This is one of these small plastic fork and knife places that always seem to be tucked into strip malls, but that being said the food here is good and the lunch specials are good value for your money. Limited seating inside, and no buffet unfortunately, but the dishes I've had so far (General Tso's Chicken, Kung Po Chicken) have been good. Not terribly innovative or dazzling, but good solid lunch fare. If you are after a quick type of meal, and looking for an inexpensive alternative to the fast food places, this is a good choice. Service is friendly and prompt, place is clean. And chopsticks are available! hours - m-th 11 am - 10pm f- sa - 11am - 11pm sun - 12 noon 10pm

The place was very dirty that we were even wondering not to get the take out.. but since it was late we went ahead to try. We ordered the combination fried rice for dinner takeout. There is absolutely no taste! Was the worst ever fried rice we have ever tried out and we eat A LOT of fried rice from all over. I can definitely say that the fried rice from dragon gourmet in Grafton was actually much better than this. I hope a good thai or chinese place opens up soon in Grafton. Till then Mequon it is.

I am currently in the Air Force so I only get to come home 1-2 times a year, but when I do, I always come here! I have been eating here for so many years and not once have I ever been dissapointed. I seriously cannot find a chinese place out in Maryland thats half as good as this place! This is the only place I get my chinese food from when I come to WI. My favorite is the crab rangoons and that delicious dipping sauce and the fried dumplings! Thank you for your great customer service too, the ladies always have a smile on their faces!

Me and my brother got take out here. The food was okay but later that night both of us had food poisoning. Don't go here somethings wrong with their food.

Good food fast. Use the online ordering and foods done when you get there. The inside could a little sprucing up.

Literally the worst Chinese food I've had in the US. No surprise it's in Grafton, WI I guess. The food tastes terrible (basic General Tso's), the fried rice tastes like gas. The chickens breading actually tasted old. There's a place on Five Corners thats better. Stay away from this place.

First, let me say that my husband loves this place. He gets the garlic chicken. But I hate the food here. The staff is nice and the food is ready quickly. But I have hated everything I got. The egg foo young is boring and the sauce is basically salt. The garlic broccoli was just not good. I'm disappointed as I really wanted to like the place.

Totally disappointed for the second time now. Service has not been great, and they ALWAYS get something wrong with our order. I called to complain tonight, and the lady never even apologized. Just put it on the gal that tool the order. Seemed fishy to me, too, because I asked for my vegetable fried rice with NO broccoli, and for my sesame chicken - easy on the sauce... Well, there was broccoli in my rice, and the sesame chicken was SWIMMING in sauce! She offered me %10 off my next order, which I found insulting, since they mass produce coupons for that constantly! Won't be back again, that's for sure!

The egg rolls are capstone to any Chinese-American restaurant and Spring Garden fits the bill on fantastic egg rolls! The monstrous egg roll has a delicious, cabbage and spiced pork filling and has a thick, extra crunchy wrapper. Dipped in sweet and sour sauce and served piping hot, the egg roll is like a meal in itself. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and as you walk through the door, you see the popular Chinese restaurant counter with photographs of the finished dishes on the wall. The dining room looks a little neglected and your opportunity to dine in is limited to about 5 tables. I enjoyed the tofu and vegetable dish that I had. The owner is very welcoming and I was amazed that she seemed to know all of her customers.

Really gone down hill. We ordered on average twice a month. She knew me by name... First we'd get scolded for using the website to place orders. Apparently the website company charges them 3%. Somehow this has become my problem. Not only is there more sand in the scallops, less shrimp in the hot and spicy, and the dumplings more chewy... But she charged me 52 cents more than the website said it would be. 18.48 turned into 19$ even... Followed with attitude. And we almost always give a 2$ tip. For take out! Never again. There are plenty of local businesses that appreciate your business- no matter how they get it. What a shame. If you do order, make sure to use the website or iPhone app. You know, one of the conveniences they offer. I'm sure they'll love you for it. You might even get a hand written note asking you not to order again- from the website. WHY HAVE THE WEBSITE IF NO ONE CAN USE IT???

I love Spring Garden. I always call ahead and swing by to pick up. The Crab Rangoon (extra sauce) and Pork Fried Rice are my favorite things! The food is always hot and ready in 10 minutes or less.

Probably the best Chinese food I've had, anywhere! The staff are amazing cooks and always friendly! I definitely recommend the Sweet & Sour Pork, General Tso's Chicken, or the Chicken Lo Mein!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
