Great Wisconsin Supper Club. The bartender is nice if you talk to her and connect. Try a Old Fashioned. The hostess is the best and runs the place with precision. The whole property is well done and clean. There is outside dining if you like. The service is good and the food is good. Please note the limited hours and days open so as to not be disappointed.
I've eaten at Indianhead many times & have never been disappointed. Best restaurant in 100 miles hands down!
This place is lots better than it has to be. Chicken Piccatta is equal to a good old school Italian resto; good fish and steaks, solid drinks. I'm always impressed with the vegetables. Good choices cooked well. This place has had the good fortune to avoid remodeling away the classic 1940s Wisconsin supper club vibe.
My walleye sandwich was very good, actually the menu is pretty darn good for bar food. But it is bar food! Waiter was nice, outdoor seating was plentiful and fun. The only reason I can't go 5 stars is because the smell of smoke drifting into my food is gross. Good gracious Wisconsin, join the land of the living and BAN SMOKING. Who knew people still wanted to eat and smoke. No Don Draper sightings.
This is a very good place and the Otter Burger is good, but the other reviews here on Yelp over state it. It's a fine atmosphere outside and the servers are great, but saying this the best burger you've ever had? I don't see that. If you are in the area and need a great little spot to hang and chat, this place is just fine.
I love this place, while the dining area is too large for the kitchen and wait time to get you meal and appetizers are quite long the food is always worth the wait. I really enjoy sitting on the deck over looking the lake on a Sunday morning with my family or any night after work. The staff is great, always accommodating and the price is on par with the competition locally despite being a far better menu. I would rate it as a can't miss stop if your just passing thru!
It's been a while since I've been there but my husband brought me there on my birthday for dinner. We expected great food, a view, and a romantic atmosphere-boy were we dissapointed! They were blasting this horrible pop music and did nothing about it even when I complained to my server. I think the idiots that were running the place were going more for a young bar crowd that will keep ordering drinks if the music is blasting! This felt more like a sports bar than a fine dining establishment. The food was mediocre, at best. I had a pasta dish and my husband had a steak, not bad but nothing to make us drive 1 1/2 hours to celebrate my birthday. Never again!!!
We love the new paradise! We had the dinner party following my son's baptism at Paradise Landing. We were given a very nice private room. The building is beautiful - helpful staff- and the food is delicious .Sunday brunch is wonderful. The summer time view from the porch looking out onto Balsam Lake is gorgeous.
My wife and I went to Pparadise landing at the recommendation of friends. We're usually a wee bit skeptical of a restaurant that has a wide and varied menu because it seems that restaurants for themselves way to them. Paradise landing has such a menu but they do a great job of serving ever pairing food. I ordered the quote sizzling steak close quote and it was truly a sizzling with steam rising from the onions mushrooms etc on the hot skillet platter. My wife had the salmon salad. And I had to top things off with a slice of key lime pie although it was very good. Paragraph unfortunately the rain precluded our ability to dine out on the deck overlooking the lake but we had the next best location: a window table overlooking the lake. Next time we'll try to coordinate our rival better with weather but there will definitely be a next time. This is one of the true destination Jones in this area of Wisconsin!
