A decent place, way better burger and experience then Kopps. The custard was pretty darn good too. This is a great spot to get a quick meal if you have kids. The best part however is the friendliness of the staff. Natalie took our order, made recommendations and was extremely nice. But all of the staff were nice and helpful.

My main comment about this place is, HOLY CRAP IS IT EXPENSIVE!!!! Went there for the first time ever the other night, (and probably my last), and I was very surprise with their prices for fast food...the food is NOT even that great tasting either!! I was not impressed!!! For $26.86 I can get 2 whole meals, 1 appetizer, and dessert in a real restaurant!! That is freaking insane for only 2 "meals," (everything is added separately, and overpriced). I ended up taking the fries and 1 drink off, and it was still $20!!!! Go to B-52 in the Menomonee Falls area...it is wayyyyyyyyy better tasting food, and reasonable prices for their portions!!! Better service too...The teenagers working at Roberts had major attitude!!

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was terrible. For $6.49, the meat had no flavor, the bun was blend and the cheese was processed cheese. In addition, they charged me for 1 slice of fresh tomato for $0.50! French fries were an extra $1.99. The custard might be good, but the burger was horrible. MacDonakd serves better burger and French fries for much less. I would not recommend this place.

We ordered turtle sundaes. For the price they could have had a lot more caramel, fudge and pecans. The Kilte in Oconomowoc charges a little less and the sundaes are loaded.

Overpriced for what you get. Staff when we ordered was very nice, but either didn't know how to work the POS system or didn't hear us because we got a plain grilled chicken sandwich when we ordered a cordon blue sandwich. We ate it anyway because it took a while to come out, but the chicken was gristly and bland. Also ordered the cream puff sundae. For $5ish bucks you figure you'd get more than a single scoop of custard, but you don't. Also skimpy on the hot fudge. You know how Ned Flanders favorite popsicle flavor is plain? He'd like the vanilla custard here. Not much flavor to speak of at all. I feel bad for Germantown residents if this is the only custard place they're stuck with.

It is always a great to stop in here or grab a carry out order when driving passed this place. It is the Kopps of Germantown is the best way I can describe it. They have great, large burgers and offer a flavor of the day custard that is always delicious. It is truly a treat to stop in here. I have ordered a few larger orders for work through them and they are always on point with the orders. It is always busy in this place. Overall, good and quick burgers and custard if you are in the area.

This is a good place for a good burger. They offer fair prices and friendly staff. I always have a good experience here. I especially like the mix of specials and soups. The custard is usually very good too. Perhaps they could offer combo meals.

Best burger in germantown! Very clean and the employees are well mannered. Try the flavor of the day or your favorite custard.

Their Bailey's irish cream fro yo is super yummy. Loved the warm fireplace, the curly fries and the wings. Greasy but good.

I usually order carry-out because I eat so slowly that dining is no longer the pleasure for me that it once was, not to mention, I can take a carry-out order home (or to my hotel room) and graze all evening. Robert's comes highly recommended by friends, neighbors and Yelpers (except for the customary one-star grouch) so I gave it a go after about a year of not going there. The food was grand, and it would have been better if it had been what I ordered. Yeah, I know, I should have taken it back but by the time I get home, going back just isn't a palatable option. A week later, I wanted to give them another chance to get it right. I ordered fish (Robert's is noted for fish) with sweet potato fries and an extra coleslaw. First, the order was correct! Secondly, the staff of mostly high school kids was friendly, giggly and very attentive. And more importantly, they were all doing something. Those without something to do FOUND something to do (washing glass, cleaning tables, tending the counter, etc) a pleasure to behold. My fish had a tasty, light breading that was crispy and not soaked with oil. The sweet potato fries were delicious and not overly salted, as many places tend to do fries. Lastly, the coleslaw has a slight kick to it, it seems to have a bit of horseradish in it that adds a bite without going overboard. Robert's will be my Friday fish of choice in the future.

The Burgers are better than Kopp's! Like the menu & website say, they are jumbo burgers. The onion rings & fries rock too! Robert's has quite the extensive menu with wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups & of course custard. Sometimes on cold days , they offer chili. Although, Robert's is out in the sticks, sometimes it's worth the drive. I'd say Robert's has mastered the almighty grill and soda fountain. The custard is excellent too.

I finally ordered a fish fry. That was one of thee best fish fries I have had in quite a while. Quality products through and through. The fish was moist and flavorful (could have been drained on a paper towel though a little greezy), the tartar sauce was just right, the cole slaw was a fine shred which i like once in a while. The mashed potatoes!!! Oh my god!!! Those were delicious!!! A great gravy, little chunks of potato and just a hint of garlic. Was there cheese in there too? Can't remember. RFC you have a winner winner fishy fry dinner!!!

Great family restaurant. Does a lot for the community. Their staff is always very helpful with a smiling face. Would recommend to everyone to check it out.

Came here for a fish fry today. Was tended to right away with no wait. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made for a smooth ordering process. Food was pretty good. Cooked just right taste and temperature. Condiments came with my meal and the ones that didn't were easily accessible. Cost- 16$ for my fish fry but I added clam chowder at $5. I did not get a drink with my meal but they do have cups for water. Portions are hearty and filling. The cost will keep me away but the excellence in the food will have me coming back occasionally. All in all, a comfortable, welcoming experience.

Roberts used to be good, but I'm not sure what has happened the past few years. Borrowing from Culver's mantra "good food takes time," Roberts should be outstanding, but that is not the case here. Whether it's the questionable quality of meat in the burgers, the increasing scarce quantity of chicken with tenders or wings (see photo), or the outright inability to correctly deliver a drive-thru order, this place feels like it's following in the path of Jerry's business model, and that didn't work out too well for them. If you want fast food that doesn't take 20 minutes in the drive-thru, head to McDonald's. If you want GOOD fast food, head into the Falls to Culver's.

I love their custard here. my dad loves to take us here just for custard, so i haven't had much of the other food. The sundaes are hand dipped and made to order and even the vanilla custard is great. protip: if you want to know the flavor of the day, check their facebook page, they post it daily.

Man the vanilla custard here is awesome. Even when I have dinner elsewhere, I often drive through here and pick up a custard for dessert. Their 3 piece fish fry is good too. The mushroom Swiss burger was just ok. But come here for the custard!!

We LOVE Robert's!! Staff is always super helpful and friendly. Food is always great! Darren does so much for the community. Hands down, best place for burgers and custard in the area!!!

I have to say - I really love this place for a number of reasons. Sure, Wisconsin if full of burger and custard joints, but this one is a little different. Robert's selection of food options is much larger than the competition such as culvers, kopps, oscars, murfs, etc. I also feel the quality of food here is better. The burgers have more flavor, and they actually have cheese curds! As direct competition to places like Kopps, it's about time. Even better though - they have freshly made wraps if you are watching your figure and don't want a burger to kick you off the health wagon. The restaurant is very clean, VERY clean and is a nice family style environment. On some evenings, this place is PACKED when youth sports teams get out because they all seem to gravitate here for food and custard. The custard is also fantastic. My personal favorite Robert's favorite though is a bacon cheeseburger with ketchup, a root beer and cheese curds. Note though - the food is made fresh and is not "Fast" as some would expect. So come to Robert's while not in a rush, and enjoy yourself and the food. Another fantastic thing about Robert's is their communication with customers online through Facebook. facebook.com/pages/Rober… They are always updating people and communicating with them which is what companies need to do today. A great example of how their social experience helps make them a success. I live about 35 minutes from Roberts and about 5 from Kopps. Honestly I would prefer to go to Robert's if it really boiled down to getting a burger. Great experience. Love this place. You will too.

I've always been a huge fan of frozen custard and Robert's is among the best! They have a flavor of the day and publish a new list each month so you can plan ahead to catch all your favorite flavors. Some of my faves include the Bailey's Irish Cream and the Chocolate Pecan Turtle, but I always like to compare different places based on their classic vanilla - theirs is very creamy and flavorful and is used as the base for a number of other flavors. Robert's also has a great selection of food, from burgers to buffalo chicken fingers to a tasty fish fry. I highly recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger - both delicious and enormous! The place is very clean and has ample seating, both inside and out. The staff are all super friendly and obviously enjoy working there. Always a great experience.

Roberts is great. It is a bit out of the way for lunch - but over the years I've dragged co-workers up to Roberts and they always want to come back for more. I do agree with some reviewers that prices are a little high - but not outrageous - but the portions are enormous. While the food is very very good - it is the service that is exceptional. Always fast and friendly. If there is something not right - speak up - they absolutely positively will make it right.

Local family business in a world of chain custard spots. Channeling my Flor, I'll say support your mom and pops. 4.25 stars Cost to worth it rating: 3 Return worthiness: YES! Highlights: - Frozen custard: the star here. Super creamy with exceptional flavors of the day like caramel brownie (more like fudge chunks) and really Reese's (peanut butter ice cream with crushed up Reese pb cup). Even the everyday Bavarian chocolate is delightfully rich. - Fried fish: better than some sit down establishments and available not just on Fridays. - Onion rings: crispy bready goodness - Buffalo chicken tenders: spicy and saucy covering on the white meat chicken paired with buttermilk ranch. I'm not a buffalo rancher, but my niece and nephew love these and say they're made when you order em. - Friendly staff: the nice lady offered to get my 2 1/2 year old nephew a high chair and brought it over. They also deliver your meal to your table. - Atmosphere: nice combo of tables and booths inside and outdoor tables as well. They're festive around the holidays (ex. a long row of American flags during the 4th of July) - Drive thru: high convenience level Lowlights: - No cheese curds: blasphemy for a Wisconsin custard/eating establishment. Adding these alone would up their rating. Love their custard and close to where my sis and fam lives, so I'll be back.

So, I liked the burger, but it wasn't anything special. I actually feel like a heart attack could be coming on for two reasons. 1) The shear size of the actual burger (3-4 times the size of a McDonald's burger and similar in size to a What-a-burger) and 2) the cost of the burger ($6.85 just for the burger). I mean seriously, it was good, but with fries and a drink you would be running in the $10 range. Just not sure its worth the price or the stomach ache that is bound to follow. If you are looking for an enormous burger and an equally enormous bill, then check it out. Don't get me wrong, its a good burger! Just saying... Hello calories, goodbye waist line...

YUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a huge fan of frozen custard and Robert's does NOT disappoint. As far as "fast food" goes their prices are a bit steep - you will drop about $7 for a burger (and that does NOT include fries) but you're not just getting any old burger here folks, this burger is serious quality! The service is also fantastic. You can't really have a bad experience here. Robert's is the perfect place when you feel like you deserve a little (or BIG) treat.

Had a late lunch yesterday at this fast food restaurant. Ordered what they called a Grilled Chicken Caesar salad at $7.99! Basically large pieces of romaine, pre-packaged white chicken bits ( not "grilled"), powdered Parmesan, pre-packaged dressing, cellophane wrapped croutons all served in a plastic take-out tray with a plastic fork. How a $3.99 (max) salad costs $7.99 is a mystery that left a ripped-off customer saying " I won't ever eat there again"!

This is a custard and burger place. If you are not from this area you may have a very strange idea about what frozen custard is. It is not like the custard the English eat - and if that is your idea of custard, the frozen variety would sound disgusting. Instead, it is a cold, rich and creamy delight flavored in so many different ways that it can taste like anything from raspberries to a wedding cake. If you have never had it, you must. It may spoil you for ice cream, but it is worth it. All of that being said, the custard here is great. It comes from a real custard machine - not a soft serve ice cream machine - and it is rich creamy and delicious. The burger part of the equation is good, but not outstanding. The portions are large (which I count as a good thing. If nothing else, it warms up well for a snack later that night) and the buns accommodate the size of the meat nicely. My one complaint is that because they are fried and not broiled they tend to be much greasier than they need to be. While the prices are a little more than comparable places, going to a chain over a good burger place like Robert's is a giant mistake. You will never get anything but hot fresh made-to-order food from this mom and pop and that alone is worth the extra few dollars.

Good substitute for kopps if you don't feel like driving to Milwaukee. Custard is good although I wish the flavor of the day was posted on the outdoor sign. Good place for burger, fries, malts, and custard.

I absolutely love Robert's. They have good sandwhiches and custard. Very akin to Kopps, so if you're in the area, I highly reccomend stopping by.

Good burger and ice cream, but management is very rude on several occasions.

I LOVE this place and when I crave a burger, this is the only place that I will go. I've taken out-of-town guests here, and when they return for a visit, they always request a visit to Roberts. The kid's meal is a great value and enough to satisfy an adult. $3.79 for a cheeseburger, fries, soda and custard. The restaurant is an upscale fast food style restaurant. The drive-thru wait may be a little longer than the traditional fast food type restaurants, but worth the wait for great quality food and everything is made to order and fresh.
