I used to work here, so it holds a special place in my heart. The peanut butter topping is the best one to go with if you're going to get a sundae. You won't need anything bigger than a medium cone. Trust me.

Our Wisconsin family detoured the caravan of cars for custard while on the way to the cottage on the lake. I am so glad we stopped. The custard was rich and creamy and fabulous. I had the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor special (did they know I was coming?) and loved it. Big chunks of cookie dough and chocolate in the cold custard goodness. It was pretty awesome. I think we worried the staff there when all 30 of us showed up at once but they were great. All had custardy fabulousness within minutes.

Descriptive phrase: small-town custard stand. We stopped by Kewaunee Custard on our way up to Door County. It's staffed by all high school kids, who made the dishes quick once we finally got their attention. $7 for a large(r than I could eat) chocolate shake and a small sundae. It's solid custard for a decent price.

If you like a cold milk drink with a few vanilla-flavored ice crystals, order a milkshake. Very disappointed. On seeing some positive reviews on Yelp, I wonder if it was a staff training issue. Milkshake and malt quality got better in Bailey's Harbor, our destination.

We came here for an ice cream treat after dinner out. They have a large variety of treats to choose from, such as: Sundaes, shakes, blizzards, and regular, sugar or waffle cones. They always have a flavor of the day, but feature many different flavors to suit your taste. They also offer hot food, fries, and snacks. The business has a drive-thru, ample parking(as it can be busy during tourist season), and ample seating inside. The restaurant itself is clean, and the service is fast and friendly. This will be my local go-to place for a yummy frozen treat!

We came here for a frozen treat after dinner out. The place is has a drive through ,but we decided to dine in. They are typical of a Dairy Queen as they have soft serve custard and the usual types of sundaes. They offer hot sandwiches and fries. I ordered their version of a blizzard. It was good. They are doing "Christmas in July". The place is decorated for Christmas and some of their items have a Christmas theme. They feature a different flavor of custard every day. Today's happened to be maple nut.

Love the variety. Can check on the "Flavor Forecast" at their website, in the free Friday Kewaunee paper or pick one up inside. Quiet a selection of size options from Kids to Large in both a cone and a dish or even Waffle Cones. Includes a variety of things from the grill that are good, so even the non dessert lovers can find something to enjoy while you savor your custard. Not to mention other custard goodies like shakes, sundaes, blasts and sugar free option too. I enjoy the consistency of the custard, I find it much more enjoyable than other local custard and ice cream options. Something about the heaviness or thickness of it paired with the rich flavor of custard just makes it excellent. Still not sure if you want to give the flavor of the day a shot? You can always ask for a spoonful of the flavor to try. DEALS: At the beginning of the school year you can find a local football player selling a "Kewaunee Storm" fundraiser card to get 10% off for the next 12 months. Also you can go to WBDK Shopping show website or stop in at their office for a deal on a $10 gift certificate, they've had them last year and this year. And check the Hardpack (deep freeze) board, sometimes they are half off of the frozen pints and quarts. They are previous flavors of the day and great to take home. Daily specials for items from the grill are also available.

Love your food. Your staff needs retraining. Ordered food to take out. Waited 20minutes. Asked. Food had been ready for some time. Staff just ignored it. Fries were mush. Gave food back and no apology was even offered. Again, love your food. Been going out of our way to stop at your restaurant for years. Think you need better training.

If your lookin for a great burger and some custard this is the place to come. Great custard Chocolate, vanilla everyday and then there is the flavor of the day - always something yummy. They have burgers, sandwiches, chilli and a variety of sides. If you are not on a diet this is the place!!!! Yum Yum Yum!!!!

If you want to catch diabetes with a swiftness order the turtle sundae with chocolate frozen custard and then eat it all by yourself. It is delicious, rich, sticky caramel, hot fudge, and salted pecans. Way too big for one person to eat after gorging themselves on a cheese burger and cheese curds. Burgers are cooked to order so they come out hot, juicy, and covered in oozing, melted cheese. Cheese curds were pure perfection. Reminded me of the first time I had a curd at the tender age of 5 resulting in a life long lover of cheese curds. Crispy on the outside and hot and melty on the inside. My friend ordered the chili which also reminded me of my mom's chili. Ground beef, beans, big chunks of tomato, onion, and peppers and no spaghetti. Great spot at the top of the hill over looking the harbor and Lake Michigan. Just writing this review makes me long for a basket of cheese curds and perhaps a caramel cashew sundae.

I really enjoy kewaunee custard! Great stuff and not too expensive. I always go for plain vanilla and I also love the cheese fries.

They have a variety of ways to enjoy their custard. I will have to go many times to try them all so that I can give a longer review. So far I will give them 5 stars.
