came up for a basketball tournament and took several players. They absolutely loved it! We really did have to fold our large slices. Service was great, and our NY style sausage pizza was hot and ready in minutes!

We have been ordering from Leonardo's for years now at my company, and it has never failed. The food is always delicious!! Tried the bbq chicken a few weeks ago, and it is my new personal favorite. I can't get enough of it!!

I am happy their business is in Mequon and not Grafton. If it were the latter I would be 600 lbs and flat broke. I think it's crack.

My husband and I had dinner here a few nights ago and weren't very impressed. The man who took our order was very curt and not very personable. We almost felt like we inconveniencing him. We ordered their new special, the buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza was very one-dimensional, I believe it was only buffalo sauce, chicken, and cheese. It could have used some celery for crunch and maybe a blue cheese sauce base for creaminess. Also, the pizza was floppy and a bit soggy towards the middle, which made it hard to eat. I would get a pizza from Costco before coming here again.

We called in for takeout on a weekday. The person who answered the phone was incredibly short and a bit rude. I ordered a pizza and some cheese bread and was told it'd be ready in 25 minutes. When I arrived, I expected to see lots of people in the restaurant. Or, an indication that the rude phone interaction was a result of a busy night. But there wasn't anyone in the restaurant. Again, I was treated rudely when I walked up to the counter to pay. The word "Name" was shouted at me as I approached. "What's that?", I said. "What's your name", he answered. I said my name, and he went off to grab the order. No "hi there; how are you; enjoy the pizza!". Nothing. When we got the pizza home, 3 of the pieces were crushed by the box (though I was careful not to move it during transit). The cheese bread wasn't cooked through and we had to put it in the oven before we could eat it.

As far as pizza places go that pizza by the slice, this place is far from special. The sauce was quite runny and there's no specialty pizzas to choose from because you pay for each individual topping on your slice. If you want good pizza by the slice, save yourself the trouble and make the drive to Sal's Pizza in Cedarburg.

Worst employees ever. I was on a business conference call at check out and the employee was a prick about it. He threw the pen at me after I gave him MY CREDIT CARD and asked, "are you talking to me or the phone." Obviously the phone tubbo. I will never spend any sort of currency there again.

Pizza is the best around. As long as you don't care that the employ the most unpleasant people possible it is worth the trip out there. Sit close enough to the cash register and you can hear them insult whoever they served last as they walk away. Whatever I'm still eating there cause its some awesome pizza.

I've eaten here countless times - growing up nearby this was my fix for many years while growing up. Working by here has also resulted in many lunches here. I usually stick to their thin crust NYC style pizza as I think it is one of the best in the North Shore area yet the sandwiches and lunch specials that change on a daily basis are also really good. They have a meatball sandwich, calzone, 2 slice combo, and a few other that rotate daily for lunch to try something different each day while MASH plays in the background. Yes, the pizza is greasy and comes with your standard toppings yet it ALWAYS hits the spot of what I'm looking for. It's just like Sollys, you can't eat it every day, but it always delivers when you do eat it...and you'll have cravings for it. Definitely worthwhile stopping at in the area or getting it delivered if you live nearby.

I really like Pizza Hut but after this place, we have converted! We got the NY pizza as suggested and boy, it was HUGE!! Bang, for the buck, check! They gave it to us sizzling hot so it was agonizing to wait about 10 minutes for it to cool down before we could actually eat it. :( Meanwhile, we were watching FoodNetwork on the TV screens so we weren't complaining much. Anyway, it tasted good but the bottom part was a bit soggy. Still, we loved the ambience, service, and freshness of the pizza. We'll be back.

This is the only and best NYC pizza on the Northshore. Fold it over and pack it in! Hidden off of Mequon Rd., Leonardo's knows how to represent the 212. Their pies are hand tossed and laid with a foundation of personal toppings that will make your mouth water. Not sure if they use a starter for their dough. Will have to update my review after I find out. Interior lacks, so plan on taking your pie to go. Great sandwiches and pastas, too, that can be customized for catering. I've used them for catering several times. They're always on-time and dependable. They'll also do their best to accomodate dietary needs. I always appreciate when an establishment goes out of their way to move away from the staple menu and work to create a positive customer experience. Chewy, soft, crispy.... you'll find it in their original pizza crust. Be sure to check their website for coupons. If I'm looking for a thin crust pizza- Leonardo's is my choice. They don't mess around.

A near perfect rating describes this place very well. Offering New York style pizza at fair prices, Lenny's is a great stop in the mequon area. The sauce is great and the crust is nearly perfect! Also offering weekday specials, Lenny's has something for everyone. Try the calzones! They are big and stuffed with tons of toppings! They even serve Philly cheesesteaks here! Enjoy real Italian at Lenny's!

Thin crust but no grease on your hands?! AMAZING. We tried a sausage pizza. An entire sausage pizza at 11am before your big interview? Yes. It was glorious. Big ol' bites of pork sausage tucked under a layer of cheese. I hope I can come back soon.

Been here twice and twice I've been served crusty old pizza. I also tried their calzone, the place just feels of the lowest effort and similar quality. You never feel like you're welcome when you order, they hire thuggish youths. I saw their delivery boy 'sway' outside, get in his car, rev up his engine then get some wheel spin and take off. The most atrocious of all might be that I saw my pizza and calzone be shoved onto plates by the cashiers hands. No gloves, here let me handle some bills, touch the counter, press the register then enjoy all that extra flavouring on your food as my hands enhance it! Dreadful place, pizza below school cafeteria standards.

Love the pizza! Always eat there so I don't know what delivery is like but I never leave Leonardo's hungry. I get pepperoni and jalapeños on my pizza. Yum!

I, mean, I like it... The atmoshere is terrible. Like really terrible. But, the food is good. Decent New York pizza, with great delivery service. The salads are OK too. They are totally reliable!

I'm from New York, the offer the best pizza here compare to domino, Pizza Hut and papa johns. But recently I stop ordering their pizza cuz I find a long hair in the pizza.

Is seldom I order from here, when I do its typically for larger luncheon meetings with my staff. They've not once messed up our order nor have I had any complaints from my staff about the food. Today I decided to order for myself. After much debate I decided on the pizza burger hot sub with a side order of the cream cheese jalapeño poppers. I gotta say I'm pretty pleased. Leonardo's will continue to get a 5 star rating from me!

Stopped in and tried the buffalo chicken pizza. Their buffalo chicken pizza needs some work before I'd try it again. Crust was quite floppy in the center of the pizza. Recommend trying this place, but don't expect much.

The pizza is pretty good, but I'm not a big NY pizza fan. What I really like from Leonardo's is the lasagna. This is awesome, cheesy, deliciousness. Comes with garlic bread (which is good) and a salad (salad is just OK).

Stopped in for the Monday special and picked mostaciolli over the spaghetti. Good choice! Cheesy goodness. Was surprised to get a ver nice salad and garlic bread too. Yummy goodness. I can't cook meatballs this delicious! Love their pizza as well.

I LOVE the pizza and have been dining her since childhood but the last 2 years that I have ordered from Leo's over the phone they are so incredibly rude. Tonight I am ordering pizza and just because I don't want to deal with their attitude, I will be ordering elsewhere. Customer service can go a long way and unfortunately they need to improve.

Saw all the great reviews on yelp and stopped by with the wife. I'm sad to say I don't get what the hype is about? The crust was nice with a good chewy cornicone. There were hints of char but no real leopard spotting that great pizza has in my opinion. The sauce however was way too thin and watery which really ruined the pizza. In fairness we asked for extra sauce which even with a thin crust is not a problem with a thick hearty sauce. However the thinness led to pools of moisture that caused the middle third of the pizza to be extremely soggy and runny. The pizza did not taste that salty as we ate but by the time we got home I felt as if my tongue was coated with it. Overall I'm sorry to say I was not that impressed.

Underwhelmed. We stopped while in town for a swim meet. They seemed very busy with pizza take out, so I assume their pizza is OK. My mostaccioli and meatballs was nothing special - especially the meatballs - they were like eating some kind of somewhat slimy mystery meat. My wife's lasagna was similar, not awful and not something you'd return for. Our sons calzone was alright and my daughters pizza slices were as well. Our good with no drinks came to $35 and so for the money, I would find another place to try.

We initially got a Sicilian style pizza a couple months ago, not our favorite, greasy and heavy. Desperate to find a satisfactory pizza on our area to our liking, we decided to give the NY style a shot. In a word, excellent! Awesome crust , tasty sauce, and cheese was good. I am sooo happy to discover this place all over again- will be the goto for us from now on.

Excellent pizza! Really tasty! Fast delivery! The atmosphere is terrible (the main reason why I chose home delivery), but the pizza is really tasty.

I am from NYC and I admit am a pizza snob. This place is the real deal. Delish NY pizza and the mozzarella sticks are equally great. Have not yet tried the rest f the food, but I am sure it is great. The pizzeria is in the style of a typical NY pizza place, and it even has slices! When I miss NY I go here! Would have gotten five stars, but the fifth star is what you get when you are actually a great pizza place in NYC!

One of the best pizzas I ever had! Its a bit far from where I live, which is a good thing. :)

Best real pizza I have had outside of Manhattan. Thanks Lenny's! I am moving to Mequon in July and its part of the reason.

Five stars. Excellent pizza! Fast delivery...I live on the cutoff of Brown Deer and Mequon and they still delivered. This is my new favorite pizza!!

The pizza is great, but I really enjoy the hot sandwiches and the calzones. Co-workers and I have been coming here at lunch for years now, and Leos never disappoints. They've got specials every day, but we usually end up there on Wednesdays (sandwich special) or Thursdays (calzone special). I like the chicken or sausage parm sandwich, and the pepperoni/spinach calzones. The crew working the place are very personable as well.

Leonardo's is great. You might not expect to find seriously tasty NY style slices in back of a strip mall, but here you go. I always thought "authentic" new york pies would disillusion my enjoyment of Leonardo's, but it hasn't happened. Leonardo's makes greasy, floppy, cheesy pizza with the best of them.

  • Jabo E.

Yikes! NY pizza delicioso! No fuss and very fast indeed. Passed my cheese pizza test and my four year old loved the cheese bread. I can't wait to come back for more....maybe a calzone or spaggetti next time? Great place. Easy walk from the JCC waterpark. This is not one of those thin-gee-golly-was-that-a cracker-or-a-pizza-wanna-be experience. Solid food and good service.

  • Barnaby J.

Really tasty, really fast. Yes, it's a greasy slice of New York style pizza, but that's all it's trying to be. If you want fancy, sit down restaurant pizza, go to someplace down the road. But for fast, delicious pizza, Leonardo's is perfect.

This place is the real deal - true NY style pizza. Thin, chewy crust, tomato-ey sauce, great cheese. Folds like a proper slice should! (Just wait for it to cool first!)

  • Scott O.

Lenny's serves one of the best NY slices I've had outside of the 5 boroughs. Stretchy, slightly salty cheese, a great sauce, and a perfect crust that is snappy and chewy. Simply the best pizza in SE Wisconsin.

  • Rich T.

delicious new york style big slice pizza. The sausage is pretty good but their pepperoni is some of the best i've ever tasted. I wonder where they get it. Anyway, their wings are great, too. They're fried and breaded and the heat, which is substantial, gets locked in. There's no escape! Leo's is always timely on pickups and deliveries. A true North Shore staple! man, I'm the king of fragments, aren't I?

We picked up a pizza to go from Leonardo's just because we happened to be in the area and felt hungry. We didn't even check Yelp first (the horror!). It's a good pizza. The toppings (sausage and mushroom) were plentiful and fresh. And the sauce was nice. All and all, the best delivery option in the area.
