Sorry, We are updating this restaurant cholesterol menu details.

Food was fine, the staff were very welcoming, and I got the right mix of unobtrusive service and recommendations that I wanted from a new restaurant.

PF Chang's is always good. It's a chain that has good customer service, great management, and good food. The menu is fun, decently priced and they give you a sauce rack to create your own sauce. Which is nice to make it flaming hot on your own request. Like everyone, the lettuce wraps are great, we tried a couple of the happy hour buns and pot stickers which were also quite tasty. The entrees are a good size, so you will probably bring some food home if you have appy's to start. With the location downtown it is always advised to make a reservation as the wait came by 1 hour pretty easily with all the crowds in that area.

Never had a bad experience at any P.F Chang's. I don't know how people score less than five. Love every dish, especially the lettuce wraps. Hook me up to a lettuce wrap I.V.

Lettuce Wraps . . . Makes the trip well worth the event This is an interesting place and I must admit with the selection in the area this restaurant is . . . could be some time before I would return ( a sign to me as a place to leave me wanting more / something noteworthy ). It is a PF Chang - the chain - and that IMO is a strength but also at times a hindrance since corporate seems to dictate the menu. A must is the lettuce wraps - following that up is ok, not awesomeness foodage . . . bar service was good however to make up ( service here was very attentive and good for my visit )

If you are into fast food this kind of food might be appealing for you. My dish was very greasy.

I'm use to going to the Bellevue location and the host staff there seems to be a lot more organized then here. We saw several empty tables and way to many people waiting. Wait staff was very friendly , polite, and knowledgeable. Food is prepared like all PF's. Lettuce wraps are the best!

I had only been to PF Chang's once prior to my most recent visit, It was this same place. I was initially not impressed by the service or the food. It seemed so-so and I never had an urge to ever come back. A co-worker needs to eat Gluten Free food and so she visits PF Chang's frequently. She wanted to go, so I decided to give the place another try. I'm so glad I did. My dumpling lunch was just okay, but her Singapore Noodle dish was awesome! I also tried another co-workers Lo Mein, which was also delicious. As for service, this time it was stellar and much far beyond what I would've expected from the establishment. The dumpling lunch comes with 2 orders of 3 dumplings each. I decided I wanted to add a 3rd set of dumplings to my lunch. The menu states it's $1 more to add additional dumplings. I thought it would be an order of 3 dumplings like the original two. When I received my order, the extra purchase for $1 is 1 dumpling, not 3. Say what? Anywho, the waitress said there has been a bit of confusion regarding the menu and already asked the chef to add two more dumplings. I was very appreciative. The waitress kept checking back occasionally to see if I had received the two extra dumplings. My co-workers and I had completely finished our lunches and I still had not received the two extra dumplings. The waitress felt terrible, but it was okay given I wasn't technically supposed to receive the two extra dumplings anyway. However, she took it upon herself to inform her manager about the issue. The manager came out and apologized for the mess up, gave me a gift card for a future lunch, and handed my co-workers and I free appetizer coupons. In addition, the dumplings finally arrived, and they added two sets of dumplings on top of that. I was completely stuffed, and amazed at the incredible customer service that I was provided...beyond the delay in dumplings. They definitely made a future customer out of me.

Generic and uninspired. Two words that describe pretty much everything about this place, the food, the beer menu and the decor. The bathroom is downstairs, you take an elevator to get there btw, that was weird. Food, generic and not authentic in any way. Flavoring is either bland or spicy. Not good well balanced and flavorful spicy, just spicy. Basically the food is not well flavored. Our server was best described as terse. I have no interest in eating at another PF Changs, here or elsewhere.

Decided to go to PF Changs since most of the restaurants I usually go to were booked. On Sat Jun 23, 2012 ordered Honey Shrimp, brown rice, hot and sour soup, and Ginger beer. The following day Jun 24, 2012 decided to get the same food. Food was great but that's where the "service" issue comes to play. On Sat I had JASON as the waiter... excellent job, always checking, polite, smiling etc. then on Sun I had CHEYENNE as waiter (non observant, not pleasant, didn't seem like he wanted to be there ) .... well end result: food bill was the same ... TIP? $15 for Jason $5 for Cheyenne ... (Jason should be a mentor to Cheyenne) !

The Hot and Sour soup is amazing! Service is ok. The drinks are pretty good. I especially like the PFX.

Sunday night double date at PF Changs was quite eventful, and not really in a good way. The hostess told us it would take 10-15 minutes, so we sat right in front of her to wait. 10 minutes later, an older couple comes in and sits down right away at a table that seats 4. Thinking that was odd, I asked why they were seated before us. She then asks my name and I told her she never asked for my name when we came in. Duh. She looks at me blankly and then another hostess scrambles to seat us right away. This was intriguing as a man had just complained that they forgot him and his party for about 40 minutes. I'm sensing a trend here. Our waitress was cheerful and speedy. Almost too speedy, but that's not a big deal. What was a big deal was that we had to wait over half an hour for our food because the kitchen somehow lost our ticket. Hungry and a more than a little irritated, we finally got our food with apologies from the waitress and the manager. At the end of the second hour of our visit, we were pleasantly surprised with the manager comped our entire meal. While this would've been a negative 1 star rating for the multiple errors, this action made our experience worth 3 stars. I'm thinking it was just a rough night for them, but hopefully they won't make it a habit.

Their food is so much better than your standard, American-ized, Chinese food!! I also thought the portions were a great value for the price. Service was friendly and timely too. I'd definitely recommend this place when your in the heart of downtown Seattle.

I figure it's very low class to like P. F. Chang's -- I mean, how is Paul Fleming in any way Chinese? But to me it just tastes good. However, I should warn that we always get the same two items (garlic snap peas and Mushu Chicken) then get a noodle dish. This system works, the food is yummy, the price is reasonable (less than $30!) the service was great. Our hotel gave us a recommendation for a place in Chinatown, but we just didn't make it over there. I bet we enjoyed this meal more than we would have the other one (OK, we're not food snobs!)

Good food, nice drink selection, quick service, friendly staff. Good lunch menu. Good mix of casual and semi formal attire, so an easy place to just stop in at no matter what the occasion.

This review is simply with regard to making an online to go order. Don't waste your time they won't bother to make it until you get there regardless of the pickup time you arrange. Very disappointing and really poor form.

Wow! If I'd rated this place after the last time I'd gone, I would have given it four stars. But, my more recent experience was definitely a two star affair. So, I am splitting the difference. Mr H and I went for lunch on Saturday a few months back. The main dining room was full, so we were seated in the bar. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Our rice bowls were yummy. It was a nice, relaxing, no complaints kinda meal. Went back a few nights ago with a friend. This time, we were in the main dining room. I was missing the bar. We ordered lettuce wraps to start. The chicken was actually pretty good. But, they only brought three pieces of lettuce. We had one each and split the third. We were about to ask for more when our server noticed the lettuce plate was empty and asked if we needed more. She then proceeded to bring about five times as much lettuce as we could possibly eat. Bizarre. I ordered the ginger chicken, because I love ginger and, per its name, I expected it would taste like, I don't know, ginger(?). It did not. It was completely flavorless chicken in a completely flavorless sauce. (Though it was covered in green onions which are not mentioned on the menu and which I really do not like.) Service was odd, at best. Our server was not unfriendly, per se. Just indifferent. She went through all the motions just fine, but did nothing to make us feel particularly welcome or comfortable. Chang's puts a selection of sauces on each table, and, at one point, our server came over and just started mixing a few together without asking us if we wanted her to do so or even telling us what she was doing or why she was doing it. It definitely had an air of "I know better than you do what you should be putting on your food." And, that just does not sit well with me. Prices, as others have mentioned, are a bit above the odds for what you are getting. Since I would not go back for the food, or the service, or the value, or the atmosphere, I can't think of why I would go back...

I think their food is great! My faves: Spicy green beans, Ginger Chicken w/Broccoli, Lettuce Wraps, and Mongolian Beef. Oh - and how could I forget those Spring Rolls! Honestly, everything I've tasted there has been delicious - never a bad dish! The downtown location has an odd flow since there is an entrance in the restaurant and one in the bar, and it is a split level place (the bar is up above). My only issue with it is that you do feel like you're eating at a chain restaurant. So, it's fun to go with out-of-town guests while sightseeing downtown, but probably not romantic/original enough for a special night out with your honey.

Went for a friend's birthday. They easily accommodated a huge group. The staff was really friendly, and helpful. The food was really good. I had the vegetarian lettuce wrap, which is technically an appetizer, but I hate half and was full.

  • Nick V.

I already knew what was going to happen when I received a text message saying a friend's birthday was going to be here. Overpriced American style Chinese food in a fancy decor. Being that I haven't been to PF Changs since 2005, I asked the waitress for recommendations. Ordered: Orange Chicken, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Crab Won Tons, and a chicken noodle dish. Add 4 whiskey/ginger ales = $98.00 including 18% gratuity. No wonder it's been 4 years since I've been in here. The food was garbage. No other words can describe their food. Don't get me wrong, I like fake Chinese food like Panda Express, but even the Safeway deli version of Chinese food is better then PF Changs. This would be the rating system: Ambiance/Decor: 1 star (it smelled like urine) Food: -1 star Service: 3 stars We arrived at 9:30PM on a Saturday night. They close at 11. Our reservations were for 15 people, I quickly informed our waitress and host to expect our party to grow to 40 people. Short notice, yes, however, we're in a recession, the restaurant was dead, and the waitress quickly became overwhelmed - but was quick, and remembered not only our orders, but gave us separate checks (important in large parties) and everything came out in a timely manner. I give our server kudos to taking care of us and being gracious. She did an excellent job handling the situation, and I know she was compensated generously for her work. I did notice a man in a suit that was watching over our table and I'm going to assume he's the manager - if so, he should of assisted us in moving tables instead of chatting with the pretty server going over her checks. All in all, the reason why I'm rating this venue over 1 star is the service. The food was purely disgusting, and the next time I'm invited to a dinner party, I'll be drinking my dinner. Speaking of, the drinks were watered down. It was half a shot of whiskey and a can of ginger ale - so I ordered double shots with a splash to balance it out. It worked, but at a price. $90+ for some crap food is sick. Yes, the lettuce wraps are decent, but that's not enough to make anyone come back. If you're craving fake Chinese food, save some money and find the nearest Panda Express!

A good mix of Asian-American cuisine! We went there on a crowded new year's day! Good thing the bar opened-up a space for me and my husband! The bar was set-up perfect for chillaxin. . . T'was on the upper level, facing the whole dining area! The only thing I really don't like is their choice of music! Nonetheless, service is awesome and food was delivered on time! And oh! The food was delish!

No flavor, tiny portion, expensive. I ordered take out, they put my dishes in a bag. When I got home, I found out one dish was missing. Nightmare!

Love their vegetarian wraps. Other than that, nothing special to write home about. I went for happy hour, but their happy hour isn't all that great of a deal. This is a good middle class hang out for Chinese food for middle class people who don't know Chinese food.

I've gone in several times, before, during and after a big crowd. Service is always prompt and attentive; if anything, they replace my drinks a little too quickly as the next drink appears before the current one is finished. I think the worst experience I've had to date at PF Changs was that one time the server brought me a drink without the straw. I think I'll live and there won't be any lasting damage. The food that I order is always good, but I generally stay away from the things that look like they'd be done badly. Things like Almond chicken, etc. that are fairly basic frequent my orders. I have sampled some of their other food items that I didn't order and I thought they were pretty average, at best. Quality is good, cleanliness of the dishware, etc. is always good, and the servers are helpful. Food appears rather quickly, and is warm enough to let me know it hasn't been waiting long. I can't say that the food is awesome, inspiring or amazing, but it is consistently good and generic. If you want something amazing like the best egg drop soup in Seattle, or perhaps a specialty chicken feet dish, you won't find it here. You will find a nice selection of your average Chinese food dishes for an affordable price though.

I know that it's bad to like American Chinese Food...but I want to be bad with PF Changs' crab wontons, crispy honey chicken, and egg drop soup every day of the week. There is a $40 special for 2 people that includes your choice of soup, an appetizer, two full-size entrees, and a little dessert shooter. My husband and I have definitely had our fill with that special on more than one occasion. And maybe the place is a little cheesy with its imitation zen decor, but the service is nearly always impeccable, and I don't think I've ever waited more than 3 minutes to be seated with my regular party of 2. Now if only I could get them to deliver...

  • Jon D.

Merely OK food in a faux-ritzy downtown environment. You can get better food from any half-decent take out place. But I will admit it's a nice interior with friendly service. I was there with a huge group of over 20, we ordered half of everything on the menu. It was all fairly mediocre, but about what I expected in the first place. Food came out quickly, all elements of service were prompt. Portions were probably a bit smaller than your average take-out place, but again, whaddya expect. A good 3 stars for a place that treated my group well, but will probably never find me in its doors due to the $6 lunch special Chinese eatery in my neighborhood.

PF Chang has made me realize that I love fake Chinese food. Do not come here expecting real authentic Chinese food, because it's not happening. However, PF Chang's Chinese food is super good. I have tried their sweet and sour soup which I really like, their wonton soup (don't like as much), salads (love them all- my favorite is the ones that comes with jumbo gilled shrimp, fresh watermelon balls, and nuts), Singapore noodle (yummy! Comes with baby shrimp, chicken, rice noodles, stir fried with curry), and their Dahl (sp) chicken which was also yummy (tender and spicy). It's very busy here, so it can be rather loud. But I don't really mind. The prices are high, around 10+ per dish but then you're in downtown Seattle. As for the service: I have had GREAT service here.

  • Christine V.

A-mazing! I know, it isn't authentic but, this is a great place for anyone who doesn't want oily poor meat quality Chinese food. The ingredients are fresh, less oily and healthier. They give you the option for brown rice which is also good for the health conscious type. Yummm...I always come out wanting more. The lemon pepper shrimp is BOMB! I never leave unsatisfied with this dish. Shrimp with candied walnuts and crispy honey shrimp are super delish! The mongolian beef is really good too. For a side dish, I've only had spinach and that was yummy. They also have mini dessert alternatives for any sweet tooth who only has room for one more bite. Mmmm...strawberry cheesecake and the chocolate "great wall" are soooo good! Sorry for those people who got slower service. But all resturants have those moments. I went for dinner on a Friday night and got my food in less than 10 or so minutes. Maybe its because we sat at the Bar. I dunno. We had several servers who were super helpful too. They were all so nice. But I've never had a problem. Way to go PF Changs, you won me over!

P.F. Changs, we meet at last. We ran into you by happenstance and so glad we did. Nice way to end a very special extended weekend in the newest city I love....Seattle. P.F., you hit all marks...taste, service, portions and ambiance. The hostess, server and manager (?) Jeremiah (cougar growwwwwl) were wonderful. We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed: o Pork Dumplings w/ Spicy Dipping Sauce - Muy Delicios-O o Hot and Sour Soup - Exactly that! o Dan Dan Noodles - YUM Noodles and Chicken in a Spicy Brown Gravy o Chang's Spicy Chicken - Tender Loving, Fried and Spicy I'm convinced the F in your name stands for FIRE cuz we downed the ice water as fast as they could fill it back up. Lovely, lovely dinner. See you again in a couple of weeks in Utah!

What a shame that they only have three stars. I've only been here twice, ever, but it's never been bad. Lettuce wraps are divine, I don't know what it is about them that I love so much, but it's basically Chinese crack for this girl. The real super star on the last visit was our server. I came in for lunch on the eve of a big interview, and it couldn't have gone more perfectly. Perhaps its not the most original fare, and I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but I have a sweet spot for this place.

As anyone who's read any of my reviews knows, I am a stickler for service. While I may give a place a second chance if the service is good but the food is not, the reverse is not true. So I have to sing the praises of PF Chang's; we had the best waitress I've had in a long time. You have to love it when your drink glass is never empty for more than 90 seconds; she was SO on the ball. Happily, the food was as good as the service; we received generous portions of delicious food & despite our hearty appetites, we weren't able to polish everything off. Better to have some left, than not have enough! Would definitely come back to this location the next time we're in Seattle; a very enjoyable dining experience.

I give this restaurant four stars for the lettuce wraps, the Mongolian Beef, the extensive gluten free menu, and the consistently excellent service. I'm not giving it five stars simply because not every menu item is excellent. The lettuce wrap appetizer is so fresh, crunchy, savory and delicious that you could make a meal of it. The Mongolian Beef is made with top-quality beef that is slightly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with shoots of green onion that balances out the rich flavor. We go to P.F. Changs because three out of six of my family are gluten intolerant, and Changs has an enormous gluten free menu that includes appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Gluten-free dishes are presented on special plates so that you can easily recognize them. We all appreciate how friendly and accommodating the servers are, allowing us to relax and put our food allergies on the back burner. That, my friends, is a rare treat for us when we're dining out. I'm obliged to write that the Moo Goo Gai Pan is pretty bland, as well as a few other entrees. If you're looking for a five-star menu, this probably isn't your first choice. But if you're looking for a close second, awesome service, and a safe haven for your food allergies, look no further.

A friend and I went to this place just for a couple of cocktails. We ended up ordering their PF-X, which is a mango flavored vodka cocktail. It was tasty, but WAY too sweet. Wouldn't get that again. I also tried the pear mojito which was ok, but again, much too sweet. So we stuck to the tried and true - Blueberry Stoli with Cranberry, and a splash of Sprite. We also ordered their Sichuan style asparagus, which actually wasn't too bad. I've heard bad things about the food at this place. Being Chinese, and also coming from Hawaii, which is a mecca for authentic Chinese food, I will have to try it another time. They don't have a happy hour at all, which they should because it's not crowded in there at all!!!

Three of us went to P.F. Chang's at Westlake Center expecting a great meal. We ordered a lot of food so we would have some to take home with us. Bad idea. We ordered a mug of hot water with lemon. The mug was dirty on both the inside and the outside. We ordered a martini. The glass had lipstick all around the edge. The sweet and sour chicken had so much ginger in it that the entire dish tasted like Comet cleanser. The broccoli beef was so salty we couldn't eat it. The coconut curry vegetables were barely cooked; the broccoli was so hard we had trouble cutting it with a knife and the sauce was almost non-existent. The pad Thai was tasteless and stuck together in a mass because there was almost no sauce. On the positive side, our waiter was very nice. If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. This is my last visit to a P.F. Chang's. I will never visit this restaurant chain again. I encourage you to find a different place to eat.

We were walking around aimlessly quite lost, tired achy feet and hungry after shopping all day at Pike Place Market and trying to find the Westlake Station. We both looked at each other when we spied PF Chang and decided to head in. We already have one of these in Hawaii but when you are tired, worn down and hungry, even a restaurant chain is a welcome sight! This location was willing to substitute some items for us, like making an eggplant dish with tofu instead of chicken or beef and making sure the food did not contain peanut oil (allergies). The Kale Quinoa dip was just meh (weird flavors and textures), as was the Garlic Noodles (too sweet, no flavor and overcooked, mushy). Garlic Greenbeans and the Eggplant Tofu were delicious. Our waiter, Andrew was amazing and attentive. We made sure his manager knew it too. Cost for three people, dinner and a bottle of wine $80.00 without tip.

What just happened, we ate here during happy our and ended up ordered about 10 things and they all tasted great. The staff loves dirty plates, they bussed our table atleast 6 times they were on top off it. Lettuce wrap you so good, general tso you dirty dog you, crab won-ton so good.

What you expect out of a chain restaurant on food. The waiter did make an impression when we ordered waters, his face cringed.... But all changed after we ordered more than one dish per person.

  • SuAnn B.

My friend and I were here for a late lunch last Thursday at 1:40pm. There were only a handful of tables including ours and no one else. We ordered four dishes. One came out only after a 40 minute wait for it. And the remainder came out about 35 minutes after that. When I questioned our server why the first dish took so long to come out and the remainder took even longer, he replied, "the dishes are made in two separate kitchens and the one of them is backed up". So the first dish became cold because my friend felt impolite to eat it before mine came out, then when the remaining three dishes came out, they were all not to par with PF Chang's standard for quality and presentation. The salt and pepper calamari was over-fried and drenched in oil-like someone poured oil all over the dish. The garlic noodles were swimming-SWIMMING in sauce, pardon me, I did not order soup with my noodles. Lastly, the chicken tacos looked like someone just through what they thought was supposed to go into a taco and lets not mention that the chicken came out without sauce on it at all! When I asked the server (AGAIN), how does this even happened when the restaurant had only 5 tables being waited on, he acknowledged that the food presentation and quality was sub-par however, he replied, "well, our policy is to serve the food even if it looks this way, rather than to make the customer wait." Really? I told him that as a server, he needed to circumvent this negative exchange that we were having by preventing food like this from even being served. Anyway, the manager was called and he acknowledged the lack of quality of the food before us and had everything re-made. My point here is, when you have waited almost an hour and a half to have your food get to your table and to have had the quality of the food presented in such a poor way, that the bill should have been taken care of by the restaurant. The manager only took off $17 for the 4 dishes we had. This was poorly handled and I was not impressed but the outcome.

It was like going to Hells Kitchen without Gordon Ramsey and why would you do that? Who would have thought on a Tuesday night after 1 1/2 hours all 7 diners would have received from our full dinner order was 4 appetizers (served by 2's several minutes apart) and 2 cups of soup. One member of our party watched as another table was seated, ordered, got their appetizers before us and got their main course before we finally had to leave. We had told the "assistant manager" we had theater tickets and we were time sensitive. When we left 1 1/2 hours later we were informed our main courses were still 5 tables back in line in the kitchen and the only comped item was a soda. And it was probably because he forgot we ordered it. And 7 people left running down the street trying to beat the curtain call. Something had to have gone wrong with our order but no one admitted anything. Just an "I'm so sorry" and smiles as he handed me the bill. The bill. I can't believe they charged for the soup from a prix fixe meal. Not returning! Ever!

Food, ambience and the server was great.. Enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Giving one star less because the cooling was not working and it felt very hot inside.. Had to specially request to open door to get some fresh air.

Have always been a fan of PF Changs and try to stop in at least a couple of times a year. After this last visit taking them off the rotation. Went to the PF Chang in Westlake last Sunday. Went in for an early lunch and there was no one else there (should have been a sign..). We weren't too hungry so decided to order an old favorite and try one of their new "small plate" items. Was pretty sure they couldn't screw up the chicken lettuce wraps but I was wrong. First, the portion was a lot smaller than it used to be. Second, they used to mix the sauce that comes with it at the table and you could choose the spice level. Now they bring it "pre-made" and it was bland and flavorless. The plate had more rice noodles than chicken. We didn't even need all the lettuce because of the lack of filling. We also ordered the kale and quinoa dip. The dip was COLD! When we took a bite we were a bit thrown. When I asked the waitress about it, she said it came that way and the menu stated that. After checking the menu again, it definitely didn't say it was a cold dip. Would have thought the waitress would have mentioned the full bowl when she brought the check, but not a word. Other than bringing the check, no other contact. All for a place trying a new direction, but this is not the way for them to go. Bummed to have lost a favorite.

3.5 stars. P.F. Chang's is located right in the heart of downtown. It also is one of the places that offers modern ambiance to go with Chinese food. The food here is pretty good. I especially like there's a big menu (both food and drink) that you can pick from. They also have a pretty good selection of gluten-free food, which is hard to find elsewhere in Seattle at other Chinese restaurants. The décor is great and the atmosphere is fun, inviting for people to mingle/chat around. I took off 1 star because I felt that service could have been better. We were a large party, but felt that we didn't really get as great service as we expected. For example, if we didn't order enough food, the waiter didn't tell us. I had to ask if the food would be enough; also when serving X sets of food, they didn't think to carefully strategically places the same dishes far enough for everyone in a large party to enjoy. Some of the same dishes were placed close to another, so it was a bit awkward for some people to ask to pass the dishes. Another -0.5 star was just the price. It's pricier here than what you could get at other traditional restaurant, obviously!

This will be my last outing here. We ordered the dumplings, honey chicken, sweet and sour pork and the pepper steak. I have not been here since they opened and it's just not as good as I remember. The dumplings were like I remember Chinese with a slight twist of red pepper. The steak also was good it had a good spice and was tender, but the sweet and sour pork and honey chicken, Panda Express has Items on their menu that are better. The portion size was very small for the price and the service was mediocre. There are better places in the Seattle area to eat.

We came here for dinner and had the Changs Dinner for Two which in my opinion is a good deal. $43 you get two soups, an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert. I had the egg drop soup which was delicious (my husband really liked his hot and sour soup too). It came out just hot enough to devour right away. We got dumplings for our app and crispy honey chicken/mongolian beef for our entrees. The dumplings were delicious as was the honey chicken however the mongolian beef was very salty. Overall the experience food wise would have been a 3-4 star but I'm giving a 5 star because of our server, I think his name was Richie. Managers, take note. THIS GUY IS A ROCKSTAR. Friendly, personable, accurate with our order. He was quick to check in with us, took the hint when we were in the middle of a conversation, packed up our order to go. HE. WAS. GREAT. I would come back to this PF Changs again instead of the Bellevue one (which is much closer to our house) just to sit in his sections. If a manager is reading this, please please, tell him he's awesome.

I've only eaten at PF Changs once (because I had a free gift card) and will never return nor recommend it to anyone. I tried the stir-fried eggplant with white rice and coconut curry vegetables with brown rice. Both had mediocre flavor about on par with what one would expect from a chain americanized-asian restaurant. The stir-fried eggplant was oily and the coconut curry sauce was watered down. I was especially disappointed that they gave me a small serving of white rice (1/2 cup) and an extra small serving of brown rice (1/4 cup). They neglected to tell me that my gift card could only be used once so the residual money left on it went to waste (read: to their profit and my loss). They really should have told me about this policy prior to swiping my card.

Did lunch here today and had a great meal. The short rib appetizers were really really good; not kidding. Also ordered one of my favorite Chinese dishes, broccoli beef, and my buddy said it was the best he has ever had. It is probably over priced for Chinese food but delivers a nice atmosphere.

It's PF Chang's-- it's chain Americanized Chinese food, not authentic International District Chinese food. That said, you can't get those addictive chicken lettuce wraps in the International District, either, can you? We came here late one Friday night, and the only flaw in the service was at the host's station; nobody was there and it took us almost ten minutes to get a table in a practically empty restaurant. Once we got seated, our waiter was great. We orded lettuce wraps (of course), Chang's Spicy Chicken, and Orange Peel Beef, and everything was good. The chicken didn't come out "extra spicy" as requested, but that's normal, unfortunately. If you want adventurous and authentic Chinese food, don't come here. If you want good-quality Americanized Chinese and lettuce wraps, you're in the right place. Note: the entrance to the restaurant is inside the mall, which is not intuitive if you're coming in late at night after the stores are closed.

I have such a like/dislike relationship with this place. Good service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. This is a great spot to have a comfortable late lunch or dinner with a friend or few. The menu is diverse, and it has something for everybody. The prices are a tad high, but it's still affordable for most; save for a few expensive dishes hiding on the menu. Unfortunately, the food is just.. bland. I've eaten here a few times, hoping it was just a fluke, but if anything, the flavor gets less remarkable each time. I typically order the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and you'd think, with vegetables and dripping in sauce, it'd be loaded with flavor; but this is consistently bland and dull. The rice is A-OK, but it's dry. I'm a big fan of rice, but theirs doesn't ever make me hunger for more. This is a place I'd recommend more for the social atmosphere (the diversity of the menu, the great location, the setting) than the actual food. The food is so-so, especially for their prices. Seattle has better, more authentic places than this, if you do some exploring. But if you're in the area and you need a convenient dinner spot to sit and unwind, this is a decent place to suit that need.

Would have given 2 stars. The extra one is for offering a GF menu. Ordered the Singapore Street Noodle which I would advise to steer clear of. The chef over cooked the rice noodles or he gave me the crumbs at the bottom of the bag. Not sure what I am talking about? Its constancy is equivalent to over cooked spaghetti noodles you would serve to your toodler citing it is a choking hazard.

Love this place! I ordered a carry out and it took a little while to come out so the manager, Dan, comped my meal for me! Great customer service! Not only is their food the best but that type of service will keep me coming back! Thanks, Dan!

It is one of life's mysteries why people come here to eat. Use the restroom or to ask for directions I'd understand, but to eat their food? I walk by this place all the time since I live a few blocks away and it's always packed. I just don't get it. The food is awful, service is slow, and it's expensive. Just go upstairs to the food court, better food for way cheaper.

PF Changs is faux Chinese fusion which caters to non-Asians who don't know any better. Have been here multiple times and it's always the same. This time, I went to the bar during happy hour before a free movie screening. It wasn't bad, but they didn't have much of a selection. The only saving grace was the service. The bartenders were friendly and everything came out fairly quick. I won't come back to eat, but will drink here lol.

What a disappointment. Order was wrong, server was forgetful, host was rude. I only go to chains when I need consistency, you generally know exactly what to expect...but this one breaks the rules. A disgrace to P.F. Chang's generally pleasurable experiences.

I can not even accurately express how impressed I am with server Ross's service. His timing was superb, he dropped off both starters and entrees himself, he was quick and friendly about the check, boxed up our leftovers in front of us like a pro and of course was very very friendly. Ross took the time to strike up a conversation with us even though he was very busy with other tables and made sure that we were happy with our meal! I was a server so I appreciated all the little things he did like clearing off appetizer plates before bringing out entrees. Coming to PF changs to talk to Ross was the best part of my day because he put me in such a great mood with his positive attitude even though he was hard at work. I will for sure be returning to this location just to see Ross again! GREAT job employing such a charismatic fun and diligent guy in your restaurant! :)

We stopped at PF Changs before attending a concert. We thought we'd grab something from the Happy Hour menu in the bar. Our waiter, Carson, was excellent. He was prompt and friendly. We had the dumplings, ahi tuna and lettuce wraps. We also had a few cocktails. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were very happy with our visit and would highly recommend it.

This is my least favorite kind of Chinese food ... or I guess I should say American food pretending to be Chinese food. Being a Chinese American, I'm actually okay with Americanized versions of Chinese food, as long as it's inexpensive and good quality. However, this place offers neither of those things. I went here once for a formal dinner. I suppose the food was okay, but I would never pay such high prices for mediocre food that does not even remotely resemble authentic Chinese food. Luckily, I came here with an ex-boyfriend and his fraternity, and he insisted upon paying despite my protests, so I didn't have to shell out any money for such a poor experience.

This is me and my wife's favorite place to eat out at when we are in Seattle. It has a great atmosphere (dark but with soft illimunation), friendly servers, and the food is great for a chain restaurant. For starters, I always get the lettuce wraps. Then for the main course I usually get the Asian marinated steak or the Kung Pao chicken. My wife gets either the broccoli beef or the spicy tofu. We always get the fried rice and chow mein noodles. Mmm, my mouth waters just writing about it. I'd recommend this place for everyone to try at least once. Just try to focus on the food/service and ignore all the negatives associated with it being a chain restaurant.

I booked the place over phone before going there and found a table reserved for me. The waitress was courteous and the food was tasty. Before going there, I read some not so good review about this chain restaurant. But I really liked the food, atmosphere and service. I am going there again.

Bad chinese food, and you should trust me because I am a Chinese!!! The atmosphere is over-all good(red and black color interior and decor), the tables are all very closely arranged. The food there sucks, we've order 3 dishes and non of them are any good at all. There is no need to go there unless you think Panda Express has awesome food...then you can expect a mediocre dinning experience.

What Happened!!!!! We have been coming here every year for the past several years at the holiday season and boy how it has changed and not for the better. First I would like to say we did have great service. We were an hour late getting to the restaurant due to horrible traffic and they still honored our reservation which I thought was great. Now to the food and drinks. First I will start with the first round of drinks that were good however the second round my Mai Tai's had no booze in it. Maybe they think they put enough booze in the first round that you wont notice on the second round. So we sent the second round back. Not to mention that their drinks are expensive so they better put some booze in them. Then the soup was good but then we ordered the wonderful lettuce wraps however what happened with those...the lettuce is normally nice and crisp and this time it was wilted and not nearly as good. Then she brings our entrées of the spicy chicken which was good and also the sweet and sour pork but that was more on the grisly side and not to mention that the portions were really small. I mean they looked like they were small appetizers and after 100.00 later we were both hungry when we left and stopped at Mcdonald's on the way home. They did give a piece of chocolate cake which was probably the best part of the meal however after this experience I highly doubt we would return...Very disappointing!!!!!

Buddha feast=steamed broccoli and rice with 5 small slivers of tofu... Less than a quarter inch thick by an inch long. Very disappointed with their idea of vegetarian.. No flavor and skimpy portion of protein. When I was brought more tofu I was told they didn't charge for the "extra"

Being in the American Northwest for almost a week, my boyfriend and I were getting full of seafood and were craving anything other than seafood. We came here because we like P.F. Chang's and were very surprised by the view! We were able to look out into the market square in Seattle and people-watch. We ordered a bottle of wine and our food was great. We were anticipating our meals to be spicy (because that's what the menu said) but sadly we were let down. Maybe it's spicy to people from Seattle, but for a couple that is from Texas- it did not even register on our "spicy radar."

We went to downtown Seattle PF Changs and it was the worst experience. The service was very slow,we were in the bar so maybe that was the problem, though I don't think so. While we were waiting for our food I watched a waitress take a dirty glass and rinse it in water then use a filthy towel to dry it off and gave it to a waiter with a bottle of wine for a customer. After 45mins we finally got our food, after asking for it, and my husbands was dried up and old looking, where as mine had RAW chicken in it. We got up and left and will never go back. The bar was soo dirty, it has to be terrible management. It's really too bad.

I called PF Changs today to place a large order for my work group. Though I was placed on hold several times, the woman that helped me was very nice and knowledgeable. She was also totally honest with me when I ordered the moo goo gai pan -- telling me it was bland and got returned all the time! I switched the order for something else and really appreciated her honesty. Before I called with some questions, I was placing my order online and their system was very user friendly. I'll probably update again after our lunch next week.

A waste of everybody's time- trying too much with their menus. Gluten free? Soups, starters, entrees? Too many items; definitely trying to please everybody and failing at it. Crab wontons, egg drop soup, both were very sad. I could get considerably better for considerably less. This franchise is a joke to Asian food. I hear there are some good items on the menu, whatever.

    (2)

I really appreciate the gluten-free menu, and how conscientious they are about it. The gluten-free egg drop soup is really good, but unfortunately everything else I've had has been really mediocre.

I went to PF Chang's once recently for their $7.95 lunch specials. I've never really liked PF Chang's, but I figured for $7.95 for lunch and leftovers, I could try it. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, which was shrimp over rice with eggs, black beans and mushrooms and covered in a white sauce. It looked like somebody threw up all over my plate, and you know what? It really did taste like puke over minute-rice. While the portion was large for a lunch special, I didn't want any of it. The only thing edible was the fortune cookie at the end. Advice? Skip PF Chang's and go to Shanghai Garden in the ID. Lunch specials are under $8, you get large portions, and it actually has flavor!

I love PF Changs, I travel to all the locations nearby. Usually I am in Lynnwood, but this is my downtown stop. I've taken to having it on my school lunch breaks. Seat myself in the bar, get super fast service in and out fast. I'm loving my warrior rewards card as well. My faves are the ma po tofu, the vegetarian lettuce wraps, a side of garlic spinach and a side of asparagus. Yum, Yum, Yum!!! Food here is much better than the mall food upstairs and way less stressful. Beware the fun people you encounter on the way in and out of this restuarant. On a side note bar has a seperate entrance if you want to avoid entering the mall at all costs, or you can just sneak by the hostesses.

As with most chain restaurants, there are no real surprises on the menu. I think the food is fine...it's not horrible, but definitely nothing fantastic. The food served at this place is Chinese food with a modern twist. The food isn't very traditional so if you are in the mood for good-old Chinese food, this isn't the place for you...if you're looking for something that's a bit adventurous, this also isn't that place. I think this place is fine for office lunches or if you're with people who aren't foodies, but if you're looking for great cuisine, you can go elsewhere. The one thing I like is that there's a modern vibe in the restaurant that makes the place a bit more interesting.

My mom and I dropped by for happy hour today, and there was really nothing happy about it. Our waiter failed to mention that our food would come out at different times, so my dumplings showed up a good ten minutes before my mom's did. I don't know about everyone else, but I hate eating at different times as the rest of the table. The waiter apparently had no plans to bring our check by; we finished our food and sat there for another ten minutes before it dawned on him to ask if we were done. The only reason they get one star is because of the manager, Trina. She listened to our story and very graciously offered to comp our meal, gave us her card, and said to ask for her specifically the next time we came in. It was also absurdly cold in there.

We visited yesterday. 'Found the staff pleasant, prompt and accommodating. The food ... well ... I'd had the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer in New Jersey and really liked it. The Seattle version was nearly identical and very good. Crisp iceberg, minced chicken and veggies with a nice complexity to the seasonings, served over crisp noodles. I wish I'd had a couple of orders of that to fill me up. Instead, I ordered chicken Phat Thai. The chicken chunks were dry and tasteless. The sauce was citrusy, one dimensional and unpleasant. My partner had Kung Pau Chicken. It seemed warmed-over. The chicken had been batter-dipped and fried. There was a subtle hint of seasoning but, especially for that dish, it was way underplayed in my view. No sauce to speak of and its only other component was a few reconstituted peppers on the plate. Just a bland deal overall. We ordered a side of asparagus; that was very good. Sauteed, garlicky ... yum. To sum it up: the lettuce wrap thing's a winner; the rest of the fare mediocre-minus. Our tab was $43, cheap for the volume of food we got. But there are plenty of Asian Fusion places with much better food that costs about the same.

Spicy Chicken, Egg Drop Soup and Lo Mein. It was truely amazing. Service was quick and polite, our drinks were never empty. Sooooo Good. All the meat was high quality. The atmosphere was very nice. Dish's averaged 10-13 a plate and feed about two.

The service here has always been great. The food is okay. I really like the ambiance of the restaurant with it's dark woods and soft lighting. I love that they have a gluten free menu. It seems like the offerings are getting a bit larger. What I don't like (and not really the fault of the restaurant) is that the restrooms are downstairs. It's kind of creepy going down there when the restaurant is getting ready to close and no one else is down there. We liked the flirty waitress we had. Lots of personality and that really adds to the dining experience. It's right across the street from the monorail in the Westlake Center so super convenient. Don't have to pay $13 bucks for parking unless you want to. 3.5 stars.

MAN! I was SO surprised by how good this place is! We were seated promptly, our waiter was polite and so eager to serve and the food was delicious! HOWEVER- I was only impressed by the appetizers. Those were cheap, creative, well portioned, fresh and quite delicious! the entrees.... I wasn't very impressed by those. In fact, I wished I ordered only a table's worth of appetizers.

This review was done on 9/16 but was not able to enter the actual date. Not my best experience here. The service was slow and some of the dishes were disappointing, especially when factoring in the premium charged for some fairly ordinary offerings. The lettuce wraps were the best of the night. The salt and pepper shrimp was good but was one of the more expensive dishes I have had at PFC--17.75. The Ginger chicken and broccoli was lukewarm and the sauce was underwhelming and disappointing. The chow fun was OK but the beef wad really odd tasting. I did not get sick from it, it just did not have the flavor that I am accustomed to from beef. Small point but the thought did stick with me and I don't think I would do beef with chow fun again. I might just go meatless on this dish. In my travels I usually have the opportunity to dine at a number of PFCCB in an umber of places across the country. I have eaten here before but simply found the food at this one to be really underwhelming and probably the most disappointing for the money of any PFCCB that I have visited. Usually I applaud them for the high level of consistency in their food from site to site but this one was just not as good as usual. For the money (more than 60 dollars for 2 people) I am beginning to question the value of this restaurant chain which usually transcends its chain pedigree. Perhaps the cook was just lame tonight, or perhaps it was our server who was really slow and not particular polite when I asked him if they validate parking. What a crazy question. I don't think I will go to this one again. The one over in Bellevue is much better.

Make reservations if you're coming here, it pays off! The service was decent here and the food was quite tasty. It's an American spin on authentic Asian style cuisine. We had the dinner for two special which started with an egg or spicy soup and then had an option of various appetizers. We had lettuce wraps which were very flavourful and provided sauces to add as well. Secondly, we ordered a spicy chicken dish similar to a sweet and sour chicken dish but was slightly less deep fried than your average Chinese restaurant dish. Also ordered the Mongolian beef and onions which was tender but salty since it was doused in a sauce with soy sauce. The mixed drinks were strong, the bar tender must have been feeling generous. 9 dollars per mix drink. Finished up with blueberry cheesecake which was small but enough since the entire meal was difficult to finish anyways. Since it was a birthday they paid for dessert.

I usually enjoy my experience here, the waiters are nice and so is the manager but today (saturday) when i went in at around 8:00pm, The guy who registers us and takes us to the table was awful. He was so conceited,a rude glare, and he had this terrible I'm-better-than-you attitude. i didn't appreciate his shirt being unbuttoned. i don't want to see that! I'm seriously not going to go in again if i see that rude bearded guy at the front door next time.

So, it's 4:30pm and Superfriend, Compadre and I were starving and on our way to work. Compadre suggested this place because she likes their Mongolian Beef and Lettuce Wraps. So, we enter, tell the waitress that we have to be gone by 5:30, and give her our order within a few minutes. And, then, we wait. And wait. And wait. This is the point at which Compadre confesses that she and the man patient enough to love her had recently been subjected to a similar experience at this very same establishment. After we chastised her for getting us into this mess, we spoke with the manager who graciously comped the meal that had to be boxed up to go. The lettuce wraps were good but not worth that ridiculous wait.

I've heard about PF Chang's for quite some time now but have only been there recently. We got there 5 mins before happy hour was over so were able to at least get our drink order in. We ordered the salt & pepper calamari (I get this at every chinese restaurant I go to. my fave chinese dish ever!!) as an appetizer and it was pretty good. We then ordered the sesame chicken and dan dan noodles for entrees and those were pretty good as well. I also had a hot and sour soup for myself and that was ok. I've had better ones where they had more ingredients such as egg, mushrooms, pork, etc. Overall, food was pretty good but a little pricey. Service was very good.

Right in Westlake Center, with a nice atmosphere -- but the food is blah -- or more precisely, has too much sodium, to much corn starch or the like ... just not good. You can tell they use good ingredients -- the beef with broccoli had really good quality meat. But the sauce was only a notch above grocery-store bottled sauce, just awful actually. The hot and sour soup had little flavor and lots of salt (and lots of MSG if my headache after was any indication). As for the service, it was overly coached, a little too much in your face. This is a restaurant with a central location, and a nice facility (though the bathrooms are oddly down three flights of stairs), but where the food and the service don't measure up. Take the time to walk three blocks to Wild Ginger or other nearby establishments -- you'll be much happier.

Food is ok but service was really slow. If you don't order right away it takes forever for the waitress to come back and take your order. Then when you are done eating it takes her even longer to bring you your check. We had to wait 30 minutes for the check. The food is also over priced for what you get.

    (2)
  • Marshall B.

Good food, good service. A little bit spendy for what you get, but it is very tastey which helps make up for that. I'll go back, but it definitely doesn't fit into any sort of top 10 list.

Holiday gift shopping in downtown Seattle 3 days before Christmas makes one hungry... so my spouse and I ducked into PF Changs for some late lunch. Place was jammed, but we scored a nice table in the bar right in front of the windows- great view of the street to people watch. Food is not bad. PF Changs is like the "Olive Garden of Chinese Food". Not authentic. but tasty... maybe they put lots of MSG, or whatever...... Had lettuce wraps, Cashew Chicken stir fry, and calamari. Food pretty good. Service was nice, pleasant, but a little slow. Prices a little higher than I would wish. Atmosphere was nice. Again, nothing authentic or to write home about, but not bad. It satisfied our hunger, we enjoyed a pleasant lunch, and off we went to finish our shopping, fortified and reinvigorated so we could fight the crowds !!

The P.F. stands for "poop food." Poop Food Changs. If you like to eat poop, have I got a treat for you! It's pretty overpriced. It tasted like the same ingredients they used at my dorm cafeteria. I guess the next time I want some Americanized Chinese food I'll just go to the I-District. I give a star for service, since our server seemed like a pretty cool, genuine type of bro.

Okay first off, this place have a very nice decor. Next the service was top notch and the drinks are very well made. The food on the other hand was good but over priced. The only reason i gave it four star cause the service was great! I had me the garlic noodles, mongolian beef, 5 spice chicken, lettuce wraps and honey walnut prawns. All the dishes was very scrumptious =D

So, PF Chang's food is the same at every location I have been to and we're big fans of the chicken lettuce wraps and chicken fried rice. It's our regular order. What sets this location apart is Jason whose behind the bar almost every night. He is a great bartender! He's attentive, offers suggestions for things and places in Seattle (which helps since we are new to the area), pours a great drink and makes you feel like a regular. His coworkers have also been great but I can't recall all their names. The service in the bar area is amazing and I totally recommend sitting there.

Our brother-in-law warned us before coming to Westlake Center. He said, "I saw a lot of tattoos and dyed hair." And then we reminded him he lives in New York City! Seriously, tattoos and dyed hair are so inocuous - plus, this is kind of an upscale shopping mall and I don't even remember seeing tattoos and dyed hair outside this PF Chang's. Foodwise this was pretty much like any PF Chang's. There was good Kung Pao on our visit. I'm not sure if I've had Mu Shu Chicken at PF Chang's before but it was exceptional - possibly the best I've had.

Sometimes a girl needs some deep fried mouth candy. And sometimes she needs some Orange Peel Chicken and some Lettuce Wraps. And it's nice to have it somewhere that provides the option of having brown rice so a girl can tell herself that it's all going to even out on account of the whole grain to grease ratio. This is when a girl hits up PF Chang's on whacked out Friday in March where it has been sunny, snowed, hailed and, of course, rained - all in the space of a few short hours. A Friday when her hormones have created a situation in which a girl is really bothered by the fact that it is FUCKING SNOWING IN MARCH. LATE MARCH. "WHERE IS THE MOTHER FUCKING LAMB???" a girl might ask. While a girl's pal might not receive the soda she ordered until the end of the meal, causing a girl to bully the server for the comp - that's really OK. A girl in this state is only too happy to bully. However, a girl is not giving up more than three stars to a chain with practices such as mixing a salt ridden little sauce at the table that is deemed "good on everything", where the server is overwhelmed to the point of abandonment once the entrees are dropped, and waters are never refilled. But a girl does love her some Orange Peel Chicken and will probably be back the next time these or similar elements are present in a girl's day.

Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Why didn't I listen to the reviews? The food seriously is deserving of a half star. I couldn't imagine it getting any worse; I think I would have enjoyed a Whopper better - or even Chinese from Safeway (this is not hyperbole). The most recent Kung Pao chicken we had was at Rocking Wok, which I consider to be dive-y. I had a craving for Kung Pao chicken and thought "Well, PF Chang's can't be any worse than Rocking Wok and at least it's not a dive." Well, I've learned a hard lesson; hard as in the hard time I'm going to have digesting this tripe. Cons: - Less than clean dishes and glasses -The dishes from the starter, the entrée and the dessert were god awful. Just because you're a chain doesn't mean you don't have to try. I mean even Outback serves edible dishes. How hard is it to make decent Kung Pao chicken? Or calamari for goodness sake. - Desserts served in a tall shot glass - Our bill for two came out to about $52. I can name 2 dozen places off the top of my head where our money would have been a thousand times better spent. Pros: - Nice staff (My 2nd star is for the better-than-decent service we received.) - Comfy booth Come on America - let's raise the bar a bit and stop patronizing places like this. Oh and who takes photos of food at PF Chang's? Is this considered crime evidence?

The service was good and the menu was extensive with a lot of variety. Food was good, but for the price you pay there are other locations that are just as good and a lot cheaper.

A Diabetics nightmare, PF Changs IS deceptively delicious. However, if you look at the nutritional information on most of their dishes you will see why. The amount of sugar they add will make your teeth hurt. How much sugar does a beef and broccoli dish really need? Not impressed. Not worth it.

While sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in the middle of my own drool because I'm dreaming about their Chicken Lettuce Wraps and how fan-frickin'-delish they are, I must give the PF only 3 stars. While the wait-staff is very attentive, they better be because PF's is wicked expensive. The portions are large enough to share between two people, but if I'm going to spend that much money on lunch, I'd be much better off dropping into the bus tunnel and taking a bus to the International District to get three times as much (actually authentic) chinese food for the same price. But if you eat at PF's, do yourself a favor and ask that the chef goes easy on the salt. Yikes!

If you want chinese food this is not for you. Food quality is just ok. Service very average. We went there twice and that was enough.

The space & decor is impressive, especially since it's in a shopping mall which of course is a better alternative than the food court grub. Gets a bit loud with every sound echoing so not the most romantic for a date. Sad to say but I feel like this place is a rip off of Asian food, and it's waaay too greasy to eat. My entrees (broccoli beef + stir fry noodles) were swimming in oil, the portions are small, and tastes all mediocre. You're safer sticking with Panda Express for less! I recently saw commercials that they now offer their entrees in your local grocer's frozen foods aisles ready in 10 minutes or less. Not a good sign folks!

My mistake was not doing research on restaurants near our hotel. That said, this is the only place that was familiar and was just down the block. Second mistake, it was just after seven on a Sunday night. The front desk guy said it would be about 20-30 minutes, so we waited, third mistake. Forty minutes later we are still waiting (fourth mistake) and we ask how much longer. The guy said just one more before us...30 seconds later we get seated. I'm pretty sure they just forgot about us. We got a booth which we liked, noticed that there were at least five tables that were empty. WHF? We get menus then five minutes later the waiter comes to take our orders, he is pleasant enough. The place is party central, there's either one humongous party of like 40 or maybe two parties of 20, but they are hooting up a storm. Nothing against partying but that's not the atmosphere we wanted to eat in. We had salt & pepper calamari which was okay, then shared the mongolian beef which we both enjoyed. Would not go there again.

I've been know to rate an eating establishment low due to poor service, but when that happens I always make a commitment to return and try it again as people have off days and sometimes stuff just gets messed up. In the case of P.F. Chang's I'm going to make an exception and never return. It was truly the wost dinning experience I think I've ever had. Let me just start this tale of woe from the beginning.... We came to Chang's because we were celebrating the birthday of a friend and this was one of his favorite places to eat. My wife and I arrived early and were seated. Great! Lets have a drink before the birthday boy arrives. 15 minutes later we still had not seen or heard from our wait staff. After 20 minutes the other two members of the party arrived and we had yet to even have a greeting from our server. (I think its important to inject at this point that the restaurant was not busy. In fact a number of tables sat empty and no one seemed to be rushing or having a real demanding day... ). Once we were all there it took another 10 minutes for the server to approach the table and take our drink orders. Great! Now we are getting down to business. She then said she would be right back to take our appetizer order once she put our drink order in. 10 minutes later we still didn't have our drinks nor had we seen our server so that we could order any food. About 5 minutes later she showed up and started mixing some dipping sauce for us (not that we had anything to dip in it.) She then took our appetizer and entree order and said our drinks would be right up (45 minutes after we were sat down.) A few minutes later our drinks did arrive, delivered to the table by a different wait staff. Our appetizers did arrive shortly after that, delivered by a different wait person. At that time I asked if I could have eating utensils and was told that they would arrive shortly. 10 minutes later our server stopped by to see how the appetizers where and stated that she was happy to see that we got our drinks as she had just stopped by the bar and didn't see them... I again asked for eating utensils and the server said she would get me some. (At this point I asked to borrow a fork from my wife). Shortly after this our main meal arrived. One of the entrees was completely wrong and white rice was delivered when brown rice was asked for. The person bringing the food appeared baffled and said they would bring the right dish out quickly. About 10 or 15 minutes later the correct dish and some chop sticks arrived. During that time the server stopped by and stated, "Oh, I could have sworn you ordered the chicken. My hearing must be bad today." She returned after I got my entree and we asked if we could have plates to eat from. These did come quickly. She then asked about another round of drinks, which we quickly ordered. About 10 minutes later three of the four drinks came to the table (one was a Coke which came with no straw). The fourth drink never arrived, even after we asked about it. At this point I think the server finally figured out that things were not going well so she asked us if we wanted dessert. When we all said no, she made a joke about not doing a good job and we all agreed with her. At this point she said she was going to follow up with the manager and see if she could comp us something. She returned about 10 minutes later (With the straw for the Coke) and said that the manager was going to comp the entree that was delivered to the table 10 minutes late and give us a free dessert (which none of us wanted). At this point she took our credit cards and walked away (this was our finial meeting). A few minutes later the manager approached our table and asked how our dinning experience was. We informed him that it didn't go well at which point he said he was going to comp us our drinks in addition to the one entree. (He did not however, offer to get the missing fourth drink.)

Kind a hesitant with just 1 star but I have to be honest right? Food is just soooo bland and where's the Chinese kick??? I already expected this in an Pan Asian restaurant but I was surprised in a negative way. Interior is really nice though and that made me more disappointed after the first bite.

So, if you're just tuning in, I don't eat gluten. This means I like to eat in restaurants with gluten-free menus and educated waitstaff and chefs, even if these restaurants are unoriginal chains and overcrowded. But how can I express how amazing it is to go out to eat at a Chinese restaurant? Ok, P.F. Chang's is that hip Asian-fusion whatever food, but still. I could live off of the lettuce wraps. There are a couple points that should up the rating at this location: 1. The buzzer works in the entire mall. As in, you can walk beyond a 10 foot radius from the restaurant and the thing will still vibrate when your table is ready. 2. Our waitress, who was actually still in-training, actually apologized for bringing out a fortune cookie for me. Every other Chang's server has just sort of blindy thrown the cookie at me (which obv has gluten). I guess it's nice to have a fortune...when it IS a fortune and not "you have a great sense of humor." Thanks.

PF Changs isn't the same the world over. The one in Virginia where we used to live was skank. The place smelled like chlorox residue from dirty dishtowels. That said, I love this downtown Seattle branch. It's usually packed with tourists, but is clean with a nice ambiance. The food has been consistently fresh - I especially love the vegetarian lettuce wraps, which goes great with rice and the lettuce pieces are always perfect. Best of all, the service here is spectacular. We had a waiter last time that was the best waiter I've had for as long as I can remember (except for the waiter at El Gaucho, but that place is so expensive that exemplary service is expected). He dropped by often but wasn't intrusive, and at any whiff of a problem he was ready to fix it and check to make sure the solution was on par.

The crispy honey shrimp, garlic noodles and veggie lettuce wraps are great. Service was good, atmosphere is good, overall it's a good place to eat - you cant really go wrong but you could go better.

It's chain wannabe upscale (Americanized) Chinese food. Every P F Chang's looks the same, smells the same and serves the same. When I go I know what I'll be getting and the downtown Seattle location was no exception. Be sure to order the lettuce wraps it what I think everyone knows P F Changs for, their veggie ones are better than the chicken ones. I do like their Chow Fun noodles but their lemon scallops are hit or miss so I don't suggest getting those. If you go, go with a group and do family style that way if you don't like what you order you have other options to pick from. Oh they do have some tasty drinks as well there's one I like but I forget the name but the descriptions is something along the lines of 'a party in your mouth' and it's true there is one when you drink it. The bathrooms are down two flights of stairs, OK maybe it's only one but it was kind of spooky walking down there by myself, if you have to go take a friend with you so you don't get lost.

I've been to PF Changs in Cleveland, OH, Victor, NY and Lynnwood and I've always loved it...granted, I usually order the same thing for myself and have just a taste of my husband's meal but until I went to the Chang's in downtown Seattle, I've been pleased every time. Not so two nights ago! Our waiter was interminably SLOW. When we sat down there were about 10 tables around us that were empty. We ordered drinks, decided on food and I went (down 4 sets of stairs!) to the bathroom. During that time, many of the tables around us had filled up and all had their drinks AND before we ever got our drinks, 2 of the nearby tables had appetizers. I was disappointed in my drink (a virgin strawberry daquiri)...it tasted fine but I thought they could have dressed it up with a strawberry and whipped cream in a daquiri glass...like they do the real ones! Appetizers...when they finally arrived...I always get the lettuce wraps but by husband wanted the dumplings. They were good but absolutely no different than I've had from any other Chinese takeout. Food...when it finally arrived...I got the Mu Shu Chicken (accidentally...I like the pork better but I wasn't thinking when I ordered). It was HORRIBLE. The chicked was breaded and fried (strange and unnecessary in a dish like this) the pieces were all clumped together, there was hardly any chicken and the ends of each piece were so rock hard as to be inedible requiring me to remove them from my mouth with every bite that actually had chicken in it. On top of that, instead of small pieces of egg scrambled throughout the dish, there were huge clumps of egg (like three whole bites worth if all you were eating was egg). I like eggs, I like scrambled eggs, I like egg in my Chinese food but I like it PROPERLY PREPARED! After moving aside the inedible portions of the chicken and the egg clumps that I didn't feel like separating, about half of my meal was to the side. My husband got the Ginger Chicken and he liked it...the broccoli wasn't overdone and the chicken was moist and a good texture. I don't like ginger that much but if you do, the sauce was decent. Dessert...mmm...well, I don't like this trend toward "shooters" that everyone is doing now but that's just me. All of the full sized desserts on the sample platter looked gross and dried-out so it was hard to choose one that I thought would be good when it came. I was leaning toward the cheesecake (my usual standard for any restaurant) or the great wall of chocolate (but between the two of us, we still didn't think we could finish it!). Instead, I let my husband prevail upon me to go out on a limb and get the banana spring rolls. Now, let me preface this with "I am not a big banana person". (I love banana Runts, but they aren't really like the real thing:) Anyway, I expected that the spring rolls would be hot...or maybe even warm...at least, a slightly different temperature than the ice cream! Gross! Cold, slimy, once-fried bananas. My husband thought they were fine, and I'm not a banana person, so...I'll leave it at that for the spring rolls. At least the ice cream was unique and light and flavorful. It's some kind of coconut pineapple with chunks of each in it. Nice when you alread feel full but wanted something sweet. And, there were good fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) and some caramel sauce drizzled over the plate. Like others, water/drink refills, and checking-in by the waiter was practially non-existent. I would have sent my food back but I had no chance to because the waiter never came around to see how it was and I was hungry enough to give up waiting and then having to wait for something new! Towards the end of the meal, our waiter announced that he was being sent on a break so someone else would be taking care of us (didn't give us a name or point the new guy out though). That was fine since we didn't like the one we had and the new guy was much better. I ended up telling him about the Mu Shu Chicken since he was wondering why I didn't want to take all that was left home but the excuse he gave was that the kitchen was really in turmoil that night because it had been slow for the previous couple of nights and they were having a hard time with the number of guests that night. (I should mention that there was NO wait and there remained empty tables throughout the meal so I'm thinking that a place that is probably quite busy on weekend nights should be able to handle a normal weekday night). Next time I crave some of those incredible lettuce wraps or the decent Mu Shu pork, I'll be driving to Lynnwood...or Ohio...or New York. BTW, if you want to wrap your Mu Shu for yourself all you have to do is say "no" when they ask if you want them to prepare it for you...and they don't even offer to do the lettuce wraps.

It had been a while since I ate at P.F. Chang. A friend and I got the dinner for 2. I am not sure it was a great deal. We each got soup, 1 appetizer for both of us and an entree and a dessert in a shot glass. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, which came breaded (?) I think it was breading but it tasted like the chicken had sat for a while. It was so dry we had to ask for more sauce. I have had much better Kung Pao from small take out stands. We both agreed it was the worst meal we had a P.F. Chang's.

My cousin and I had dinner here on our last night in Seattle. We ordered Crab Wontons, Orange Peel Beef, Lemon Scallops and Fried Rice. For a restaurant chain, the food was pretty good. The Scallops were seared to perfection and covered in a savory lemon sauce. The beef was also cooked perfectly. All had the right components of crispy, savory and tangy. You would think that we would be full after eating our dinner but we wanted something sweet. We ordered the Great Wall of Chocolate Cake and boy was it huge. Six layers of chocolate cake w/ chocolate chip frosting and raspberry sauce. We didn't even get passed the third layer and we were sharing. All in all, great food and service.

What is with their sauce presentation thing. Whoa you are making a sauce to my liking. The food is decent yet un-inspired. Not really worth the price which is too high for what you get. Never had a particularly bad experience so no reason to go below 4 stars.

If you have never been...seriously Go! This place is a gluten free haven; the back side of their menu is all gluten free and they have so many delicious dishes on their menu including their lettuce wraps and the General Tso's Spicy Chicken...my favorite yum! If you have ever tried Earl's Chilli Chicken, (which are not gluten free) you will find this to be the exact equivalent; maybe even better. They also have singapore street noodles which are a must try as well as their lemon chicken. I found the waiters to be very aware of the gluten free menu and the manager even came over at the end of the meal to ask us what we thought of the gluten free entrees. He was very professional and told me they have been tweaking their gluten free menu. We took my in-laws here and ordered dishes to share from the gluten free menu and they could not tell the difference and they absolutely loved the food. I would recommend this place to even those without allergies. It is a franchise and they have many locations. I believe the closest one to Vancouver is the one in Lynnwood. Oh yes, i should mention ....this is not authentic chinese food by any means..just good ol' westernized chinese.

We ended up coming here to nurse our New Year's hangovers since it was the only place that was open but not extremely crowded. Kinda reministent of "A Christmas Story" As for the food, it may be Americanized but I don't think it's bad at all.

Ok....I am really not the kind of girl that likes to go to chain resturants but I am a big fan of PF's. I always sit at the bar because I am usually eating alone but the bartender takes good care of you. I can't say that I've ever had a bad meal or service here....ever. I usually stop here to fuel up for my shopping excursion and hell...its right next to a Lush (soap) store! Could I be in heaven? I think so.

I have to preface this by saying PF Chang's is not the kind of place I'd ever choose to go - but my daughter kept hearing from her friends how wonderful the food was and badgered me mercilessly until I agreed to take her - lord help me - twice. And both times the same things weirded me out. First off, I thought it was weird how intrusive the serves were in preparing things table-side. Now, I'm a gal who likes to play with her food. At PFC's they do all the playing for you - and from my point of view take away a considerable amount of fun. The server comes to the table and mixes together a disgusting dipping sauce. I tasted it. Trust me, it is inedible. However, if there's sauce to be slopped together, disgusting or otherwise, I want to do the slopping! On our second visit we ordered Mu Shu pork. I could not wait to show my girl how to spoon a little plum sauce on a paper thin pancake and roll it up fajitas style - mmmmm fajitas - and enjoy. No, that pleasure is stolen too. I've never tried the lettuce wraps that everyone says are great because my daughter is loathe to eat anything with a vegetable prominently featured in the name, but I suspect those would be put together for me too. And until I'm in a nursing home getting my diapers changed, I want to roll my own damn lettuce wraps, thank you very much. Another weird thing is that every single meat is battered and deep fried. Let me tell you frankly that I don't have anything against battered and deep fried foods, in fact think that and ice cream are the two best arguments for growing out of my size fours, however, even I do have my limits. Finally, if it's salt your wanting you won't go wanting for long at PFC's. I promise you'll be parched all night and bloated all the next day.

P.F.Chang's always maintain the same standard no matter where. I went to P.F. Chang's at Dayton, OH and San Diego, CA. No matter where, I always enjoy the "contemporary" Chinese food at P.F. Chang's. Among restaurants who offer contemporary Chinese food, P.F.Chang's is definitely one of the best ones.

oh i'm so biased... i learned how to use chopsticks before a fork and dipped food in soy sauce before ketchup. oy vey, here goes the taiwanese girl ripping on a chinese restaurant americanized and franchised to deliver the same safe experience anywhere you go. that said, there's is a place for the consistency and satisfaction of a standardized expectation being met over and over again. admittedly, i've gone twice, and with the same friend with 4 years and 1000 miles in between. this 2nd outing ended up with a lame server constantly MIA, some wine we had to send back and being seated in the corner booth next to the entrance to the kitchen. food wasn't bad, nothing special that you can't get with hotter spices and more umami in ID. ambience is dark and moody, probably good for both groups and couples. i call it fancifed americanized chinese eats that i wouldn't give up a dim sum chicken foot for, you call it worthy of more stars.

iiiiiii loooooooveeeeeee pf chang'sssssssss! especially the one in seattle. I absolutely love the atmosphere there on weekend nights. It's always so busy, but the waiting staff always finds time to check up on you from time to time. Their LETTUCE WRAPS! mmmmmmmm!! the lettuce is always sooo fresh and crispy, and I have only tried the tofu one, which is weird because I should have already tried the chicken one.. BUT it's sensational! and again, so FRESH! I love their shrimp with lobster sauce, the portion is reasonably filling and with the brown rice, it's amazing. Brown rice + lobster sauce = happy dinner. One time I ordered lamb there, and it was horrible (so don't get it), but I asked them if I could get a refund or a replacement entree, and ordered the shrimp with lobter sauce. The problem was taken care of promptly, and again, I enjoyed the delicious dish of shrimp with lobster sauce. And after dinner, you will be FULL! However, please order the great wall of chocolate with raspberry sauce... Its a huge piece of 5 - or something layered chocolate cake with raspberry sauce, with fresh raspberries and blackberries? blueberries? Anyways, it is heavenly!!! That is, if you're a chocolate lover. My friends and I always get it, no matter how full we are, because we always know that we'll be able to finish it... and we do. Whenever I go here my body develops a second stomach just for this dessert. The price is also pretty good, which is always a plus. If you are in seattle around Macy's area.. GO THERE! When it's busy you do have to wait for about 20 to 30 minutes, but hey you're in a mall. Just walk around with their pager and it will start going off and you won't even be able to notice that you have just killed half an hour!

Oh my goodness, where to begin. This is supposed to be an "upscale" (based on the prices) asian fusion chain, which advertises itself as something authentic. So the location is nice, the decor is nice. Um, ok, that about exhausts the positive things I have to say. We sat down for our meal, and the waiter comes over with his four sauces. Oh, you've never been here before, well let me explain this to you-- this is spicy, this is less spicy, this is sweet (squirt squirt squirt), and you can mix them together to get the right flavor. Gee thanks, I doubt we'd have figured that out, now please take your sauces and the picasso you just drew on our dinner plate and go away. Who knows what we ordered-- did it matter? Everything came out fried and gooped in sauce. One rule I generally follow-- the more sauce someone puts on a chinese dish, the more they're trying to hide something. In this case-- the taste. Just awful. The waiter went on about their famous spring rolls-- we didn't even bother finishing the tiny portion. I guess PF Chang's is sort of a fake chinese restaurant which can fool some tourists and country folk into thinking they're getting a taste of the orient, when in fact it's just McDonalds chopped into pieces and slobbered in sauce. Am I bitter about the $60 bill for this barely eaten dinner for two? At least I know better now.

If Panda Express and P.F. Chang's sum up most people's typical experience with Chinese food, I now finally understand the excitement over the offerings found in even the average Chinese restaurants in the International District. I cannot knock it for what it is (the Chinese-inspired equivalent to Olive Garden/Applebee's/insert-generic-chain-here), but I now know why only the promise of free food via a Christmas gift card has brought me here. At 5:30pm on a Sunday night, the dining area was about 75% full, and bar seating was nearly at capacity. One section of the bar area provided stools with an overlook of the entire restaurant. Sitting here proved to be our best choice of the night, as counting the number of people actually using chopsticks turned out to be a good source of entertainment. It was like "Where's Waldo," but different. In a room of at least 150 diners, this number turned out to be four. The service was friendly, but sparse. When available, our server was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, he did not check on us very often, so the typical minutiae of the dining experience (drink refills, rice, paying the check) was often neglected. From the rather extensive menu, we decided to order the Salt & Pepper Calamari, the Mu Shu Pork, the Singapore Street Noodles, and the Spicy Green Beans. This turned out to be plenty of food for two people, and considering the amount taken home with us, it could have easily served three. Of the batch, only the Mu Shu Pork and Spicy Green Beans were very good, but then again, liberal amounts of hoisin sauce and chili sauce can make almost anything taste good. Next, the Salt & Pepper Calamari consisted of simple strips of deep-fried squid served with a small bowl of mixed salt and pepper and a small bowl of chili sauce. While not bad, the Lettuce Wraps seemed to be a more popular appetizer among diners. Last, the Singapore Street Noodles were much too salty and off all around. While some added rice in each bite helped with the salt, the overcooked cabbage did not provide any texture contrast that crunchy bean sprouts might have, and the main ingredient of shrimp and chicken was not as abundant as hoped. Maybe I have been tainted by the good stuff, but I could not, in good faith, recommend P.F. Chang's. There are much better options out there, so for those with a craving for Chinese, expand those culinary horizons!

I love the lettuce wraps here (and the sauce the wait staff mixes up) and I've come here once just for them. But the food itself has never impressed me much... I haven't found a dish I'll come back to. The decor is really great and the service has always been friendly but the wait can also be long during popular dinner hours.

My fiance once threw up in a PF Chang's, and I bet that's the most exciting thing that ever happened here. With all the amazing food in this city, there's no reason to eat here. That said, extenuating circumstances brought me to PF Changs the other day and I will say that the service was excellent and the well-presented food (calamari and chicken lettuce wraps) arrived promptly. However, once I tasted the wrap filling, the only flavor I could discern was soy sauce. I kept spooning the "hot" sauce that the waiter had mixed at our table with such flourish onto my plate, but to no avail. And I'd bet my hands the calamari had been recently defrosted, it tasted like those crinkle fries in the freezer bag that people serve to their children. So if you have a kid,you might want to bring them here. Kids seem to love boring salty food, right? I know I did. And it's really clean. Otherwise, you should probably carry on ignoring PF Changs.

This was my first time eating at any of the branches. I liked the ambiance as well as the decor. We went out for my wife's birthday. The food was a bit bland for my taste but I could tell that they were using quality ingredients and had excellent service. They were very children friendly and very attentive. I hope all the branches are this customer friendly.

What I like about PF Changs is the atmosphere. The decor is beautiful. However, I opened the menu, and I was really underwhelmed by the choices. To be honest, I was surprised that every PF Changs I pass by seems to be packed. It just seems to be a bunch of Americanized Chinese food. Then again, PF Changs caters to American people--I tend to like authentic Chinese food, so that's why I like to go to the International District or San Francisco's Chinatown for my Chinese food. I did order Peking Duck with dumplings, plum sauce and scallions and it was pretty good. And they did keep the skin on the duck which was a good thing. (I remember going to one "pan-Asian" place that served a duck dish without the skin. That's the best part as far as I'm concerned!

This is pretty standard, but for a chain, it's really good. We wanted a nice but not too expensive place to meet friends for dinner downtown, and this was perfect. All of our food was good, and the staff was nice. It was easy to hear each other, and we got a nice large round table, which made it easy to see and talk to everyone.

Okay, so I know it's probably not "hip" to admit to liking PF Chang's, and I further admit that, when I last ate here 4 or 5 years ago, I was totally not impressed (the food was way to salty for me, soaked in soy sauce. I am NOT a "salt" person - unlike some of my Yelp pals! LOL). But on a recent weekend, hubby and I were in Westlake Center and hubby was ravenous and he insisted we have dinner here. I know not to stand in the way of a famished guy, so in we went. And I was very pleasantly surprised, as I had a very good meal! Is it "authentic" Chinese cuisine? I'd say no. No way. But it was fresh and good, and service was pleasant and attentive. I am on a pretty restrictive diet, but I ordered the Seared Ahi Salad and, I have to admit, it was delicious. The ahi was super good, with a decent portion too, and the Asian dressing on the salad was light but very flavorful. Hubby had the chicken lettuce wraps which he loved (I could smell the soy sauce on the chicken and I know it would be way too salty for me. But he really enjoyed it). He also had some won ton soup and I had some tea; both were very good but nothing notable. I have to mention the décor. I had forgotten how pretty the restaurant interior was. And how deep, and that it's two-storied. Gorgeous murals over the open-faced kitchen. Deep and rich colors, comfortable and deep upholstered semi-circular booths against the walls. Our plates and serviettes/napkins were pristine clean, and it was nice to have chopsticks at the ready in a modern black container on the table. My tea came in a cast iron Asian teapot with trivet, which I really liked. Nice attention to small details. So, yes, I liked my meal here. There, I said it! And yes, we will be back.

Ordered delivery through bite squad (awesome service on their side!) and requested walnut shrimp with melon and Kung pao Chicken with no onions. The order arrived partially frozen and with onions in. Clearly they just defrost pre-cooked frozen food. Clearly they are charging for the ambience of their restaurant and not the food because the quality is not even as good as a frozen dinner from a bag. Never eating at PF Chang's again.

P.F. Chang's is like a side chick. I would never tell my friends that I was at P.F. Chang's even though I'm here quite frequently. I prefer the Lynnwood and Bellevue locations. The downtown location is a bit hectic, street parking is tough to find and the Westlake parking garage is shady as hell, I feel like I should've been carrying mace. So why am I frequently at P.F. Chang's despite my Asian heritage and my love for authentic Chinese food? Well, I like their lunch specials (and the fact that the specials are available on Saturdays!). I like their hot and hour soup even though I think they put too much soy sauce and vinegar in it, and I'm a big fan of their Mongolian beef. The upside to this being a chain is that you can expect some consistency in all the locations. The food always comes out fast, and service is always friendly and attentive enough even though they're busy. No, I was never at P.F. Chang's and I never wrote a review about it. My Yelp account must've been hacked.

Stopped by for Happy Hour while roaming around Seattle downtown and settled with PF Changs. Surprisingly, it's my first time here ever (since I'm already Chinese and I got chinatown and my momma for all my asian food needs). But wanting to whine down for a long day being a tourist, PF Changs was the closest full bar so there I was finding myself at 5pm on a Friday afternoon. The bar area was very spacious and the interior was decorated beautifully. It was dim and dark, with hints of rustic feels inside and drapes that hung down from the ceiling. The waitress was super sweet and brought water as soon as I sat down. Happy hour was from 3pm-6pm served Mon-Friday. I was impressed my the different food options that they had for happy hour and the prices weren't bad at all. I think I was impress by the food and its prices more than the drinks they offered. I had myself the Red Sangria (6) which was absolute Mandrin Vodka and melot mixed with fresh fruit, AND YES, it was fresh fresh fruit. Not soggy or frozen, but fresh strawberries and oranges! Had a sweet and tangy kick to it too and it was red and made you feel all nice and warm inside (while outside it was raining, windy, and storming at 30 degrees). The Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps (6) were beyond bomb dot com. I thought 6 dollars was a really fair price and it was so delicious. The flavors were all there and the food was piping hot and dripping with sauce. Loved it! The fresh lettuce provided was crispy and clean (no sand). It wasn't Salinas lettuce that I'm so used to being from the Bay Area but it was on point. The portion of pork to lettuce was 2:1 which was perfect since I overload my lettuce cups to eat less vegetables! It was in a red box on the menu to signify as one of their most popular house dishes and I could see why! Overall for a 12 dollar happy hour, drink and an appetizer, I was really set and happy. It was well worth the money and time and great environment to be in. There's actually a lot more on the menu that I didn't get to try but the prices varied from 2-7$ for each appetizer and on tap beer was super cheap. $3 gets you bud light, tsingtao, sam adams, or manager's choice, OR you can get yourself some gekkeikan sake for that price. The drinks were beyond reasonably priced!

Love, love, love the chow mein. And probably the best egg rolls and wontons. Had a wonderful experience today. Very prompt service and the food was really quick to get to us and well timed between apps and entrees. Great waiters and excellent food. Two thumbs way up.

The place is nice and the service was good. The food was good except the portion sizes were a lot smaller than I remember. I use to eat PF Chang's in Hawaii and the portion sizes in Hawaii were bigger. We ordered the Lobster Fried rice, GF Ginger Broccoli Chicken, GF Mongolian Beef ( it was way to crispy and some pieces were even burnt) and Chicken Lo Mein. Everything was good except for the GF Mongolia Beef was a little too crispy.

My second time at a P.F. Chang's. My thoughts of this establishment went down a level (if even possible). You are basically getting Panda Express but paying double for it.

It's Americanized Chinese food and, except for the Lettuce Wraps, pretty bland and overloaded with sugar. Ate here for lunch today and ordered the Sesame Chicken without onions and wouldn't you know it; they made it with onions. I can't understand why the do this over and over. It's not the first time this has happened to me but definitely the last since I'm not going back. I've been eating here for years periodically since it's convenient but I have to say the food is just OK and the lunch special is reasonable but nothing amazing. There are so many better choices within a mile in China Town or Bell Town.

Sunday night dinner -- food was good, service was a bit too slow but expected from a P.F. Chang's. This place smells a bit like the Lush Cosmetics store directly next to it, but luckily I don't mind. It's a good location in the mall. Chang's spicy chicken is very good here. (I'm not one for spicy food, and it's not spicy for me). Tempura green beans are also delicious. Server was very nice to our party of 6 and tolerated the child in our party. For some reason he refilled everybody's drink but mine, I think it was because he couldn't tell if it was Sprite or water and didn't want to ask. (It was Sprite). This place is the only familiar spot in Downtown Seattle other than Ruth's Chris and fast food, so I'll probably return when back in Seattle.

I went there for business lunch with 12 people. We waited for 1 hour to get the food and the waiter was very lost and confused with the order. Everyone got food but me because he forgot my order. I waited for another 30 minutes and the food finally arrived but it tasted terrible and cheap. No one enjoyed food whatsoever. The food was so poorly cooked, tasted like microwave food. It was just disgusting Chinese food. We could have gone to Chinatown in Seattle and get authentic Chinese food with cheaper price. This place is a rip off and should shut down. I can make better food myself at home than PF Chang.

Came here for happy hour. It's great that it starts at 3pm. It wasn't that crowded so the waitress was attentive in the beginning. I always get the chicken lettuce wraps. It's good but can get salty so the sauces help diffuse that or ask for extra lettuce. The chicken noodle soup comes in a big bowl. It reminds me of a tom yum flavoring. Asked for extra noodles to put into the soup and it wasn't a problem. This is my favorite soup here. It's made to order cause of the noodles so you know it's fresh.

Not bad. Sat at the bar and got some kung pao and a beer for lunch. Staff found out I liked the spicy foods and brought me a little mixture of stuff they make themselves to smear on my food. Nice heat. =] I like looking out the window and people watching the other tourists... very fun.

I came to PF Chang for a dinner. This should be a good restaurant because I saw so many people dining. I liked their service. But the problem was from the food. The celery was so tough that I didn't even know whether I should cut it or bite it.

Beef broccoli was charred (in a great way) yet tender flavorful and good Lettuce wraps..check Ask for wonton soup as not on menu. Peach mango hot tea. Waiter told my guest about tipping as gift card did not cover tip, why I left ot go down the hall to ATM. That was awful. He also said repeatedly he had conjured up this food. He took credit three times for the food and wanted to interrupt our talking often. If he had talked tipping procedure to me, he would not have gotten my generous tip Guest told me after we left. Tips are optional. I tip over 20% often. Embarassing.

I always give Chang's an extra star because of their lettuce wraps and consistently friendly service. Whether in the bay area or here in seattle, the waiters are always very friendly, know the menu well and recommend the best drinks. I had the yuzu mojito- it's a silent killer, ginger masks the alcohol and finally it hits you. The yuzu margarita with pomegranate was yummy too. Got the summer special quinoa fried rice which was flavorful and light. Had a wonderful dinner watching downtown seattle bustle away.

Oh, P.F. Changs. You're a terrible chain, and I don't understand how people like you. The service was slow (but we were sitting in the bar area) and I was definitely not pleased with my meal. The calamari was SO salty. The dumplings' wrappers were awkwardly thick and fried very American. I think my expectations were just too high when it came to P.F. Changs, even though they weren't very high at all. Try somewhere else out if you're looking for food downtown.

The meal and service were OK. We liked our server, Kortney well enough as she was professional and courteous. We were spoiled living in La Jolla, CA for four years. The staff there was the very definition of professional and exceptionally friendly. Here, there's something lacking in the connections between patrons and staff in the Seattle site. It just seems the minimum, though never rude or inhospitable. It reminds me of the the character Jennifer Aniston plays in Office Space - just the bare minimum. The site itself presents to be just a run-of-the mill chain feeling. We've visited sites in Santa Monica and La Jolla and loved the ambiance. The downtown Seattle site reminds me of a mediocre remodeling of a large diner. It doesn't have any charm, any warmth and seems lacking in the P.F. Changs personality we'e come to appreciate over the years. I'd probably have enjoyed eating a take-out box of PFC in a doctor's waiting room just as much as in the restaurant. It's just one of those experience you will never remember. If they were going for an atmosphere of wanting the customers to remember their dining companions and not the restaurant, mission accomplished. Nothing remarkable or even notable about the ambiance. We visit PFC much less now than in previous years simply because there's nothing interesting about going there when there are so many other really great choices. We chose this place today because we happened to think of eating lunch about 20 feet from the front door. We weren't driven there by any need. Actually, we were planning to go somewhere else, but didn't want to walk several blocks through busy Saturday downtown traffic and pedestrians. The food is OK, but not great like it was in other areas. Maybe there's been a change in menu and preparation, but it lacks distinct flavor. I can taste the overwhelming sauces more than the meats and vegetables. Overall: adequate, but forgettable.

I can't believe I just paid $13.50 for the sweet and sour pork, which contained about 11 pieces of pork. I am really disappointed, when I order that dish, I expect a good helping of pork. Instead, the majority of the dish was boring white rice. I ordered to go and so I guess I didn't get any sauce either, I suppose you have to ask. The $7.95 spring rolls were pretty good, but the very small portion of pork just left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not exactly eager to come back and see how big the portions are on the other entrees to boot.

Sometimes one just finds himself in the mood for mediocre Chinese food! Have no fear PF Changs has you covered. I remember when I used to love this place. Either it's gone downhill or my tastes have matured since high school. Pricey for the portions compared to a legit Chinese restaurant, PF changs Americanized dishes will hit that appetite sweet spot for saucey Chinese food with interesting flavor profiles. I got the changs spicy chicken and it was way too saucey. The brown rice is a nice touch. I wasn't a fan of the dumplings, egg drop soup, or calamari. Hmm I should probably just 2 star this place and get it over with seeing as I didn't really like much about my dinner, but like I said sometimes you're just craving bad food. The wait time was kind of dumb on a Saturday night 40min for a half packed restaurant. We decided to just sit at the bar. Service was really slow as well :(

I think i just needed to try a noodle dish to improve the rating. I'm still not blown away or anything, but the last 2-3 times i've come here i liked everything i had. I guess that means their menu is hit or miss. And i keep recalling i don't like how the ordering process is.. Maybe it was just that rice doesn't automatically come with your entree. That's pretty lame no matter what restaurant it is. But like i said, try something new and you may find yourself having a different opinion of the place.

Daymnn! I never would've thought I'd be giving P.F. Chang's 2 stars, but our dinner tonight quite simply sucked... 'Meh' would have been a serious improvement. The highlight and sole reason I'm not giving this review a 1 star rating: service was absolutely impeccable. We were served by Dominika who did a fabulous job with service. She was kind, helpful, attentive, and all around cheerful. I can't begin to say enough good things about service tonight. The food, on the other hand... We ordered a variety of dishes: crab Wontons, dynamite shrimp, Wonton soup, crispy Korean chicken wings, Mongolian beef and Dan-Dan noodles. Let's start with the good: The crispy Korean chicken wings were delicious. Neither my wife nor myself had ever tried them. We asked Dominika and she said they were great. Indeed, nice little crispy mouthfuls of spicy chicken they were! That dish got my taste buds doing the salsa... The dynamite shrimp were decent. My wife thought they were really good, albeit spicy. I thought they were decent... perhaps slightly above average. Now for the bad: The Dan Dan Noodles were a low-sodium diet's antithesis... There was so much damn salt in that dish my feet immediately swelled to the size of pumpkins. I was super disappointed with the crab wontons which, while not typically difficult to make, nevertheless were pretty sad and under-cooked. I wasn't sure if we ordered Mongolian Beef or Mongolian Beef jerky. Either way, the dish sucked. I feel terrible giving PF Chang's 2 stars, but that I must do based on tonight's abysmal meal.

For a chain restaurant that has been in Downtown Seattle for as long as I can remember, I was extremely disappointed by my recent visit here. My parents and I went to grab a quick dinner and drinks and while sitting in the bar, we had to go out of our way to get someone to take our order. And then the food took so long to come to our table that some of it was already cold. However, once we alerted one of the servers about the problems we had, he was very responsive and made sure to fix everything he could. I know this place can do better than this, just had a rough night.

I never really have good service here, which is unfortunate since I work nearby. Last Friday was my worst experience as of yet. We sat in the bar with the hope of a bit faster service. It was afternoon, but it was not any busier than normal in the bar or otherwise. After we had been sitting for a few minutes a server (Beth is the name on the receipt) walks towards us and without saying a SINGLE word or making ANY eye contact, she put the menus on the table and walked away. I have never, ever experienced that. I'm still shocked by it. The rest of the service she provided was as you would expect from a person who dropped off menus without speaking or greeting a table. We saw the busser more than we saw our server. Two stars because the food was delicious and correct. Seriously, though, I don't think I can eat here again. I came here about once a month for business lunches, but another restaurant opened recently in our building and I'm going to start going there. I am incapable of tipping poorly, and I'd rather give my money to a server who deserves it.

The food here is just OK. I had the lobster rice and there was WAY too much seasoning in this dish. Attention chefs: lobster is insanely deliecious all by itself and does not need to be completely coated in seasoning. I honestly have no idea why they felt the need to do this. My wife's dish, on the other hand, was too bland. When you order chicken and rice, you get chicken and rice. A big bowl of white rice with absolutely no sauce or seasoning to go with it. Very strange.

P.F. Chang's was not my first choice for Seattle dining. After the Mariners game, when we were walking from Safeco Field toward Westlake Center on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurants serving our kind of food in the Central Business District were closed. The P.F. Changs in Westlake Center seemed to be the best choice. In my opinion, this P.F. Chang's is A-OK. The dining environment is on the elegent side. The service is good. The waiter was on top of the soda refills. The food tasted good. The problem is the way P.F. Changs is serving the food. For example, the bowl of wonton soup was way too small. That way too small bowl included just one won ton. This is a complaint that I addressed in my review for the Las Vegas Strip P.F. Chang's a couple of years ago. My second complaint is that some of the entrees include rice where others don't. I will not be returning to a P.F. Chang's in the near future. The fact that I got rid of a $10 off the next meal by the Fall 2013 sums up my feelings toward P.F. Changs. The 2013 Yelp 200 Challenge. Review #118.

Amazing Food, The waiters are professional and courteous. I have eaten at the Seattle location maybe 20 times in the last 5 years and it's great. Only had one problem where they forgot our meal and it was delivered an hour later, we really didn't mind as we were in deep discussion and didn't really notice. The manager came over and apologized like crazy and The food was on the house and they gave us free meal for next time. We always love going and recommend the gluten FREE! # djglutenfree.com

So.my first meal as a 21 year old, I decided to.try pf Changs once again because the previous time I.had visited the food was delicious. Maybe.it's just bad luck due to the weather on my birthday, yet the dumplings I had were worse then the frozen ones you buy at the grocery store and the sesame chicken was bland and the broccoli was as crisp as I would like. Overall while service was nice, food will.not make me come back anytime soon.

My wife and I had dinner there last night. While enjoying our favorite appetizer (lettuce wraps), the Mgr informed us that our order did not get submitted on time. He comped our drinks and appetizer for the delay. Our very friendly server admitted her error and apologized. She went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Love the way they handled this. Could have been a bad experience, turned into a very enjoyable one. We will be back very soon!

I came to this P. F. Chang when I visited Seattle for a conference. I didn't want to come here really, it was for a group meeting. I mean why in the world would I eat at P. F. Chang's while visiting a new city? That's so unoriginal and not me! But that was certainly NOT the reason why I gave this particular establishment an one star. I will eat at chain restaurants if it is good. But the food here is certainly not! In fact, this has to be the worst meal I had in Seattle. I ordered the Mongolian beef which I thought would be a safe choice. I mean how can you screw up beef and scallion?! Boy was I wrong! It tasted like some old meat from 500 BC with no flavor. I could cook it with a single hand and it'll taste better than this! The worst part is the price. My bill was almost $20 including tax. Seriously?! I can eat at ANY random Americanized Chinese food joint for half the price or less. I felt like I was robbed. Yea, you heard me. I didn't want to come here to begin with! I remember eating at a P. F. Chang a few years ago. It was actually not as bad. Man, how about just grab some P. F. Chang frozen dinner at the grocery store, heat it up, put it on your plate, charge $20 then call it a day!! Will never return, E-V-E-R!!

I have been craving Chinese food for a long time. I always get Chinese food from our neighborhood restaurant it's the best hands down but they close so early I can never make it there. I always have to try some other place that just doesn't compare. Well PF Chang's didn't even come close to good Chinese :( I really wanted to like them. I would imagine that their restaurant food is the same quality as their food you can find in the freezer aisle at your local grocery store. I have never tried said frozen meal but I'm almost positive it's the same. Their lo mein noodles were so soggy it was like overcooked top ramen, the fried rice was very soy saucy and rice overcooked. The spicy chicken was not bad. There were 3 items that were actually good and I probably would go back for if I was in the area. The lettuce wraps, the agave margarita and the banana spring roll dessert served with coconut pineapple ice cream.

There are a lot of employees and it took almost 10 mins to place my order at the bar. The guy that finally assisted me walked past 3 times before ever acknowledging me! The bar is maybe half full. There are a lot of empty seats. I didn't sit near anyone and grabbed a chair right in the middle. They had to see me. I placed an order to go. Hopefully that won't take forever. There's no way that I'm staying. I go to the Bellevue location which has outstanding service. This place is terrible!

Going to give it a 2. But worst customer service I have had a a PF Changs! Sat In the bar and the standards set by management for service are set very low. Staff counting their money out in the open sitting right next to me. Really??!! There is not a private place to count you till or tips? Then the beers we ordered they did not fill the glass. Ok then we never got our appetizers when our dinner was served we asked what about our appetizers? Oh they list your ticket in the kitchen. And then they said you moved to another table and they treys to serve you but you were not there. Really? Again?? Ok they did adjust our bill and apologize after the multitude of errors. But the management attitude was so lax and they did not care. Plus the food was over cooked. Very disappointed wit the Seattle PFChangs

Admittedly, I usually get some of the same dishes no matter which location of PF Chang's I patron. Often it's the sesame chicken with brown or fried rice, and either crab rangoon or spring rolls for an appetizer. I have been to this location a few times, and each time the service and food quality have been great. I wish they were connected to some of the local delivery services, because getting to this place (including finding parking) is a hassle.

Went here for a lunch midweek and figured my previous experiences at other locations would be able to be a good gauge as to what to expect. I wish I had reconsidered other options before stepping foot in here. When my husband and I entered we were met by a hostess who seemed she could care less about providing any sort of friendly customer service and proceeded to seat us in a half booth and stand alone chair table directly next to the kitchen with several booths free that were clearly more inviting than the one she chose for us. We then proceeded to order a appitizer of pan fried dumplings. After our server came over and greeted us after waiting close to 10 minutes we requested a move to a new table. I ordered a diet coke and repeatedly got regular ( thankfully I wasn't diabetic or something). Food came out after what seemed like forever and had clearly dat in the window for some time. The only person who seemed to be remotely friendly was the food runner Andrew who was working mainly in the kitchen who ran out our appetizers. Overall super disappointing and poorly managed. I recommend anyone who thinks about trying this place to be ready to be dissatisfied.

Full disclosure: After the debacle last time, management sent me a $30 gift card. Still shy about the poor service in the restaurant, we got take out. Our thoughts, from good to bad: Good: Chang's spicy chicken - was quite tasty, and the kitchen accidentally made us 2 of them, so they gave us the extra for free. Chicken lettuce wraps - were tasty, though some of the lettuce pieces weren't very crisp. Decent: BBQ ribs - the ribs were tasty, but there wasn't enough sauce on them Wonton soup - the soup was very bland, albeit inoffensive Bad: Dan Dan noodles - HORRIBLE. They were so mushy they were inedible and we threw them out. Had the restaurant not given us an extra spicy chicken, I'd have complained again.

I took a party of four here and was very pleased with our experience. Our waitress made the mistake of accidentally entering two of our entrees in wrong. We only found out when they brought us the wrong food, but not only did the manager personally come out and apologize, they comped us one of the wrong entrees as well as the two we did intend to receive. Of course, given out free food does not a good restaurant make. However the food itself came very quickly and it tasted great. By far some of the best orange chicken I've had in a while. There was no waiting around for our food or the bill. It was quick, in and out service without sacrificing on quality. I'll be returning.

In my opinion, national chain restaurants are the Disneylands of the restaurant world. Their food is to cuisine as Budweiser is to beer; meaning they are designed to provide a consistent, highly-manufactured, and unchallenging experience that will appeal to as many people as possible. This means their food contains enough sugar, flour, fat, and salt to guarantee that your animal brain won't taste much of anything else. So your meal may taste good but really has no depth, complexity, texture, or great flavor. It also means there will be lots of things on the menu that will fill your tummy without offending your palette. Now that my snob flag is completely unfurled I will say that this place is fine for what it is. If you want something quick and easy that won't offend, Chang's will provide. Just don't go expecting a great Asian food experience, and be prepared for crowds because Westlake Center is a top tourist destination. During peak hours Chang's has lines that defy belief. If you're without kids, enter the bar from the 4th Avenue entrance for faster service, just don't expect that service to be efficient or entirely organized. Restaurants like this are also the training grounds for anyone with little or no previous restaurant experience. They're friendly and they try, which is something, but the coordination and execution may be found lacking.

TERRIBLE is the only word I can use. Ordered our food and 20 minutes go by and then we get served food we didn't even order. Then we got a "complimentary" order of broccoli and beef which we didn't order. Then 2 minutes later we get 1/2 of our order with the promise the rest is on the way. 10 minutes later still nothing. Ask waitress what is going on and she goes to kitchen and returns to tell me it's just going into the wok now. Really ? My wife is anyway done eating and I still haven't gotten my food. Oh and to make it better my soda glass was left empty the whole time.

Waiter was doing all right until it became busy. I asked for sweet chili sauce and he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then he kept avoiding our table. Asked to split the check 3 ways, told me no but he could take 3 separate payments...

Amazing food and service! Had a problem with our Pad Thai...but they not only made us a new dish, thy took it off our bill and have us a gift card for out next visit. One of the best restaurants we have visited in downtown Seattle! Top notch!

I love P.F. Changs, honestly. Sure, it is a chain, and it is certainly not authentic, but I am not afraid to say that I'm okay with that. Unfortunately, this location is horrific. For one thing, the service stunk the night we went in. My BF and I waited 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our presence. When they did, the waiter spilled my BF's beer, which was an accident. She also brought him a new one, for free, which we really appreciated. Then she disappeared and we had to ask another table's waiter to find out where she'd gone. Apparently, she went home for the night and before taking our order! When our new waiter finally arrived, he did an okay job but we were already annoyed. And that's not even the worst part. LUSH is located right next door to the restaurant, and the smells coming out of that place are ungodly strong. Even though P.F. Chang's has 2 doors separating it from LUSH, the fact that they open and close constantly allows the stink in. You can count on smelling it all through dinner. The combination of greasy Chinese food and fruity bath bombs is lethal! Avoid this location if you can help it.

The chicken lettuce wrap is delicious, I like eating it with the sauce that they mix right in front of you. The rest of the menu is consist of dishes that are way too salty that I get worry about my sodium level even though I know I won't gain weight. Service is stellar though, they took care part of the bill because we didn't take more than one bite on the dishes that were too salty to even try to finish. If you want an "Americanize" Asian restaurant with a nicer atmosphere & presentation so you could take a pretty Instragram photo, then you would be perfectly fine dining in the mysterious dim light. If you want authentic, great Chinese food that you could get full off for a reasonable price like I do, this isn't the place.

Well, this was a unusual experience. We were helped by one young guy waiter by the bar area who was just prissy and pissy. We moved to a table were our next waiter was very funny and polite. Had a Mac N Jack which was great, we ordered family style dished (which were rather small but also my eyes are bigger than my stomach) Pad Thai, Orange Peel Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. We had some serious problems with the Pad Thai. 1. It really not as good as a real Thai place would make it. 2. My wife ate a few egg shells so they relaxed the dish. 3. The second dish had little hard rocks. They didn't charge us for the Pad Thai, gave us a $25 gift card and free desert (which was a really huge slice of chocolate cake. Man! It was good).

FYI, the "famous" chicken lettuce wraps that people seem to love so much are made from leftover chicken scraps that were discarded in the preparation of other dishes. Just so you know. They be making money by charging up the ass for chicken scraps in sauce with iceberg lettuce. Someone I know used to work there and she told me. BTW, the food here ain't "Chinese"....This is just a higher-end version of Panda Express...AKA: A bougie Panda Express. The chow-mein was salty as fuck. Mind as well get Panda Express takeout and set up your dining room table in fancy manner. Same food for less money

Okay food. Good service thou. Ordered the kung pao chicken, which is the best amongst all the things we ordered. Ordered lettuce wrap chicken, hunan style fish, and other things, and they all tasted the same? (like they used the same sauce and fried everything). Tasted more like a western food, not Chinese food.. Not recommended

Coming from a very Asian community (626 in LA), PF Chang's feels like... Americanized Asian food for a more upscale type of people. The food is okay... not that authentic, but the flavors are alright. It's the price that I don't like. It's just that I can get the same food (probs better) for far cheaper elsewhere. But of course, this restaurant caters to a different type of customers. They have good cocktails though. And the restaurant is nicer than any Chinese/other Asian places I've been to haha. But when it comes to food, I'd rather have it be super bomb and cheap in a shitty hole in the wall place, rather than mediocre food for a lot of money in a nice and classy place.

Not bad. We only ordered some appetizers because we are not that hungry. We had the lettuce wrap, calamari, bbq ribs & the dynamite shrimp. It was good, but not great.

I love that they offer the 4 course meal as it is perfect for two people. We ordered the egg drop soup, spring rolls, orange peel chicken and honey chicken. For dessert we had chocolate peanut butter crisp cake. The soup was a little too salty but still very good. The spring rolls were VERY greasy. As I was eating I was thinking to myself "Oh this might be a disaster on the train going home later..." The entrees were delicious. The orange chicken is very good and not coated in a ton of batter like most places. Of course, dessert is always delicious, who can argue with chocolate and peanut butter? Our waitress was very friendly and we did not have to wait to get a table, although it was a Wednesday evening and Lady Gaga was apparently in town...

Had a great time and service was great due to it being slow but none the less good. Just had a quick lunch and got the usual; Mongolian Beef and hot and sour soup. We tried the mojito which was good and then we tried some sake. I didn't really care for the sake but it was the first time I had it.

I'm not a chain reviewer (or goer, for that matter), but I ended up here in a moment of weakness and really feel like I need to add my two stars... err... cents. This isn't because the sickly sweet and salty sauce on the Americanized version of Americanized Chinese food was too much to bear, but rather it's because the bar here is clearly a hangout for all the off-duty (or friends of) servers. I was surrounded by so much hugging, flirting and drama that I couldn't look around without on-duty employees stopping it all to ask if my meal was to satisfaction. Not in that, "oh hey, I really care about your experience" sorta way, but rather a "this is a private conversation I'd rather you not listen to and the only way I'm authorized to tell you to mind your own business is this one line from the corporate script" sorta way. Who knows... maybe I read too much into it... and an olive in the purse is really just an olive in the purse.

In short, I wasn't impressed. I don't mean to sound harsh, the food was fine. I think I just succumbed to the hype and was a little let down. The service was excellent and the decor was nice. The prices were fair and we had a good time. I just wasn't impressed with the food. It's a chain, and it tasted like it. Again, it was OK but not something I couldn't find at any of the other myriad of Asian restaurants around.

Came here for lunch last week during work. The design is something I enjoy with the flat stone/rocks, round fixture soft ambient ceiling lights and especially that ancient mural art spanning above the kicthen. Walking down the far corner stairs to the bathroom was like walking down the retro 1970's (burnt orange wall, loopy-sqaure framed mirror, dark brown stairs, etc. I think they themselves were nice and clean. I got the Almond & Cashew Chicken minus the mushrooms, pork dumplings, and half spinach w/ garlic side. All was good... until I noticed they forgot the bamboo shoots in the A & C C. I brought it to my waitress' attention, who then kind of glanced over my dish, trying to spot them, like I was doing... "um, I know what these look like, and they are not in here." She said she could bring it as a side, which I gave in to and said ok.... cold, bamboo shoots on the side... yeeeah... Trying to take as much advantage as possible of the heat my dish is emitting, I dumped them in and stirred and mixed... hmph. She did seem overall nice, though, and didn't smirk when I told her I didn't want dessert, but would like to see the menu for next time... it wasn't a handheld menu, but a visual one on a tray! Coool. She picked up each one explaining them to me. Nice, thank you!

I was going to have lunch with my family here, but the girl at the front desk was rude. I asked to see a menu before we went inside so my parents could look at it and she extremely lacked customer service. I'll take my money else where.

I went here last week with a couple co-workers for lunch. One star for super excited service. It reminded me of Chotchke's in Office space; they acted like they were really excited to be there. They made a big show of mixing our dippin sauce for us. I was excited, because I thought that it ment that they would bring something to dip in it. We didn't order any dipp-able items, so they didn't. The food tasted just like Safeway Chinese.

A loud restaurant in trying to carry a conversation with any other dinner guest. The food lacks taste, presentation, and proper cooking time. The salmon was over cook , dry, and tasteless. The soup was overbearing with corn starch, having a very pasty texture to it. Overall the meal was disappointing , given the overall price and reputation of this restaurant . The service was adequate , but at times extended pauses between dishes. ( building up an appetite) ; If your hungry, and have a desperate appetite ..this place is for you.

Awful experience here. Seriously, don't come here! I just to LOVE P.F. Chang's, I'd even go there for my birthday dinner some years. Apparently things have changed, or maybe just the downtown location is under very poor management. To make a long story short, here is why I was so unsatisfied with a recent visit: 1. We ordered the spicy green beans and they had actual sticks in them. As in, hadn't been stripped off the green beans, real life sticks. When we told our waiter, he just laughed and said 'that's weird'. They were also completely overcooked - shriveled and shrunken. We've had this same dish several times and they've never tasted like this. 2. 3 different people brought the incorrect food to our table. Once when we had already paid and had just fortune cookies on our table. How is it so confusing?! 3. I am a vegetarian and ordered the tofu lettuce wraps. After I was half way through eating them, the waiter came over and told me he had given me the chicken lettuce wraps. WHAT! After explaining the situation and how another table had ordered the chicken wraps he realized I HAD in fact been given tofu. I've had them several times so I was confident they were in fact tofu but for a solid minute he was trying to tell me he'd given me chicken. He ended up realizing he gave his other table tofu too (instead of chicken) and told us 'but they've already eaten most of them, so I'm just not gonna tell them'. WHAT! 4. Finally, we requested a manager come over to try and let them know what was going on. The manager mildly apologized and said he'd take the gross green beans off our bill. I was expecting MUCH more of a response, but he seemed to not care much. He gave us a free appetizer coupon for our next visit to that location. I literally will never go there again, so I won't be using it. 5. Finally, hate to say this but our server was just WEIRD. Super talkative, but couldn't read the fact that we were very unsatisfied and did not want to chat. Overall, terrible experience and ruined P.F. Chang's.

Good customer service will get a race review from me every time!! I went to lunch with my husband and a friend, we ordered the lunch special that came with soup and salad. My friend asked if they had soy paper to do one of the sushi appetizers with and he said they didn't, which she somewhat expected... No biggie, we went on with our meal. A little later the chef showed up at the table with a roll he made with no seaweed for my friend at no charge, my husband didn't care for the soup and sent it back and it was taken off our bill. I genuinely felt like they wanted our business. Terrific dining experience :)

It is a chain and it is a P.F. Chang's so I don't need to explain or hate on it as everyone does. Yes, the food is just like at every P.F. Chang's so I will let you make the decision whether you like that or not. I do happen to have a family member that likes this place so I have been there multiple times and I am giving it 3 stars because I do think the service at this particular place is good and the atmosphere is good.

Hard to find good and reasonable priced food near the Convention Center after 9PM. PF Chang was perfect for my appettite and my $40 per diem. =D Loved the chow mein, spicy green beans, pear mojitos and awesome service. Definitely going to hit this spot again during our next PAX trip. =)

We only went here because it was right next door to Nordstrom's and we were really hungry. Normally don't patronize chain restaurants, and now I remember why. The service was terrible. I sat in the bar area and Spencer came and asked if I'd be ordering food. In one of three instances where he completely did not listen, I told him I was waiting for my girlfriend and placed a drink order. Ten minutes later, he shows up with my drink, and again asks if I'm ordering food. I reiterate that I'm waiting for my GF, and decide to place my GF's order so she doesn't have to wait when she arrives. She gets there a few minutes later, but the bartender still takes 10 more minutes to return and tell us that one of the ingredients for the Yuzu Martini isn't available. That's funny, because I ordered her a Mojito. Well, they don't have the ingredients for that either. So she orders another drink, and we place our food order... Which he promptly forgets and has to return to ask for again. And he's gone again for ten more minutes. You would think he'd get right on that drink since we've now been waiting 20+ minutes. But no... He's bussing tables and delivering beers to other tables. Then he finally says 'your drink is coming right up'. Yeah, whatever... Our food arrives, delivered by a runner, and Spencer makes a big deal out of coming to put it on the table. Why? Now you're going to be attentive? The food was average, but the service was abysmal. I felt bad leaving a 10% tip, because it was way more than he deserved.

Meh....it's only slightly better than Panda Express. My friend and I did the $40 4-course prix fixe menu. We ordered: - Hot and sour soup: really bad. Both of us took a spoonful and stopped. It tasted like BBQ sauce! - Egg flour soup: our waitress was nice enough to exchange our hot and sours for the egg soup. Much better, but a bit bland for my liking. - crispy green beans: These were really good and crispy and I loved the sauce that they came with. But what's hard about deep-frying vegetables?? - crispy honey shrimp: These were okay. They tasted like sweet and sour pork, but just with shrimp instead of the pork. - (I think) sweet and sour chicken: again, nothing special. That's probably why I can't completely remember if that's what we actually ordered. - creamy cheesecake and Tres Leche Lemon Dream: these came out in individual shot glasses, and were fine, but reminiscent of something I've had at the local Applebee's. Definitely for the price, I would gladly pay for Chinese fast food instead. I hear their lettuce wraps are great though and I feel bad for judging this place by its prix fixe menu, so maybe I'll give it another shot. Why not?

if you've been to P.F. Changs before in other cities (I've been to PF Changs in Orange County, Burbank, Pasadena, Florida, Texas, etc) they've basically the cheesecake factory of Chinese food. The problem is portion size, for some odd reason the portion size at the Seattle location was incredibly small compared to other locations. I don't know if PF changs changed their menu sizes over the years, but when I first went to PF Changs in the mid 2000s (I want to say, 2005 or 2006), portions were huge and plentiful. But when I went to the Seattle location, it was small and barely enough to satisfy my appetite. I honestly felt robbed because it wasn't that amazing, although the chocolate lava cake was great. It's upscale, pricey asian food that you could easily get for half cheaper at any other local asian restaurant. This seattle location just also happens to skimp out on the sizes.

I've been to P.F. Chang's a lot when I've come down to the States from Canada. I don't know if the novelty of a new franchise we don't have is wearing off, or if this branch is just lacking. Service was great but the food was so-so at best. We questioned if our Kung Pao shrimp was cooked properly or not, evidently it was. My biggest problem that significantly impacted my experience here was that at a table close to us a family was allowed to bring in McDonald's happy meals for their kids (WTF!?) and the children were acting like monkeys that escaped from the zoo. I'm happy we left shortly after they arrived. Otherwise I wouldn't been driven crazy by the horrible behaviour. Why is this chain allowing outside food to come in for dinner?

Lettuce wraps are a must, seared ahi is delicious & the shrimp dumplings are my other go to. (I usually stick to the appetizer menu & mix & match a few things. Their brown rice is amazing. Happy hour drinks are pretty well priced. Con: They took my favorite dish off the menu :/ the chow foon & my experience with waiters has been really hit or miss.

Hmm, how did I get tricked into spending $60 for 2-people at dinner?! Haha. Oh well, the food is decent when you really want some greasy Asian food (emphasize on the greasy). Random tip -- chicken lettuce wraps: don't worry about rationing the lettuce cups - you can ask for more. I stopped by the PF Chang's at Westlake Center last week after work for a quick happy hour. When I walked in, I was surprised at how large and open the bar area was. I immediately took a seat at the bar and one of several bartenders attended to me very quickly (plus)! I ordered a red wine (cab) and then proceeded to order the spicy shrimp and the edamame. Now, it's hard to screw up either one of those tasty delights, and sure enough, they didn't mess it up! I also ordered the fried rice and the grilled steak meals to go. I thought the fried rice was ok; I love my fried rice really greasy and this fried rice tasted a little dry. I didn't try the steak, but the portion size seemed a little small for $14.99. Great happy hour, although I'm not sure about the dinner.

I just got PF Chang de-virginized, and it is mediocre to me. I walked in without any expectations just given that I kinda already knew what to expect, Chinese food for Americans. This place is straight like a Cheese Factory's adopted Asian sister. Swear! The lighting, booths, colors reminded me of Cheesecake. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying. The food wasn't bad, I enjoyed the Singapore Street Noodles that I ordered from the lunch special menu. It had shrimps, scallions, eggs, sitting in a little puddle of sauce. I wish I didn't squeezed the wedge of lime, that came with it, into my food so I could had actually taste the sauce. Pad Thai is eaten with lime and its good, but that's Pad Thai. I pretty much ended up with a Singapore Pad Thai plate of noodles. I chose a green salad, trying to be healthy, to go with my special. Shoulda picked the Egg Drop soup instead. The green salad was just not fitting. At the end, I think My taste buds were in conflicts trying to determine if they've being fed Chinese, Thai, or American food. PF is this lost child in Asia, or maybe America. Ethnicity of the food is confused! The quality, which is what you're paying for, is good. I was more interested in the Asian sculptures decorating the restaurant than the food on the menu.

This place has the best manager ever. Our soup came out with raw wonton YUCK, The server came back with another one lickity split. Another one bites the dust.... raw again. My sister and I had wine so we didn't really care. I was up visiting from San Diego and was happy to be back in Seattle. In an instant, the manager came around and apologized. We told him it was ok. He came back with two cards for appetizers for next time. Then he took the soup off of our bill of course. I love the environment, service everything!!

I've been to PF Changs probably 30 times and generally I rotate between 2-3 dishes. Surprisingly I've never had many issues with consistency until I came here. I've never been to this location. It was later in the evening so there wasn't much of a crowd but despite that fact, the service was slow. I've also never been to a PF Changs where they don't do the soy sauce/mustard mixture. I thought that was standard...especially when you order lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were ok, I've had better but maybe that's because the sauce was missing. I also ordered the sweet and sour chicken which I've never had an issue with. The flavors were bland and the chicken was soft and didn't have that light crispy texture that is usually does. Almost tasted like it just came out of the microwave. Not even close to being worth the $30 meal we paid for.

I will admit to being a fan of P.F. Chang's. Sometimes Chang's Spicy Chicken is just what I'm craving for dinner. Which is what brought us to this one in Westlake a few nights ago. The hostess was friendly and got us seated right away and the food was what I expected. My friend asked if they could make his favorite item, which is no longer on the menu (double pan-fried noodles), and they were very willing to oblige. But those are the only good things I have to say about the experience. Our server seemed to disappear once our order was taken (the food was delivered by someone else) and we waited for nearly 10 minutes from the time we finished eating until we saw him again to get our check. I'd never been to this location before and I don't know that I'll be back any time soon.

I wish I could give it a 3.5. Its not a 3 or a 4. It is a 3.5. The service is top notch. The best we had in Seattle. All of the wait staff were very good. The food was good but not great. I guess I might have been expecting too much. None of it was bad but none of it was the best I have ever had. I heard freat things about the place so we tried it. I wouldn't not go because of my review. The food is good. I was just expecting more.

First time visit. Wasn't impressed. The service was mediocre. The food was less than par. I had ordered the egg rolls and crab wantons for our appetizer. They were fine, nothing special. Had orange beef and white rice for my entree. Yuck! The beef dish taste like it was a frozen reheat and my rice was crunchy, WAY under cooked. Only one of my three guest really enjoyed their meal. So...3 out of 4 with mediocre at best meals... won't be back. Definitely was NOT worth the $85!! Disappointed!

I just tried their gluten free menu, I was very impressed. There was a big selection. I had the "shaking beef" which had a taste I've never experienced before at a Chineese restaurant. The flavor was so unique it almost left me wanting more, but the portion was big enough to satisfy. For dessert I had a flourless chocolate cake that was amazing! The staff was friendly and very attentive. this was my 3rd or 4th time at this restaurant but the best meal I've had yet. Other times I wasn't as impressed. I will have to find one near to where I live and try it yet again.

Let's start by clarifying that the Happy Hour menu is wonderful. Unfortunately, we feared for our safety after being verbally and physically threatened by a patron sitting at the bar who accused us of just "looking" at him (we were just trying to find three seats together at the bar). Staff didn't care and told us "it's first come, first serve". I will never eat here again and was appalled that I was treated so poorly after fearing that myself, my sister and my husband might be attacked. Shame on management and staff for turning a blind eye.

I hate giving one star reviews, but..... all you should know, portions are incredibly tiny, even for pf changs. The server was super rude, also the food runner or whoever brought me my food, not my server didnt tell us what he was sitting down. My server, however continued to tell me i ordered mongolian beef when i actually ordered a chicken dish, not even in the same family lady. She stood there and argued with me about what i ordered. Fact: i never order anything but poultry when i go out to eat because i have iBS and my stomach always seems to hurt after i eat any type of meat but poultry. Why would i ask for a beef plate, i wouldnt. i was so upset i paid, left, ate nothing.

I usually don't like writing reviews on these big chain restaurants, but why not :) I thought this place was a Chinese restaurant! I found it really frustrating and confusing that they kept pushing us to order the "new item" on their menu...Pad Thai. Really Pf Changs?!?!? Pad Thai is Thai NOT Chinese. I guess they are really going for the Asian-fusion type of thing. Anywho, my bf and I like going for the PF Changs for Two menu. A four-course meal for two for $39.95--can't beat that deal! Here's what it comes with: -A cup of soup (per person) -One Starter--we always choose their famous lettuce wraps -Two entrees -Two mini desserts Decent meal, although a bit skimpy on the entrees (nothing beats to portion sizes in the International District). But if you're in Downtown Seattle and looking for decent Chinese food, then this is the place for you. **Check out their Happy Hour, prices for apps and drinks are worth it!

Stopped by this place early on a Saturday evening. The wait for the main dining room was two hours. Hostess suggested the bar for immediate seating. Note to management, if your front staff is instructed to send patrons to your bar, you might let the bar staff know that they should make eye contact with these people who have the misfortune to stumble up there. It was full with many people looking like they were being ignored. After having to almost horse-collar a waiter to get someone to respond to us, when asked about their anticipated availability, he mumbled to sit "wherever" and moved on. Sooo . . we decided to sit at a different restaurant. There are too many similar Asian places very close to this location for these people to be so rude.

I had one of the worst servers I have ever had at a restaurant here. She was EXTREMELY RUDE to me when I tried to order off the gluten free menu, and actually started fighting with me about it. If I could, I would give this place, 0 stars. I believe it's only packed b/c it's in the middle of the city. The food is expensive and not very tasty, the service is shitty, and I should have spent my money elsewhere. I will not be returning.

This was my 3rd time going to PF Changs. I have celiac disease and am pretty scared of eating out. However, at this location, I have had no problems with their gluten free menu. This visit: I informed our server/bartender of my condition and said I would like to order from the GF menu. He told me it may take longer to get my food because of special preparation and the fact that he needs to inform the manager and lead cook. I said "That is great with me. Take your time." They informed me of their process and told me not to touch the sauce on the table (I know this but I love that they are informed). I had shrimp fried rice, mongolian beef, and the egg drop soup. Its a chain but the food is above average. They brought me gluten free soy sauce, non contaminated chili paste and hot mustard. They did a great job. The manager even gave me a gluten free flourless cake piece for free. I suppose this was a show of goodwill to celiacs like myself. Great job Chang's!!! Good food, excellent service, and they were concerned that I ate in safety. I would recommend this to a gluten free patron. Remember to inform the staff of your condition, don't just order from the gluten free menu.

It makes me sad that so many people had a bad experience here because I love this place. Pf Changs was one of my favorite places back at home so I made an effort to come to one out here even if it meant a 30 mile drive. The food has always been good and the service as well. Only reason for the missing star I'd have to say is having to pay for parking every time we come here. Maybe the mall has parking somewhere that you can get validated but if they do, I still have yet to find it after about 15-20 times of going there. I way prefer this place over the one in Bellevue, food is way better and portions are a lot bigger as well. If you're vegetarian I highly recommend the buddha's feast tofu dish, its literally the best tofu dish I've ever tried.

I must be honest I have always really enjoyed PF Changs. But went in Seattle with mom and feel really slitted. The bartender was ever friendly and the drinks were good but hard to screw up Vodka chilled in a glass. However forgot my shopping bag at the table. The next day when I called to see about picking it the bag was never found. Excuse me how does this happen unless the staff was involved.

The food is good. The service we experienced was amazing! We had Brad as our waiter, he was fantastic! He and the manager went above and beyond for us. If that's how they always treat their customers we definitely will be going back!

Do the SAT analogy with me: Olive Garden: Italian:: PF Chang's:....Chinese! dun dun dun! The first time I went to a PF Chang's (not my choice), I ordered a soba. While it was cooking I realized, wait a minute: soba isn't even Chinese! I've been to this location 2 or 3 times for a lunch. Look, I had no expectations of this place. Problem is, the shrimp with lobster sauce made me feel really sick. I wouldn't categorize it as far as food poisoning, but there was a stomachache involved. Oh yeah, parking sucks since its Westlake.

Let me start by saying PF Chang is an upscale American-Pan Asian restaurant and not authentic Chinese, unlike Jade in Richmond, BC that caters only to Hong Kong Chinese, PF Chang appeals to a wider audience by design with fresh food made daily on location. I really enjoy eating here at least once a month, my favorite starters are crab wontons (made with real crab), Seared Ahi Tuna, Spare Ribs, and Vegetarian Lettuce Wrap. The Mu Shu Chicken is delicious, as is the Mongolian Beef. The Shrimp with Candied Walnuts with honeydew melon and creamy Japanese mayo, and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce are absolutely epic, so is the grilled Mahi Mahi with Lemongrass Garlic Sauce. We also ordered Double Pan Fried Noodles Combo (vegetarian version also available) This is one of my favorite chain restaurants for reasons I mentioned above and the selection of items on the menu, not too many restaurants will cook to other, and cater to every customer need. It also offers extensive vegetarian, and gluten free selections. My favorite desserts are Banana Spring Rolls served with Coconut-Pinapple Ice Cream, and Flourless Chocolate Dome. There is also a Happy Hour menu ,Yum on the cheap. Xie Xie Sante!

We were here a few months ago and the service was terrible. I sent an e-mail to the home office and by and by the Seattle manager contacted me. He said he fixed the problems. He sent me a coupon for $30 and asked me to give his restaurant another chance. We gave them another chance last night. Unfortunately the service wasn't much better. First, there were no paper towels in the men's room. You know what it's like to wash your hands only to find there is no way to dry them. The service was slow. The spring rolls arrived and the dipping sauce came after we had finished the spring rolls. The server practically slammed the plates down on our table. When we got our check, the $30 coupon had not been deducted causing us to wait even more while the check was done over. We've been to other P.F. Chang's is other cities and have always had good food and good service. But twice in Seattle, the service was poor. This clearly shows that the Seattle manager is not doing a proper job of selecting, training, and supervising the staff. He doesn't know what good service is; no wonder the rest of the staff doesn't know either.

We like going and eating at the bar after having some fun downtown. The dining room is often too full, so the bar is a good option. The appetizer menu is great, with many tasty and varied options. I really like the lettuce wraps and mushu pork....probably spelled that wrong. Have always had great Mongolian Beef and Sczhechuan dishes...another butchered spelling..LOL. Try some of the more exotic things....you really can't go wrong...the kitchen has a steady hand. Lots of fun drinks available if you indeed imbibe.....

I've never been to a PF Chang's China Bistro, and I finally have a reason why. Upon entry, there is the strong odor of fried chinese food. I enjoy going to chinese restaurants but I would not expect a strong scent from a restaurant posing as a downtown bistro. The interior design hints at an upscale venue yet at a closer look, it was cheaply put together with shabby fabrics and dull wood. The water glasses are laced with the scent and flavor of fried fatty foods. The food is typical chinese with nothing special going on.

My first time to PF Changs. We usually like the real thing, but thought it could be fun to try something different. Here is how it went down: Food: Vegetarian lettuce cups. I thought that this was pretty good, my wife thought the rice noodle sticks were undercooked in a bad way. I think this was at least a 4 out of 5. Wonton Soup. Broth was so-so, nothing special but nothing bad either. The won tons were average to slightly below average....kind of doughy and filled with mystery meat. 2 out of 5 Brussel sprouts with lemon zest. This was shaved like coleslaw and was just okay. I usually love brussel sprouts, but these were easy not to finish. 3 out of 5. Spicy Green Beans. The description makes you think that they are crunchy, but they are served so the beans are on the over cooked size and shriveled. The flavor was okay, but not memorable. 3 out of 5 Rice with meal...White rice that was absolutely horrible. Can't believe any restaurant would serve this and a place like PF Changs must serve this all of the time. The rice was dried out. 1 out of 5 and I'm being generous here. Oolong Sea Bass...Sea Bass with a soy sauce marinade served over a bed of spinach leaves. This was pretty good. I think that it was a 5 out of 5 Carmel Mango Chicken....This was pretty good. It had chunks of unripened mango, tomato, pepper along with stir fried chicken. The mango unripened was a nice compliment to this dish. This was a 4 out of 5. Lo Mein Noodles with chicken for kids. Nothing special here. Run of the mill noodle dish. 3 out of 5. Service...We got seated promptly with online reservations. This was good :). The waiter at our table kept nudging us to order even though we didn't have time to look over the menu. He kept coming back even though we said we needed some time. Once we did order, he disappeared. He forgot to bring our drinks. We reminded him and he said it was all his fault and then it took another long time before he came back with them. We mentioned that it was our daughter's birthday. We heard that they were singing happy birthday at another table but for us they just brought her a small dessert with a candle. No one asked if we wanted to order dessert or not, we just got the bill instead. I guess we weren't going to get dessert even if we wanted it? 2 out of 5 for service. Other: The restaurant....Parking is pay parking with no validation. Parking ran about $7. The bathrooms are two flights of stairs down or take an elevator down. It was weird.

This was my first visit to a P.F. Chang's and I will be back. I was here for dinner on October 15th. We walked in during Happy Hour how can you go wrong. The food and drinks were great. It would have been a treat at full price - We don't get happy hour in Massachusetts so it's always special when on vacation. We had the famous chicken lettuce wraps, pork dumplings, and wasabee pods, with Asian pear mojitos. No complaints, the chicken wraps were really good, served with the super crisp iceburg lettuce, this really does matter. The dumplings were good - only recommendation there to have 4 in the serving. We ate in the bar and really enjoyed our bartenders, they are both transplants, one was recently married, and Steve came from the east coast. They both enjoy what they do and made our meal more enjoyable.

You know? In all honesty, I prefer local Chinese restaurants and tend to avoid chains, BUT then there is PF Chang's China Bistro. Do they really need the China Bistro part? I mean when you set up a dinner and tell your friends to meet you, it's PF Chang"s, right? We had just dropped into Seattle and were not in the mood for restaurant hunting and decided to stop in for lunch. They had a nice special going on. Soup, appetizer two entrees and mini dessert for $40. So that's what we had and we really enjoyed it. I don't need to go in great detail about each dish here b/c I thin kfor the most part we've all been to PF Chang's so I will just do a quick run down. Hot and Sour Soup was surprisingly good, though a bit salty for my taste. Chicken Lettuce Wraps put this place on the proverbial Yelp map and they did not disappoint. I love them! Kung Pao Shrimp was ok. Shrimp were a bit overcooked and that's never good when it comes to shellfish, but it didn't seem to stop me from chowing down. Mongolian Beef was tender and the sauce was delicious!!! Desserts were pretty good. I had the triple chocolate mousse which was overbearing after about 3 bites and Lizzy had this awful raspberry cheesecake deal that I couldn't even swallow, but she said it was ok. Ok, not great. Overall I think PF Chang's is a good place to get your grub on but I'd recommend the Yelp app for your smartphone. That way you can find a restaurant close to you that's not a chain and will likely help boost the local economy. I kinda feel bad that I didn't take my own advice and do exactly what I just suggested, but it's progress not perfection right??

Worse experience ever at a PF Chang's. Horrible service and food was very slow. Other tables around us filled up and were getting their food before us. Food was cold when it finally arrived at our table. Finally had it and complained to the manager. He comped our meal. If he hadn't, I think my wife would have given birth to a cow - sideways. Part of the problem, I think, is that our waiter was distracted as one of his tables was a large group of Packers football players. If he is that busy, then assign us another waiter. Will never go back to this location. We have always been treated well at the Bellevue location.

The BEST review I've read about this place started along the lines of.. "A mid-level executive's racist faked-accent impression of Chinese food." That's so dead on right I couldn't stop laughing. PF Chang's is a Based-on-a-True-Story meets Chinese food. You can call it Asian Fusion if it makes you sound fancy and well traveled. But it's not and it doesn't. (Sorry if anyone has called if that..) I ordered the lunch for 2. Hot and Sour Soup (too thick) Green Beans (with batter.. wtf?) Mongolian Beef (Well done beef flank with sauce?) Orange Chicken (too much citrus) Lemon Meringue and Chocolate Moose pies in shot glasses (dry and pre-made/defrosted) The dishes are like an upscale Panda Express or Safeway Chinese food. But that's all it is.

This is not my first time at changs in Seattle but it was the far best experience I have ever had. The service was amazing and the food was even better. What ever the change was that they made, it was the right one!

When in the mood for Chinese food, this place doesn't come to the top of my mind. However, I was treating and it wasn't my choice. To be fair, our waitress was very nice and attentive offering up insight into the menu and the most popular menu items. We ordered the short ribs as a starter, which were on the dry side and way too salty. For dinner, I ordered the beef tacos, along with the ahi tuna on crispy rice wafers. The ahi tuna wafers were pretty good. The tuna was seasoned well and the crackers provided a nice little crunch which blended well with the softness of tuna. The tacos were a miss for me, they were mainly just seasoned beef on a cold flour tortilla. My mentee ordered the sweet and sour pork. I didn't try it but thought the sweet and sour sauce looked watery thin, which made me question the flavor; usually sweet and sour sauce tends to be much thicker. Overall, I liked the space but getting to the restroom was a bit of a pain. There are several flights of stairs and it feels as though you are descending into a basement-very odd! The stairs were quite steep even for someone who had only sipped tea. I can only imagine how many slips have occurred in the past.

Bar only review: I've been here a few times. Food/drinks is over priced for what it is, so I never make the initiative to come by on my own. I enjoy the staff and bartenders. One time I got drinks and ordered food on a busy day, but never got my food. Got my drinks only because I was sitting at the bar. The manager apologized and gave my friend and I free appetizer coupons for our next visit. I'm disappointed that a pan-asian place like PF doesn't have Lychee-tinis! (But you guys have Plum wine?) Its a good (sweet) drink for anyone, even for people with more Western tastes. My most recent visit the bartender chose me to beta test a drink that he is working on. I was really happy that he chose me to try it. It was delicious! I want to return and try it again. As someone who doesn't really do the pan-asian scene, this place is ok. I will remember to say potstickers instead of goyza so I don't confuse your staff. Please make Lychee-tinis. I promise to make more of an effort to visit, rather than to follow friends.

Great service! Great food! I recently had to go on a Gluten-Free Diet and that was the first restaurant I went to. The server took the time to go over the menu and mentioned that he was told they had the best Gluten-Free menu in town. The food was amazing. I would recommend it even if you can eat Gluten. I have not tried their extensive Gluten-Free items but hey also have deserts!

I ordered the Kung Pao shrimp. It tasted like stale chicken McNuggets. Worst Kung Pao shrimp I've ever had at a PF Changs. Maybe I'll try it again sometime and maybe this was a 1 off. However, I've probably eaten the Kung Pao shrimp at 1/2 dozen different locations at least 20 times and it's always been good and consistent. Not at this location.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
