Wow. Who knew that would could find such good authentic Thai food this far north? If you want the really good traditional food turn the menu to the "Chef's Special" section. The Khao Soi and the Thai Sausage did not disappoint! The Khao Soi was creamy and savory, the noodles were cooked perfectly. The sausage was amazing. Crumbly and crisp on the outside. The lunch time service was fine for us. It wasn't busy and they were just attentive enough. If you live north of King county you need to stop in here!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. We ordered food for delivery a few weeks ago. Not a complicated order, two entrees and an appetizer. When the food came it was all wrong. Literally both entrees were incorrect and we didn't even get the appetizer. After arguing with three different people on the phone who all told us WE were wrong and that WE didn't know what we were talking about, someone finally told us they would give us 50% off an item the next time we ordered. Wouldn't even just comp us the entree or give us a free item next time. We asked them to make sure a note was left on our account so that we would be able to redeem our discounted meal. They assured us a note was made. We just called in to order food again (big mistake) and SHOCKER, no note. Absolutely no recollection of any of this. They accused us of trying to steal a free meal and said that anyone could "claim" to have had this happen. Good system you've got there, we will never be going back. I'm literally in disbelief this happened, I am speechless at how rudely I was just treated.

What makes this place awesome? - They provide eat-in, carryout AND delivery services! - GREAT prices! - Convenient location. - Short wait time between ordering and eating. - Staff is very conscientious of customers' food allergies. Most importantly, their operating hours are during times that people might actually want to eat, unlike it's only local competitor. All-in-all I would highly recommend this place!

We love their food and they delivery surprisingly fast. Highly recommended for a variety of their dishes. The beef is consistently high quality (which is hard to find) and the chicken is excellent.

This is as good as it gets in Woodinville. I was told by a friend whose wife is from Thailand that the food was not authentic. Knowing that, it is still good for Woodinville. Great service first of all. I miss my normal waitress. She was so friendly and knew me and my posse well. She knew what we wanted the moment we walked in. The new guy is super nice, helpful, and welcoming. It is always great seeing this crew. They all welcome you in and wish you adieu when you leave. With the food, so good even though it is not authentic. Very tasty and flavorful. Their duck curry is amazing. Spicy and tender pieces of duck meat. So surprised at the amount of meat they gave. Cannot go wrong with their lunch specials. Such a steal and tasty options. I usually go with tom yum noodle soup, tom kha soup, pad see ew, country style pad thai, and pad ka prow. Get the six stars. They can go up to ten. Five was never spicy enough for me. Six is perfect.

The food was amazing! Customer service was great too! I work down the street so I called and ordered it. They gave me a time and I was about yen minutes early and they already had it ready! So yummy and they even customized my coworkers meal to be vegetarian!

Another great meal, this time Pad Kee Mao and Royal fried rice. I ordered it three stars and the spice level was perfect.

Okay... After trying several different Thai restaurants in/around the area, we have now found our go-to favorite. *Delicious Tom Kha (a little heavy on fish sauce but excellent nonetheless) *Spring rolls are exactly what you'd expect: hot, fresh, flavorful *Green curry: perfectly mild & sweet with the coconut milk *Spicy Eggplant: lovely and savory with plenty of thai basil *Garlic with broccoli: the table's favorite! Wowsa flavor explosion with perfectly cooked veggies and crispy garlic topping Pair the excellent food with a quiet atmosphere and phenomenally friendly service...we're fans. And excited about coming back to try even more. Thank you, Irene!

Lunch here is a steal! Really cheap meals that are served quickly and taste great. I stick with the pad thai which isn't my favorite pad thai dish when compared to other restaurants, but it hits the spot! The spring rolls with peanut sauce are delish, too! Staff here is on top of their game.

Ordered delivery tonight around 5:20 and it came before six! Not only that the delivery guy was extremely nice and made the experience easy and quick. I ordered the thai iced tea, fresh rolls, crab dumplings, and beef pad thai. All were amazing and I really enjoyed the pad thai, and I've been looking for a great pad thai since I moved from Mill Creek and this is it. I would recommend this place to anyone that is craving thai food and doesn't wanna drive because the service is fast and the food is delicious!

  • Mariel Z.

Best Thai food I have found in this area. The pad Thai is very authentic and flavorful. The "spicy stars" are not too intense, so if you like spicy ask for a 4 or 5. Yum!!

Really good Thai food and nice service. It's tucked away in a tiny strip mall in Woodinville.

  • Sam C.

Friendly service. Mediocre food. I had the Thai food rice. It was too sweet and oily for my taste.

    (3)
  • Karin W.

First time going to this restaurant tonight. The food was very good, just as good as Racha Thai down the street. Veggies were fresh and cooked to perfection. The only improvement I could see was the service, which wasn't very good. But if you don't mind slow service that's not too friendly, then this place is worth a try.

  • Christine C.

Business owner unprofessional and unwilling to give me food which I paid for. Have screen shots of bank account. That said owner said customer is NOT always right. Really? When did that change.

  • Rachel K.

I like this place. That's all. The curry is actually quite good, very flavorful. However, my favorite thai dish is usually phad se-ew and theirs is sub par. The broccoli is in huge chunks and not cooked enough, and the noodles have absolutely no flavor. I usually end up mixing it with my curry to add more flavor. I also found a hair in my noodles last time (I looked past this and gave them another try), and in this order I found a somewhat large chunk of egg shell. I probably won't be going back

  • Cathy D.

My family and I love their food! The service is always great and they are quick! I always tell people to try them. Plus they have a puch card! Awesome. The only thing I can complain about is that their portions have gotten smaller, that is disappointing. I used to be able to get 2 full meals out of an order, but now I might get one and a half!

  • Christina M.

Delicious, consistent, fast food and friendly staff. This continues to be a favorite local restaurant for Thai food. We've tried chicken fried rice, pad thai, yellow curry and a variety of their appetizers. I also love the ambience of the restaurant- great place for date night, or a family dinner out with the kids.

  • Alex L.

very consistent on their good tasty food. atmosphere is pretty relax and clean, the staff is very courteous and attentive. We use them a lot for take-out unfortunately they changed their take-out "mile" policy and now they charge for anything past 4 miles, which our home is 4mi. bummer, but still get's 5 stars, though i wish they go back to the old free delivery for under 4 mi. if you are looking for tasty thai this is your place!

    (5)
  • Lenny L.

On time delivery, I'm in residence inn, bothell and they get here on time. Also, good food, will order from here again

  • Jaclynn T.

Food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The waiter asked us what kind of rice we wanted with our dinner only to find out its separately charged from the meal. Menu didn't not state rice was NOT included. Won't be going back.

Always on the lookout for a tasty thai place. This place hits the mark! Located in a obscure little strip mall, Irene's should not be missed. Always go pretty conservative the first time i go to a new thai place. Tasty phad thai & basil fried rice picked up for take out. I like it pretty spicy, went with 4 stars probably could have done 5. However they offer little take out containers of pepper flakes & sirracha, so was able to ramp it up a bit when I got home. Flavors were delish. My server was Adam, nice young man on his 5th day. And although he was new still, was able to accurately describe the level of spiciness and offer his favorite dish. He told me accurately when my meal would be ready & checked back with a 5 minute warning. I appreciate that when you are waiting for take out. Irene's will be on my thai list for Woodinville. YUM

  • Jordan H.

Solid thai food. The Crab Rangoon was delicious! The paper they use to wrap them in was thin and perfectly crispy. My pad see ew was the perfect spice, but a little mushy. My partner's Mongolian Beef was an interesting take on the original, with crunchy noodles that softened in the sauce. All said and done, we will be back!

There are 4 Thai places in woodinville downtown that I know of and I've tried them all. And overall I've tried close to 100 Thai restaurants in the western north continental America. And hands down Irene Thai is up there. How you ask? Well, mostly because they have just the right balance of flavor and texture for all their foods. Not overwhelming, so if you like super saturated flavors don't come here. And not bland. Decent prices and they deliver too although delivery takes a very long time. For example their noodles in pad kee mao are nice and soft without falling apart and watery, nor stuck together in giant lumps like some of the other Thai places. The veggies they put in the standalone dishes also are plenty and add to, instead of detract, from the dish's flavors. The curries are nice and flavorful as expected but nothing special. Anyway if you're looking for a good Thai place in woodinville this is as good as it gets. I actively seek out Thai restaurants wherever I travel for work and I can say with some authority that this is one of the better ones in the entire western US and Canadian continent. Good job Irene Thai!

4-4.5 stars when it comes to food quality.. so that's to say it's pretty dang good. The Panang curry is thick, packed with flavor, and the beef inside is tender and tasty.. not fatty, not tendon filled, but pretty spot on. The stir frys are well flavored, pretty good portions, and ingredients seem fresh and good quality. Factor in the price though, at sub $9 per dish for dinner, and it's 5 star for me. I just discovered this even though it's 5 mins from my house..

Still the best Thai food in the area, hands down. I've been ordering delivery from them for a couple years now and pop in to eat in the restaurant every now and then as well and I've never once had a bad meal. Delivery is surprisingly fast, I just wish they added an online order option or kept customer names/address in a computer so that we didn't have to repeat that information each time. It would make phone orders a lot more efficient. Sure, service in the restaurant can be a tad slow at times but the food is consistently authentic and delicious. I like the mom and pop feel of the restaurant, the staff are always friendly and nice - it feels like a little slice of Thailand's famous hospitality and smiles. Service was on-par with what you'd find in Bangkok. The spicy levels veer towards the strong side, so I'd recommend ordering down a star if you can't handle spice. I love, love, love spicy food and always max out my order but a couple times I was close to not being able to handle it - fantastic :) They also offer the obligatory spice trays if you opt to order a milder spiciness and prefer to adjust your level at your table. You can find fancier Thai places on the eastside, but few offer better food. I find Noodle Boat in Issaquah to offer a similar, family run vibe alongside equally delicious and authentic food. We're really fortunate to have such a great neighborhood Thai restaurant in Woodinville.

LOVED IT! We placed a group order for 10 people and were all extremely satisfied with our food. We called in our order and they delivered it (for a very small fee) within 1 hour. All of our dishes were labeled specifically so it was easy to identify who's was who's and there were no mistakes or missing items. They even provided silverware/chopsticks, plates, and napkins. I would definitely recommend Irene Thai to others and plan on ordering again in the future!

LISTEN UP PEOPLE!! I've been here before, but last time I was in the chicken that was served wasn't real chicken, it was like a sponge! I googled "spongy chicken" at the table and it came up as "plastic chicken". You can google it yourself, it is highly processed chicken. I recall the beef was ok, but I'm just staying away if they are going to this extent. Cheers!

  • Jenn F.

Not the best Thai in the area. The sweet and sour chicken I ordered had tiny pieces of pineapple, instead of chunks and it just tasted blah, it wasn't awful, but it could have been better.

Fast service, clean restaurant, great food. Fresh rolls are outstanding. Phad se wew very good. We sai one star and it came right on! Friendly people.

Ordered online through Eat 24. They quoted me 45-60 minutes, but got here in 30! Super quick! I ordered Pad Thai, Panang curry, and spring rolls. They were all good. They were a bit different than I'm accustomed to, but I liked them! Good portions of food for the price too. Overall, a great restaurant that I will continue to order from in the future.

I love this place and think it's the best Thai restaurant in the Woodinville/Bothell area. We do both dine in and take out, and have not been disappointed any of the times we have purchased food from Irene's. Our favorites are their parang curry, pad thai, cashew chicken, phad orange, and garlic delight. Very tasty food and a friendly staff.

Super good authentic Thai food. Delicious, fast and friendly place. Highly recommended!

  • Brandon D.

Pretty disappointing! I've had Irene Thai a few times before and it was very good. This time I ordered for delivery and asked for 4 star spice. It arrived pretty quick but was not hot. Nor was it spicy.... AT ALL! I don't think there was any spice to it. The curry seemed watered down and the phad orange was soggy. If you eat from this place definitely do not have it delivered.

Place is great, portions are great, friendly staff. Been here several times and haven't had a single thing to complain about.. love this place!

Just had a delicious lunch combo, my tummy is very happy. I have eaten here a couple of times over the years and thought it was just okay, but I was growing tired of Racha's lunch combo choices and gave it another try. Glad I did, I will be back.

  • Marshall G.

I stop by Irene Thai from time to time for their lunch portion Pad Thai ($7.95+$2.00 Shrimp) when that yen for Pad Thai overcomes me. I requested it be spicy and it was. The portion is generous at the price paid even with the surcharge for shrimp. During the Thanksgiving season, they featured a pumpkin curry served in a hollowed up pumpkin. My wife and both gave this dish our #1 ranking for 2013.

I have been here for in house dining and take-out. They also have delivery. Food is good and portion size is huge. The price is good compared to other thai restaurants. I would have given 5 stars but the service can be slow at busy times, but the food and price makes up for it.

I've been to Irene Thai Cuisine many times and have never been disappointed. Whenever I'm hungry and int he Woodinville area Irene's is my first choice. The Spring Rolls, Panang curry and Phad Kee Mao are great.

  • Bryan C.

Good food. Wife loved the beef pad thai and broccoli noodles. The green curry was ok, wish it had been spicier(the five star is not that spicy).we also had the golden tofu which was ok but they really should flavor it up a little. They were really nice and friendly, good costumer service. I ordered through the phone and my order was warm and ready when o got the. Very humble and courteous ppl. Will definitely go back

  • Travis N.

For the price the food here could have been a lot better. It's not a good sign when the fried rice at a Thai restaurant is better than the Pad See Ew. Also please keep in mind that they charge for refills at full price including regular iced tea.

  • Angelique S.

I love this place! Fresh, tasty, affordable Thai food in a clean and comfortable environment. The service has always been excellent and FAST, whether we eat in or get take-out. Not being Thai and never having traveled there, I can't vouch for the authenticity, but my best friend is half-Thai and spent a lot of time there, and it's the only place in the area she likes. Good enough for me. p.s. Don't forget to ask for a punch card for free entrees.

Best thai food around! Everything I have tried is delicious. Reasonable prices, and unbeatable taste. The family that owns this place is extremely friendly!

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. I am a regular, for both dine-in and take-out. There are a few Thai places in Woodinville, and I've been to them all, and Irene is my favorite by far. Tasty food and awesome prices. Calling for take-out seriously only takes them like 5 minutes. Also, they have a punch card, which I love! Service is always friendly.

  • Greewnwood G.

We just had an excellent lunch. All the dishes were very fresh and flavorful. All the kitchen staff seem to be Thai and the food was not watered down, like some places. Very nice and clean inside and lots of friendly folks. Will definitely return again. (We brought a printed Entertainment Book coupon - great deal!)

  • Bella F.

This is my go to take out restaurant when I want to eat something fresh and healthy. The shrimp fresh rolls with an awesome peanut sauce are delish. Pad thai is very good and not too sweet like some. Portions are a little bigger than most places. Service has always been prompt and friendly.

Here's your Christmas present, Yelpers and Yelpettes - the new Typhoon. Hopefully this place does not import culinary students and turn them into indentured servants... AFA the food Irene makes it best - I know, I know Racha is still darned good, but this is better and, for the time being, less expensive and not as crowded (and it had better stay that way or I swear I will skim the card reader, capice?) Best time (for me) is late night dinner. There's one server here - she works four different restaurants. I try and hit the place when she works, because I figure anyone working that hard deserves a decent tip. I love the curries - loads of cocoanut milk, nice and sweet. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, eat good Thai food! =;^)

Twice now I have been overcharged for lunch during my past 6 or 7 visits. They have three options during lunch: Lunch combos: $7.95 (Pad Thai + something else) Single lunch item (slightly smaller portion): $5.95 Regular dinner, non lunch menu: Price varies ($7.95-8.95 for most) (All in the same menu) I have ordered from the lunch menu, pointing directly at the item I want under the lunch menu listing AND using the words "from the lunch menu." On two separate visits the food that was served appeared smaller than their dinner size but somewhat larger than their lunch size. Did they mess up, or are they being generous? Then they bring the bill, and they've charged me for the dinner entree portion even though I VERY CLEARLY ORDERED THE $5.95 LUNCH, NOT $7.95 DINNER. Here's the conundrum: After the food is delivered I am not going to flag down the waiter and ask him to pull out a measuring cup and confirm whether it's lunch or dinner sized. Nor am I going to send it back and say "this is too big, please make it a lunch portion." So what am I going to do? Complain when the bill arrives and ask them to remove the extra $2 because they've charged for a dinner portion even though I just ate the food? When Irene Thai delivers a slightly larger portion at lunch and then they charge you for it, they've put you, the customer in a very difficult situation to either: complain and have them waste food or complain and have them credit you a couple dollars AFTER you've eaten the food that tasted just fine but was overcharged. The food is decent, but this tactic is passive aggressive BS to get you to pay more at lunch. Avoid.

After all the reviews, I was excited about this place. It was highly disappointing. There was a lack of effort in the food made. Tofu was raw, not even a little stir fry. The food was sweet at a spice level of 4! Very very average at best. I wouldn't go to this place again.

    (1)
  • Russ N.

Irene's is a quiet, family run Thai restaurant that does a lot of takeout business. We have tried many dishes and have not found anything we do not like. Like most Thai restaurants you can specify how hot you want your food. You can also ask for the chili condiment tray to add more heat. Fresh spring rolls with prawns, Golden tofu and chicken satay are our usual appetizers. The one fault is the limited wine selection, but they have Thai beer.

This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant. For lunch today we ordered the Yum Beef Salad, Country Phad Thai, Chicken Fried Rice and Irene Crunchy Chicken. The Yum Beef Salad is a mix of lettuce, cucumber, onion and tomato topped with mint and cilantro in a tangy fish sauce based dressing. Such a great start to the meal. The Country Phad Thai was the same ingredients as regular Phad Thai except its in a Tamarind sauce instead of the traditional Phad Thai Sauce. I don't think I would ever pass this up for the original. The Chicken Fried Rice was just like what you would expect but some how cleaner and more flavorful. The Irene's Crunchy Chicken was chicken pieces fried to crispy perfection. It was served with a sauce that was terrific although I don't remember exactly what it was. This was a great accompaniment to the fried rice. Both my wife and I thought everything was perfect. We wouldn't have changed the spice the flavor or presentation of any of the dishes.

This place was fantastic! I ordered delivery to my hotel and it came quickly, for a reasonable price, and the food was fresh, tasty, full of spice. I had the beef salad, rice paper spring rolls with shrimp, and chinese broccoli sauteed in soy sauce. All superb. So happy I didn't settle for the front desk's suggestion of ordering in a pizza.

It's a gem on the rough of Woodinville. You wouldn't expect to find good Thai up here, but this is as good as any Thai you'll find anywhere in Seattle with none of the parking hassles and a very reasonably priced menu.

  • Yasmien H.

So disappointed. I went twice hoping the slow service from the first time was a fluke. But the second time it was not as bad but still pretty slow since nobody was in the place. So, last time I ordered my food with a "1" spicy. And it was so spice I could barely choke it down and drank all my water and the waitress never came to refill it... the second time I was there, I ordered not off the lunch menu and ended up getting a plate with food that looked like they portioned it with an ice cream scoop. I asked my waitress why it was so little and she said that it was normal size... I am not one to complain about food portions, I hate places that give you so much food you end up gorging out, but this was ridiculous. I posted a photo of my plate. I will not be coming back. no way.

Seattle has a lot of top-notch thai - so we are spoiled. I have also been on a couple Asia business trips - so I am spoiled. This is a neighborhood Thai place with average quality ingredients and an Americanized menu. The food lacks the depth of flavor you will find at Pen Thai in Bothell, but for many makes up for it with cheap pricing. Very solid, but I doubt we will be back. Racha and Pen are just so good. We are spoiled in Woodinville.

I've only had delivery but I'm extremely satisfied with how fast it is and amazing the takeout here is! Most Thai places are hit or miss but so far this place hasn't disappointed us yet!

I like. Parking: nestled in a strip mall - near the baseball field - turn at Play it Again. Ambiance: It's got "interesting" decor - big fish tank as you come in, clean, but place is getting a little old. Service: Waitresses have always been very nice - even when we use restaurant.com certificates :) Food: Been here a few times now and I always order the Irene Crispy Chicken - it's like Chicken meatballs with a crunch in a delish garlicy sauce - and love the fried basil that's sprinkled on top - a must if you like garlic! The fresh rolls are average. Crab delight - lots of cream cheese, can't taste the crab. Cashew Chicken - you're standard, same with the green curry, panang curry, and black sticky rice (although this last time the green curry was a little too spicy - not the rating I asked for). Fairly large portions for the noodles - pad thai, pad se-ew, & kuay teaw kua (the last tastes like pad se-ew but with different veggies). Price: Most dishes are about $9-$11, appetizers $6-$9. Recommendation: I wish I lived closer - I would go more often, but if you're in the neighborhood, get the Irene Crispy Chicken - then add on your other favorite thai dishes - they do a pretty good job on everything.

It gets 2 stars because they deliver, but the food has gotten consistently worse. First time I ordered it was pretty good, but a little bland, and I blamed it on me asking for "mild" spicy. Next time I ordered the same, "medium" spicy, and it was just as bland. I blamed it on maybe they made a mistake and saw the previous order. I ordered again yesterday, and it's even more bland than before, I might say tasteless. The soup was okay, (I paid $50 for fried rice, noodles, soup and curry) but Pad Thai and fried rice were thrown in the trash.

  • Diana A.

Customer service great. Delivery is inexpensive and convient. The Chicken Satay appetizer was fantastic!! The Pai Thai was only okay. Noodles were a little dry and and sticky and not a whole lot of flavor. Panang Curry was okay. Four stars because it was super convient, inexpensive, great service and food wasn't bad just not to die for (except for Chicken Satay, which was awesome). I'll go again, I just wont order Pai Thai.

I was introduced to this restaurant although I hesitated seeing that it was in a strip mall. There was no one there besides us and it was on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm. We thought we had made the wrong decision but decided to go ahead to give it a try. We ordered the seafood pad thai, kway teow, and a curry dish. The kway teow was fantastic and I would come back again just to eat it. This dish is excellent and cooked perfectly, the chef really knew what she was doing. The pad thai was a little sweet but still good, although not as good as the previous dish. The curry however was not bad, however it seemed a little too sweet for my taste. It didn't come with rice which we had to order separately, in my opinion... it should come with rice. Anyway, the prices are right and the quality and taste of the food is superb. The new management has really improved this place. This Thai restaurant is the best one I have been to so far although it''s quite a distance from home. I have tried Similan's in Issaquah and that was just disappointing. Irene's Thai Cuisine is the place to go for Thai food now. I was very happy that I gave it a try.

I had a business lunch for about 40 people catered by Irene's and it was a very good experience. Wachi, the owner's son, was very helpful and worked with me on perfecting the order. He was very responsive, attentive and was able to accomodate all my requests. Wachi and his dad came to personally deliver the order. They had these trays and gel fuels to help keep the food warm. I ordered some of the chicken wings and they even brought a heat lamp to keep them warm and crispy. Everybody loved the dishes and kept asking me where I ordered from. Wachi and his dad was very nice - will definitely order from them again!

  • Bonnie M.

The staff was pleasant but my sister and I were both disappointed with their Phad Thai. She got her's with chicken and I got mine with fresh tofu. I'm curious to know what their so-called "Phad Thai Sauce" is made of. It resembled ketchup!!! My sister ordered her's with a couple stars more than mine and her's tasted more like ketchup than mine did. So it would seem that the hotter you want it, the more ketchup. The serving proportions were decent, but there wasn't very much chicken in her's or tofu in mine. What did our money pay for... noodles and ketchup with a tiny side of protein. It was very disappointing and we'll never go there again.

This is a solid Thai place kind of hidden in Woodinville behind Play it Again Sports. It's been a great post wine tasting stop and they have an Entertainment book coupon every year which always encourages us to visit. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but is clean and has a pretty cool fish tank at entry. As for the food, the shrimp spring rolls are great and we haven't had a bad main dish yet. Love the Phad Ba Mee and Swimming Rama. I usually like four stars spicy, but go with three here. Interesting that other reviewers say the opposite?! They do have a wine list comprised exclusively, as far as I could tell, of Chateau Ste. Michelle selections. I would recommend Irene Thai to anyone who is looking for a casual, but yummy, lunch/dinner.

I love this place! A little expensive, but totally worth it. Chicken sate is awesome so is the panang curry. When you order 5 star it is actually 5 stars. The staff is so sweet and the food is cooked to order, so if you want an appetizer order it right away. My kids love coming here to eat and my 4 year old loves the fish tank. I have been here 5 times and love it.

Irene Thai serves great food in a cozy atmosphere, and provides friendly service. They offer local delivery, which is hard to find for anything but pizza these days. Irene is a block off of busy 175th on a side street, making the location seem a bit quieter with easy in and out, and ample parking. This is a great place that's still waiting to be discovered by many people. Try it!

On the search for a Thai place I tried Irene and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Tom Kha soup and eggrolls and I enjoyed both. The food arrived quickly, my waitress was fine and you can't beat the price!

No compromise Thai food at reasonable price. The restaurant is also very clean, well decorated, and inviting. Definitely recommend!

The location is a bit hard to find but its behind Woodinville bike store and Play It Again. People are pretty nice here but food is very average. Had your typical pad thai, pad see ew, and curry with the family on a slow weekend. Prices were about a dollar more than I usually pay for Thai food but par for the area. They do not go overboard spiciness so order up a few stars if you're wanting to get a bit of a kick.

Hands down the best phad thai chicken I have ever had. Papya salad was too spicy for two stars. Sever was friendly, but restaurant was a little cold and dark. Curry was okay, not as sweet. Thai ice tea was perfect. Singhai beer was great. Overall phad thai was the best chicken taste!

We had the Garlic Delight (pork), Mussaman Curry (chicken) and Phad Thai (shrimp). All where very tasty! My favorite part is that they delivered to my house. I will order from them again.

While running errands in Woodinville, I was in the mood for some thai food. Came here on a few recommendations and I wasn't disappointed. This is a really nice little neighborhood thai restaurant. Like a lot of places in Woodinville, the location is tucked away in a strip mall or nondescript place. We drove past it before we realized and had to turn around. We finally arrived and we were greeted right away. Service was very friendly. One of my favorite dishes is spicy eggplant and I'm very picky about how it's prepared. It's probably due to some weird imprint thing and measuring every thai restaurant against one of my favorite places in Berkeley, CA (of all places!). I couldn't believe it! It was just as good. So, maybe it's the specific provincial style of the thai food, but I enjoyed all the dishes we had. The red curry was delicious and the country style pad thai was also very good. I'm sure if I lived in the area, this would be a regular spot for me. I did find out that they recently changed management but that the former owner is staying on to help with the transition so I hope the quality doesn't change.

Not the best place or the worst.... Definitely average as far as the food goes. The place on the inside is clean and updated which is nice. Decent taste on the red and massuman curry. They rate their hotness 1-5, and 2 was labeled medium but was more like mild. Great service and white meat chicken (always a bonus).

Based on Yelp recommendations, we checked out this restaurant. Never knew it was so close to stores we frequent, tucked away on the same street as Play It Again Sports. The restaurant has many regular tables and also booths. We ordered a noodle dish (#51) and the crab fried rice, both were fantastic (see the photo of crab fried rice). I've never seen fried rice presented with such decorum. What really piqued our interest was what the table behind us was having. We saw the server walk by with something that looked like a very elaborate prawn dish, with the prawn head and long tentacles as garnish. Next we heard all sorts of "ooohs" and "aaahs". The chef came out to discuss his inspiration for the dish. I can't wait to go back and try the specials. The service was also very attentive. The restaurant also has an awesome salt-water fish tank full of fish and soft corals. My dad has a similar tank but with much less fish and coral, and based on his experience, we knew that corals are really finicky creatures. We were mesmerized by the fish tank, and the fish tank caretaker came out and pointed out all the cool fish and different types of corals/anemones to us. We are definitely going back. My only complaint is that the "Extremely Hot" on their spiciness scale is not really all that spicy. I also noticed that their neon sign says "delivery", but if you have the time, have dinner at Irene's for the beautiful food presentation and the fish tank.

I"ve been eating at Irene's for about a year now, and it's high time I thank them with a good review. The food is consistently good and very good. The five star they get is for service, quality of food, friendliness, cleanliness, and overall restaurant feel, which are all excellent. They are a low-to-medium priced establishment and they are very good about keeping their end of the deal. For between $8 and $12 you can purchase an excellent dinner. The curries are very good (I particularly like the green curry), they also have great salads and starters. If you want desert I can recommend the black sticky rice. Don't know much about their noodle dishes - I've never ordered them. D on't forget to ask for a Thai Iced Tea - theirs is quite delicious.

I really like the food here. Phad Thai was delicious. Why? Some over do it on the sauce. They have have a way that is kind of mild and dry. Not to say its dry noodles. Just slightly less over sauced. It's perfect.

Have been twice this week. Once for lunch and last night for dinner. First, the service is awesome. Very Friendly, but not overly so, dishes arrived nice and hot, and in a timely fashion. Second, the food..in very good. For lunch I had the Panang Curry with chicken, it came with a side of brown rice and Phad Thai..it was really good. Everything was fresh, the chicken was cooked to perfection, it just melts in your mouth. For dinner we had Swimming Rama, w/chicken, Cashew Tofu, and Phad Thai w/tofu. The Swimming Rama, was DELICIOUS!!! The peanut sauce was DIVINE, once again the chicken was incredible. Both of the other dishes were great, veggies cooked just right, the tofu was fried perfectly. This in now my FAVORITE Thai Resturant. YUMMMMMMMYYYYYY!!!!

I have been here several times for lunch or dinner. The service, price, and quality is mostly in the good to excellent range. Noodles are good, curry is excellent. As others have said, this is not quite at the level of Bai Tong in Redmond, but it's cheaper and has faster service. Also their lunch portions are large and its basically two meals for the price of one with left overs. Basically it's my impulse/go-to place for good Thai in parties of 4 or under. Also they serve coconut Ice Cream with crispy fried coconut on top, very good. The only downsides I've found: - Sometimes(varying day to day) I've found they have less than premium beef cuts. - For some reason I found their Thai Coffee to be awful. Their Thai ice tea on the otherhand was great. - Squishy booths lowers the class a bit. For these minor things I subtracted a star. In a less absolute scale I'd give it a 3.9 / 5 with a +-0.2 variance.

I've been going to Irene's for two years now. Like many Thai restaurants in the Seattle area, this one is run by primarily family members. The service is almost always wonderful, the wait staff is helpful and polite. Everyone who eats Thai food regularly knows that you frequently get good food, often get excellent food, and on rare occasions you get epic food. You know what I mean by epic, food so amazingly divine that it haunts your memories for the rest of your life. An average Thai restaurant might produce one epic meal in years of patronage. Irene's, however, has produced at least 10 epic meals in the last year alone. That's a pretty good ratio, if you ask me. There's one chef who far surpasses all the rest, if you see her cooking you know you're in for a treat. She's a small older lady with a quick smile for her customers and a truly gentle heart. One time she made us a special dish on the house that wasn't even on the menu, because she said she was so happy to see her special customers. That's an unusual level of personalized customer service. Definitely made us feel welcomed. If you go there, some of the dishes they do best are Country Style Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Crying Tiger Pork, and Cashew Pork/Chicken. Definitely, if the older lady is cooking your food, get some Crying Tiger Pork....holy cow even Kings don't eat this good. Your mouth will drool in the throes of ecstasy.

So the guy that took our order seemed like he had no idea what he was doing, oh wait, he didn't. We ordered and he just stood there... like are we supposed to shoo you off now? And then there was a hair in our food... do we get a comp or and apology? no. nadda. zip. zilch.

I found this place by accident, and I'm glad I did! The man who waited on us was very friendly, and everything was delicious! I got a thai iced coffee and tom kha soup while my boyfriend got the Phad Kee Mao, both were excellent! Priced pretty average, if I were in the area again I'd go back!

Irene Thai Cuisine is a great little find in Woodinville. I love the cashew nut stir fry, and the kids really enjoy their kids meals. I have to disagree with Brian K.'s review. We were happy to find Irene after being served raw chicken at Racha, and watching a cook leave the bathroom without washing their hands at Pen Thai. We have never returned to either of those places, but will be back to Irene.

I came here because a few people at the office said it was amazing and way better than Racha Thai down the street. The food was okay but the service... terrible. So terrible I wont go back. First off the waitress was flat out confused and rude when I asked her if they could make a "dinner" entree for me for lunch. It was a simple question, and I had a backup selection in case she said "no," which she promptly did. She was also rude to the person who was with me who ordered a lunch special. The food came out and it was good but the portions of the actual "entree" were tiny when compared to the "sides" (which were all on the same plate as the entree) of rice and pad thai. The person with me commented several times that there was barley any chicken on their plate at all. Then when it came time to pay the waitress was rude. We wanted to split the meal and she said that she couldn't charge credit cards unless it was over $5. Splitting the bill in half resulted in two payments of $8 which last time I checked is more than $5. When i told her this she said I was wrong and she literally threw my card back down on the table. WOW. You've got to be frickin' kidding me. We paid, with one card, tipped nothing, and both of us ended the meal saying we will never go back again.

Great thai food! I love going here on off hours during the day. The food is amazing, the service so friendly, and the atmosphere so comfortable. If you like your food spicy, come here. They do it right. Order one of the soups. Seriously, it will make you feel like your floating in heaven.

Just FYI: Irene Family Thai is under new management and is closed this month? (I think...) After reading all of the great reviews on here about this little strip mall Thai place, I was stoked to try it. Well, after a little shopping trip to Target yesterday, I went here, and to my disappointment, they are closed right now because they are under new management. Bummer... I didn't know how many stars to give it since I didn't try it. Just wanted everyone to know that they are under new management. : )

I visited this place on a Sunday night. I was the only customer. Good ethnic food is hard to come by in Woodinville. All the places I have tried have been disappointingly Americanized. While Irene is better than some, it has its share of mutant bastardized food. And unless we magically get a huge influx of Thai immigration, lack of competition and demand for authentic foods will keep the real stuff away. The beef pad thai was freshly made, piping hot, and reasonably portioned. I asked for the five star spice level, which did contain a fair amount of heat, but won't pose a challenge to a seasoned palate. Then again, I eat thai bird chiles raw, so I might not be the best judge. My complaint would be that the pad thai was a little lean on the veggies. More greens would have provided a nice contrast in texture and taste. The green curry was less impressive. The portion was decent, but it's basically the same as you'd find in any stripmall shop, a little on the sweet side to please all the white folk that make up the clientele. On the food alone, I would have given this place 3 stars. However, the friendly service and great aquarium help to earn an extra star. I also appreciate the open kitchen, it's always nice to see someone really handling a wok.

2pm lunch, somewhat hard to find if you're not from the area. Behind Play It Again Sports. There was hardly anyone in there, service was slow, and portions were small and pricey for what you get. If you do go, order the fried banana and coconut ice cream that was really good. If in the area, I might stop in just for the dessert :)

The Irene crispy chicken is absolutely fabulous! I didn't care for my fried rice dish compared to other Thai places but I have (and continue to) come back here continuously for the crispy chicken! Service is great and fast as well, even during packed lunch hours!

This place has really gone downhill over the past few months. We've been going there for about 2 years now and it's always been one of our favorite places, but something has changed recently. My wife and I just went for lunch the other day and it was the worst experience yet. I'm seriously debating just not going back again. I had pork phad thai, which is what I always have, and it tasted like "ketchup" phad thai. I asked for 4 stars and it was barely one or two stars. This is a change from the past. We asked if they hired new cooks and the girl who was serving us barely spoke english (she messed up our order and we had to send it back to get corrected). Eventually a guy started helping us once it was apparent we were having problems, and he said they had not changed cooks, which I'm not sure I believe. My wife was disappointed with hers as well. She ordered phad ki mao and they forgot to cook tomatoes into it, which leaves a certain flavor out of the dish. The guy brought her a cold sliced tomato, which obviously isn't going to cook the flavor into the dish. We have had a couple other incidents over the past few months. One night we went in there and I asked for my normal 4 star pork phad thai and they had some lady filling in on the cooking station and she made it about 20 stars...I couldn't even eat it and I love spicy food. They didn't offer to replace my meal and they still charged me for it. Beware of this place...it used to be really good but something has changed. I think they've lost me as a customer.

"Irene" ...I think that's the owner's daughter. They have pictures of her when you first come in. I like this place. I had a pleasant lunch. I ordered the pad see ew and my husband had the yellow curry. Both were tasty and in a reasonable portion size. Lunch comes with soup or salad. The soup was a mix of tofu, meat, and seafood in a hot and sour broth. They even threw in a complimentary dessert of sticky rice. Lunch was pretty straight forward, I didn't see a drink or dessert menu. There were so many promising menu items I hope to try next time (crab cakes, seafood hot pot, and other items they claim to be unique to them). Prices are average for Woodinville, service was attentive, ambiance was warm and inviting. Good For: lunch special, take-out

This place has very tasty Thai food at good prices. I always get the Tom Ka Gai soup, Phad Thai, and Penang Curry and am never disappointed. I've eaten here at least a dozen times and it will continue to be a place I regularly visit. The place has never been very crowded and I think it's still a bit undiscovered. The waitresses/waiters I've had have all been great.

I really enjoy Thai food, the whole family does. Maybe we went on an off night. However our food was completely bland, ordered 6 dishes it took 50 minutes. I'd heard great things from several people. First time was a bust. Never the less I went back again for take out about two months later. Same poor experience. 50 minutes for food, one other family in the resteraunt mind you. Food was average at best. There are better Thai places in Woodinville. Definately don't go out of your way to visit. Maybe I'll try again in a year.

We were there early on a Sunday evening, not too many people and we were seated immediately in a nice booth. Ordered chicken satay, the whole rainbow trout, and garlic lovers' stirfy with beef. The sate was nice, well grilled, not overcooked (and a few cilantro leaves on it as a garnish.) The peanut sauce with the sate was better than most, with a distinct aroma of coconut milk. The rainbow trout was smothered in vegies and despite being deep-friend, there was no breading or batter on the fish so it was not in the slightest bit greasy -- very nice dish. This has a tamarind-based sauce which is citrusy and slightly sweet, which benefitted a lot from being ordered as 4 stars spicy. The garlic dish was primarily a mound of stir fried beef surrounded by a brightly colored (i.e., not overcooked) broccoli florets. A nice, if unexceptional dish. Alerted by other reviews here, we ordered the trout 4 stars and the garlic dish 5 stars (blazing, on the menu.) Both of these would correspond to 3 stars at most of the Seattle Thai restaurants we eat at. So you have to adjust -- which I think is true at most suburban restaurants. This was very competent and generally delicious food served in a nice environment. We'll be back to try it again.... Service was very good, too. The place is a bit hard to find -- easy to miss the turn off the main Woodinville drag. This is the kind of family-run place where you get a good meal and a good deal, and feel good supporting them.

My mom and I happened upon this place while running errands and decided to share the lunch special ($7) it comes with Pad Thai, Rice and Green Curry. The Pad Thai was good but maybe a little too sweet for my liking. However the Chicken Green Curry was amazing i mean probably the best green curry I've ever had. The Chicken was tender and not over cooked. The curry was the perfect balance of flavors and consistency. An added plus is that his place is spotlessly clean, modern and the staff is so friendly!

The food here is fantastic but the service is extremely slow. I have dined here more than 5 times now and my wait has always been longer than 30 minutes. The customer service is great and their "curry rolls" are to die for. I took my in-laws here for lunch and the waiter did not inform us of the lunch specials (nor offered us the lunch menu), so we paid dinner prices for lunch portioned dishes. Also, they were giving out a $5 gift certificate for every $50 you spend but never mentioned it to us. When we were leaving the restaurant, we just happened to look at their "specials bulletin" located in front of the store and not only were we overcharged but also denied a gift certificate (they only gave us 1 certificate, we qualified for 2). On top of everything, we were there during their happy hour and they charged us full price for our appetizers and beverages. I spent $120 on lunch for 5, instead of paying $40. I will never return to this restaurant, EVER...

This is now our family's favorite Thai restaurant in Woodinville (edging out Racha Thai). The "Irene" salad rolls - mixed veggies in rice paper - came with the best tasting peanut sauce we've ever had (considerably darker and a bit sweeter than most). The spring rolls were fine, but not as much of a standout. My wife had the chicken pad thai, which was cooked just right - moist and flavorful, and, like the peanut sauce, just a bit sweeter than the typical pad thai sauce. My said his sweet & sour pork was the best he'd ever had at an Asian restaurant (though he would have like a higher ratio of pork to vegetables). My daughter's house fried rice with pork and my pad kee mow were both better than average. The fish tank is mesmerizing, with many interesting species circulating throughout the tank. I also found it interestingly that many items - including the restaurant name itself - have "Irene" in quotation marks. I forgot to ask who Irene is, or why there is such liberal use of quotation marks. I'll ask about that next time. The people are very friendly and the service is prompt. Due to its out-of-the-way location, there was only one other table filled (on a Saturday night at 6pm). I hope they will stay in business - we'll certainly give them our business again!

I just moved to Woodinville and being the thai fanatic that I am, I instantly checked out all the thai places on Yelp! Well Woodinville is LOW on good thai, but Irene Thai was rated the best so I decided to give it a go. Like a three star rating says, it was A-OK. I ordered country phad thai, I hadn't seen that before so I decided to try it over regular phad thai. It was decent but left my tummy feeling oogy. The couple I was with ordered the Phad Kee Mou, and it was oh so yummy! Not all slimy and saucy like some. It was gingery and very pleasant. The service was good and they were fast and polite. Will I go back? Well maybe, but only if I don't feeling like driving to Redmond for better Thai.

I tried out Irene Thai since I have monthly 20% off coupons for the restaurant in my Entertainment Book (the printable ones). I figured I should give it a whirl after reading other's reviews. I went in for a take out order and they seated me while I looked over the menu. Also they gave me a water and a soup which I thought was very nice. The prices are very reasonable although I can only speak for the lunch menu. They have lunch combos for $7.95 which includes a specific smaller portioned entree and a side of phad thai. All in all it's a lot of food making it a good value plus it was very tasty, I ordered the Ginger Beef which had a fair amount of vegetables in it and had a nice flavor, the Phad Thai was also good. I will be going back.

Irene is fantastic under the new management. The atmosphere is still relaxed and comfortable with the awesome fish salt water fish tank (my two year old loves it). The service is friendly and competent. And the food is excellent. I especially recommend the 'country style' pad thai - they use real tamarind instead of ketchup as you find in most thai restaurants. Definitely the best Thai food in Woodinville.

HOLY MOSES !!! I have no relation to these folks, but the Mrs. & I went in tonight and chowed down. My Mrs. is a fantastic cook and she enjoyed also. We had fried tofu & the fried calamari followed by the tom-yum soup w/beef, the garlic seafood and some fried basil chicken. Yes we are both HWP and finished it all. Portions were fine, we are pigs, I don't know why we don't weigh 300 pounds each. The fried tofu was good, but the calamari -- it was special with some primo very light & tasty batter. The tom-yum soup was good at 3 stars - fairly lively hot. Garlic seafood dish was tasty and fresh- not drowned in sauce. The fried basil chicken was special as the basil was crispy fried and quite a treat. Again not drowned in sauce, tasty and able to stand on its own with a bit of tasty sauce on the serving plate. The help was friendly and fast. I really wish I was related to these folks. Good fast efficient service for a very reasonable price. Go check it out, I don't know their names yet, but from their effort and cuisine, I think I will soon!

Irene's is fantastic with very friendly service (much better than Racha down the street) and a cozy decor. Lunch comes with a small bowl of soup which is what I look forward to most. The basics such as their noodles and stir fried vegetable dishes are great but I've yet to try their specials which I'll try on my next visit. You may also get a glimpse of the elusive Irene!

Hands down, the best Thai in Woodinville, and they deliver! We went for the first time during one of the big snow storms we had this year and were pleased with their food and service. It was amazing how often they left to deliver food with the roads as bad as they were, but they were cheerful in doing so. I love their spicy eggplant and my boyfriend really likes their yellow curry.

Quite surprised at how much we enjoyed it considering we haven't had too many great Thai experiences. We weren't expecting much from a place in a strip mall. Sunday was slow so we can't really praise them on speedy service. I ordered hot n sour soup with chicken and that was D-licious but pricey. I thought I got a cup but it came in a normal size soup bowl and they charged for the bowl. Hefty $8.50. Not enough soup for a meal but the soup was tasty so I got over it. I also ordered Irene's crispy chicken in "hot" but it really wasn't too spicy. It looked cool. Giant crispy red meatballs with crispy Basil leaves garnished all over. Somewhat like coconut shrimp but not so much coconut. The chicken was pure white. It looked and tasted so fresh as well as all the other food. Portions were reasonable and the price fair. (only 1 togo box out of 5 dishes) The Pad Thai was a huge serving but I didn't taste it since it had bean sprouts in it. Rice not incld. was $1 /bowl. The ice water is tinted with lemon so don't get grossed out with the floaties. Would go back since they are in the Entertainment Book for discounts. Interior was clean and in pretty good taste.

Ordered delivery for my brother and me. Online ordering wasn't too confusing, but the $25 total minimum for delivery was a tad annoying. The food was pretty good, and the portions were generous. I'll be ordering from this place again in the future.

Wow wow wow wow... WOW! I'm impressed with my first experience here and definitely plan to return....and try more dishes too! First, Thai Iced Tea. It's a must, and it's really good here! And - bonus - it's not super expensive here either! Yay! They also have Thai Iced Coffee and I'm sure that's going to be just as yummy...but I can only handle so much caffeine right now ;) I wanted to try the panang curry, but my husband kindly reminded me that I didn't like it (although I don't remember why anymore even though he just told me today). I really have been in the mood for noodles so I decided to go with that good ol' gateway Thai food: pad see iew (not sure how it's spelled at this location, ever Thai place seems to spell that differently!). I opted for the beef (which I never do usually!) and it was really good! The meat was tender and well flavored, noodles and broccoli good as well. I did order spicy level 2 and it didn't seem very spicy to me, so I'm guessing it's safe to go higher on the spice level than you may at other Thai places. My husband had one of the curries (the red one perhaps?). He said that he either enjoys curry more as he eats it or less, and this was an instance where he enjoyed it more! He also ordered a level 2 and found it to be rather spicy... (I still think the spice was lower than usual with my dish...) I had to try the Golden Tofu appetizer as well and I'm SO GLAD I did!! That was excellent! My husband who doesn't even really care for tofu tried it and found it to be addicting too, even likening it to sausage of all things! Ha! I definitely recommend this app!! And, I definitely WILL be having it again! A really good first experience here for us... I'm a fan. :)

I typically order delivery from Irene Thai. I feel like the portions for some of the dishes are a little on the lighter side, and the food could be much spicier, but overall everything I've had has tasted pretty good. I really like that they deliver, and the staff is always very cheerful and pleasant.

New to the Woodinville area, I not only tried this restaurant for the first time, but I also ordered online through Yelp for the first time, and I was super impressed! Fast service, affordable prices and the food was superb!! Crab Delights were wonderful, crispy, creamy and full of flavor. Prawn Phad Thai was delicious and the Tofu Pa-Nang Curry was great- we did medium spice and it was just right for us, a bit spicier than we were expecting for medium, but we like that! Go less if you are not a fan of spicy! Will be ordering from them again!!!

Best vegan option I could find close to home, likely to be easy on my friend's non-spicy need, and with reasonable prices. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. 3-star quality food with a good variety for both vegan and non-vegan. The staff was very helpful with questions about ingredients and willing to adjust them. The atmosphere was nice, clean, and comfortable. They provided a hot spice tray so that I could add as much to mine as I liked. I believe the staff pushed this from a 3 to a 4 star, even though I believe the other comments about the owner. We had the soft spring rolls with peanut sauce, yellow pineapple curry rice, broccoli with garlic-soy sauce, and Pad Thai. We both enjoyed the rolls. My friend enjoyed the pineapple curry rice, commenting on how nice it was, as we munched on the broccoli that had a hint of garlic. I found the Pad Thai average good. I would order all of them again while also trying some of the other dishes. I had also looked at trying Mediterranean Kitchen in Kirkland, but with the review of too heavy on the garlic, even I would have really liked it, I differed to my co-diner's needs. We may risk it next time, but we both enjoy Irene's and had a great visit. Having watched most of Gordan Ramsay's shows with his inclusions of Yelp and other reviewers, I could easily see the effect on how willing the staff is for taking care of customers. Not that we should push this, but it was very nice for us all to be friendly and they did whatever was a little more than reasonable for us to have a good experience there.

This is one of those situations where I have nothing absolutely horrible to say, but nothing really nice to say either. My husband and I took his mother here while she was visiting from out of the area. It's hard to find restaurants she can eat at since she's vegan and gluten intolerant, so Thai seemed to fit the bill. The food was okay. Nothing amazing. What bothered me was the sheer lack of customer service. It's not that the waitress and waiter were rude, because they weren't. They were just... well, they had absolutely no personality and no idea on how to be friendly. At one point my mother-in-law asked if they had hoisen sauce, not sure if it was something Thai restaurants stocked. The waiter didn't even answer her, just brought her a plate of chili sauces, none of which were hoisen. The waitress also never smiled, said hello or thank you. It was all business, in a very non-friendly way. Sometimes a restaurant experience is more than just shoveling food in your face, and this one really missed the mark. I wouldn't choose to go back, and their customer service is exactly why.

Has become a Seahawks game tradition/addiction to get Irene delivered since we discovered them. Delivery is free in my area! Pad Thai, crispy chicken, any curry, any fried rice, Tom Kha, and Larb are some of my favorites. Fresh shrimp rolls are awesome. I have had almost everything and never had a bad dish. Pen Thai is very good also but I think the best value definitely is here for more authentic thai in the area. You honestly can't go wrong.

Flavorable mussamun curry. Very friendly family staff. Nice lunch experience. Affordable. Sort of off the main street, but worth hunting down.

This review is just my opinion and experience on Irene Thai's customer service. My whole family has been involved with customer service in all kinds of ways, including myself, for decades. My grandfather managed the front desk at a hotel for nearly 20 years before retiring; I've grown up around good customer service. I never write reviews because generally don't feel the need to write one; especially reviews that have northing to do with the food. I've tried this place twice within the last week, trying to order from these guys via delivery, but their terrible with customer service. Their phones are in need of replacement it seems (because mine is two months new, works just fine), they don't address me with quality or respect, and I'm having such a difficult time just trying to get a simple order through. The employee I was speaking too just left the phone on the counter without telling me she was going to. I was listening to clanging dishes and chatting language for like 3 minutes before I finally decided to hang up and call a third time. When you ask me what I would like to order, you don't say "what you want?". When you ask me for my home address, you don't say "where you live?". You also should address me personally with an occasional, please, thank you, and if needed "sorry for the wait". I didn't get any of that. I grew up in a low income neighborhood with lots of diverse cultures. My childhood best friend was Chinese and Thai; we always ate her mother's cooking which was full of so much love. I grew up loving good Thai food, always will love it, but I wont be loving anything here because I can't even get through the phone to make an order. This just seems like an average Thai place that isn't anything special. Its just an average Thai place that wants to make a profit; it doesn't seem to care too much about it's customer. If it did, I wouldn't have had a terrible experience over the phone 5 times within the last week. Hope this helps. I might order some food (if I can) just to see if their quality is even worthy. I like the Thai place down the street though. I forgot the name, but they're right next to the Tokyo restaurant. Wish they did delivery.

Just finished an delicious dinner here! We had spring rolls, Phad Thai, and the yellow curry and everything tasted amazing! Service is great, our water was refilled every time it was half drank and they were quick to deliver a side of peanut sauce when we requested it. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to order their delivery!!

Don't believe anyone giving this place under 4 stars. Period. Every dish is Dishlicious and customer service is what you can expect from a family run small Thai restaurant. Believe your taste buds, this is the best Thai spot in or around Woodinville!

My whole family really likes this place. We typically get delivery. The kids love the pad thai and orange chicken. My wife likes the variety of vegetarian options that are tasty. I really, really like the cashew chicken with brown rice. Great place!

Went there today and ordered the fresh shrimp rolls an scallop pad kee meow. The fresh rolls have gone downhill with only one shrimp per roll. The pad kee meow was soggy and didn't have enough flavor.
