A local treasure! Well worth the drive! Scenic drive as well! I ate: 1. Walley - best I ever had! Why? Select filet that was perfectly cooked, and more importantly for me - not oily!!! 2. Prime rib - WOW! After traveling all over the U.S., and trying prime rib, East to West, North to South, Turtle Club gets my vote for the tenderest, most flavorfull ever! Awesome! Great beer selection too with Spotted Cow! The owners and wait staff are awesome! Rating: normally I would reserve 5-stars for a top European style restaurant. For northern Wisconsin, the Turtle Club's food quality, presentation, pricing, on-lake location, and cleanslieness, I have to rate them at least 4.5 stars!

Great food, lake view & prices. It's a little off the beaten path but worth the drive from Medford. I learned that broasted chicken is a fried type chicken...crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside. Yummy! Fried pickle spears were hot & delicious. Staff were super friendly & wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Very nice visit.
