Dinner for 8. I have dined at Eddies/Dakota rose many times over the years and last evening's experience made me realize really how hit or miss it can be. The waitstaff is normally fairly incompetent and or moody, but last night was like pulling teeth to get anything accomplished. The bartender obviously has no training whatsoever as ordering anything besides wine or beer can turn into a disaster in a hurry. Normally I find the food to be fairly good. Last night was unfortunately not. Salads came and remarks were made about the size/quality. Mine showed up with possibly 3 pieces of lettuce and 2 slices of cucumber, very sad. I almost always order steak and seem to get great cuts of meat. This time around however, 30% of my steak was gristle and slightly overdone. A few others remarked theirs was the same way. Most of our party was very dissatisfied with their food. We received our bill and were preparing to pay it when the waitress ran up with the real kicker. She said she forgot to add a bottle of wine to the bill, tore the bill from my hand and ran back to the kitchen. To me, this is just unreal. If you are a waitress and you bring a $300 bill to someone with gratuity already included and then realize you forgot to add a $20 bottle of wine, I believe you should have the decency to realize that the $20 should just come out of your tip. Eddie's you let me down. On a night that really could have earned yourself some regular customers, you failed to deliver.

Short and sweet... Waited for a friend at the bar and had a couple drinks... [Wonderful local feel to it and didn't skimp on the sauce] Ordered the Rib Eye with green bean fries as a starter... [Both were amazing] Our server... [Sweet and professional and well put together!] I will be going back!

A quaint, nice Wisconsinish atmosphere with a long bar and 2 rooms with tablecloth covered tables. Quiet on a Saturday night. The waitress was okay, she didn't know anything about the wine selections. Salads, soups and dinners were good, but nothing to write home about.

I was hesitant at first to try Eddie's, but it surpassed my expectations! The decor isn't exceptionally trendy, but the delicious homemade bread made up for it. The chicken soup had just the right flavor too. The seared tilapia on risotto was exceptional and our server was attentive and friendly. I will be returning and highly recommend this restaurant for a laid-back atmosphere coupled with a truly tasty dining experience.

I have only been to Eddie's for breakfast so I can't speak to the lunch or dinner but I can assure you that there are 3 better breakfast spots that are in a mile of Eddie's. The inside of here is disgusting. I would not take a shower before going in there just because you feel dirty after every time you leave. I must say that the customer service is great though! That is the one plus all across this area!

I had previously been here as Dakota rose and was letdown however last week I stopped at eddies and had one of my best meals ever in kenosha. The food was fantastic and I'm actually meeting another friend there tomorrow.
