Attempted to go there today for lunch. The manager refused to take our Groupon, and then proceeded to get the owner on the phone. The manager came up to me and said "I am not getting a satisfactory answer from the owner, so will you talk to him?" When I took the phone the owner introduced himself as Jeff and then proceeded to explain how they lose money on Groupons and despite what the certificate says in the fine print (where it details how they must accept the certificate), that they were choosing not to. When I questioned him about this he said "Are you seriously going to press this issue with me and make us lose money?" He was beyond rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER take my business to anyplace he is affiliated with.

I enjoy a good latte in the morning..... Unfortunately they don't make them well here. Save your $5 if they're your thing and head somewhere else! Is a vanilla latte really that hard to make? C'mon!!!

Cute cafe, epic bottled beer selection, and enough rental gear to outfit me and friends when we went, after a brief wait for some other folks to come back. The gear seemed fine, comfortable, it worked, and seemed pretty new. The skis weren't the skating kind. It's right across the road from the start of the trail, which is a couple of miles long, quite flat, and very nice at least for beginners. The food was good too, nice fresh soups, and fresh, warm flatbread for the pizzas and to dip in the hummus, which isn't real hummus, but is tasty.

After buying a Groupon a year ago for snowshoeing ang hot chocolate,we finally had a chance to check it out. However, management changed since the Groupon was purchased and it would no longer be honored. Since they were running a 2 for 1 special this weekend, it didn't matter to us if we used the Groupon. Due to the inconvenience they comped our snowshoe rental, which was unnecessary but very appreciated. After snowshoeing, we got the queso and chips to munch on. The dip was delicious. They had some leftover snacks from a holiday special they were running, so the cafe person made us a plate for our toddler at no charge. We were also happy to see an excellent beer selection to unwind with. A plus if you have younger kids, they have games, books, crayons and coloring books for your kids to entertain themselves with. I can't wait to go back!

Great food, delicious alters coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating and even a bike repair shop! They have a very cool chill ambiance and a beautiful mural inside. I saw advertisements for live music there-- will definitely be back to see that!!!

The best I could think to describe Camrock Sport: This is the place you really wanted to see in small town like Cambridge but didn't expect to find. What I liked the most is that people behind the counter actually listen to you. On top of this - good coffee, iMac register, great food. Go small biz! Also, now it's easy to entertain guests out of town that like MTB, since it was a hassle to find a place in Madison that rent decent mountain bikes.

A trip to CamRock Cafe was part of what my friend later deemed 'one of the best weekends ever.' We rented cross country skis and went out on the CamRock trail, a flat, lovely meander through the woods. While the trail has hillier side trails, the main stretch is perfect for beginners. Back at the cafe, we got hot cocoa with soy milk and a plate of tortilla chips with hummus. They also had a great selection of beer, wine, cider, and specialty sodas. We ate by the fireplace and I can imagine it's only more cozy and delightful at night when they have live music. The staff are incredibly friendly, honest, and,at least in the rental area, passionate about what they do. I loved my experience there. Note: book ski rentals in advance, a few days to a week might be necessary after a big snow.

We stopped in to rent bikes to hit the trail that is literally right outside the back door. We were pleasantly surprised with the food....Great sandwiches and flatbreads! When we returned we decided to stay for a beer and the selection was top notch with over 100 different beers. Service was super friendly....we'll be back again and next time it will be to kayak

Good sandwiches, great Alterra coffee, and a fantastic assortment of craft brews. I think this is the best spot in town for lunch these days. The toasted sandwiches are tasty by themselves, and even better paired with a beer. On a cold day, order a bowl of soup, the toasted ham and Swiss, and grab a seat by the huge fireplace. Settle in and warm up. It looks as though if you order at least four sandwiches online for dinner, they'll knock $1 off each.

Great place to stop and get a cup of coffee or tea on the way to Milwaukee. It's nice having an option for hot drinks that isn't McDonald's or gas station. Love that they use Colectivo beans and Letterbox teas.

Groupon fail! This place continues to put up groupons for their cross-country ski packages but they don't have enough equipment .

We needed something like this place for quite a while around here. The food is good and I love the ambience. We also rented one Saturday and had a blast! I can't wait to try snow shoes this winter!

We have come to the Cafe many times, with friends, kids or just the two of us for a quiet meal and a drink. During the summer it is a great place to sit and enjoy a casual meal inside or out in the front under the shade. Music on the weekends is always a nice touch and a great way to have a simple and tasteful evening. We have recently rented bikes and road the CamRock Trail. This is a definite must if you have the extra time, or just go for a walk and come back for a glass of wine. The service is always excellent in the bike shop and the food service. Spinning classes are coming up soon as well as x-country skiing and snowshoeing. I can't wait (neither can my kids and wife)!

Where else can you meet up for a pre-ride coffee and snack, and come back to refuel (both liquid and solid) and hang out? Oh, and they can fix your bike or hook you up with whatever gear you need, too? Cam Rock Café and Sport is a real gem! Located right by the trails, it's the perfect place to meet up for your mountain bike ride. A lot of people park at the Cam Rock 3 lot at the other end, which is cool, but we always prefer to start and end at the Café. There's street, lot, and across-the-street lot parking, and there's really no better way to wind down after a MTB session than chilling with a brew on the patio. The beer cooler is stocked with a *great* variety of beers from all over. Even a beer hunter like me finds stuff here that I haven't seen before. (Pro tip: grab a punch card and you'll earn free ones!). I really can't say enough about the beer selection here, beer is really my thing, and I love the selection. And they're always getting good new stuff to keep the selection fresh. The food is great, too. Lots of really nice, healthy sandwich choices with fresh ingredients. My review is focused on what I've experienced the most - the café, but it is Cam Rock Café and Sport - there's a full bike shop here too! I've grabbed an accessory or two here, and it's really great to have this bike shop right at the trailhead. They've got a tire pump for anyone to use (who hasn't forgotten to dial in their tire pressure before a ride?), and they'll fix what needs fixing before you go out. They've also got a nice demo fleet, so if you're new to mountain biking and want to give it a try, you can rent a sweet ride, or if you're already into it and thinking about an upgrade, give a new bike a test run. Maybe you'll be winning races like my French buddy who rented a Superfly here, and then bought one!

Yes just yes.....so happy this is so close to Deerfield. I was starting to get depressed I would have to eat nasty subway luches for my whole career.... This is a wonderful spot with fresh ingredients and a mountain biker vibe. I love the combined bike shop, restaurant, coffee shop and bar. I will be back for sure to test my luck on the trails and get my specialized tuned for the spring. Kudos again Camrock
