kims grill...a unassuming place in a strip mall. not much external decor.... actually none! I walked in not expecting much. the decor is minimal at best. I think I know why..... they sank all their money into the food! my chicken katsu was the best! the sticky rice was just right! and huge portions even for me! will be back to try other dishes ..

Absolutely love the chicken bento from here! The food is always hot and fresh and you never have to wait too long to get your food. Due to their location and where they are in the strip mall it is difficult to tell if they're open at times. However, I will continue to visit Kim's grill many more times to come!

I go to this place all the time. Their chicken bento is only 5.75 and it's very filling. Its a family run business and they are always very nice. Service is excellent and they get your food out to you fast. Lunch can get really busy so call ahead. My favorite teriyaki joint in Vancouver.

Excellent spicy chicken. quick service, friendly service, and generous portions. Look forward to trying other things on the menu. Hard to believe anybody would buy the deli food under the heat lamps next door at Safeway when this place is so much better in every way including price.

Good teriyaki place. My family came in and had the beef bento, the chicken bento for the kids, and the spicy pork plate. Everything was tasty and they even brought out an extra plate for the kids without me asking, which is always a huge plus for me. My kids loved their food, so I'm sure we will be back.

A nice little teriyaki joint in the corner of a strip mall. This place is good for a bite to eat during lunch or take out. Food is reasonable with price although quality doesn't quite compare with ICHI Teriyaki. Family run business, service is friendly and prompt.

I visit Kim's grill at least twice a week, sometimes for the $6.45 Lunch special, and also sometimes for dinner. The food overall deserves 4 stars, the reason I've chosen to give them 5 stars is for consistent quality dishes at an excellent price, with a relatively short wait time... The lunch special gets busy sometimes but there is a reason for that =). If you're in the area and like teriyaki, definitely check this joint out.

I eat at most teriyaki places around town and when I travel, as it's one of my favorite foods. Kim's grill is excellent. Light teriyaki sauce, gives you sweet chili, fast service, consistent flavor, and good portions for 6 dollars. Lot of other places charge 8-11 bucks for combo plates now. Kim's grill lunch special is 5.99 for combo. Go here, it's good

Went and had lunch here today and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken teriyaki was flavorful and so was the yaki udon. Another thing I liked was even enough they were kinda busy, the food came out promptly and the service was good.

With all due respect to Brittney T. I came to try Kim's Grill on the advice of The Wife, and if you know what is good for you, you do what The Wife says. Now I pride myself on knowing my teriyaki style dishes. I have spent half a lifetime searching out excellent teriyaki places and I have to say that Kim's rates very high on the list. I found the meats to be lean and the service to be quite excellent. The Yakisoba dishes are amazing as are the classic plates with rice and a small salad. I have had the chicken and the beef so far and both have been excellent. I have been fortunate to live and work near two great teriyaki places, Mashita in Tualatin and Du's Grill in St. John's and while Kim's isn't all the way as good as Mashita (what is?) it's as good as Du's and that says a lot to my tastebuds.

Not a terrible spot by any means but I just wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Portions are decent. I had the spicy pork an it was ok...if you're expecting true Korean style pork bulgogi look elsewhere. This place is better than most heavy sauces teriyaki spots so that's a plus.

Yummy teriyaki style food with a good lunch special. Food is always ready in less than 10 mins.

Don't plan on going here if you're pressed for time for lunch. I've been here a few times and each time is a 20-30 minute wait for my food. The spicy chicken dish is flavorful, but I've experienced dry chicken once or twice. How can you have dry chicken and have the food made fresh on the spot. I think I'm done with giving them "another shot." I'm done with this place.

We go here about 2x a month. It is much better than Youskyme. We've had their yakisoba and teriyaki. Both are really, really great. I like their hot sauce they use. The meat has always been tender and thin. They give you a lot of meat! We order two dishes generally and that gives us about 2 or 3 meals each and takes a couple of days to finish. I give Kim's a 5/5. The prices are very reasonable. I always recommend this place to people because it is so delicious. The folks who run it have always been nice and we've never had a bad dish from here. It is very strange to me that Brittney has a problem with this place because all I can tell you is that the quality of the food is amazing. :)

As far as inexpensive teriyaki goes, this place is the best! I am not a teriyaki person and I always dread it when I'm dragged into eating teriyaki for dinner because the chicken is always so mysterious and full of tendons. This place offers a white meat option and their sauce is very thin and not too sweet. It's cheap too and they're really nice. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I have tried many teriyaki places around town and this is our favorite! The prices are super cheap and the staff are very accommodating to your needs. Great for take out or dining in; I always have enough food for two meals. I also appreciate that the chicken, pork or beef are always well marinated, moist, and quite flavorful.
