The service here was Excellant. I had 2 $5 bonus cards, and they split my bill so I could use both cards on the same visit. The food was fresh, the waitress was pleasant, and of course the pie was Delicious. Definitely recommend.

Bakers Square has, in my opinion, some of the best chain restaurant food for basic American food - but kicked up a notch with newer twists on old favorites. I absolutely love their tomato basil soup, grown-up grilled cheese and pot roast... and pies and salads. The restaurant staff are, for the most part, quite pleasant. Hosts/hostesses are quick to greet you. The manager routinely makes stops to see how things are going for patrons, which is appreciated. The servers tend to be very pleasant, but the only complaint I have is that they sometimes do not stop to see how things are after receiving the food. I do think that it's not a good sign when a patron has to flag down a server for his/her needs when the restaurant is not that busy and serving staff can be seen conversing with each other (or not at all!). On Wednesdays, they have the free pie day so that would be an understandable situation then, but not on other days.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on Saturday. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentative and very peppy. The food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time and was nice and hot as well. The food tasted pretty good but I wouldn't say it surpased any expectations.

Going here is always interesting because I am usually the only person under the age of 50 in the restaurant. Nevertheless, my friends and I have made this our usual brunch place. The Four Square Create Your Own Breakfast is both cheap and delicious! The coffee is decent, as well, and the servers are always around to refill it. Free pie Wednesdays are not as good as they used to be; now you have to buy a whole entree to get your free slice of pie! All around a good place, though!

Eaten here multiple times and I have never been disappointed. Food is great, service is good. Plus if you eat there on Wednesday you get a free slice of pie!

Extremely unproffessional and inattentive staff. Ordered breakfast my eggs were burned and dry. I sent it back only to eat it with a spoon because I got no fresh utensils. Coffee cup was dirty. Thinking that maybe they were having a bad day I went back the next day. I sat for 10 minutes and no one came to ask me for my order. They were not busy. Bakers Square used to be one if my favorite places - apparently they have lowered their expectations as is evident with the low quality employees they have hired.

I've only visited this location twice, but service has been excellent both times. My second visit being the most noteworthy. I don't visit necessary for the food, and I'm actually not really a pie fan (other than the occasional craving for apple pie). It's more the convenience of the location, as I seem to be in Greenfield quite often. The food is of good quality, there's definitely not complaints there. When visiting a chain restaurant, I have a certain expectation of service: Decent but not overwhelming. The servers at this location go above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. During one visit, the server made a point to learn my name, and personally address me each time she stopped by my table. Typically when I dine alone, servers tend to for the most part stop by the table a bare minimum, so it's nice to receive such personalized, friendly service. The restaurant is clean and has ample parking. Not to mention free wi-fi. But like most places with free wi-fi, I have one major complaint: no place to plug in. My laptop's battery isn't the best (and too expensive to replace), and if I'm running multiple programs like Word, Excel, Adobe, Firefox... I can burn through a battery in no time. Not being able to plug in means I order very little (just a soup), and get out quickly. With a power outlet, I tend to order a bigger lunch, or additional drinks (at someplace w/ a bar), or a dessert, while I work. This is a common complaint of mine. This is great location for breakfast or lunch when in the Greenfield/Southridge Mall area.

Been coming to BS for years, just not this location. Our server was very nice and great to start with but then it kind of went downhill from there. Bummer! A friend and I went there for lunch and ordered a club sandwich - which is my favorite and a BLT. Pretty simple sandwiches, no cooking, just the bacon.....it took 40 minutes to get our food - YIKES and I was starving of course which makes it all that much worse. That being bad enough we were in the middle of what I guess were the regulars and some lonely people who continued to shout across the isles to each other and we could not even hear our own conversation. I know one of the managers at this location and she is great so I can't say it's always like this but this last time i was there, not a great experience. Heads up, they changed their menu once again so just when you thought you were used to something you liked, it may be gone as many of the items are. I do have to admit, the menu changing a couple times a year is a bit frustrating. They need to find something they want to sell and represent and stick with it.

I have been to this location a few times just for pie, so I cannot review the food. They have a great selection of cream, custard and fruit pies. I've never had a bad pie from there and I do often crave their coconut and strawberry rhubarb (which is perfect topped with Kopp's vanilla custard). I really like that they are open pretty late and their service is always prompt. Nice that they always ask if you need utensils, just in case.

The food here is good and the pies are delicious. I am disappointed recently because I think that they cut portion size and increased their prices. The service is always solid, there are some long time servers who seem to really love what they do.
