Another "hidden gem" you need to try! Tucked into an industrial park in Woodenville, this place is the bomb!

I'm sorry to see a couple of bad reviews spoiling the reputation of this great nanobrewery. Certainly this place isn't redhook with 25 taps and open all hours of the day, but it isn't meant to be either. This is a great place to taste some of their beers and have a laid back time with great music. The staff is friendly, the place is comfortable, and the beer is good! I'd recommend the IBA, but the others are good as well. Come here before it gets too crowded!

This small place was awesome. Great beers and they even gave us a tour of their facility. You can play all the instruments on the wall which was super fun. Ill be back.

For some reason, I was under the impression that Twelve Bar Brews was a "collective" tap. I had no idea that they were a brewery and served their own beers!!!! My husband and I decided to visit on a sunny Saturday. Fortunately for us, we were the only people in the brewery... which means, ultimate attention from the beer steward! We sat at the counter to have one on one attention from the gal that was working there (which was the main brewers girl friend!) She took the time to educate us on the different beers, and even took us on a tour of the brewing chambers. We learned that they lease out kegs for brewing to local breweries that don't have the holding power! (Good for us to know, since my husband is in the Home Brewing business!) I can confidently say, every beer that they had on tap were great! There were no "rotten eggs" in the bunch! Their "Turnaround Red" was my favorite! I am an UNTAPPD whore, and I will say I did not rate any of their beers below a 3.5. Most of them were at least a 4! Great beers for sure, definitely check them out!!!!!

Some of the greatest brew I've had in the northwest! Truly impressed with the beer made by Kirk. A soulful, inspired musician that has an amazing passion for quality beer. Not stopping by would be a mistake. If you're enjoying Woodinville's finest, come here!!

This brewery is a hidden gem ! Small, cozy seating area, great service at the bar and beer is fantastic! They offer growler's to go as well as bottled beer. next time you are out and about drinking beer , it is a wonderful place to stop by

Twelve Bar Brews takes their name from twelve bar blues, and much of the operation is musically themed. The tap handles look like tiny guitar necks. The brewer here knows what he's doing and produces some pretty credible beers. Unfortunately, the brewery is strategically located the place where it's nearly impossible to find it. When you do find Twelve Bar you'll discover a brewery. They do have a little tasting room our front, and you can buy a beer or a sampler or a growler (my recommendation) but this isn't really a place to kick back and enjoy a beer. If you do buy a growler of beer, bring your own growler. I think I got charged $10 just for the glassware (which is kinda whack) plus $11 to fill it with an oaked imperial porter. You'll pay less for a less magnificent beer, and I'm OK with paying a fair price for a good, big beer.

I really wanted to like this beer. I know the story of how the brewer, Kirk was inspired to brew his own beer and I very much wanted to see him succeed in brewing a great IPA. I stopped in shortly after they opened the doors to the tap room in a strip mall and thought at the time the beer needed work- but that is how it goes. Brewers refine their craft then go on to make better and better beers. So when I saw the Wicked Riff IPA at my local grocery, I snatched it up and ran it home to share with my sweetie. I wanted to see how far Kirk had come from when I knew him from the Latona days... Really disappointed in this beer. No body, so no balance for the hops, and way too overcarbonated in the bottle- c'mon, that is basic manufacturing control... My wife thought it tasted like a soda it was so fizzy. The worst IPA I have ever had- without a doubt. I hope they figure this out, cuz I am truly rooting for this brewery, but make it quick.

Finally got the chance to try Twelve Bars Brewing out today. Comfy location just past McClendons Hardware. I hopped myself right up to the bar and ordered a taste of each item on tap. There was the Wicked Riff IPA, Turnaround Red and Pentatonic Pale. I very much enjoyed all three, the pale was my fav, which surprised me because I'm not a huge pale fan.The IPA was well balanced and the Red had a delicious flavor. I just missed trying a seasonal red, they had just ran out, drats for me but its an excuse to come back, as if I needed one! The brewer was very friendly, and knowledgable and able to provide interesting conversation! I'll be back soon, stop by if you haven't yet!

There is truly only one way to describe this place: fresh. Drinking a fresh beer is like trying to describe steak to someone who's only ever eaten at McDonald's. It just tastes right. The owners have a great 'little' operation tucked away in a tiny space. But they have made some very good use of that space! If you are lucky enough to peer into the backroom, you'll see what I mean. I was informed that they obtained some of their more expensive brewing equipment from a brewery in Maine and drove it cross country themselves. I call that dedication to the craft. It's a tiny little tasting room, but it's very intimate and you get to enjoy your beer with the wonderful people who brew it on site. I honestly cannot imagine a better time to be spent than that. Well done, probably one of the best beers I've ever drank.

Only 3 beers on tap... and only 5 taps total. Not very pleased.

Loved this place. This was the third stop in my husbands birthday run. This place was different than the other places we had been to. The staff was calm and friendly. The crowd is definitely older. I love that this place was themed. Liked the beer. Before we left we got a tour of the brewery. THAT was cool. The woman who helped us was very educated on the process and taught us a lot. The brewery is a LOT bigger than it looks and I love that they help local farms! My only wish is that there was a bit more seating.

Their door, website, and phone line all said they were open at 2pm on Sunday 5/26/2013, but they were not. I had been wanting to try this place for a few months, and often find myself at McLendons, but just not during their open hours. Today the stars aligned and I drove 20 minutes to their location....only to find that they were not open. This was frustrating given that I had checked their site and phone line to ensure they were open. I'd still like to try their beer, but I wont be making any special effort in the future. I ended up going to The Collective just down the road to get my 2 growlers filled. I highly recommend checking them out. Friendly staff and an awesome selection.

These guys are cool! Located in the more eastern industrial side of Woodinville WA, the Twelve Bars Tasting room is located on-site with the brewery itself and offers an array of 3-5 beers on tap average, that can easily contend with their local juggernaut neighbor Red Hook Brewery in terms of boastfulness, flavor and intensity. I tried all of their beers on tap and was blissfully taken to a world of beer intensity. Buyer Beware: These beers are HOP HEAVY and Bold! For fans like myself, this is a good thing. Their taproom is discrete and small, yet it provides some well-developed brews with a badass mentality and plenty of character. With a few more tweaks and some additions to their Taproom, Twelve Bars will be a perfect 5!
