I enjoy my occasional trips to the Northwoods Supper Club. It is by no means fancy but they have a nice selection of entrees and a good salad bar. We usually start with a stop by the bar before dinner but this time we had little children with us so it was right to the table. We were immediately seated as we had reservations on this very busy weekend. We were quickly served our drinks and orders taken. Being vegetarian in a bit very vegetarian friendly part of the country can present a challenge, but I know that I can could go off menu and order a very nice plate of pasta with sautéed veggies and either marinara or Alfredo sauce. I was not disappointed! All tables get a mini loaf of fresh bread - and that is always yummy! Several of the party got the fish fry, plus there was an order of deep fried shrimp, and a couple specialty sandwiches. Every one was satisfied with their order. Boxes of food was taken home by several! There is homemade dessert here as well, which I have had and it's great! It's not super fancy but I enjoy visiting here when we want to have a bite to eat out and about. And their margaritas are great. So there is that! :)
