A family favorite! We stick to the pizzas, and they are phenomenal with cracker-thin crust and amazing flavors (garlic lover's chicken and Thai this time around). The service was so-so, kind of felt like we were wasting our server's time. But, the view of the lake definitely made up for that, and we had a great evening.
Let's start with something positive. It's a very pretty and clean restaurant and the service is okay. That's it. Now on to the many complaints. It is not really a restaurant, but more of a bar and pizza joint. It is about as "Italian" as Pizza Hut. I wouldn't describe it as classy either, they served us water out of paper Coca-Cola cups. The tables are also very close together. One of the chefs left, so the menu has little to no selection. Beyond appetizers and desserts, you can get pizza, a salad, or a special. I got the special, which was deep fried walleye with au gratin potatoes or French fries. Oh, wait they don't offer French fries anymore, they just haven't redone the menu yet. I asked if I could get a side salad instead. "That will be $3 extra." What's more the au gratin potatoes tasted like they came from a can. The walleye tasted very fishy and the coating was cornflake thick. It tasted more like cod. $16 for a disappointing dinner. I recommend ANY restaurant in the area over The Enchanted Inn.
