The Best Chinese food! My husband and I, as well as my family, order take out from this restaurant because everything is good. Our favorite is Pork and Broccoli, but we have tried and liked many different dishes. When we order food from here we always get an order of Crab Rangoon because they make the best!

After a long day of skiing, me and my cohorts were famished. Fitz's nourished us back to health so that we could continue our long journey home. This is a very relaxed local bar type of place. The service was good and so was the fish fry. I tried the haddock and I wasn't disappointed. I was disappointed in the fried lobster bits, but I shoulda known that might happen. It was a high risk/high reward situation. Don't drop the $11 on making this a luxurious side item. Other than the lobster, I have no complaints and I'd like to try some of the fish they have to offer. The salad bar that is included with all entrees is a nice touch, as it was nice to eat some leafy G's before engorging myself with fried food. If I'm out at Devil's Head again, I'm sure I'll be back.
Great food and drinks right on the lake. The owners are very nice to visit with too!!
Had a grilled chicken sandwich. Fries are extra but worth it. Everything came out quick and hot. Hubbie had the corn & shrimp chowder and made a meal of it. Said it was delicious. Down home bartender with a trivia of the day topped it all off!

Good, clean, basic, local family place. Mostly booths, a few stools. Good assortment of the usual items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are average for cozy little diners like this. Busy Saturday for lunch but no wait. Waitress was very good -- efficient, friendly. Waffle and Denver omelet were average. Tables were cleared promptly, (carpeted) floor was clean, unstained and not worn thin and seating was clean and not ripped or tattered (as is common in small diners). We'll return to this decent little place.

We were in the area and needed to kill some time before we met up with the rest of our family/party, and before the trip I had researched places to get a beer at and I figured this was perfect for its location and the fact that it was open at the time we needed it to be. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, which worked in our favor, so keeping an open mind is the name of the game, especially during adventures. We strolled in on a Friday around 1:30-2pm so we were quickly greeted with stares from the locals, but we took a seat at the bar and the bartender happily handed us menus and took our drink orders. They had limited offerings on tap but just what we needed: Wisconsin beer. The Friday special is all you can eat spaghetti, but we were more in the mood for burgers and sandwiches. I ordered a cheeseburger with pepper jack and my lady ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Our bartender thanked us for the order, and then headed to the kitchen to make the two dishes which was pretty cool; completed the idea of a nice small-town feel. The building itself is dated, but that may be what adds to its charm. They also have pool and video slot machines (comes complete with an old man changing seats every five minutes) a nice patio/dock area and plenty of televisions. What I really liked is the fact that they have their own dock, so you can arrive by boat if you want to cross the lake for a cold one. I didn't realize how close the bar was to our spot until I was out kayaking and saw their gazebo; I could have almost swum there. Of course I would have to be pretty desperate for a beer at that point, and then I would have some problems I would need to get help for... But overall this place served the purpose and made for a nice, cozy place to relax and pass the time. If I find myself in the area again I'm certainly stopping by.

It was okay. We had pretty good fish. Not the nicest table. View of the lake was okay. Just sort of a supper club kind of place. There are other places nearby we like better that have better prices.

Typical diner food. After a long road trip and crappy rest stop food this was a great place to eat real food. I was afraid because I am a vegetarian and diners usually make me sick, but I felt just peachy after eating here. I had a feta veggie omelet and it was tasty. The coffee was a bit watered down, but if your on a trip through Wisconsin and looking for some real food this is a decent place to stop.

One of the better places around Lodi Great Broasted Chicken Dinner special during the week. Some things are a little pricy but if the food is good and consistent I'll pay for that. We love getting April for a server she knows how to treat customers.
If I could give zero stars I would. We have stopped at this place several times in the past few months. The first two times were mediocre at best. My biggest issue is around the terribly managed staff and lack thereof. This place could be amazing as their menu is great and on the higher end of pricing for non-typical food at a bar. This time was a Monday night and only one server plus the bartender. We were not greeted at all and went to the hostess stand and stood for several minutes before the familiar and extremely unfriendly server said "it's going to be at least a half hour before anything happens for you". There was no "hi-we are busy but will do our best" or anything that resembled being friendly. This is July-the summer vacation season and no staff and worse yet-one that is very unfriendly. I have had decent food here in the past but c'mon Fish Tales--put it together or you'll be gone. Range Rover, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes, and Lexus in your parking lot tonight--am guessing based on service that they won't be back. How many tries do you think you will get before they don't come at all? I would highly recommend another restaurant in O'kee just a few miles down the road--Fitz's--indoor and outdoor seating and always plenty of friendly and accommodating staff!
Quick review: stellar baked fish - some of the best I've ever sampled, with nary a sign of grease, oil, or butter - just the way baked fish should be served. Loved the atmosphere, service was unbelievably good, and the price for dinner was more than fair. For a full review, please visit my site - I hate writing duplicate reviews... my profile has a link to the complete review. In short: go here. Everything looked amazing, including the steaks, which threw us for a loop, because you wouldn't expect to see a good steak at a place called "Fish Tales." WINNING.

Lucky’s Bar & Grille - On The Lake

Reviews:
We were very disappointed by the quality of the food at Lucky's on Lake Wisconsin. The clamp chowder was very thick, without any clamp pieces, and taste like it had come from a can a long time previous. We had the lake perch fry - I'm not sure what lake this fish came from, but perch from Lakes Michigan & Superior do not yield 3 1/2" × 9" fillets. The batter was quite oily and fell off the fish when attempting to eat. OK, now the reason for not giving a one star rating - the staff, the mac n cheese bites and that view. The bartenders made a ver good cocktail at a good price. Our server, Ivy, was as sweet as could be, and she genuinely seemed to make our experience great. The fried mac n cheese was killer! A surprise to be sure. They were nice and creamy and flavorful. The view speaks for itself. In summary - go for the smiles, view and bites; not dinner.
The best thing about Lucky's is the view. The menu has tons of variety, and I really want to like Lucky's but... I can't. I've been there a few time hoping that with time the kinks of a new restaurant would get worked out, but the service continues to be incredibly slow. It's hard to say if the problem is the waitstaff or poor timing in the kitchen. Entrees seem as if they spend a long time under heat lamps... fries aren't hot and salads are wilted. On my last (and final) visit I got a nasty case of food posioning from some nachoes It is so disappointing because as others have stated there is so much potential here. And because they are on Lake Wisconsin and can easily stay busy with vacationers, they are not likley to fix the problems.
We've tried Lucky's twice now (because of the location), and had negative experiences both times. It feels like amateurs are running the place. Walk in to be seated and you'll have multiple employees walk by and not acknowledge you- there is an obtrusive spiral staircase to the lighthouse as soon as you walk in, basically in the way of everything (a lighthouse?) To the left there is a dining room overlooking the lake adorned in Lodi High School garb (seems weird....and cheap). Between the dining room and bar there is outdoor seating overlooking the lake. We opted to eat at a table in the bar- they had outdoor music, windows open so you could hear it, yet- the juke box was also on so everyone could hear both. (seriously- not one employee noticed this?) If you sit at the bar, your back is to the lake- giving the bartender the best view. The decor = a 90s poster of Michael Jordan and some Wisconsin beer signs. After a bit of a wait the waitress came by and asked if we'd ever been there before. Nope. Her response "oh, what can I get you to drink?" huh? Not try this, or we're known for this, etc. Why did you ask the question? Beer list is just ok. Ordered a burger and a sandwich. Asked for the burger medium rare, came out well done (based on other reviews, this seems to be a theme). I would've told the waitress, but she didn't come back. We flagged down the bartender for our bill. On our way out we noticed a sign in the back corner of the bar with daily specials- would've been nice to know. Food was just ok. Lake prices for food off a Sysco truck. Nothing local. Our second trip- after waiting for service for 17 minutes we walked out. We were seated at a dirty table- the tables that did have ppl had empty plates and empty drinks. Waitress had no sense of urgency or ability to multi-task she'd take a drink order, enter drink order, wait for drink order, bring drinks to same table (walking by us not even acknowledging us) take food order, repeat. We figured it would be another 20 minutes for her to get to us. Overall, employees are not trained (or just don't care), decor is strange (downstairs= Caribbean theme, so 4 different styles) like they couldn't make up their mind, and the food is nothing special. The place is not well run- It's July, and the lake bar has a drab winter picture on their website. We won't be back until we see reviews that the place has really turned around.

Hubby & I went to this Rocky's/A&W DeForest Exit & we were really let down. When we went to the A&W counter there was a guy waiting in line to order. Turns out that he was an employee & told that he could wait. Cashier took hubby's order first, he ordered a fish sandwich with extra tarter sauce & fries. He received a fish sandwich with mayo. He was offered something while he waited but hubby said no. I went to the Rocky side to place order for cheese pizza, waited 5 minutes. Finally the same guy from the A&W side took my order. Opened the box & the cheese was dark brown on top. The side crust was burnt (not brown but black). Took it back & was offered a slice of pepperoni I took it. Was removing the pepperoni & saw that the sides were also black so I cut the crust off. I complained to the manager again & he said sorry. That was it. Really wish that we had gone to another restaurant. Will never go to this place again. We make this trip every month but not to this place.
Pizza was not fresh - bread sticks were in the warmer too long - couldn't even cut the cheese pizza because it was sitting in the warmer too long. Their food standards are very poor.
