Exactly what a diner should be: casual, efficient, affordable and tasty! And they have free wi-fi! The menu has a nice selection of items and chorizo seems to be a speciality of theirs. I had an omelette with chorizo, salsa, onions and cheddar cheese that was large and delicious. Side of bacon hit the spot too. The other folks in my party were happy with what they got as well. Service got the job done. Not exactly the friendliest lady waiting on us I'm afraid, although it actually brought us a few laughs. No biggie.

A 50's style dinner. Good food, reasonable prices, good service, what else could you ask for. Worth the ride to Bristol, Wisconsin.

Breakfast is decent. Lunch/Dinner.....your choice of anything frozen and salty. It's quite depressing. How bout they cut down their 150 menu items and concentrate on 10 fresh items. They do have great malts and shakes. If you don't have taste for good food, then you will really like it.

What a great place to eat at. Very busy so plan to wait a bit for a table. Well worth the wait The place is decorated so cute there is plenty of stuff to check out

I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs. I always get my steaks medium rare and eggs overeasy. Both items were cooked wrong. The whites of my eggs were raw and leaked all over my plate. The strangest thing was my steak. It was medium well for the most part, but both ends were completely raw and blue. How does that even happen?

I've been to this establishment a handful of times since I've moved to Bristol, & its usually a hit or miss. Some foods are great, others are not. The food is not always consistent. I had breakfast there today, and my entire meal tasted burnt (granted I am sensitive to burnt food, hate the taste!). I had the full order biscuit and gravy with eggs, bacon, and sausage. The sausage & biscuits were burnt, & the gravy tasted strange as well. The skillets are AMAZING, I recommend them. My main grievance though, is one of the hostesses. She isn't outright rude, but she isn't super friendly either. I can't stand that she walks you to your table, sets the menus down and walks away. Without a word; every time. It is really irritating. The waitresses themselves are very kind though.

Bristol 45 Diner closes at 9pm. I called at 8:30 as we were exiting I94 to ensure the kitchen still served up to closing. We arrived 15 minutes later to find the doors locked. We entered as leaving customers opened the door. The hostess said "sorry we close at 9" I said I know I called you 15 minutes ago at it's not 9. She smiled and said sorry. We drove back to a diner on US50 & I94 and sat down at 9:02. Our check was $50. I guess Diner45 doesn't need any additional business!

Great turkey dinner. Malt was the right thickness, maybe a bit more malt. Skip the onion straws if you want real thin ones.

YUM-MY! My brother took the hubby and I here last month. Not only does it have great decor, but more importantly the food is so good. So we came back this past weekend with my dad. It's a fun, 50's themed diner. It's super easy to get to, just take Rte. 45 up from Antioch and it's only a few minutes into WI. I'm sure they have other things on their menu but we have only gone for breakfast. We plan to go back whenever we can!

so we went back here for dinner and it was way more exspensive than last time..:( I ended up paying almost 8bucks for a mickey mouse pancake..the waitress didnt tell me it was an upcharge for strawberries! the owners response? "well they are fresh strawberries"..whaaaat? there 3 bucks a package right now at sentry, so 2 bucks for strawberries..PULLLEEEEZEEEE....and my chicken burrito was very dry..the soup was fantastic, and my hubby really liked the chicken fried steak..i tasted it..and yes it was great..never trust a white guy to make you a great burrito..lol..makes u miss a talented mexican cook who really knows how to hook it up! The soda is over 2 bucks too..i wasnt happy, and my kid didnt even eat the strawberries because they were bitter..ugh! All in all the presentation was great, soup yummy, and I know their bristol 45 wrap is the bomb! Otherwise, go to a family diner closer to home, it wuld save you the gas and the mexican food would be better...Ba Humbug

This place is great. Have the Bristol Bomb burger - delicious - but come hungry. Fresh hand packed beef. Real mashed potatoes, chunks of skin in them. Next time I go I'm trying the Reuben. For Wisconsin road food this place is top notch. Reminds me of another place we used to go a lot - the old Norm's Speedway on 16 in Portage. Only much faster service. Very similar burger. Waitresses are really friendly and attentive. Big enough to get a table usually, but not too big that they can't handle it.

A cute 50's themed diner, very clean. What stood out for me was the fast service, reasonably good food, and friendly waitstaff. They serve breakfast all day, and the prices are better than IHOP or Dennys. When I was there on a Sunday mid-afternoon, it was half full of people, with a mix of both IL and WI licence plates, We ordered bugers and fries - lots of food and quite good! We also ordered the "onion haystack" as an appetizer - huge amount of batter-dipped fried onions, but not outstanding, so give them a pass. I will go back sometime for breakfast, and will also go for their burgers if I am in the area when hungry.

The owners did a great job on remodeling this location...it looks like an old diner except everything is new. Now if they only would have spent some money on developing a unique and special tasting menu. The menu is huge and quite confused...there is nothing that stands out here. It would be best if they scaled back and focused on some good food and not try and serve everything. We have tried this place a few times and I can not do it ever again. Also, last time we were there they treated my child rudely...so I would also add that this retaurant is not kid friendly! Save your money and cook at home!!!

Not bad, not good, just fine. Mickey Mouse pancakes were a little sad, but fine for my 1 year old. Eggs needed salt and pepper. Staff was friendly.

Meals are always good . Especially the potato skins , skirt steak, chopped steak and Alaskan waffles . Service can be a bit spotty . Over all good place to eat!

My favorite breakfast spot in Kenosha county. Lunch and dinner are a little disappointing. If they didn't have nuts on the menu I would eat here more often.

Went for lunch and I heard this place was good awww nope food over cooked and over priced

Brought our breakfast club here recommended by a friend. I was disappointed. I ordered a special omelette which came flat and overcooked. They had cheap, tinny, silverware and pancakes so rubbery I had to cut with a knife. coffee was eh. Won't go back.

Great selection on the menu. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered the turkey dinner and it was very good. Nice portions and great shakes. It was a good choice for dinner.

A great little diner to eat at. I love that the serve breakfast all day so if you get a craving at 4pm you can fulfill it. They have a huge menu so even if you don't want breakfast food you'll find something you'll love. Food is good, price point is also good. If you don't want to eat in, you can order from their take out menu. Definitely recommend this diner for a quick breakfast or lunch

Used to love this place back when they first opened; over the years the portions have gotten smaller and the prices, higher. Don't go here very often anymore but visited last night as it was convenient, service was good. Didn't enjoy the clam chowder, the soup tasted like a simple cream-of-fill-in-the-blank base that must be the same for all of their soups because at times I couldn't tell if I was eating clam chowder or cream of chicken. The cheeseburger and BLT were good, my family said.

First time coming here! Nothing crazy to expect here, typical diner setting. I enjoyed the oldies decor though.. Very fun. My 1 year old was also entertained. I must say though.. WOW! The menu is huuuugeee. Took me a minute to decide but I decided on the beef stir fry. It came with soup/salad and I chose the soup. Both was very good! I've gotten stir fry from places similar to this and it's always 'okay' but this was good here. The beef wasn't fatty or chewy. Vegetables were nice and crunchy! The soup was chicken noodle which was good but rather small. The waitress was okay. Like.. Typical waitress who doesn't really seem to try to be friendly or anything. Just want to get the shift over with? I could be wrong but it's alright we all have those days. Other than that whenever I'm in town again I'd like to come back and check out the huuugeee menu again!

Amazing place to go. I always order breakfast, since a good omelet is hard to find. Our waitress talked me into pancakes instead of toast, bless that woman! Those were fantastic pancakes! Absolutely hands down the best place around. Forget Ihop people!!

Great diner food. Super friendly owners that are always around. Huge menu. Been many times and have had good meals. Not hipster, just tastier than most. I'll often get meals to go for my family and they pack them very well.

The diner was a nice place, with a 50s style to it. This struck me as a faux style as opposed to a classic hold over. The good The staff was fast Freindly, attractive and attentive The food was reasonablely priced and pretty good. The place is local so much better than most options around. The bad The biscuits and gravy were passable but premade. My order was out in less than 5 min. Call me old fashioned but cooked to order breakfast is what 5 star places are. The Decore was almost the of a Friday of the 50s. A bunch of ranom crap of the walls that has nothing to do with the place. Also there was a cutout of a whilitzor juke box on the wall that really rubbed me the wrong way. All in all I would stop by again.

We decided to stop here after picking strawberries nearby, and really enjoyed our visit. The menu is huge, but each of the three items we ordered was good. My wife loved her Santa Fe Chicken burger, and i would wholeheartedly recommend the guacamole burger I had. Usually large menus are a bad sign, but it didn't seem to be the case here. Our waitress was extremely nice, and very attentive, in spite of having several tables to take care of. Any complaints that I would have would all be so minor they are hardly worth mentioning.

I love this old diner! The memorabilia on the walls is pretty cool. The food is always fast and hot. Portions are large and I've been going every weekend for the last couple of months... Always greeted by the hostess at the front desk with a great smile...

Frozen and pre-made foods, not fresh at all. If you like that kind of thing then this would be a great place, if not you should probably NOT stop here. One positive though....shakes are great.

We drive here to get Breakfast. There are places around us but nothing compares to this breakfast. Very reasonable. I highly recommend the pancakes (I am not usually a pancake fan) but there is something in it that makes them extra tasty. Lots of food and good prices. We keep coming back. Have been there for dinner, I don't really recommend it it was just okay.

Super cute! Stopped for dinner while passing through town, noticed this parking lot was packed - figured it had to be good, and it was! Fantastically friendly and proficient waitstaff. Totally decent dinner fare. Cute, brand-new decor.

Place was ok with me. I stopped in with Terry N-M, James M, and Brianna W on a Sunday afternoon for something preferably greasy (thanks to a night of pounding Lite for Jean M's "Salem Reception"). I ordered the omelete and found it pretty run of the mill. Good sized portions, hashbrows, and toast for a fair price (~$6). Orange juice tasted like it was out of a machine (like McDonalds) versus freshly squeezed which is what I expect out of a 4 to 5 star diner. Wasnt too packed at what I expect to be around its peak time (11 o'clock church getting out and the Salem bible-thumpers going to brunch). Waitstaff I found to be ok (but dont ask James M for his opinion! Or for him to order the "Barbeque Burger" for you!). I'd want to try something new before I went back to this 50's themed diner (unless their staffed started serving on roller skates).

Wife and I have been going there for over a year now and we drive about 20 miles to get there. Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner. Always great food, very friendly service and very reasonable prices. We have take several of our friends and all have said they will be coming back themselves. As for not being kid friendly...NOT SO. I have take all of my grand kids there and their staff treat them like royalty.

Went there with my Harley boyz. Place was crowded. Food was very good, prices in line. All in all a neat little diner. My boyz and I will return!
