This place is phenomenal. They have the best Chicago style stuffed pizza in Wisconsin. They also cater and will bend over backwards for their customers. Love it!

This is one of the cleanest subways I have been to. The tables and floor are spotless. There are lots of school age kids that work here but are well trained and get the job done. The owner seems to live here. He is always around and acts like he wants to be. It's good to see that he takes an active part in the running of this Subway. The food was very good and the servers were cheerful. What more can you say. They also have the newest of the new drive up window ordering screens. It is a big touch pad and you just touch what you want and how you want it and it is magically made by some robot in the store. (a joke). We will see how this works when it's twenty below outside. Give it a shot if in the area.
The prior owner of this location was nut job. The new owner has really stepped up, yes their are high school and college kids that work there at night. It is Subway! Honestly, the prices are always consistent, I am a picky sub eater, they make my subs as I ask all the time, consistently. If you are reading this review, you know this was a nice location run by a psycho path prior to 2013. The drive thru addition is a nice touch especially during the frigid winter months! I really feel that the new owner has invested in this location and should be recognized for his turn around efforts!

The food is very great. Services is awesome. Everything else was great I love the tables set up the way they set up the coffee. The only team that I miss was fresh squeezed orange juice.
Great food. Well done and everything came out hot. Service was excellent. Got the bacon and avocado skillet and it made 2 meals and was delicious. Would go again!
I've been here twice and really enjoyed the food I've had and the waitstaff is all really friendly. You also get very big portions for a great price.

Had not been their to eat in a while, I must say it was very good. Had their Friday fish fry and they had a great large selection of good food. Had a very good Brandy old fashion adult drink at a reasonable price, nice bar. Very clean and can handle a lot of people. The owners Gary and Debbie are great owners and they are there to make sure you and family enjoy yourself's. Just good food, burgers and pizza's and they have a nice bowling alley too! A great family place to stop in and enjoy!

I absolutely love going out for breakfast during the week. Though I am very happy with my hometown breakfast places, I felt the urge to try something different, so I loaded up a kid and drove to Cottage Grove. The outside of this place is so unassuming that I drove by it twice. It's in the middle of a strip mall and does not have a large sign. Also, it is a small space and had quite a few tables but didn't seem crowded (we sat in a booth). I was surprised at the size of the menu. So many skillet breakfasts! I had the greek skillet and really liked it (they obligingly left out the onions). It had a couple of eggs on top and a little cup of tzaziki. I ate just over half and was completely full. My son couldn't decide between the Mickey Mouse pancakes and the chocolate chip pancakes, luckily the waitress asked if he wanted chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancakes. A little thing, but it made him very happy. It came with a whipped cream face and two strips of bacon (he used the bacon to give it a unibrow - proud mom here). Not a big eater, but he ate it all and said he'd go back. So, very nice casual small-town*** place. *** Not an insult. There's nothing wrong with small towns.
Breakfast Review Only: Pretty easy to find location directly on Cottage Grove Rd (coming from Madison it will be located on your left in a strip mall 1/4 mile after the Piggly Wiggly). The Good- My coffee tasted good (I drink it black ~ exactly how coffee should be!). Not a single time did I look down on an empty cup. The 3 servers they had working walked around consistently with coffee pots. Service overall was alright. Our food was ordered and delivered to the table with in about 10 mins. for 4 people. They had an excellent selection of bread (including rye and sour dough!!!!) for choices as an accompaniment with your breakfast choice. Everything looked very clean and organized! Plenty of parking! I would say a solid 3.5/4 stars for the good. But, I went for food....so here comes the Bad... The Bad: I ordered the Greek Gyro Skillet. It was simple hash browns in a bowl layered with very, very small sliced gyro meet (I had a hard time finding any to tell the truth). A few sprinkles of feta cheese, like 3 small chopped tomatoes (like they ran out or something) and supposedly some onions? 2 eggs scrambled on the very top. Everything unseasoned and plain. They threw in a very small plastic container of yogurt sauce....but I'm not sure what for since I didn't have anything resembling a gyro in this. I got the sour dough bread as my side choice. 2 slices that came with a small amount of butter tossed on. Blah. Unfortunately, the other 3 people I was with said about the same thing for there ordered food as well.... Maybe we came on a bad morning. Maybe the cook had a rough Saturday night? I don't know. Based off the other reviews my expectations were too high. It is very quiet in here. Please turn up some music or something to fill the dark noise. Kind of a major let down. Will I try it again: Yes.....Gyro's were $5.75, and I'm game to try one eventually down the road when I'm craving a close Gyro to my home proximity. I'm such a sucker for a Gyro.
I must have walked into the wrong restaurant. After reading such high reviews, I thought this restaurant could not be beat! Wrong. I should have gone to my usual place, the Cottage Cafe. I was tempted because this place served gyros. I ordered gyro meat with eggs, potatoes and toast. The gyro was old and dry. I could tell it had been reheated because the edges were crumbly. The eggs were good, the hash browns were good and the toast was good. However, nothing was great. The coffee was ok. It was coffee. They had some fun creamer options (caramel, irish, vanilla). However, this is not enough to make a great breakfast spot.

I came here a few Saturdays ago with some coworkers for a going away party for one of them. Parking is very easy as there is a lot across the street and even more behind the building. A friend and I arrived before everyone else did so we had a seat at the bar and had drinks, the bartender was courteous and suggested a drink for my friend. When the rest of the party arrived we sat down and our server took our drink order and explained the daily specials (prime rib). The table ordered calamari and it was good, not rubbery and served with a marinara sauce. All of the entrees came with salad, it was a basic side salad with a choice of house made dressings, I ordered the lime vinaigrette and it was very good, very limey. My entrée was the Prime Rib 10oz cut, cooked medium rare with mashed potatoes. It was good, the prime rib lacked seasoning, but overall was a good dish. The restaurant has a woodfired oven right in the bar for pizzas, but the oven wasn't working that day. Breads and desserts are made in house. Good overall meal in Cottage Grove.
They have a good beer selection and it's a cute place, but I've been here twice now and both times I've been disappointed by the food. Not good at all.
We just went for the mothers day brunch. Had reservations for 10:00 yet the buffet wasn't even ready. The food was all very good when it was finally ready but for just being put out it wasn't the hottest. Good variety of food with made to order omlettes waffles pot roast chicken etc. However they are not set up for a buffet....it was backed up immediately. The area is too small to have a buffet line with people having omlettes made. The food was good and the service was terrible despite a required 20 percent gratuity added to the bill. We had to continually ask for coffee refills. The servers all stood to the side talking and eating. We'll probably come again but management needs to take a look at the service or more won't return.

Tasty pizza and nice atmosphere. Be warned that soft drinks get one free refill. We had the cheese breadstick appetizer and BBQ chicken pizza. Both were tasty. The Mac n Cheese pizza is our family favorite and ice cream cones for dessert- yum!
Nice atmosphere, the building was converted from an old car wash. The pizza is decent. Cheeseburger pizza is our favorite, it's really really good.
The place is clean and updated, which is a plus, but everything else was sort of lacking. The service was slow, the food was mediocre.
