My wife and I went there on a Friday night the food and service was excellent. Very large portion eith my fish fry. The dinning room and restrooms were clean all and all a very enjoyable experience.

Back to the Viking, and it proved my first review (q.v.) wasn't a fluke. Unfortunately the occasion wasn't a happy one, (the unexpected death of a loved one) but I only menchen this 'cos the somber tone of the day was uplifted by the meal and environs. Everyone at the table ('cept me) was in the mood for Salad-as-Dinner, and Chef Shonna did not disappoint. Great big bowls with a fine mix of greens and other veggie stuff, topped with lashings of her home-made dressings. Wife added an expertly grilled Chicken Breast. We also had Shonna's Potato Salad which was creamy and fab. I opted for the "Stuffed Burger" which I must sadly report to my pals in Minneapolis knocked over the "Juicy Lucys" I had in the Twin Cities. It was a big-ass deluxe burger which looked and tasted like it was fresh ground beef shortly before cooking, and not from a freezer. It came on a big flufly bun, prepared just as I asked, with some great crispy Onion rings alongside. I had to do the Brandy Old-Fashioneds again, and they were big, well made, and tasty. As we were there under somewhat dire circumstances, I will say the fine meal, cold cocktails and convivial atmosphere eased the melancholy, and led to happy stories being told. A good Wisconsin Supper Club is a thing of beauty and a joy forever, and the Viking is most certainly a Good Wisconsin Supper Club!

This was a great place!! I, my parents, grandpa, uncle jason and his family eat here. I had Lenny penny chicken I think and kitty cattail, everyone else had a fish.. We all had the salad bar!!! It was very good... Quick service and very friendly.!!! I recommend this place..

We have been scoping out places for us to have our sons and future daughter in-laws rehearsal dinner snd remembered someone had told us about The Viking Supper Club. So we decided to give them a try. Hubby had the medium fish fry and received 3 good size pieces of fish which was more than enough for him. I had the Henny Penny chicken and got 4 pieces, again more than enough. More importantly the food was really good. Nice little salad bar and 2 different delicious soups along with your choice of potato rounded off the meal nicely. Oh, almost forgot about the warm breadsticks, sooo good. While the food is very important to us, especially when you are bringing in 30 people, we also had to look at the size of the place, how are the drinks, how pleasant is the staff and did we feel they could handle that size party.yes, yes and yes. From the moment we walked in they made us feel like we had been there a thousand times. Shonna the resident cook and part owner came out to meet us and seemed genuinely happy to want to host our party. We found our venue, but we also will be back, after all there is a whole menu of good stuff we need to try.

Home town bar -super club!! great atmosphere. Quick attentive service. Amazing prime rib! Amazing saladbar and soup! And of course......good drinks......go to find the little green guy and you can get a free drink :)
