I always order the potato pancakes. They are awesome! This is a great place to eat! The variety on the menu is just right. Something for every type of eater from picky to adventurous. The service is great and attentive. There are a lot of home-made items that you must enjoy including the pies. If you are considering eating in the area, stop here and eat, you won't be disappointed.

Not Good! My first clue should have been when we walked in the hostess was dressed in nasty street clothes and a baseball cap! I ordered the Philly steak wrap, the beef was so nasty tasting I felt like gagging. I gave a piece to my dad and he also thought it tasted terrible and took it out of his mouth and threw it on the plate. I then told server to take it and bring me a cup of chili instead. Chili was mediocre, finished half but had already lost my appetite with the nasty beef! Guess that explains why there was only 5 total tables on a Sat night at prime dinner time. Eat elsewhere!

I have always had good service and the food is very good. If you haven't tried the fish boil yet I highly recommend it. Also my favorite is the eggs benedict.

Nothing is great about this place, while nothing is inedible either. Everything is incredibly bland. My father who lives in King goes here for the Mexican food. I think the only reason he eats it is because he had a poor sense of taste. My pasta literally tasted like they popped open a can of Heinz pasta sauce and dumped it on. Progresso tastes more authentic... How do you mess up pasta??? I've found ordering sandwiches a fairly safe practice when I eat here with my father. But you get something more complicated then that, then you will a pretty poor attempt at cooking something somewhat ethnic... It beats food served at the cafeterias at King, but just barely...

If you are going to put fettucine alfredo on the front of the menu, you better damn well know how to cook it. One of the garlic bread was burnt, and the fettucine alfredo was THICK and you could see pools of oil. Terrible, could not force myself to eat it more than a third of it .

How this place is 4 stars is beyond me. Probably the worst food I've had in a long time. Not much for choices in this town, so I trusted yelp to steer me clear from the bad places, and obviously didn't work. Ordered the fajitas cause it said you got free chips/salsa and margaritas for $2. Good deal right? Margarita literally tasted like just sweet sour mix, not even a hint of tequila, and salsa was very bland. Already had low expectations for food, and it didn't disappoint. Didn't even touch the rice or beans, guacamole looked old and sour cream came in a package. If you happen to come to this town, eat at the alehouse by comfort suites, food is not great, but the presentation is way better and beer is good

Good eats food was some of the better food in waupaca. Only concern bathroom hot water takes 5 min to get hot (do the employees wait that long to washup?)

Stopped in for dinner mid-week. The restaurant had a Mexican night special. They also offered half price beer special. I had a beef enchilada along with a few beers. The enchilada was very tasty, served hot and had Spanish rice and guacamole on the side. Several baskets of fresh tortilla chips with medium and hot sauce. Our waitress was courteous and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and the sound level was quiet. Casual attire. Booths and tables available.

We have eaten here before and it was k at best, but my 93 year old Dad wanted onion strings. Very slow service, one waitress, she took the order of two tables that came in after us. Shrimp dinner was popcorn size times two, more bread than meat, fries were soggy. My Mexican meal was not edible, not sure who is doing the cooking? We will never go back, even if the food is free.

Kings Table does a good job with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is good, prices are good. Service is reasonable. My issue? The salad bar actually is the worst I've even seen. Besides overall having a poor choice of items and how the look in terms of freshness, the place has no tomatoes anywhere near the salad bar or in the entire restaurant!

Breakfast is decent. It's the best breakfast place in Waupaca/King which is kinda sad. Defiantly don't eat here for lunch and dinner you meal will be both dry and bland.

Should not be advertised as a Mexican restaurant. My pork burrito was dry, even with the cup of melted cheese on it. Maybe the burgers and sandwiches were better.

FANTASTIC breakfast. Great omeletts and other "traditional" breakfast items. Choose the HOMEMADE sourdough or wheat toast!

This restaurant was reasonably close to the Comfort Suites, so we stopped for dinner. It had only one car in the lot; looked like everyone else was up the road at steak night . Our server was pleasant and searched through the cooler for my ordered Point Nude Beach beer (which was, btw, delicious). My sis and I weren't starving, so we ordered muchos nachos, which was a large platter of multi colored chips smothered in beef, beans and cheese. Along with the accompanying guacamole, salsa and sour cream, they were very satisfying. Nice local place to spend some money and help the King/Waupaca economy.

This is one of the few restaurants that I am familiar with in the area. When I go up to central Wisconsin most of my time is spent just north of here in Stevens Point. This is a local place that has a huge menu. The service is always fast and friendly and everything I have ever had here has been very good. I have been dining here since I was a kid when the family used to make more frequent trips up here to the area back in the late 70's and 80's. This pace has been completely rebuilt since them but they have never lost their sense of service or quality in all of these years.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
