First time Blazin. Loved the pizza. The thought of build-your-own pizza is a great idea. It was so tasty. Crust was great too(and I don't usually eat the crust). I like the process of it as well. Pick out your sauce, toppings and that's pretty much it. They also have salads and specialty pizzas for people who want everything done for them. It's a good sized pizza too. It's pretty much sliced into 6-7 decently sized pieces so it's just enough to fill you up and to not leave you(to hungry). I will definitely be returning.

I've been wanting to try Blaze for a while, and I'm glad I did. It's an interesting, albeit confusing concept- fast food pizza. I ordered the red vine (not to be confused with the delicious red candy) which had red sauce, chunks of mozzarella, basil, cherry tomatoes, and olive oil drizzle. It was AWESOME. Super thin and crispy crust, very flavorful ingredients... I devoured it. The size was perfect for one very hungry person. The only complaint is about the sauce- a tad too sweet for my palette. The Gorgonzola side salad was also fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be returning to Blaze for some delicious fast fired pizza!

Hands down best pizza (aside from Chicago style of course) ever. Why? Because you MAKE IT YOURSELF. So many options await you once you step into Blaze- including a gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Fad dieters are welcome. It's 7.95 for a thin crust pizza with unlimited toppings (trust me, you'll find great joy in piling 'em on there). Enough for two people, but what's the fun in that? My greatest stressor when getting Blaze is whether to get the spicy marinara sauce or the white sauce. Little did my amateur brain know that the workers are so understanding they'll make a half and half. And don't forget the pesto drizzle on top- I highly recommend! One of my friends likes to go the unusual route and use the pesto as a sauce. It gets pretty messy with all the oil, but hey if you're a pesto aficionado like she is, you can get a kick out of that option as well. Because they make the pizzas on the spot assembly-line style, you'll get your food in no time and it's perfect for a quick lunch break. If you want a pizza, come here. There's no other option quite as satisfying.

Crap! Why didn't I think of this first??!! Yes, it's the Q-doba of Pizza. I don't mind that's it's a corporate chain. They're doing it right and they're giving the masses what they want. The quality of their ingredients appears to be very high, and the price is right! Lunch for two with drinks, well under $20. I have to admit it's a great way to sell fast-food pizza. You slide down the counter picking out your ingredients like you would at a Subway. Once you finish with your selections, they pop it in the oven. By the time you get your drink and get situated at your table, your pizza it out of the oven. This is no NYC style "warm up a slice" routine, this is a make-from scratch, start with raw ingredients cooking method. I'm a fan of the crust; nice and thin, slightly chew, with just the right amount of crust. No soggy, limp gummy crust here. They keep it simple, and they do it well. No complaints!

Excellent job! Had a gluten free crust with a spicy red sauce! Yes, it was spicy and good! Lots of fresh toppings to choose from. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the noise!! After they put the pizza in the oven they toss the wood board into the pile....I jumped every time! Too loud!! The other issue, so they have to call you name out to get your pizza, again more noise as the worker shouts a name out every 30 seconds! Wow, my eardrums hurt from the noise echoing in the place! Easy fixes that I hope they take into consideration. Otherwise you can go wrong with the food!

Love the pizza here! I don't think you can go wrong. My favorite is the white top pizza with white sauce, bacon, arugula, and garlic.... YUM! I'm craving it just writing this review. The best part though is how fast it is.

Amazing. Fresh. Friendly. Delicious. Artisanal. Thin crust. Pick one topping for under $6 or signature or build your own for $8. Save some room for the s'more pie!! I might have it for dinner too. They are friendly. They aren't stingy on the toppings. They make awesome suggestions on toppings to combine. The manager came by and checked in to see how we were enjoying the food. It was fantastic!

  • Brian V.

Delicious! It was my first time there and the girl behind the counter explained all the options thoroughly. One price for whatever I want.... Uh, yeah. The pizza was really great. Crispy crust & really fresh ingredients. Wish there was a Blaze closer to where I live.

Essentially its business model is to get pizza in and around your mouth faster than other restaurants do and for less money. UM, YEAH. I can get behind that. As I'm sure you've read, Blaze is the Subway/Qdoba/Chipotle (you get it) of pizza - endless toppings at no extra charge! First thing you have to do is decide whether you want to build your own (like I said, all of toppings you want at the same price) or choose a preset pizza. Then you let them know what kind of crust you want: regular or gluten free. Then it is all about that sauce: classic red, spicy red, pesto, or white sauce. After that, you go to dairy town! They have so many cheese options like mozzarella, parmesan, feta, gorgonzola, blue cheese, and much more. Blaze even has a vegan cheese option. When your pizza is nice and cheesed up, you load it up with toppings. Everything you want - no judgment. Then all your pretty little face has to do is pay and wait 180 seconds for them to fire it up. Done. Eat. The size of the pizza is perfect. It is big enough where you are definitely full, but small enough where you don't feel obligated to share. Because, ew, I hate sharing my pizza. BONUS: They have New Glarus and MKE Brewing Company beer! Yay for Wisco brews

Personalized pizza in 180 seconds...and it's pretty darn tasty too! Atmosphere-industrial feel with lots of iron and concrete. Definitely not a warm and cozy laid back place to eat-but the chaos and constant flow of people makes it an exciting setting. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking to spend some time conversing or hanging out-it's a revolving door kind of feel, as loitering is met with stares from guests, toe tapping and waiting for a spot. Food-the subway of pizza is how I hear it most of the time-and I'd say that's pretty accurate. A nice variety of toppings, especially cheeses. The veggies always seem fresh, and the speed is super convenient. Only downfall I can find is that the crust tends to be undercooked/watery. Not sure if it is from the sauce or veggies...but if you like your crust crispy-you won't find it here. Overall-if you don't want traditional fast food, but don't have the time for a sit-down, Blaze is a solid option!

Why yes, I'll take all the toppings and have you charge me the exact same price. Someone has managed to make pizza an actual fast food. And it works. They have pretty good toppings choices, but applied fairly judiciously. Drop it in the oven for three minutes and voila! That must be one hot oven. They also are attempting to cater to the food restricted which is a nice touch. While we were there eating, we saw a dozen people come in and get pizzas to go. If I lived closer, I could see me doing this often. It's cheap and quick. There's nothing special about eating in, but they do have boxes if you can't finish your 'za. Was the pizza amazing?? No, it was just pizza. But it was really good for $8 pizza.

This is my new go to pizza place. The inside is nothing special, but its clean and nice. This place is subway of personal pizza. Think crust. Cooked quickly. VEGAN CHEESE!!!! Sauce was good. I got 1/4 spicy 3/4 normal. Lots of veggies. All the toppings you want for the same price. Which is amazing. Paid $22 for 2 vegan pizzas. Great value. Cant wait to go back.

  • Becky S.

Such a great business concept. I agree with Brian- Why didn't I think of this? This is the place to go if you want to create your own pizza. Or if you and your dining partners have completely different tastes in pizza. Everyone can create their own and be happy. Prices are super reasonable. A make your own personal pizza costs $7.45. Someone with a hearty appetite will probably eat the whole thing (6 medium slices) and be satisfied. Others will bring home a couple slices as leftovers. A cheese-only pie costs just $5 and a one topping pizza under $6. When it comes to making your own pizza they have 3 different sauces to pick- classic, spicy, or white. They have a least a half-dozen cheeses to choose from and just as many meats. Plus a ton of veggies and other toppings. If you do choose to a make your own pizza, toppings are unlimited! For people with allergies you can get a gluten free crust. Or you can choose to make a cheese-less pizza. You can also choose from one of their specialty pizzas, such as a BBQ Chicken pizza, where the ingredients are pre-chosen for you. Pizzas are ready in 3 minutes. They'll call your name and you'll go pick up your (hopefully) delicious creation at the counter. This is just a fun, casual, inexpensive, and innovative restaurant.

This isn't five stars because it's a five star restaurant but because I loved it. Think of it like a subway or chipotle setting but for wood fire oven thin crust pizza. 7.95 for any pizza with any toppings you want. I had the gluten free crust and vegan cheese which are each $3 extra, but so good! They even ask if you want the pizza maker to use all new gloves when they make your pizza. I had lots of meats and veggies including fresh garlic and basil. Don't forget to get a drizzle and even arugula at the end when you pickup your pizza (after only $3 min of cooking!). For someone with food intolerances (that aren't super severe since cross contamination could for sure happen here) - it was awesome to have a pizza all wood fire ovened up! If I see one again, I'm heading back!!! Oh and for sure get the blood orange lemonade ... You just really should!

Blaze is the definition of guilty pleasure pizza. I come here to splurge and it takes much resistance to not devour the whole pie in 1 sitting. My fast fired creation is a little different because of the pleasing variety of toppings, and I always appreciate how quick the whole process goes.

Just like Piada and Roti, Blaze takes the Chipotle concept and applies it to pizza. Blaze joins Sabarro and even Chipotle who have jumped into the fast casual pizza segment. Employees are quick & efficient and I like the option of choosing a standard pizza or create your own. I choose the meat eater pizza. The sausage and pepperoni were tasty but Blaze fell short with the overall crust. It was crispy on the edges but not as crisp in the center. It was still a decent pizza however I noticed what could be problems with their local customers. I watched a guy literally point over the glass to the items he wanted. The staff told him not to do that but he continued to do it. The restaurant is a new concept and you have an isolated suburban customer base so it's not going to go smoothly. Blaze appears to be a fast growing chain but they might want to visit Project Pie in San Diego to see how to do this concept well and get it right before going full on national.

I went to blaze at the recommendation of my daughter. As a teenager, she's a resident expert at all things pizza. The staff was pleasant and quick to help me out as a newbie. I had a fantastic pizza. I'm telling you, it was fresh and just the right amount of crispiness. The cheese is unbelievably good. I had some lemonade with my meal. All in all, this was a first rate experience ... fresh, hot, made right there personal size pizza. We will be back.

Super fast, toppings were tasty, lots of cheese choices, crust was crispy. The 5 year old in the group thought the place should be called Yummy Pizza and we should have it for every meal.

I love this place. It's like a chipotle for pizza. You get to build as you go. Who doesn't love that?! And it's FRESH. Like you can taste the freshness. My favorite is the getting 1/2 the red vine and 1/2 Art lover w/spicy red sauce (it's pretty spicy!). The people here are very friendly and the service is quick. Tables are always opening up, so there's never a wait for a seat. It's a great addition to the neighborhood.

Quick and tasty pizza. Win win. I have only been to this establishment twice, but have been delighted both times. The first time I went with the "Build Your Own Pizza" deal for $7.45. Honestly, it was alright. But whatever was lacking I felt was due to the lack of harmony between the ingredients I had chosen. So the second time around, my cousin and I got the "Art Lover" and the "Red Vine". Both were actually quite good. If I was to rate each one, the Red Vine (which is somewhat similar to a traditional margherita) would be a 7/10, with 5/10 being average (middle of the road). The Art Lover would be an 8/10. It's different and delectable. Both pizzas were super thin and had a nice thin pizza crust to them. You have to pick up the parmesan and crushed red pepper (they aren't readily available on each table), but that's not an issue. It just means an extra trip to the soda area. Overall, this is a nice pizza place in Brookfield and I look forward to coming here again when in the area.

Surprisingly good for $8 3-minute pizza. Like many other people have noted, it's totally the Qdoba concept applied to pizza. Thin, crunchy crust (gluten free available), your choice of sauces and any/all toppings you want for $7.50. They do have some "pre configured" specialty choices you can order for the same price but really the fun is picking your own stuff. When you're done they throw it in the oven for 3 minutes and you're good to go. I picked spicy sauce (really liked this - it eliminates the extra step of adding crushed red pepper), sausage, basil, spinach & oregano. My 11" pizza was delivered piping hot from the oven and was pretty tasty for "fast" food. It's certainly not Wells Brothers, Balestreri's or Zaffiros but it took 3 minutes & I paid less than $8. If you want to get fancy, they have ricotta, fresh mozzarella and Gorgonzola as well as artichokes, pesto, arugula, chicken and any, many other choices. If you've got kids, they can get a 1-topping pie for $5.50 or plain cheese for $5. The place is clean and the staffers were nice. Is it life-changing pizza? Nope. Was it better than expected for fast food pizza? Absolutely.

I came here because my husband has been wanting to come here for some time. We were greeted by the employees and asked if we had ever been there. We hadn't so they explained what to do. We went with the created your own pizza & it was nice to be able to pick what toppings I wanted on my pizza. The pizza was cooked fairly quickly and we got our food soon after. My only complaint is that the middle of the pizza wasn't as crispy as I would like. But I guess that's what you get for pizza that is cooked for 90 seconds or so.

Never been disappointed here. Get it just how you like it and always consistent. In and out atmosphere with generic seating. Nice for a quick meal.

First time visiting Blaze Pizza. First off it's like a pizza version of subway sandwiches that comes along with an amplified crowd. The food was good service was pretty quick. Employees were great. In the mood for the non traditional fast food chain of pizzas this place should definitely should be on your list of places to come. There are other places to visit as well around the area. I still prefer Marty's pizza for the more authentic pizza experience.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: What? I can't hear you over the 1,000 different ear drum popping sounds that echo and assault you here. It's way too loud in here. The menu is a bit hard to read and there are a lot of employees also asking you questions. It's chaos. Metal chairs being pulled out across the cement floor, crying kids. EXPERIENCE: My wife and I went through a tiny queue and were greeted by the first pizza elf who was the "dough" guy. He was personable and explained the process. We both opted for the "Build Your Own". There are SIX different sauce options, you can do half and half. I chose classic red and spicy red. The dough person hands you off to a cheese person and you can choose from several different cheeses including goat and gorgonzola. Then it's down the line to meats. I chose chicken and meatballs. ANY TOPPINGS all one price - pretty great concept. You then work your way down the line, behind the sneeze and spit proof glass, to the vegetable person. The vegetable person needs to cut back on energy drinks. It's hard to hear in here and this girl was way over eager for me to say my next selection. You then get an option of a sprinkle of dried oregano (that looks like the stuff you find in the back of your pantry that's eight years old) and/or sea salt. They then ask for your name so they can scream it across the noisy restaurant when the pizza is "blazed". SIDE NOTE: Customer names is all the rage right now with Fast Casual. Starbucks, Jamba Juice they all want to say your name. The pizza goes into a big oven and is finished by the time you can grab napkins, straws, SHAKY PARM and crushed red pepper shakers (ala Pizza Hut 1995). You go up and pick up your pizza which is on a pizza pan lined with baking parchment with your name on it. S'MORES: That's right, Blaze uses this big ass oven of theirs to make S'mores daily. The downside is they aren't warm and are wrapped in cellophane. OPTIONS: Like most fast casual places now craft bottled beer and plastic bottle wine are alcohol options. There were also pre-made packaged salads in the same beverage case. TASTED: If you don't like the "Build Your Own" pizza you just created it's your own fault. They are skimpy with the toppings and they are cut really small (I assume to cook fast.) The pizza was cut into six individual slices. I didn't like that the forks were plastic. How about some real metal utensils because plastic forks and knives tend to break when cutting hard pizza crust. I LOVED THE SPICY SAUCE. My mix of chicken, meatballs, spinach, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, mozzarella and goat cheese was stellar. POST: Like others have noted, Blaze won't hang with the established "real" pizza joints but it's a solid option for fast food pizza. It's entirely too loud in here but take out isn't a viable option because I live too far away and the product would be cold. GREAT CONCEPT - Chipotle, Subway "your-way-assembley-line" really genius. Dinner for two adults less than a twenty spot. Blaze uses packaging made in the USA, and is recyclable, compostable when practical - good for you Blaze! CHANCE OF RETURN: 8/10 with ear plugs

Hidden jem in Milwaukee! We were around for shopping n found this place by accident. Def worth trying ... U can build ur own pizza with unlimited toppings. And they have a good selection of toppings also! We also got the red vine with mushrooms...also worth tasting. The pizzas are kinda small.. 6 slices. But perfect for group n everyone can get their own choice.

If I keep this review as fast as Blaze does their pizza firing, I'll have to use bullet points. Here's some things I really liked about it: - Quick! Even with a line, it only takes a couple minutes to get a hot pizza. - Friendly! The staff definitely goes out of their way to be kind and courteous... It's overly obvious at times, but still appreciated. - Cheap! For a few bucks, you can fill your tummy with a few slices left to take home - Fresh! Their menu is a little smaller and a bit limited, but this means all very fresh ingredients and only yummy flavors. - Clean! You could eat off the floor if you wanted to. Very neat and tidy. Blaze isn't an artisan brick oven, but it's not trying to be. If you enjoy eating thin crust pizzas made for you in the time it takes to make a sandwich at home, this place is definitely worth a try.

I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for, and my girlfriend mentioned pizza (specifically Blaze Pizza). My mom had received a recommendation from a coworker about how delicious the pizza was. I said why not. It was only a five minute drive and the place was loaded (figures... It was 6 oclock). The staff was very friendly and each one greeted us. We were obviously newbies oogling the entire place. I felt like royalty; every worker knew my name because they write it down. I built my own pizza (THE BEST WAY TO GO) and my girlfriend ordered the Red Vine Pizza (still very delicious). While I only had a couple complaints, I couldnt subtract from the 5 stars. One of the assembly workers did not spread the sauce as well as she should have and they made note of it in front of us AND DID NOT FIX IT. However disappointing that was we should have mentioned so. It was also annoying to find a seat at this time, and we had to wait a long time to get a table (make sure you go there when it ISNT busy). As the worker said, "Were like a subway... But with pizza". What more could you ask for? Had I gotten my table right away I would be eating a fresh yummy pizza with 5 minutes! The ingredients were fresh and amazing and the spicy sauce is a must. Always go with the 'create your own pizza' option though as you can always make a specialty pizza and add whatever else you want for the same price. Its a nice size pizza for 7ish bucks that cant be beat. Hopefully you try out this za soon! Its the pizza joint in Brookfield that Ive always wanted. Ill be back on March 14 for 3.14$ pizzas! :)

This is one of my new favorite places. It reminds me of a subway for pizza because its all about the toppings.

Great new place in Brookfield! Individual pizzas with unlimited toppings! This place has Napoleon style pizzas for very cheap, especially since you can choose as many toppings as you desire. Only 7.95 to go unlimited, or you can go with 1 topping for even less. The pizzas are a generous size for 1 person. I was very full nearing the end of my pizza and I tend to eat more than the average person. Great lunch or casual dinner option. Oh, and if you're not familiar with this style of pizza, it only takes like 2-3 minutes to cook. There are lots of toppings to choose from too. There's pretty much any common pizza topping you can think of, white and red sauce and many cheeses including mozzerella, ovalini mozzerella, Gorgonzola, goat cheese, and ricotta. Definitely get unlimited toppings and just go at it! They also have beer and wine options. I was happy to find new glarus and MKE brewing present.

I have been here twice and got the BBQ chicken pizza. It was AMAZING! I highly suggest going here. You walk in order your pizza and it is ready in 3 minutes. You barely have enough time to pick a place to sit and they are already calling your name that your pizza is ready. The lemonade is also amazing! Great new pizza experience. Best of all you don't have to share!

This place is totally going to take off with suburban folks. Driving down Bluemound, I saw Pizza on the sign and stopped in expecting to grab a quick slice for an afternoon snack. It was a total Duh moment after I saw that I'd just walked into the Jimmy John's of pizza. Pick a signature 11" pizza or build your own starting at just five bucks. I opted for the spicy red sauce, mozzarella and mushrooms with a dash of oregano on top. It was so hard not to add on other fresh toppings from their sandwich-like assortment. In just a few minutes they handed me a sturdy cardboard box with my pie to-go. Popping the box open in the car, the crust was perfectly crisp but had a little wet look to it. My initial disappointment was quickly dismissed as i took my first bite. The spicy sauce had a great kick to it and it wasn't so runny as to not stay on the crust. They gave me a BOGO coupon so I'll definitely be back if in the area. I had to check their website out once I got home to see what the deal is with this franchise. Apparently Junior Bridgeman of Buck's and Wendy's fame is a part owner. You can order online with a designated pickup time and they've also got an awesome selection of side salads (beet and goat cheese!) too.

Pleasantly surprised by Blaze Pizza. The best way to describe Blaze is the Chipotle of the pizza world. $7.45 for a personal pizza with as many toppings as your heart desires, with no extra charge for certain ingredients! Or you can choose from one of their own ingredients. They have more toppings that you can think of everything from veggies to meats and bbq sauce and even sea salt. I think there are at least 6 different cheeses including a vegan option, so move down the line for endless possibilities. The pizzas cook in an oven in 180 seconds, how that's even possible I'm not sure. They are on the thinner side, so if you're craving deep dish head to Chicago. The manager was incredibly engaged during high volume lunch hour, which is always nice to see and the staff were informative and helpful. Fast create your own pizza at a reasonable price, I'll be back for Blaze.

This is the best quick pizza place around. The concept is brilliant. Imagine if subway reinvented itself in to a nice pizza joint, you'd have blaze pizza. The options for toppings are pretty widespread compared to your typical pizza place. If you're a gluten free person or a vegan this is a must go as well. The food is well prepared and the cost of the pizza is decent for the amount of food you get and the quality of ingredients. The customer service is very good.

Great value for the build your own pizza! It's $7.95 and you can add as many toppings as you please! There were tons of choices of toppings with various cheeses, veggies, and meat. I took advantage and loaded up, so the pizza was quite filling! I was expecting a Neapolitan pizza, but this crust was a lot thinner and crispier than the traditional Neapolitan style. It was still really good, but just not what I was expecting. Pizzas take about 3 minutes to bake, so your food will be ready in no time! If you're also looking for a fresh salad, this isn't the best place for that. I was hoping they'd make it to order, but all the salads are prepackaged. There are however a few different salads to choose from, and we tried the gorgonzola veggie salad. Despite it being prepackaged, it was still pretty tasty. Definitely check this place out if you want a fresh tasting pizza fast!

Really liked this place, a very cool concept that I can see becoming a hit for sure. If you want to imagine what the inside looks like, think a Qdoba, Noodles and Company, etc. Ordering is done at a long counter, assembly-style. Price-wise, it's $5 for a "simple pie" which is just sauce, mozzarella, and 1 topping I believe. For $7.45, you can either get one of their specialty pizzas, or build your own for the same price. I would definitely go that route. About an 11" pie, ordering starts off with a sauce choice (red, spicy red, or white cream), moves on to cheese (had about 8 different kinds), then to meats (once again, about 8 different choices), then veggies (around 15 of these), then a "drizzle" (pesto, olive oil, bbq). Throw it in the oven fire for 3-4 minutes and you got a pizza. Some stand-outs on my personal order were the spicy-red sauce (sooooo good), the fresh chopped garlic, and green olives (love places that offer green!). To round out the rest of my toppings, I stuck to mostly traditional offerings, opting for mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, sausage, and red onions. I would've liked to add an olive oil drizzle, but forgot about it! I am looking forward to building a more "exotic" pizza for myself in the future. As far as I know, the build your own is unlimited toppings, but these pies are the very thin, artisan style crust, so it'd probably be wise not to overload them. Everything was very fresh looking and tasting. Pizza came out piping hot and just enough crispiness, despite being in the oven for only about 3 minutes. Service was friendly and walked me through the ordering process. Dine-in and carryout only, they do offer online ordering, but even with a line, I got my food quickly. All in all a great dining experience, I will definitely be back in the near future, just wish there was one closer to me! Oh, and don't forget to try a blood-orange lemonade! I like the fast fresh format, and for around $7.50 you can put together a pizza with unlimited toppings that's big enough to share. My wife and I each ordered a pie, and we brought more than half of one home. We couldn't stop eating it!!! The rest of the menu is pretty basic. The only change I would suggest would be regarding the salad. I was surprised that they were pre-made. With so many fresh options to choose from, a person should be able to create or add-on to a salad as they go through the line. That is just minor. I think this place is great!

  • Jeff D.

For the price, it's good... Kind of reminded me of what a pizza made by a gifted Home-Ec student would taste like. We did the veggie, bbq chicken, and pepperoni pizzas. All good. Just good. You could get a better pizza from other local shops, but not as fast, and certainly not as good of a deal. I like the concept but i'm not entirely on board. I had an issue with the chicken and that has skewed my review to the lesser end unfortunately.

So I sorta stumbled into this place, but glad I did. I'm not usually a fan of thin crust pizza, but the idea behind the restaurant was so intriguing. They have a lot of gourmet specialty pizzas which I did not expect. I liked that I got to watch it being made and it was done so quickly. The prices are pretty cheap and the staff was so attentive (maybe a bit too much?). I'm not sure if they always have this, but I had a blood orange lemonade. It was super delicious. Sorta weird, but I'd go back just for that! I'm totally going back for sure!

This. Place. Is. The. Bomb! I went here with a friend just to give it a try. We were delightfully surprised. The build your own pizza option make Blaze a really fun casual night. Not to mention being absolutely delicious. This place is cheap too! I'm a college student who appreciates nothing more than tasty food at a good price. Get the blood orange lemonade. It's the best.

One of my new favorite places!!! Great pizza fast cooking time and friendly staff Tips 1) don't let the line for you, it may look super long but it really isn't. The start of the line is very close to the door. 2) root beer lever gets stuck and overflows if you don't watch it. 3) the bacon is very smokey once they cook it, still very good however I don't get the bacon anymore

Yes folks only 1 star, I found the amount of toppings to be minimal even after asking for more. But it was the roughly 8" black hair that was in my pizza that made this a 1 star for me. To be fair it wasn't just the hair, I would never expect 100% from any restaurant, it is the attitude when a problem occurs and the effort to make the guest feel valued. I was given a free pizza card, great that covered what I placed in the garbage, I guess the idea of giving me a reason to come back other than I already paid for it was not an option. And it was the lack of concern when I informed them of the problem. If I could give them negative stars for customer service I would.

As one of the employees put it, "this is the Subway of pizza". Pizza was good (stone fired pizza always has that "something special" flavor) and at a fair price. However the atmosphere was atrocious, I have been in steel mills that were quieter. I was so loud that my 4 year old asked if we would just do carry out from now on, I agreeded with her. The #1 benefit is the have vegan (nondairy / nonsoy) cheese. My wife is allergic and normally has to order pizza without cheese. We will go back, just carry out only from now on.

Great pizza. Right size. Even though it looks like a chain, because it is, the pizza tastes hand crafted, because it is. Try it once and you will come back again.

Things have changed since my last visit and the owner replied to my review. I can say that I go weekly with my family of 5. Great Pizza!! Very good employees.

Loved it! Yumm yumm. Better than I expected. Large pizza with unlimited toppings for $7.45? Two thumbs up! It was tasty and I made mine healthy with lots and lots of vegetables. You can ask for anything extra for your pizza and they will add for you for no extra charge. I went back to this place and it was still as good as the first time I tried. Highly recommend.

My kids love the pizza and I love that they are ready so quickly!!! They even did a fundraiser for my son's Cub Scout pack. :)

Amazing - wood fired, build your own, unlimited quality toppings, very reasonable prices, gluten and vegan friendly, excellent service! I wish we had this in LA. If you like spice, get the spicy sauce.

Pizza with great flavor and texture! I had the Veg Out and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin but very flavorful & enjoyable. The dollops of red sauce perfectly complimented the rest of the pizza. The customer service was great and all of the staff were very friendly. I splurged on the s'more for dessert and it was yummy too! The one thing I'd like to make note of is: this isn't quite the authentic Neapolitan pizza (but it is modeled after this type of pizza). Traditional Neapolitan is soggier in the middle as the olive oil & fresh mozzarella melt & run to the center. But I expect people in Wisconsin will enjoy this similar version much more! Still an absolute 5 stars in my book based on flavor, cleanliness & service! Besides, the restaurant doesn't advertise themselves as serving "authentic Neapolitan pizza." Just an aside FYI in case you come here expecting that!

(3.5) ~ Good overall food & service. This is the "Quiznos" of Pizza, meaning you can create your own pizza, picking the crust, cheese, sauce & toppings and they'll cook it in (4) minutes. Based on experience, I recommend eating there, b/c there's plenty of seating and the pizza will be cold by the time you get home:) MY MENU: DRINKS: * Blood Orange Lemonade = (4) very good CRUST: * Regular = (3.5) good SAUCES: * Classic Sauce = (4) very good * Spicy Sauce = (3) ok...too spicy for me CHEESES: * Ovalini (Real) Mozzarello = (4) very good * Shredded Mozzarello Cheese = (3.5) good TOPPINGS: * Sauteed Onions = (4.5) Very Good! * Crumbled Meatballs = (4) very good * Mushrooms = (3.5) good * Oregano = (3.5) good * Basil = (3.5) good * Roasted Garlic = (3) ok * Smoked Ham = (3) ok DESSERT: * S'mores Pie = (3) ok....My wish would be warm Chocolate Chip Cookies!;) NOTES: My next order will now be Regular Crust; Classic Sauce; Ovalini (Real) Mozzarello Cheese, Sauteed Onions, Crumbled Meatballs, Mushrooms and Oregano. With a Blood Orange Lemonade;) And I'll skip the dessert.

Great place for a quick pizza lunch. At 12:15 I had my pizza in about 7 minutes. I like that you can add whatever toppings you want as you go down the line. Pizza was good. I Like the thin crust. Sauce is a little on the bland side.

I enjoyed the concept behind Blaze! Loved that you can pick and choose what toppings you want on your pizza as it is handcrafted right before your eyes. Another great option is that they have gluten free crusts for those that require that. The pizza I had was the BBQ chicken which was quite delicious. I did notice that the crust had quite a bit of excess flour on it which made be constantly reaching for my water glass. The taste of the pizza was delicious and the overall presentation was good as well. My friend's pizza was burnt around the edges however, the manager told us that they have a hard time not burning the edges on gluten free crusts. The price and portion was just right. At around $8 you can enjoy a pizza that you see prepared right in front of you. I left feeling satisfied but not stuffed to the gills. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The manager was consistently in the dining area asking patrons if they were enjoying everything and if he could assist them in any way.

This place is AWESOME! The pizza is super thin and really flavorful. You can customize the pizza how you want it and it takes less than 2 minutes to bake because of their amazing oven. If I lived closer, I would be a regular customer :) Family friendly and fun.

I am so enthralled that this place brought itself into my life. There was nothing quite like walking into an establishment, ordering up a pizza with 40 different topping options (as many as I wanted), and having a delicious fire baked pizza in front of me in under 5 minutes. It's unreal how refreshing and cool this place is. I'm going to be gaining a lot of weight.

It's like Chipotle.... but for pizza. Let that sink in for a minute. When thinking on why it has taken this long to make a pizza place like this, I kind of end up hating myself. For at least the first 10 minutes you are at Blaze you will not be able to shake the feeling that you should have thought of this, first. Once you get over that, you'll just be happy SOMEONE thought of it, because they make some pretty tasty pizza pies. The idea of Blaze is the same as something like those have-someone-make-your-burrito-in-front-of-you places, or any of the vaguely Asian places that start with a base of rice and let you put whatever else you want on top of it. Here, you start with a thin crust, which is the standard option. I'm actually not clear if there were other crust options there, but I don't think there was. From there, you pick a sauce (standard, spicy and Alfredo/white, I went spicy and that was my favorite part), cheese (there were 5 to 6 to pick from, I went standard mozzarella which looked and tasted very fresh) then you get to meats (the standard, I went chicken, sausage and pepperoni) and you finish it off with whatever veggies you want. Why you'd want to ruin your pizza with veggies is beyond me, but my wife assured me they were fresh and fantastic. If you like that sort of stuff ruining your pizza. Then you have the option to put some "finishers" on like BBQ sauce, garlic or coarse sea salt. From there, they take the pizza and throw it into their oven, which looks a lot like a wood fire oven, but it is not. While wood-fire pizza is great, this isn't a wood-fire pizza place and that's 100% acceptable. The ovens here clearly get hot. My pizza cooked in about 2 to 3 minutes and had an excellent char on the crust (it was a mild char, my pizza was not at all burnt). The pizzas get to you hot and fresh out of the oven sliced into 6 pieces. They are $7 and some change, close to $8 with tax for any of their signature or make your own pizzas. At first I was thinking that was a bit pricey, but came to realize if my wife and I went anywhere that wasn't a terrible chain, we'd be paying $16 easy for a large pizza with the toppings we each wanted, half and half. Put into perspective, Blaze is the perfect price. The pizza is just big enough to fill me up and being able to get what I wanted on it while my wife could do the same was fantastic. I did also try a side Caesar salad which was just kinda "meh". Nothing to get excited about and nothing to slam them over, either. My other favorite item was no doubt the blood orange lemonade. I've kind of fallen in love with blood orange (I mean, it's bad ass, it's a BLOOD orange) and mixing it with lemonade works really, really well. As much as I loved the Pizza here, I can't say it's taking over any of my local favorites (Pizza Shuttle, Marco's and Zaffiro's) but it's light years ahead of any of the national chains and I will not hesitate to go here, probably somewhat often. This should have been my idea, but it wasn't. All those nights sitting at Chipotle and eating a burrito, enjoying my food instead of thinking of new ways to ape the Chipotle model have kept me in the wild and wooly word of insurance, but at least someone was smart enough to do this so I could enjoy what should have been my idea.

Great pizza for about $8.00. How can you go wrong?! Love the fact you can choose from a myriad of toppings & combinations. It is pretty easy to polish off the whole pie! Kudos to fast fired goodness!

I am another believer of this restaurant and so is my wife. We both did the make your own pizza. Mine had pretty much everything on it except for olives and it only resembled a pizza by the roundness of the pizza dough. Several types of cheeses my choice of meats and tons of vegetarian toppings. All the pizzas are stone fired so the crust can get black fast if the pizza cooker is not paying attention. Now onto my wife's pizza. She did a gluten free crust - same size as the regular pizza - she also choose the vegan cheese. The downside she had was that the guy scimped on it. Our feeling is that if you are paying extra for it you should get the same amount. Oh well. Before I get ahead of myself for those that are gluten free ask for a glove change. I honestly don't know which toppings she got on it but it did look good. The taste of the pizza was as good as thin crust can be, both my wife's and mine. Finally to sum this up my wife was begging me to take her back the next day. Need I say more.

Awesome place! The build your own pizza (about equivalent to a medium from most places) with unlimited toppings for $7.45 is a great deal! Very friendly staff behind the counter and the manager was kind and cleared the table for us when she didn't have to. Will be back!

Recommend eating right there in the restaurant to maximize the awesomeness of their crust, which, while still good, is just not the same when you take out or reheat.

I really like this pizza. I think the price is right for the portions and all the ingredients are fresh and you truly can build it your way. The gluten-free crust is also very good if not a little flimsy. The spicy red sauce is awesome! I only wish they would have the pizzas ready (for real ready) when you order ahead. They make the pizzas and then wait for you to arrive before firing them. I get it's only like a 5 minute wait but still.

Very good pizza. .for what it is. Its not neopalitan 100 yr old starter dough pizza. But its quick, fresh, and convenient. The freedom to create your own pizza with however many toppings you want without exponentially increasing the cost is awesome. The spicy sauce was great. It left a nice burning tingle on the lips on the drive home. I love red peppers on a pizza and very few places have them as an option. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. Nice decor and a fair amt of seating though I can see it getting crowded during a lunch rush. Overall will definitely be back and thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Awesome. The service is friendly and helpful. The pizza come out piping hot out of their fired oven. You can make your own pizza but try their linked in. But cooler than that is that they have gluten free crust. I am a big fan. Be prepared to wait in line but it is well worth it.

  • Jesse L.

The pizza was great and is a great substitute for wood fired pizza! Plus it's super fast and you can put all the toppings you want on a Build Your Own pizza for the same price. I highly recommend eating here and watching them make your pizza right in front of you. Bonus: Taylor the pizza maker is really Hot!!

Finally!!! A place that has GF pizza that has taste, texture, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It exhausting trying to go out to eat to eat with food allergies. Salad, salad and more salads are generally the basics on a gluten free menu. I can make my own, thank you! Going out for greens is not a treat... However, a fresh, house made, blazing hot oven GF pizza with loads of vegetables on a thin gluten free crust excites me!! They offer regular pizza dough too for you normal people. lol

I had heard many fine things about Blaze's pizza but never got to first base. I tried to order online but stopped when it demanded my email address. . I thought I would wait until I could call ahead. Got blocked again because they don't take phone orders. Well, too many other fine businesses in their area do. I tried one of them.

We have eaten here three times now and we love the pizza they serve. I like the fact you can get as few or as many toppings as you want and the price is under $10 per pizza. The pizzas are ready quickly and the staff always has a smile! Glad this chain has opened up here in Brookfield

Great pizza that is hot and fast. I have a feeling that this place is going to be the next big thing. Simple, fresh ingredients and a no frills eating environment. The main thing here is pizza. You walk in, decide if you want a signature pizza or build your own. Myself and two others all made our own and i got the spicy sauce, regular mozz, and chicken, jalapenos, spinach, artichoke. So tasty. Three of us were in, ordered, got our drinks and sat down to eat in about 5 minutes. I will definitely be back. Like I said, I think this is going to be the next big thing. Oh, I think I forgot to mention that my pizza was less than $8. Awesome

Never seen such a brilliant idea when it comes to pizza. For one price, you can build your own pizza with the freshest of ingredients. After eating a pizza with Gorgonzola, kalamata olives, roasted garlic, and ham, I went straight to the website to see where the other locations are. I'm in Brookfield for work and this was recommended to me. Can't wait for the one in NC to open!

Some friends brought me, and I came pretty much only because I had a "Free One Topping Pizza" card. The place is set up nice and has a cool atmosphere. I was wonderfully surprised when I saw the prices weren't outrageous. They had gluten free for $3 more! The staff are super nice, and you get your pizza fast. Everybody loved their pizzas when they arrived 2 minutes after we ordered. It seems there's always at least one person in our group to get their pizza slightly burnt, otherwise this place would have 4 stars.

  • Scott K.

My wife and I stopped in Monday night of the opening. The concept is pizza made fast. The closest comparison is like a Jimmy Johns but with pizza. The staff were very friendly, and helpful explaining the process the entire way as the pizza was built. How was the pizza? This is really awesome pizza! You can pick a signature pizza or build your own for $7.45. The build yourself doesn't limit you to only a couple toppings, and I love this concept. We give Blaze a huge thumbs up!! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I were customers of this new pizza place and found the food, staff and environment to be just great! You'll be amazed at how fast you get your customized pizza. Great place for lunch or dinner! Great S'more cookie dessert. Try it warmed up, the flavor reminds you of camping.

Fantastic, fresh, fast pizza!!! I have been searching for good pizza in the Milwaukee area for a couple years and have not been happy, until now! I have been to Blaze more than a handful of times, every visit, the staff has been super-friendly and the pizza is top-notch. Thin crust, individual-sized pizza with nothing but FRESH, quality ingredients. A great variety of toppings, including different sauce option, (my fav is the spicy red!,) and lots of veggies like roasted garlic, artichokes, and all the classics, too. And the blood orange lemonade is awesome!

Personal, or maybe pizza for two's. Custom make it, or order off the menu, it's the same price. Quick service, attentive too, staff seems ready to please. Blood orange lemonade is good to drink.

Great pizza and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and high energy. Pizzas are made to order and quickly baked in a wood fire oven. Try a signature pizza or build your own.

I really, really wanted to love this pizza. I was so looking forward to something better than the usual Milwaukee cracker pizza like the terrible Marty's down the block. I was watching the progress of the store opening for weeks and I went in and ordered as soon as I saw the 'open" sign. I can tell you that the crust is everything I hoped it would be, thin and chewy like a pizza should be and the toppings all seem fresh, the pepperoni was excellent but good pizza comes down to two things the crust and the sauce. Well, the sauce was this pizza's undoing. No character, no distinction, it just seemed like ordinary jar sauce, not much more than pizza hut sauce. I was very disappointed. i'll go back, i'll try the spicy sauce but I was hoping for so much more.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types.
