The best pie in k town, that I have had, Fresh ingredients, crispy and tasty crust. Piping hot. Sausage is well spiced. Good mozza. I believe this is carry out only. I have only had their pizza.

We were greeted rather matter of factly by the hostess and shown to a table. She was unenthusiastic and not really friendly. However the waitress was friendly and appeared eager to serve, if only she got the chance. She took our order, brought our food and from then on we never saw her again except to flag her down on the floor for drink refills. Management had her working a private party in the back room as well as tables in the dining room, which minimized her effectiveness. My grandson had to walk up to a busboy to get boxes for us to take home the leftovers. The pizza is very good; their "Henny Penny" chicken was nothing special. It came with salad, soup and broasted potato. The huge potato wedges covered most of the plate with small sized pieces of chicken hiding underneath. Be forewarned; they don't take credit cards, but they do have an ATM on the premises. I'm not sure I would go to this restaurant again. I would give this place an 8 for food and a 3 for service, although it wasn't completely the waitresses fault. Let's just say I wouldn't go out of my way to patronize Luigi's.

My moms stuffed shells were dry and the meat didn't look appetizing whatsoever. It was very greasy with little spice. I'd stick to the cheese shells. My buffalo chicken pizza was really tasty! If you stop by id probably stick to the pizza. Also, the waitress forgot 2 Of our side salads and their soda machine was broken so there really weren't many options for beverages

Maybe I'm spoiled but when I order Spaghetti, I expect it to be stirred while cooking and not have huge clumps of Spaghetti in the container. Marinara Sauce is pretty bland , but the homemade noodles and meatballs are really good when said noodles are not in a huge clump. Pizza is alright, a little too cheesy and not crisp enough when it first comes but really good when you reheat it in your own oven the next day. Delivery was fast and friendly and food arrived piping hot. All in all, just ok don't think I would order from them again though.

Great food. Love the pizza. Low cost. Been eating there for years. Small family owned restaurant. Nothing fancy. Good service.

I'm originally from Kenosha and am now in Oak Creek. Good luck finding a decent pie in Milwaukee County that even comes close to Luigi's, nothing I've tried compares. I miss going there for dinner. We were there back in the day when Luigi and his wife would sit and drink coffee together at one of the tables. May they rest in peace and kudo's for keeping the business going in this economy! The best pizza, chicken and pasta around!

Worst pizza ever. Ordered the Buffalo chicken and it tasted horrible. I questioned the waitress about how the order must of gotten mixed up, but she was addiment that it was a buffalo chicken. Inspected later at home and it had roast beef, cheese, and chicken with minimal sauce. Not a good combo for someone wanting a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Silly me, I have eaten there three times the past several years and it is HORRIBLE. My children refused to eat the spaghetti. Jar sauce is better than this place. The last time we were their the service was slow and rude wait staff.

Pizza was not so good. Crust was like packaged premade almost like cardboard. Sauce was not so good either. Skimpy on cheese and pepperoni. I had my last pizza here about 5 years ago. It was good then terrible now. What happened? Would not recommend eating pizza here.

Carry out was hot and took only 35 minutes. I was disappointed that the mushrooms were canned and not fresh, and I couldn't taste the fresh garlic. I do have to say that the thin crust was very, very tasty. It's not as good as what I get in Illinois but now that I've moved to Wisconsin I guess ill have to get used to it. All in all it was good pizza.

Best thin crust pizza in kenosha... no, in the states! But I'm sticking to thin crust pizza carry out, with the occasional potato wedges. Oh, and it's cash only.

I think this place has the best pizza in Kenosha. This is our go to "let's order pizza" place. My husband and I get carry out and split a small, which is more than enough food. Their pizza is very filling, and very tasty! Cash only so come prepared.

Had probably the worst experience ever this evening. Wife and I went to Luigi's for dinner. Wait staff was completely inattentive, food took twice as long as told, and came out cold. The busboy (with his arms covered in tatoos) was more interested in playing on his Iphone than removing dirty dishes. Don't know why we bothered to come here. Would recommend Fazolli's over this place. Funny thing is we have been going here for over 30 years. seems like they went down the toilet. On a brighter note, had posted my review on their facebook page - that was deleted in ten minutes. Wish their service was that fast! NOTE - it lists them as having a full bar - there is no alcohol, as they do not have a liquor license!

Luigi's Pizza Kitchen has been described elsewhere as the best pizza in Kenosha. I don't agree. The pizza is okay, but not great. They use canned mushrooms on the pizza...yuck! Just that alone made the pizza somewhat un-appetizing to me, so I don't have much else to say about it.

Underwhelmed. They used frozen spinach on the pizza. The salad was warm. The room was very noisy and help was not very professional. Oh well, maybe we should have tried the carry out.

Worst service ever. Busy phones and 1 1/2 hours for a delivery 3 miles away.

Wow you dont get any better than this!! The pizza here is great. Home made pasta is the best in kenosha no question! I could rattle of more cause everything here is good. If you love Italian food to have to try Luigi's.

Luigi's in one of the best places I have eaten in Kenosha. The food is fantastic - whether you are eating in the restaurant or eating the take-out pizza. The Italian food is home-made style and the servings are HUGE (I recommend the half serving unless you're taking some home for later). You won't believe how cheap it is for these huge servings either. The pizza is awesome - the best I've ever eaten! The only caveat I have is that there are long wait times for the restaurant because they can probably seat only ~30-40 people at a time. The wait is worth it!

Luigis has been my fave since I was a little girl. There is nothing on the menu that isn't the best. And the prices are fantastic.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
