One of the better places around Lodi Great Broasted Chicken Dinner special during the week. Some things are a little pricy but if the food is good and consistent I'll pay for that. We love getting April for a server she knows how to treat customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. We have stopped at this place several times in the past few months. The first two times were mediocre at best. My biggest issue is around the terribly managed staff and lack thereof. This place could be amazing as their menu is great and on the higher end of pricing for non-typical food at a bar. This time was a Monday night and only one server plus the bartender. We were not greeted at all and went to the hostess stand and stood for several minutes before the familiar and extremely unfriendly server said "it's going to be at least a half hour before anything happens for you". There was no "hi-we are busy but will do our best" or anything that resembled being friendly. This is July-the summer vacation season and no staff and worse yet-one that is very unfriendly. I have had decent food here in the past but c'mon Fish Tales--put it together or you'll be gone. Range Rover, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes, and Lexus in your parking lot tonight--am guessing based on service that they won't be back. How many tries do you think you will get before they don't come at all? I would highly recommend another restaurant in O'kee just a few miles down the road--Fitz's--indoor and outdoor seating and always plenty of friendly and accommodating staff!

Quick review: stellar baked fish - some of the best I've ever sampled, with nary a sign of grease, oil, or butter - just the way baked fish should be served. Loved the atmosphere, service was unbelievably good, and the price for dinner was more than fair. For a full review, please visit my site - I hate writing duplicate reviews... my profile has a link to the complete review. In short: go here. Everything looked amazing, including the steaks, which threw us for a loop, because you wouldn't expect to see a good steak at a place called "Fish Tales." WINNING.

Went there with my family while vacationing in the area. Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere was good and not too long of a wait. If you go get fish, it was super fine.

First experience was good. Walleyed pike and a fish sandwich. Second try felt like a smokey and noisy tavern. Fakey log cabin atmosphere, not terrible, but it would be nicer if the bar was isolated from the restaurant, or GONE. Better choices nearby. The walleye was good, but with a 50% chance of it being noisey and smokey, I probably won't go back again.

This lakefront Wisconsin supper club has a corny name and a rustic but non-descript atmosphere. But it distinguised by excellent seafood in large portions as well as friendly and helpful service. Of a party of seven, a number of us had walleye prepared in two diffferent ways, both great. An order of sea scallops was generous with huge, nice cooked ones. Stuffed mushrooms with a crab/crumb filling and a marsala cheese sauce were terrific too, as was a wild mushroom bisque. Prime rib portions are huge. No one had room for dessert.

Too much cheese on the pizza. Crab appetizer tasted like fake crab meat (although they assured me it was real crab).
