Wow.......I'm surprised at all the negative reviews for this place. I had a totally different experience. I stopped in for lunch and received a warm welcome. Posted up at the bar since it was just me. Ordered the brisket sliders, corn pasta and wolf turds. Wolf Turds-roasted jalapeño stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon then fried in a corn dog like batter. I have never had anything like them very delicious. Too much breading for my day time diet but put some beers in and there won't be anything left. Brisket Slider- very good, smoky, crisp and tender from the grill. The bleu cheese sauce had flavor. I give it an A+. Pasta salad-is what it is. A good filler. I would usually go for the fries. Give this place a try and I hope you gets the results I did. PS- I did't have to season anything! Food Guy Out!

I have only been for lunch and with the exception of the parking, this place provides a low-key enjoyable and tasty lunch experience. The staff has always been great, friendly and prompt. It's a saloon so you seat yourself. The brisket sliders are pretty tasty. Tender and smokey. Comes with a choice of sides, beer battered fries, soup of the day or pasta salad. You can't go wrong with any of the side choices. Pulled pork is also good. Not the best location but worth a spin if your in the area.

We wanted to try something new and we were so glad we did. Though it is a bar atmosphere, it has a somewhat upscale hillbilly feel to it with it's rustic tree like tables & modern rock country music playing. The prices are very good for the food you get- I was expecting typical bar food- instead I got some serious gourmet stuff that was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The menu right off the bat made me want to order one of everything. We ordered 4 menu items for 2 hungry picky people- pork sliders, kobe gouda sliders, chirizo mac n cheese & wolf nuts? can't remember the name, but they were very fancy and delicious jalapeno poppers. The food just blew us away. We are not bar people at all, but the food will bring us back!!! The sliders came with a side- we picked clam chowder and a jamaican spiced pasta salad. Those sides were just as impressive as the rest of the food. We had leftovers too. I'm still thinking about the mac n cheese the morning after, wondering if my husband ate all the leftovers....

Great staff, poor beer selection. Bud, coors, lemon crap, and another seasonal fruity beer....and a row of empty handles. Sad. The food I did have was minimal (fries and cheeses, lol) I don't go to a bar to eat, so a better beer lineup (more variety!!) would be great.

While I am still enthusiastic about Websters, I felt like I should update my previous review. The reason for my drop from 4 stars to 3 is an issue with consistency. While many, if not most, of my experiences have been positive, I have been there enough times to have seen some shaky quality control (I wonder if it has something to do with whether or not the owner is there). A few examples: While the hot wings have generally been delicious, one time they were served cold. This last time we were in (on a Sunday) the two pieces of fish served with my wife's fish and chips were literally the size of chicken nuggets. I think she barely got two bites out of each. In addition, the usually delicious fries were over-cooked for both our meals. If they can just work out the consistency issue, this place would truly be stellar (for bar food).

Went here for a late lunch, and was not quite sure what to expect. Nice decor, fairly empty, and a standard collection of un-notable liquors. There was a deshutes sign, so likely there was at least one drinkable beer on tap. We came in just before two, and the server/barkeep informed us that happy hour started then. The menu was pretty impressive, with lots of fairly fancy sounding options, all at good prices. (eg, steak and brie salad was about the most expensive, at $9). During happy hour, ALL FOOD was $5. Naturally I had the steak and brie, which was great. They didn't ask me how well I wanted it done, so I assume it was pre-grilled and warmed, which is just about the only complaint I could muster for it. The Brie was perfectly grilled, the lettuce was romaine (not iceburg or some other inane non-nutrient), and it was generously covered in pecans and craisins. I'm pretty sure I couldn't _make_ that salad for 5. My compatriot had the brisket sliders (which are closer to normal burger size) and we both loved those. I will definitely have to come back and check out the tap list. The food was great,--though I don't know how it was sourced--and the prices were awesome.

I like the location of the restaurant as well as the concept. We need more saloons to get rowdy in. Inside the décor is a blend of modern materials with antique styling. I loved the tables and some of the floor and trim work in the establishment. The staff was fantastic, super friendly and welcoming. The Sports bar TV thing is a little tasteless. There is a TV every 4x feet in this place. If I had wanted to watch the game I would have gone to a sports bar. The food was a total let down... like bland hotel room service food. The tortilla soup was more like a watery bad chili. The Brie and steak salad was a pile of sugar between the candied walnuts and crazins. Finally the Phili sliders were really tender delicious meat... too bad they were drenched in cheese and smothered in white bread with a totally generic microwave steak sandwich taste. Drinks were good but nothing special on tap or in the cocktail menu. The worst part: water glasses tasted like Folgers and had little floaters in it. Is the aesthetic and staff enough to brave the food and patrons for a repeat visit? Not a chance.

Stopped by for some food and an app. Stayed for cocktails and dinner. Mac n cheese was creamy and flavorful. Sliders popped with spice and smoke! House made barrel aged cocktails, and friendly staff!

I loved this place. Stopped by for a beer on the way home from the lake. It was before 10PM on a Sunday. Outside advertises happy hour after 9PM everyday. The first thing the grumpy server girl said to us is "the kitchen is closed". We then asked for a drink, and she said she was closing down but she could get us one. My two pals drank theirs promptly, and I had 3/4 left. They were going to order another quick one, but she came back and said, "all one tab"? Did not ask if they wanted one more. The bar had at least ten people still in it, and outside, there were tons of people playing volleyball. We were not drinking prior to there, and so not sure where her bad attitude came from. I've come here before and loved it, I love William and his food. I was excited to show my friends this place, but we were treated so poorly. Imagine our surprise when an hour later, a friend called to go meet us at a bar.... This one. He was served about an hour later. Totally rude. We will never come back. William, feel free to contact me about this. It was embarrassing.

We stopped by at 3 p.m. on Saturday. They have an interesting menu: steak and brie salad, chicken and strawberry salad, chicken waffles, etc. Tasty food, good service from Cody, and a nice atmosphere. A real neighborhood gem. Also, I don't know how to put this delicately, not your typical rough Monroe Street crowd. Your wife won't be angry if you take her in there.

My friends and I come here to play volley ball when we get out of yoga, at 9 pm, and the bartender kicked us out, despite the fact we are all interested in spending money and playing more. From what I understood, it was pressure from the owner, not the choice of the bartender. Do not spend money here, they don't respect their customers, and don't deserve to stay in business.

Great lunch options. Although a whiskey saloon plenty of vodka for me to choose from. Friendly staff. Volleyball in the back, pool table inside. Really good prices. Good music. Friendly, mixed crowd - blue and white collar various ages. I have no complaints. Mussels and wings are really good. Need to try more to comment on more. Looking forward trying it all soon.
