We used to eat here all the time. Back in the day this place was fantastic. We went a couple weeks ago for my husbands Christmas party. First off cocktail..I had an old fashion which are homemade. Not that stuff out of the plastic jar which is gross. Drinks were strong and good. The bartenders were prompt and attentive. This place has a smaller bar and really rustic inside, but nice and cozy. Dont let the outside of the building confuse you. Dinner: We had veggies and warm buns on the dinner table which was good. The rolls were yummy. We had a limited menu because of the group size and I got the rib eye. It was cooked to order and was ok. It seemed a little on the dry side for a rib eye. I got a baked potato with it and I have worked in restaurants years ago and the potato tasted like it was on the oven for hours. And I will add that it was only around 6:30 so they had a few hours yet for dinner service. My husband got the prime rib and ordered as rare as we could get it. I had a bite of it and it was pretty much well done and chewy. The servers were good and attentive and our group was approx 25 people. I heard this place is for sale which can maybe explain the mediocre food. This was not the case a few years ago. This was a great WI supper club. I will not rule this place out and will definitely try this place again. Hopefully a new owner will come in and revamp the food because I love the atmosphere and the drinks and really want to love the food again like we used too. We came about a year ago for an Easter brunch buffet and wanted to add that it was delicious that time.
