FANTASTIC food! I travel for work and was thrilled to find an organic and wholesome food cafe. The rainbow quinoa salad was the best meal I've had all week and the vegetable soup was also amazing. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff too.

What a perfect stop for breakfast and coffee! I was pleasantly surprised that they had much more than just cupcakes and pastries! They had eggs, fresh fruit, HOT (warm, delicious, yummy) granola, soups and a great little selection on their lunch menu. Did I mention that they are brewing Colectivo Coffee! I had their breakfast burrito and it was exactly what I was looking for. Salsa, sour cream and jalapeños on side and I was sold. Ambiance leaves a little bit to be desired but overall I will have to remember to stop here as I'm going through Brookfield. Keep an eye on their hours though, they are closed on Sunday's.

This my fourth or fifth time here and as always-AMAZING. Decaf caramel latte - to the temp I wanted - grilled cheese special of the day was outstanding - but this cookie... Goodness me. Make an effort to find this place when you have time to savor the difference of whole foods!

The food here is amazing! The bakery cake and other yummies are some of the best I have ever eaten. I came in for cupcakes, had the breakfast burrito, and now I have had other sandwiches. This is one of the few places that makes everything, everything from scratch. Come in and try them for yourself! They even have your favorite coffee.

What's great about this place are the cupcakes and the soup. There is a high level of quality in the preparation of the food that is easy to taste immediately. I really appreciate the gluten free options and the fabulous textures and parings of the innovative daily soups. What's not great about this place is that I've been their at least 15-20 times since they opened and haven't once received the correct or expected meal I ordered. It could be as small an inconsistency as asking for the side of the day and instead receiving a side of fruit to asking for a soup and sandwich meal that is not at all what I ordered for a sandwich. Last week, I ordered the soup of the day and half of a tuna fish sandwich; no further questions were asked and no further information was provided...I received a tuna fish sandwich in a flour tortilla with southwestern sauce, and banana peppers and it was hot. This is not my idea of a tuna fish sandwich...and by the way in the past I've ordered a tuna fish sandwich and received it on bread, with lettuce and tomato so I was naturally shocked to have received this new version without warning. Today, I ordered the same "soup of the day with a tuna fish sandwich" this time I was specific: I asked for Tuna fish on wheat bread, with no tomato, and only lettuce and onions. I received a tuna fish sandwich on hard, cold and dry wheat bread, with southwestern sauce slathered on both pieces of bread, a few mixed greens, banana peppers and no onions...what? I've dealt with it and continued to return to the location without mentioning to the owner because the soup and cupcakes are so delicious. However, today was my breaking point, they should have this ironed out by now. So, I tried to call to apprise the owner of the reoccurring situation to which no one apparently was able to pick up the phone. This place has some serious work flow processes and the staff is constantly changing over...I'd stick to soup and cupcakes and if you must have something more it wouldn't hurt to over communicate your exact request.

Have the most amazing Chicken quinoa soup - with mango. They have gluten free and dairy free choices. And those cupcakes! Teas and coffees and everything else!

Very friendly staff and great food! Had the chicken taco soup (which reminds me of Chili) and a hot turkey sandwich, both of which were delicious. The place smells delicious the instant you walk in. Everyone has been very kind!

I stopped for lunch of a soup and sandwich with a coffee. I had seen this listed as having great vegan/vegetarian options, yet almost everything listed on the menu had meat in it. That was disappointing. The veggie sandwich was good, and the soup was okay. Overall, I thought it was overpriced for what I got. My visit was around Thanksgiving, and I heard people ordering Thanksgiving dinners which were vegan, etc. It's nice to know they offer options like this, but I wish there were more on the menu.

Went to lunch here today with a friend mainly because of his gluten free allergies. I was hesitant at first but one look at the menu and I was hooked. I had their special of the day and I cannot remember having a fresher more creative lunch sandwich in the area. I would highly recommend that you stop and give this place a try!

It is great to have another whole food made from scratch if possible restaurant in the area. I usually don't give 5 stars but really good quality food and great service deserves 5 stars. This is my first visit here and I loved the quality and the few reviews I read in yelp about the service so far I didn't experience. Fast, friendly and accurate. I had the southwest chicken taco soup and the ham and muenster grilled cheese sandwich. The soup had a nice southwest spice and big chunks of chicken. Very flavorful and each spoonful had cheese in it. It was topped with avocado slices. Very nice! The sandwich had fresh slices of tomato and cucumber with a spread that u don't know what was in it but amazing quality. You usually get what you pay for and here the price may be a bit high but for the quality the prices are very reasonable. I am looking forward to my next visit. The restaurant has this on their wall, "In this place... We do loud really well. We do grace and we do second chances. We do mistakes and I'm sorrrys. We do hugs, family and live. We do REAL!" Give this place a try!

I stopped in to try this place out because of the reviews here online. The soup was highly recommended by most reviewers. However,The specials of the day were mostly crossed out with very few left to choose from. I stop by for soup, they were out of both varieties. They were also out of the side dish of the day. There was little to choose from and no real recommendations offered. I left.

Today was my first time visiting, and it is now my new favorite!! Their food was absolutely delicious and had impeccable quality. I ordered the tomato mozzarella sandwich and half a cup of the brussel sprout and squash soup. It was all just perfect and delicious. You can tell the quality of the preparation and ingredients are worth the price. I also got a red velvet cake cupcake and it just melted in my mouth. Please open a downtown Milwaukee location! It would be a hit around Brady street.

Thought I would try this place out on my lunch break since I had no idea what I wanted, I just knew I was hungry and needed to get back to the office in a hurry. I saw this place pop up after Caribou Coffee left, and I definitely wanted to see what this place had to offer. I did the build your own sandwich on a bagel, with turkey, lettuce, tomato, swiss and whole grain honey mustard... it was amazing, and tasty, and definitely fresh! The side of the day was sweet potatoes with cinnamon and fresh fruit. Everything was really, really great. If only this place was a little more on the reasonable side for prices, I would come here at least a few times during the work week. The combo I got was $10.95... a little up there for the portion size, but at least it made up for it in taste :) Can't wait to try their plethora of cupcakes (they have gluten free too!) as well as one of their Collectivo coffee drinks! Highly recommend!

Ate there today for breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito and my husband had a roast beef sandwich. We both really enjoyed our food. I asked for no peppers, but there was peppers in the burrito so that was a bummer but no biggie. The place was cute inside. The seating arrangement a little strange and compacted. Not a fan of the super tiny round tables. Would love to see some more decor and some how make the place feel more cozy. Staff was super friendly. They were on their toes when it came to keeping the place clean. Overall a good experience and will be going back!

I went in because I was enticed by the cupcake picture on the outside but enjoyed my shredded chicken buffalo wrap and carrot fries so much I did not need dessert. The ingredients are all fresh and the staff is warm, friendly and very helpful.
