Went for the first time last week. I can say I wasn't impressed. Staff was very friendly but if you needed anything you had to go up to the counter. I had to have my credit card charged separate for a tip. Pizza was pretty bland. One of the pizzas we ordered the crust was soggy. Way better pizza places if you want to travel 10-15 minutes. I would not recommend this place again.

One of my favorite places for a thin crust pizza. The environment is part of the experience and Butch's captures both. The decor is a bit dated but it is a warm, welcoming and laid back environment that is fun for the whole family. They have delicious appetizers and their thin crust pizza is unique and delicious! I would highly recommend giving them a try - originally being from Chicago my parents even love going there when they are in town...which says a lot with all the excellent thin crust pizza in the suburbs of Chicago. Unfortunately, I have moved....I still love this place and make a point of stopping in when I am passing through! Keep it up!!!

Outstanding experience. I think Butch's should receive an award for the most friendly employees. You pay when you order but the employees who deliver the food to the table are more than happy to get refills, and attend to you needs. A pitcher of soda is $1 with the order of a jumbo pizza. The topping are fresh and the veggies have some water weight so cooking the pizza extra crispy may be a good idea. They put the most cheese on the pizza in this part of Wisconsin, that's a lot! Delicious!!! The mozzarella garlic bread had a great flavor, they use a real garlic paste and a lot of cheese! The break could be baked a bit longer to support the garlic and cheese though. I will be returning often!

I have known Butch's Pizza since I was a kid. This is definitely some of the best pizza I have ever had. The meat lovers is fantastic and I love the super thin crust. I wish they delivered to Utah!

Stopped in tonight for the first time. Was simply driving by hungry, and decided to give it a try. I had a double Swiss, with a side of fries. I personally though the burger was pretty good. The burger was on the smaller side; not built for the hardy appetite, but well worth the $5.75 price tag. All in all, I was very happy with my meal here, and I will be back. Next time I'm trying the pizza though. The table next to me had a pizza that looked amazing.

One of the best thin crust pizza places in the valley. I have been a long time Butch's pizza enthusiast (since the mid-80s). Delivery was the normal oder for me until about a month ago. I decided to do the dine-in experience. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt. ...and the pizza, as always, was very delicious...and I will remain a Butch's customer for years to come.

We moved to Kimberly about a year ago and try to make it a point to eat locally. We were excited to see a family owned pizza place right down the street from our new house! We have now eaten there a few times and have decided that while not phenomenal, Butch's pizza is a good, local option when we want to skip Pizza Hut or Domino's. We have really only had the pizza and garlic bread from Butch's so I cannot comment on the rest of the food. The thin crust pizza is pretty good, although we find the sauce to be super salty... still good, but definitely plan on drinking a lot of water the rest of the day. The garlic bread is nothing to write home about, but it's bread and it's garlic so whatever. I usually go and pick up our order. No matter when we order it's pretty standard 20 minutes til pick up. The staff is super friendly and the one time they made a mistake were very apologetic and comped us the item they forgot to make. The restaurant is super small and honestly, I don't know that we would ever go in and eat there with a bigger family, but the dining in option seems popular. We had pizza delivered once and the delivery person was odd (didn't say anything, etc). Regardless, while it is not my favorite option in this area it definitely works for some quick pizza!

Found this place on yelp and thought I would give it a try. For a Wednesday it was pretty packed and with good reason. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni and tomato pizza that was really really delicious. Also ordered the garlic bread which was a bit disappointing. Too much bread and not enough flavor. The pizza was the star and I will definitely try this place again when I'm in town.

Doesn't cost a lot and it's the best pizza in in Appleton. Better than Frank's in quality and price.

We ordered takeout. First, they screwed up the order. I wanted deep fried cauliflower and I got deep fried mushrooms. Didnt realise that til i got home and took a bite. :-( We had a guest staying with us that wanted to try a "local" pizza. We thought of this place of course because Dominos and Pizza Hut aren't really "local". The pizza had a crust not unlike cardboard and we all thought we could have went to the gas station and got a frozen pizza that would have been better. I have never actually been in the place but when my husband went to pick up our order he said the place looked dirty and has seen better days. To be honest I drive by that place all the time and me and my husband both cant figure out why it's busy...in my opinion the pizza isn't great and from what I hear the building itself could use a good cleaning and an update. I guess if you're absolutely starving and your car breaks down in the Butches parking lot, give it a try but if there's any possible way you can make it to a local bar or the gas station, eat something there!

I had been here quite a few times. Then one time I got VERY sick at this place. It's an older establishment and has been around a while. It was the first time I had a bad experience here, plus the girl messed up our order in 3 different ways. I bad a brat, which I wanted no condiments on, because we were taking it home because of all the people there, which they put on anyway; a taco salad that was supposed to come without black olives; but they were on there anyway; and an appetizer we ordered and paid for but never received. I understand making mistakes especially when it's busy, but three mistakes, that was excessive. And then I got really sick besides. So when I called to talk to the manager or owner the manager was very nice and apologized, which was wonderful and said he would give the owner my name and number so he take care of me and rectify the situation. When I received the call from the owner he had obviously talked to the manager and knew the situation, but when I answered the phone and said a nice hello, I got a very grumpy "So you THINK my food made you sick!" in a very accusatory language. I proceeded to tell him about our food mix up that had happened, and that I understood it was busy and had many good experiences at his establishment before this happened, and that the night we got the food I laid awake all night with my stomach in painful twisted knots. The owner proceeded to yell and scream at me on the phone after I had relayed my experience to him. He proceeded to call me a 'liar' and said no one had ever gotten sick on any of the food he had ever served ever. That in all the years he has owned the place no one has every complained. Then he proceeded to say it was impossible that I got food poisoning that quick. All the while yelling and screaming at me. So I called the hospital and went online to research about food poisoning. On WebMD it says there are 250 different diseases that cause food poisoning, all of which act differently. The hospital told me food poisoning usually occurs 18-36 hours after ingestion of bad food, but not always and can happen as soon as 6 hours after eating bad food and as long as 10 days after eating bad food. What was really bad about this experience was being treated very nice by the manager and then getting screamed by the owner. And after I talked to him again he refused the fact that I could get it as soon as 6 hours after eating it. While not likely, the way he handled the situation put me off of this establishment forever. The fact is they still messed up our order very badly. My bun with condiments was VERY soggy by the time I got home, the salad went a picky eater who was unhappy they were even on there, and we still never got the appetizer we paid for. All I was looking for was an apology and him to say, sorry about our mix up on your order, come have a meal on us. You think that would be simple. Obviously not very Christian people at all.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
