We went to Uncle Mike's after my half marathon. The service was Awesome! Pam took care of everything! The food was excellent, hot and served up perfectly. Make sure you take the time to stop at Uncle Mike's! And if Pam is your server, it just doesn't get any better! Colleen W () () * * o \___/

I stopped in one evening last week with a buddy. It was a beautiful evening so we sat outside. The beer garden was smallish but nice. We ordered a couple of appetizers: artichoke dip and chicken quesadillas. Both were good. Most of the food here is solid. The draft beer list is the reason to come. There is no place within 45 minutes of here that has a better draft beer menu. Service is always friendly.

This place has great atmosphere and there are 86 beers on tap! However, the lack of service is enough to make me go elsewhere. After 15 minutes of waiting to order guac and chips, and another 10 minutes waiting for the food, we were informed that they didn't have guacamole. We ordered deep fried green beans instead. They were extremely salty (in my opinion). Then, we waited 15 minutes after asking to close our tab to go inside to ask another bartender to close out tab. I'm disappointed, because it looks like it would've been a fun place.

Typically always good stopped Labor Day for lunch service was bad sat a bar and could not get attention of staff. Not sure price of beer on tap and food worth bad service.

Came for breakfast and stayed for lunch......well not really but the service was very, very slow. Breakfast was good overall which surprised me a bit but man it took a while. The waitstaff seemed to be working hard- busy getting drinks etc so it may be the kitchen that has everything so jacked up. With the quantity of beers and other beverages available it's a good place to get hydrated. Lots of products for all types. I'm the end, I might come back but I will plan a longer amount of time. If your in a hurry this might not be the place

Will do again! Awesome selection of beers on tap! Very big bar seating area and great food! Check it out alongside the freeway!

It is not large, but the beer menu is. Great beers on tap, from NG to Founders there's something for everyone. The food menu is also large and great. Wings are super good and cheap, curds to die for, burgers, chicken, steak sandwiches all are great. Service was slow, but I give them the benefit of the doubt because they were packed so I order more beer! My only beef with it is they were blasting shit hip hop and rap. It's mostly white boys and bikers inside. Don't mind if its kept low but it was real loud. Kasie was our sever and she is great.

This place has a neat road house atmosphere with a vast bar selection of whiskey and beers on tap! I don't think I've ever seen as many beers on tap in my life? It's not big but it is inviting! The food was ok. I had a wrap and I'd probably not go there for the food, but the bar service was pleasantly delightful! Would definitely return when we are in the area! PS the ladies restroom has an incredibly large picture of a sexy Jason Alexander! Hilarious :)

Nice little gem. Huge beer list!!! Great decor. Bloody Marys were mediocre and breakfast was decent. Their selling point is the variety in beer. Over 100 on tap, I believe. Heard they had great sandwiches for lunch.

Beer. Whiskey. Flat Screen TVs. What else could you possibly need? Many a times I have driven along the 94, passing Uncle Mike's and that big sign kept catching my eye. Interests piqued. Taunting. Being someone who loves to find random gems, this needed to be checked out. Uncle Mike's has won me over for multiple reasons. The beer list is extensive and several pages long. Pages. There are over 150 whiskeys available Come Football Sundays, the house fills up but people filter in/out for games Since the first visit, I have stumbled into Uncle Mike's many times. It may be slow or busy, but it's always welcoming and a breath of fresh air for a bar. Living in Chicago and being a Packers fan gives very little access to actually enjoy a game out and about, so I've been catching games there on Sundays. Seats are easy to come by and service is always on point. Food is typical pub-fare, wings always seem to be a huge hit. I've had the buffalo chicken wrap and enjoyed it. All in all, follow you gut if you see the sign and curiosity nips you. It's a fun joint to stop in for a drink, lunch or even brunch on the weekend. Either way, they cater to everyone and for that it makes Uncle Mike's a pretty great establishment.

My food was pretty bad but maybe people come because this is local place where you can have fun. They do have a huge assortment of beer (I got a Lakefront Fixed Gear Ale and a Hacker Pschorr) & it looks like a lot of people come to play volleyball out back; they have several courts and tournaments, I think. I ordered "Almost world famous" Wings in Mike's Secret Sauce & deep fried cheese curds. The wings were pretty dried up and low on meat. In my mind, wing meat should basically fall off the bone. I felt like they were using the sauce to hide the fact that these were tough & dry. The cheese curds were interesting; I'd never tried them before. My issue with them was that the batter didn't seem to really hold in the curds so it was as if they melted and leaked out, leaving an empty fried somewhat cheese flavored bread-casing. Is this normally how they are or should I be able to bite into the curd inside? Service was a little dicey, the girl tried but was spacey.

Love this place mainly for the atmosphere. My hubby and I have gotten to know all of the bartenders and servers and they know us by name. We love the beer of the day club where you can earn a burger and fries by drinking 10-beers of the day! The food takes a little bit of time, which seems to be the case with a lot of our favorite places (lol). But you don't notice because you're busy watching one of the 30+ TV's or talking with the super friendly bartenders and servers (or of course your dining buddy). I wouldn't suggest going here if you're super-gonna-die-hungry, but definitely give it a try. Especially the wings (which are super cheap on Sundays and Mondays... and boneless on Tuesdays). Monday night bingo is fun, too with pretty cool prizes of a six-pack of beer per round!

Been shopping at Woodman's for years and most of time eat somewhere around there. Discovered Uncle Mike's tonight and could not be happier. NCAA tourney on TV's and place is pretty packed. Had the Kobe burger and side salad and my wife had the Patty Melt with fries. The burger was delicious and my wife loves the melt. $35 with no drinks for a couple burgers was expensive but they were huge sandwiches and high quality beef so ok with paying the premium. Beer menu was vast. Maybe next time.

Fun atmosphere. I saw someone attempt the Gauntlet today and succeed! Wings are the best. Mango Habanero are delicious but spicy!

Okay, so we went here as a back up because BW3's had a long line. So, the thing that really killed the experience was the waitress.... and I don't normally yelp about service, but this chick was pretty bad. Luckily we were there in no hurry at all with limited expectations. So, some of the highlights, in a bad way I suppose: *Waitress approaches table, we ask if wings are breaded (gluten allergy) and order a few drinks. She comes back about 10 minutes later, no drinks, asks if we are ready to order? I ask about the wings, she says, "Oh, I didn't ask but I think they are fine" HUH? I tell her to go ask...and bring my wine! *Waitress brings wrong beer *Waitress forgets blue cheese *When asked if I could have my 10 wings (10.95) with 2 sauces she says no...proceeds to tell me I should order 2 sets of the 6 wings (6.95) each if I want different sauces...I say, duh, no.....me thinks not, thats and extra 3 bucks...sheesh...principal at this point.... *waitress goes on a rant about "how dare some white guy call her whoopie goldb." Okay, not appropriate. Food, meh. Def wouldn't go back....

I went there with my wife and her friends for dinner there was four of us the waitress brings us only 3 menus. She Never brings us another one. It took a hour to get our food and when we get it the food was cold.

  • Shawn L.

80+ beers on tap with the majority of them served in 16 ounce glasses. The chicken wings I had were very good as was the service.

  • Brittany J.

We waited an hour for our food and waited another 15 minutes just to get our check in which our server didn't even bring either. Some one from the kitchen did. They have good food and a great beer selection but I don't think we'll be eating there again unless we have a lot of time to kill.

    (3)
  • Gregory R.

The food is good, the beer selection is great, and the biggest whiskey selection I have ever seen. This place would get 5 stars if the service matched up. Regardless, mediocre service is very tolerable with such a big selection. Sometimes, the service is pretty good but that is a surprise. I am guessing the management is about nonexistent.

My go to bar. Fun and friendly bar tenders, servers and Friday and Saturday night security. Many microbrewery beers on tap. Great food. Especially my favorite black bean burger!! Free Beer bingo Monday nights. Great service. No pool or darts though! :/

Uncle Mike's looks like another seedy bar off the highway. But don't let appearances fool you. It is actually a very "marketed" establishment. What I mean by this is that it has a chain / corporate feel to it. The selection of beers is impressive. Flat screen tvs can be found all over, for your viewing enjoyment. As far as food goes, the wings are probably their strongest suit. With 11 different sauces and 59 cent wing specials on Sun and Mon, it makes for the quintessential beer drinking experience. They come in a myriad of spiciness, and the top two hottest are made with Trinidad Butch Scorpion pepper (world's hottest) and Jolokia - you have to sign a waiver to eat these as well as pay per wing. I opted for the mango habanero version which is #3. My mouth felt like I kissed a volcano where the lava spews out. It was that damn hot. For 15 min, I felt a throbbing, pulsating sensation in my lips like I just had 5 cc of silicone injected into them. Something is very wrong when I use adjectives like throbbing and pulsating to describe my dining experience. The up side is that beer never tasted so good. They also have a gimmicky menu that is titled "Say Uncle" where you get gigantic portions. I had the BLT version which comes with a half pound of bacon. Unfortunately, this was pre-cooked weight and I still felt hungry afterwards...I think that I was more disappointed in the fact that a half pound of bacon couldn't satisfy me...don't wanna know what my cholesterol levels are. Other menu items show a more "progressive" cuisine level that you would not expect from a dive bar. I definitely did not expect to see an organic black bean veggie burger. This goes to show that they have put a lot of thought into composing a menu that caters to a wide audience. But that may also be part of their undoing, in that most of the food is just decent. I think the food was meant more to complement the beer than anything else, but also be a fresher take on your traditional bar menu.

Always enjoy the food. I've had burgers, cheese curds, buffalo chicken salad, wings and beer. The beer menu is great!

We made the trip to Wisconsin so we could get some New Glarus beer at Woodmans. Since it was around lunch we thought we'd try a local place. Uncle Mikes is just around the corner from Woodmans and was just what we were looking for! It was really crowded but they quickly cleaned off a table and seated us. Our server was super friendly and attentive. It is a bar that serves decent food. They have a lot of beers on tap and quite a number of Wisconsin only beers. But, we brought our 9 year old and felt completely comfortable with him there. However, they dont have a kids menu so it was pretty pricey. We ordered the cheese curds to start (of course) which came out quickly and were nice and hot. They brought them out with their homemade ranch dressing that was excellent!! We shared 6 parmesan herb wings and 6 buffalo wings. Both were really meaty and had lots of flavor. We preferred the parmesan but there was nothing wrong with the buffalo. Next time we're in Kenosha we will definitely stop here. Hopefully its a day where we can sit outside! Their outside area looked really cool.

You have to be a real dick not to like Uncle Mike's, and write a 1-star review. Want better service? Sit at the bar. Huge beer menu, great food. It's not a biker bar, but it's a biker bar. See, if I write "biker bar" in the review, and other bikers do a search for "biker bar" on their Yelp smartphone app, Uncle Mike's will show-up. :-)

We go here all the time. Food is always good, great beer selection. Can't beat it. Friendly staff, good service at the bar. Well runned bar. Got to be one of my favorite places.

Uncle Mike's is a nice gem in Kenosha! Location is a bit tricky to get to but once you find it you'll be glad that you did. They have about 500 beers on tap (a bit of an exaggeration) but you get the idea. Their bar food selection is good too and the kitchen stays open pretty pate. Stop on in & see for yourself!!

  • K S.

This place has a good beer list and a ton of stuff to fit your fancy! This was my second time coming here. Only reason we stopped by after a night of Summerfest music was they had my favorite CIder on Tap! YUMM Ciderboys peach! They dont serve food late which is a shame or we would have stayed longer!

The problem here is customer service. You wait forever for someone to wait on you. Sitting here 15 minutes and you r like a ghost.

FOOD POISONING! A friend and I had the breakfast burrito and both of us ended up with good poisoning. I was on the fence with this place already because the service is always terrible, but now I will absolutely never step foot in here again and will tell everyone I know to avoid it.

  • Dan H.

Outstanding! We have been there three times. Great beer, food, atmosphere and service! Friendly, knowledgeable staff always, no matter the day or time. Reubens were the best my wife and I have ever had. Beer choices are all quality and great, especially the IPAs and stouts. I don't get to the Kenosha area often, but this is always my first stop!

For a Friday night dinner on your way from Chicago to the great northwoods this place fits the bill. Now the bar itself was full so our family of four needed to sit outside which was nice enough under the pear tree. Beer to menu is impressive and at only $4.50, pretty reasonable. I especially liked the Rhinelander Chocolate Bunny stout which wad basically a smoother Guiness. The reuben, chicken wings, thin crust pizza and south of border burger were all very good. That and four specialty beers and a soda came to about $70. I may be skipping my regular Brat Stop visit for awhile. Food and service has been slacking there on recent visits but was excellent here. Same Kenosha exit or if you miss it, go to the next north of 50 and circle back. East side of 94.

Well it's got my name written all over it! Friday Fish Fry was very tasty and huge portions of Walleye (what i would recommend). great Beer options!

turkey sandwich is great, potato salad awesome, beer selection great. Service is always friendly, however, sometimes it has been very slow. Great place to catch hawks games. Ciderboys Peach cider on tap!

  • Beth G.

I don't drink much, so it's strange for me to be sitting at a pub in the first place. But to then rave about the food? Yep. Absolutely. Uncle Mike knows his stuff. I want to hug and kiss all over this man. The food was right on point. Wings were great. Chopped salad was huge, gorgeous, and of the caliber you'd find at much fussier places. Hennessy burger (mushroom, swiss, and onions) was one of the best that I've had in ages. Server was awesome, very friendly and helpful. My belly was full, and Beth was very happy.

    (4)
  • Steven K.

Been here a few times and service has been spotty. Food is ok if you can get your order in. The bar is way too big and takes up 75% of the interior leaving a pretty cramped area to socialize. Never bother try coming here for games or special events on tv cause its way too crouded.

So my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a chance. My stomach was making noises like Ving Rhames fighting a hoard of hungry zombies so we stopped in to grab some grub. Things seemed alright at first, I went to go sit at the bar and the chair had a large chunk missing off the corner. So I sat on the one next to it so I did not snag my skirt. I wish I would have taken this as an omen not to eat here and turn around and leave! We sit and a while later the girl behind the bar gives us menus and asks what we want to drink. I just got water and my BF got a mixed drink. The girl was rather clueless in what they had and did not have. I ended up ordering the patty melt and told her I wanted a salad instead of fries. My BF just got chicken strips as he was not super hungry like I was. So this is where the whole experience really goes down hill. The service was super slow and a while later we got our food. My patty melt had fries, I told her I wanted the salad. She said oh sorry that was my fault and obviously did not put that on the ticket. So they give me a salad which looked great, I got the balsamic dressing which was the worst tasting balsamic I have ever tasted!! It was highly acidic and made my stomach a little sour. I could not eat the salad so I ate a few fries and my patty melt. The patty melt was the best part of the whole experience. Jucy and tasty burger :) Also $8 for 4 chicken strips????? Wow should rename this place to uncle mikes highway robbery pub! So after we are done the girl behind the bar hardly pays attention to us. We just wanted to get our check and a small box. It took so long my BF actually suggested a dine and dash. I'm honest so I said I would not do that. Finally we get her attention and take care of our bill. I would not come back after an experience like this. Uncle mikes: please train your staff better!! I have worked service industry most of my life and this is not just a few little things and me being picky. This is the first negative review I have ever written! So anyone reading this review, don't waste your time (lots of it) by eating here.

Waitress was very rude when asked to wipe down our dirty table. Other than that the pizza was delicious and they have numerous beers on tap. I'd suggest the New Glarus Moon Man!

    (2)
  • Bee T.

Burger and chicken sandwich were standard fare at premium tourist prices. The service plain sucked. Getting a drink was damn near impossible and just decent service was non-existant. I do not recommend this place to anyone, even my exes mother in law. Place plain sucks. Go to Rivals.

  • DeWitt K.

First and foremost... The beer selection is great fantastic plain and simple. They have Dog Fish Head 120 Minute IPA which says alot. However... I am 42 and at this age the food becomes very important. So.. 5 stars on the beer selection (and price) and the food is 1 star. That makes 2.5 but I will round down because the the "Homemade Guacamole" was as as brown as my hair used to be. We tried... Chicken Chili, yuck. Chips and Guac, yuck and the pizza, fairly yuck. Note: We went to Uncle Mikes for lunch on a Saturday. They were short staffed but still good. I am just wondering if it were night and we were drinking a lot more... Would the food become magically better?? Not going to go back to figure that one out. Dos Stars!

Visited Uncle MIke's at noon on cold wintery Saturday. The bar was full and we grabbed one of the only open tables. The atmosphere was very friendly and the waitstaff were extremely friendly (had multiple chats with our 4 year old daughter) and helpful. Gigantic 6 page beer menu was impressive. I was between two choices and asked the waitress for help... she brought me a sample of both plus one more she thought I'd like (I picked her choice). Food was above average-- I had white bean chicken chili and fried green beans. Husband had wings and the kiddo had chicken strips and fries. All were hot and cooked well. They have some different items on the menu that I'd like to try next time. The best part though was the giant, full wall floor to ceiling poser of George Costanza in his boxers in the ladies room. LOL. Overall, the place had a great vibe, food was good, staff was quick and friendly, and we will be going back!

  • Brian S.

When Uncle Mike's first opened, this would have been closer to a 4 star review, however it seems that service has really slipped and prices have gone up. My experience has only been with ordering wings, pizza and burgers and it has been a few months since my last visit. The wings have always been great, maybe a little dry sometimes. The pizza and burgers are both quite bland, but not bad. Where things take a turn for the worse is service. Even when the place is only moderately busy, the food always takes about 40 minutes to receive after ordering. If you sit at a table, things tend to be worse and you will often be overlooked. In addition, prices have been raised, particularly the wings. If you do decide to eat here, don't bother with a table and sit at the bar.

So many beer choices, so hard to choose!! Great bar food!! Burgers are huge and moist! The fried cod batter awesome! Unlike other beer batter that is soggy and thick, this is crunchy, just enough batter and flavorful!!

  • Blake M.

Uncle Mike's is a great find along the highway when I want to stop at Woodman's or head up to Milwaukee. Don't be thrown off by the large goofy sign out front, this is a quality establishment with good food and a huge beer list. Their craft and import beer selection is impressive and very reasonably priced. They always have some newly released local-to-Wisconsin seasonal brew I cannot get in Chicago, so I usually go for that. The few times I have been there I have just wanted a drink or gotten their wings, which are pretty darn good. I look forward to going back next time I am in the area for a brew and maybe I will try their pizza next time.

So far everything we ordered was great! I loved the chips and guacamole it was fresh and perfect. I will also recommend you stop by on the bingo night, it was a great way to unwind after a long day. We also ordered the BLT, it was so large we ate it the next day as well. A fun bar and to our surprise great food!

The food looked good but I could not tell you how it tastes because I am STILL waiting for in to arrive ( 40 min later). I will update this review tomorrow if I have received my food by then.

  • Teri U.

Service is total crap! O excuse me what service?? Everytime we go to the soft Dallas meant we stand there with their hands in their pockets for 15 minutes for people to even acknowledge that we are even there. This time we did not wait and walked out never again will we frequent this establishment!!! If you're not regular I would suggest you here go unless you don't mind waiting for someone to acknowledge that you even exist! Sad thing is, there food if you ever get waited on, is actually pretty good. But the service totally sucks!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jan G.

Took OVER an hour to finally get our food (12 people) and server forgot to put husbands food in. Luckily he got wings too, she remembered those but they were cold. Newserver was slow and clueless. Then they lose the credit card that was used to pay bill with. Will never set foot into this place again!!!

    (1)
  • Sharon T.

I will never give this place another dollar. Our party waited over a half an hour for their first drink so some of us went to the bar to get drinks. The bartender ended up losing our tab and our credit card. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and most of it was cold when it came out and they completely forgot one entree. The service was horrible, the food was mediocre and the tables were dirty. The waitress sure couldn't remember the napkins, plates, your order or to bring the bill, but it took her less than a minute to take the credit card that they didn't lose and get her money since they added over $30 for tip. This place is an over priced joke. I think they are hoping you will be so drunk from their enormous beer selection that you won't notice how horrible everything else is. I would've gave them 0 stars but Yelp wouldn't let me.

  • Pamela K.

Yes, do this place if you LOVE beer like me. Your taste bud's salivate when you see the WALL of beer from all over the country AND world. It's not all just bottled. They have a million varieties (ok, not a million, but a lot) on tap. Yum. Food's not bad if you ARE in need of grub. Fight night's popular here. But, if you do decide to go then, get their EARLY. It's a bar... so don't expect loungy atmosphere. If you're a beer lover like me, who cares. Just pull up to the bar and drink the night away.

  • Kyle K.

Let me toot my horn for a minute. I know beer. My love of beer has led me to moonlight at a beer bar that has the largest beer list I've ever seen, and with that said I'm very impressed with Uncle Mike's offerings. They have one of the most well rounded beer lists I've ever seen, tapping some nicely selected beers from all over the world. I had tried their sister pub this past summer and liked what they were doing near the lake in Kenosha, but the list is a notch above Capt. Mikes. I had a Reuben, and to be honest it was just ok but I wasn't really there to eat so I ain't mad. My friend had the South of the Border Burger and he loved it. The service was friendly and the bar maiden was quick to offer samples of the beers I had questions about. All in all it's a pretty cool place right off of I-94 and it looked like the had a nice patio for summertime imbiberation.

    (4)
  • Don Z.

Uncle Mike's has a huge selection of bottled beer from all over the country and the world. There is also a very respectable selection of beers on tap. Yes, they do have Miller Lite, but I think that is the law in Wisconsin. This is a welcome oasis that sits right next to 94, so it is convenient to stop when I am traveling through the area. The atmosphere is not so good. It is setup like a sports bar with a million TVs. The good thing is that as long as the Packers are not playing they actually have a wide selection of shows playing on the different screens. It is not all sports. This place is really loud, even when it isn't packed. The acoustics make it impossible for someone like my wife to talk to the bartender. Her voice just cannot overpower the noise. They serve food too. The sandwiches that we tried were good, but the beer is the real reason to come to Uncle Mikes. So I have some gripes with the atmosphere, but the beer selection and the location ensures that I will be back.

I was excited to see a packers bar so close to our hotel. When me and my guy went there we were disappointed. The bar is shaped weird. Boat load of tvs. Offer 50 kinds of whiskey but miraculously didn't have the one whiskey I was looking for. Getting a bartender to serve you can be more of a chore then trying to get a taxi in a suburb. It was noisy to no end and gave me a headache we ended up leaving and opting for the bar in the hotel

  • Mike L.

Lots of beer selections. The wait staff was okay. Very loud inside. Wings were watery and the cook must have accidently dropped the hottest sauce or peppers they have on my medium wings. I ate the tainted wing and my mouth was seriously on fire for 15 minutes. I told the wait staff and they offered me some tortilla chips. Ugh that didnt' help at all. I wasn't impressed at all and I'd only consider going back because my friends would want to go there.

Great revolving beer selection, food is better than most bar food. The bar is oddly shaped but very cool at the same time. If you like beer you HAVE to give it a try.

I come to Wisconsin to go to Woodman's for New Glarus and others and often stop for a cold one when I am nearby, and they have a nice New Glarus selection. The other tap offerings are impressive and nice printed menu with the ABVs and serving size and prices. As a beer bar it is pretty good. For the food, I was not too impressed. My barbecue bacon cheddar burger was OK, but not too flavorful and the bacon was not fully cooked, while my wife's Kobe burger was also nothing to write home about (and should have been for 14.95). And I would also not recommend sitting at a table-the waitress came by as we were taking off our coats and did not return for 15 minutes to take our drink orders-we switched to the bar when seats opened up where we had improved service (which is usually the opposite of what you normally do!). I give it this rating as a beer bar with the selections and quantity of taps and prices. I would say skip it as a restaurant.

Good beer selection good wings a little slow and hard to find a seat.

  • Michael D.

Not my 1st ttime here but it was my 1st time trying the wings. I am a very picky when it comes to wings. They need to be cooked well done with no globs of fat remaining....and the sauce needs to be up to par. They offer a very nice selection of different sauces and I chose the classic bbq as well as the secret uncle mikes sauce. These wings were simply put some of the very best wings I''ve ever had. I was quite surprised to be honest. I typically come here for the variety of beer and sausage pizza, but I''ve just discovered my favorite place for wings! Yum!

Great beer selection. Funkiest bar setup you'll see. They have a fat man menu that's outstanding. I hit the place up all the time on my way back from Milwaukee. Three words: chocolate covered bacon

They've got like 84 beers on tap and 240 or something to choose from and the buffalo wings are out of this world. Go on a weeknight if you don't like getting cosy with hundreds of people fighting over micro brews..........

I reserve a 5-Star rating for places that I would go out of my way for. Well, I regularly drive 20 minutes, past a lot of northern Lake County bars, to have their burgers (which are the best!) and endulge in a different beer(s). It can definately get busy and loud on weekends and during football season which causes parking issues, but I still go. The beer selection is simply incredible; 250+ beers they told me which includes every Bell's on tap plus another 50+ on tap. If your going for the first time, try to go a little off-peak so you can sit down and enjoy awesome food and beer without the craziness. Keep up the good work!!!

Beer selection is incredible - 86 on tap - several more in bottles - 250 overall. Pub food. 1/2lb burger was truly 1/2lb. I'll make the drive down to this place anytime someone wants to meet for a beer or for lunch.

Although they have a fantastic beer selection the service is something that needs a serious improvement. I have been there five times now and everytime the "talent" has little to no personality and sees their guests as an annoying interuption to thier day. If I ever decide to go back here it will be for a hard to find beer and not because the "people standing behind the counter" who call themselves bartenders made me feel welcome.

Been here several times. Great beer selection, great atmosphere. Excellent food. Bathrooms are a joke for a place that size and amount of people. Guys are urinating in the sink due to only one toilet. Table service is SLLLOWW. The reason I came back is for the food. I am hoping the owners will improve on the EASY stuff and make it 5 stars across.

The beer list is awesome, food is above average, and the prices are good, but on this occasion our service was a bit lacking. Maybe she had a few too many tables going at once. She wasn't the most knowledgeable about the beers, but I guess with that many on tap and in bottles, who could be. She did however charge us for wings we never ordered, and a beer that was brought out wrong and sent back. She took those off the bill and corrected the problem so it wasn't that big of a deal. The food at our table all looked good. I had Uncle Mikes Major BLT and I have to say it was awesome. Waffle fries are a great vehicle for ketchup and I always enjoy them, and these were cooked perfectly. Seems to be a good place to ride to because there were a bunch of bikes parked outside. Made me jealous I didn't have mine. There were also some people playing volleyball outside when we left. Not sure if that's connected to the bar, but I would have to assume it is. I'll be making another trip here to eat and have a few cold ones again that's for sure.

Husband and I wandered in here after hitting up Woodman's and doing chores at his folks all afternoon. Place has a great beer selection - over 250 I believe. An impressive amount of smaller Midwest brews were featured, several of them on tap. There's also a list of 22 beers that are only $2.50 a bottle and includes Lagunita's Censored and Bell's Amber. Our server was great, knowledgeable about the beers, (a home brewer, to boot!) and quite determined to help me find something vegetarian on the menu, which wasn't really happening. Standard bar fare, and apparently offered in behemoth portions. We ended up happily enjoying the pizza pretzel with marinara though. I hasn't expecting much, but have to say the marina was fresh with real herbs and the pretzel was perfectly cooked and had the added surprise of being stuffed with garlic and parmesan. yummy... Decor was lacking, place was half full of gambling games, and maybe this is just my being a city person, but I can't help but feel a bit uncomfortable about a 'highway' pub (as in off 94) pushing cheap drinks with no public trans or taxis anywhere in sight. But all in all, its a great stop if you're in the Kenosha area. I'm sure I'll be back.

Really upset by the service and food today.. first off no side salad? Seems odd even though you are able to do one as a side dish??? Secondly 6.95 for a kids.meal?? And then an additional $2.50 for a drink? A little upset considering you only had 3 options..... Service was ok.... Could have been better..... Only saw her once when food came out and then the bartender gave us our check..... Usually everything is great....

I've heard so many great things about this place, but besides the beer selection none of it was true. Our waitress was very unattentive, our burgers were undercooked, and the pricing was fairly high. needless to say we won't be going back.

Beer selection is amazing, as is the number of beers available on tap. Food was very good. I had the turkey sandwich (better warmed up than cold) and my husband had the Reuben which he said was one of the best he's ever had. We sat at the bar so the service was tag-team, but our only complaint is with the prices not being listed for all their beers. The tap beers had their price posted, but the bottle beers did not. We were quite shocked to get the bill and see a $9.50 bottle of beer. The beers are listed on the wall, but it would be nice to see prices, or a star system with price ranges. We will definitely be back, but we will be sure to ask about beer prices BEFORE we order.

OMG, I was referred to this place by someone at the Harley dealership close by......this place claims to have a breakfast skillet worth waiting an hour for. I've been to Frank's a few times and loved it, so I thought I'd compare. What a waste of time and calories....it was a disgusting, greasy mess that I do believe was "microwaved"! To top it off, the sausage they used was "pizza" sausage and not even breakfast sausage! It was so bad that I had to send it back! Very disappointing also was how many beers they had to chose from, but ever one that we had was WARM! YUK! Don't waste your time....I'd have rather have eaten a happy meal at McDonald's!

Went last Sunday at 3:30 for lunch and a beer with my wife. We sat down and waited to be served. After 2 servers walked by and not acknowledging us, we went and sat at the bar. no worries, we like to belly up. We wanted menus to order food, but getting a bartenders attention was difficult. It wasn't like they were busy, there were three servers standing and talking at the end of the bar with a friend. After asking for a menu from the gentleman bartender we had good service and the food was actually good.

Always wondered why there were so many cars parked at this place visible from I94. Now we know. Great pub grub with big portions and 86 craft beers on tap. We would definitely go back.

Only a patron a few times, but a nice place to grab a few beers and food. Mike's has snowmobile parking during the winter too! Looking forward to football season, college or pro--if they play this year.

Uncle Mike's has a great selection of beer, at a decent price. We didn't try the food, so I can't give a complete review, but for now, it's A-OK with this guy. I don't want to recommend drinking and driving, but if you happen to be on the highway and in need of something to quench your thirst, make a detour...

Uncle Mike's has a great beer selection, which is what drew us there in the first place. However, they do not tap a new cask conditioned beer Friday as advertised, which was a bit disappointing. The food is decent, but it often takes a while to arrive. As for the service, it can be hit or miss. We've had some great bartenders and waitresses, but also a couple very bad ones. Overall, a good place to have a few beers and relax.

another location added to our lunch adventures. we started with the deep fried green beans. were really fresh and lightly breaded. were served with marinara (would do it again with the ranch instead.) my friend and i both did the dairyland cheeseburger with cheddar and the waffle fries. we'll be back. there were so many menu options, it was difficult to make a decision. nice staff. the higher ceilings make the smoking a little more tolerable. would be even better smoke-free.

Excellent Beer list, Friendly bartenders, delicious chopped buffalo chicken salad, highway pizza is ok, kobe burger super delcious, overall a great place to stop into near the highway with lots of beers to choose from, bottled and tap, and a decent selection of food to match. Late kitchen open to 12am on the Wednesday night I went.

It has an awesome beer selection, but I was more impressed by their prices. Even the better beers were really fair priced (La Fin Du Monde was like $4.00 I think) and they have regular, major label beers that are $3 or less if you aren't a beer snob. On the weekends it seemed to get a fair collection of bros, and the normally beer-savvy staff gets replaced with a less knowledgeable breed. Basically a really fun place to go for lunch after shopping at the local mall, or a fun place to go out to on a Friday night.

Delicious burgers, great atmosphere and location! Servers are ok, but not great and breakfast on weekends is mediocre at best. Definately get a burger!!

Well first of all it has about 50 beers on tap, nice. Inside full of TV's and video games. Bar is located in center of room with tables scattered throughout. They do have outside seating also for the summer months. This is a very good place to hang out with some friends and try a few different beers.

Probably the best beer selection in the area (unless there is some other place I don't know about). They have about a 50/50 split of Wisconsin and other craft brews on tap, and a very diverse selection of stuff in bottles. My only gripe about their current selection is that they don't rotate different beers as much as they used to, but that only matters if you go there enough to want more variety. I also play Buzztime trivia and they have a great setup for it here. They have a ton of TVs on and usually have a decent number of them tuned to trivia all the time. Other than that it's a pretty average sports bar. The food is not that great.

This was the first Bar my husband and I started frequenting when we moved here from Chicago. We LOVE it. The only complaint is that it gets very loud during games, and at night. But thats the point of a bar like this right?!? Watching games, listening to music and hanging out and drinking beer! * Not really the place for intimate conversation.* We love the food and beer selection. My favorite is the "Irish nachos" its basically nachos on top of waffle fries- amazing and wonderful idea! The taco salad, and My beer is the Wheat Monkey! YUMMMY. The staff is always nice, doesn't horde over you so you don't feel like they are watching your every move- but you also don't wait long for a beer either, and the windows are nice on weekend mornings (during food ball season to be exact) how they managed to place the tv's so they don't get a glair with all the windows is beyond me- but GOOD JOB Uncle mikes! I cant wait for soft ball season!

My husband and I stop at Uncle Mike's at least twice a month..he sometimes more during Hockey season. Great place to watch a game, but get there early if you want a table! Beer menu is outstanding. We took my "Beer snob" brother there and he loved the selection and (being from Chicago) the prices as well. The waitresses will give you a sample, before you commit to a full glass of a brew you are unsure of...and they even have "beer flights". Food is REALLY good for "bar fare". If you are in the "over 50" crowd, if you get there too late in the evening, you'll feel very out of place!
