The Friday night fish fry is excellent. Lightly breaded cod tastes like it has been baked, not fried.

Not good. Tough chicken, watery asparagus and the same for the Hollidaise sauce...yuck. The steaks looked good. Maybe they expect you to drink more in the bar before being seated.

Went there for dinner with some friends from out of town the other day. First off, I noticed the smell when we walked in. It was a mix between old and cleaning supplies. The walls were decorated in pictures of airplanes and it screams classic supper club. After about 5 minutes of waiting we were seated. The waitress greeted us right away and took our drink orders. She came back a few minutes later and took our dinners. One thing to point out is that they will tell you the salad bar comes with an entree. There is no salad bar, it's just a side salad. I ordered the lasagna for $16 and it was good. The portion was about 3 times what I could finish on my own, The husband ordered the fried fish fry...it's Friday, so he felt obligated. For $11 it was over priced for the amount of food (2 small pieces) and the quality. One friend ordered the fish fry, but baked. She only finished one of the grilled pieces because it was so dry. The other friend ordered the Ribs for $20 and received two half slabs. He said they were good and finished a slab and a half....his GF helped him a little since she didn't want to finish her grilled fish. The saving grace for the evening was the Grasshopper ice cream drink. For $8 we received a mountain of mint ice cream that we all shared and still had some left over. It was delicious and not what I expected when we said grasshopper. But, it was good. Honestly, I don't know if we will go back, but it was an ok experience.

Very happy with the food and service. Old fashioned supper club. The food quality and value were good and the service was attentive. We'll be back.

My brother goes to college at Beloit and we went here twice on Easter weekend. We went here for Dinner and for Easter brunch. On Saturday night I had the prime rib meal. It was very good and cooked to perfection. On Easter I had the roast turkey meal, which was a little dry for my liking. Both meals included a full salad bar. My big complaint about this place is that it does not have beer on tap but has a full liquor bar. I ask the hostess and she said we are a fine dinning establishment. I replied life's too short for cheap beer.
